Now let me start by saying I love all the lone star character and I love tarlos as a couple and individuals BUT how in the hell does it not come up in literal years of dating that you have a secret wife ????? And I get that Iris was in a fragile state with her schizophrenia but the way Carlos got so mad at TK for going to vist her after he didn't even apologise in the first place for lying to him (well not technically lying I guess but lying by omission) lowkey kinda annoyed the fuck out of me like Carlos is one of my favourite characters but wtf dude like this whole situation was just such a train wreck lmao

Season 5 Tarlos Wish List

I loved Carlos' first place the most. Their second home together is also lovely but so many bad things happened there and while they lived there. I hope they get a new house.

Long live Lou and their 2nd iguana but I hope they get a 4-legged furry pet next season.

I know it's early in their marriage and they had their conversation about it so I'm hoping they babysit some kids together.

Double dates and hanging out with friends, especially another queer couple. Paul & Asha and Nancy & Mateo too.

It saddens me at times that we didn’t get much Spanish speaking Carlos or Mateo as I believe we should have.

Or any scenes where a language barrier was an issue that could have been explored deeper. I mean I know they were in a pretty Metro area of Texas but, come on, it was still Texas people.

Thankful for the times we got Spanish speaking Tommy but I feel bereft about Carlos and Mateo.

We know Carlos speaks Spanish. But I don’t ever actually remember if we got confirmation if Mateo does or not. People probably just assume he does based solely on his name and race. That would’ve been an interesting dynamic - seeing as how he is about to get deported back to Mexico, (barring an asteroid strike) and since he’s been in the United States practically his whole life, he may not even speak Spanish. That’s a real issue that happens when someone is in the US on DACA or here via other means and gets deported. 😔

(Also I would have just loved to see Carlos whispering some Spanish sweet nothings or other nonsense into TK’s ear a-la “am I gonna have to twist your arm?” And TK going slightly feral about it.)
