Thinking about what Phil said in the AmazingDan reaction video. How he “felt empowered” on Dan’s channel because his channel was relatively tame. Thinking about how in the Getting Deep at the Slumber Party video Phil says he hates when people assume he’s shy. I know we talk a lot about how Phil made Dan feel safe for the first time in 18 years (Dan’s words), but also Dan made Phil feel comfortable and empowered to express himself in a way that most people didn’t get to see. It’s Phil recognizing something about himself when he’s with Dan. It’s them looking at each other and saying “Oh!
