OFFICIAL RETAIL RELEASE DATE:
NORTH AMERICA - THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28th / 10 PM EST / 7 PM PST JAPAN - FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th, 11 AM JST EUROPE - FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th, 4 AM CEST
The Dune is the signature return top for Anthony Rojas.
Designed by Chris Mikulin to incorporate all of Anthony's favorite features in a return top, the Dune features a unique weight distribution makes it play faster than anything else in the CLYW line, making it one of the most contest-ready monometals we've made to date. The curves, both on the profile and inner cup of this return top, speak directly to Anthony's own design sensibilities. Drawing on past return tops that Anthony has competed with but refined to truly fit his tricks, the Dune carries forth a new level of playability for Anthony with plenty of that CLYW style you've come to love.
Anthony and Chris worked closely to get this one *just right* and we hope you love it as much as we do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This special Artist Edition Dune has three new colorways based on Anthony's own photography. The pin colors reflect that, and included with the return top are custom strings. We collaborated with Zipline Strings to produce a blend that complimented Anthony's play style and accentuated the speed of the Dune, and produced them in colors that complimented the overall theme. Included with each yoyo is also a 5" x 7" print of the original photo that inspired the colorway.

TODAY. I. SAW. SO MANY ANIMALS!!!
Tumblr media
I promise this is a moose circled here; it was moving pretty fast.
Tumblr media
Look at this young caribou!!! Look at them! I assume they're licking salt off the roadside. Same with the sheep below (the second one is landing from a jump behind the guardrail).
Tumblr media
I painstakingly took this picture of these swans at Toad River Lodge through my binoculars and I'm quite pleased with myself about it. The sheep promenading along the road there was alongside construction at Muncho Lake.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AND THEN. FINALLY. BISON.

MHA Nation & 4 Bears Casino Launches New Gaming Riverboat
Owned by three affiliated tribes (MHA, Mandan, Hidacha, and Arikara) Nation, 4 Bears Casino & Lodge is recently expanding its entertainment offerings with the addition of a new gaming riverboat River Willow, where visitors embark on a scenic journey across Lake Saka. This addition significantly improves casino amenities, allowing for new and exciting gaming experiences in North Dakota's largest lake.
The River Willow, a majestic three-story vessel that is nearly 80 feet long, made its first public voyage shortly after the christening ceremony on July 10, 2024. The state-of-the-art riverboat is equipped with 45 slot machines and several live blackjack tables, providing a dynamic gaming experience with Lake Sakakawa in the background.
The floating casino is part of a game boat pilot project in regulated waters of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, according to Mark Fox, chairman of the Three Alliance Tribal Business Committee. However, it is the first time that the Willow River has been licensed in regulated waters of the Army Corps of Engineers, although there are other game boats in the U.S., said the Willow River. The gambling vessels run on the Missouri River, located behind the casinos and cabins.
a multi-faceted entertainment venue
According to Indian Gaming, River Willow is designed to suit a wide range of guests and events. The boat's lower deck is reserved exclusively for gaming, and guests over 19 are welcome to enjoy a wide range of slot machines and card tables. The second deck is the perfect place for individual and corporate gatherings, as it provides a flexible space to accommodate a variety of events, such as convention, meetings, weddings, and more. River Willow's top deck offers 360-degree views, allowing for breathtaking views of surrounding lakes and landscapes.
Adjacent to Riverboat, 4 Bears Casino & Lodge continues to offer a variety of amenities. This includes additional slots and game tables, a variety of dining options, a coffee shop with caribou coffee, and an indoor swimming pool. For customers looking to extend their stay, this Lodge offers a convenient C store with an RV Park, Lakeside Cabin, liquor store and car wash.
River Willow operates two daily cruises from Wednesday to Sunday, providing ample opportunity for guests to enjoy their unique "Lakewater Games" experience. The addition is expected to boost the local tourism and entertainment industry by attracting more visitors as well as enhancing recreational options available at the 4 Bears Casino & Lodge. 동행복권파워볼
As 4 Bears Casino & Lodge continues to innovate and expand its service, River Willow stands out as an important addition to complementing its existing amenities and providing guests with an unrivalled gaming experience on the water. For gaming enthusiasts and those looking for an event venue, River Willow offers refreshing and scenic options.

August 27th, Fort Nelson
Woke up to finally some sunshine.  We decided to take advantage of the weather and nixed one last dip in the hot springs.   Glad we did, it was a perfect driving day with lots of Bison and Caribou to see.   Also, lots of messy road construction and delays.
The scenery through Muncho Provencial Park and the Toad and Tetsa River valleys was spectacular.    We stopped at Tetsa River Lodge for their famous Cinnamon rolls around 11:30.   Then pushed on to Fort Nelson.  Just past the Lodge the road suddenly widened, and became a perfect road which means our first 60+ speed since we left Alaska!
Got to Triple G Hideaway in Fort Nelson around 1pm.   Once we got parked we looked at how bad the rig and truck looked from all the construction mud (that glacier mud just coats and sticks!).   After a walk through town, we decided to wash the truck today and the rig tomorrow morning before we leave.  Since we hadn’t eaten anything but a delicious cinnamon roll today, we walked over to the Park’s restaurant and had an excellent chicken sandwich in a nice rustic restaurant.
Tomorrow, we head to Fort St. John as we continue to work south.

Suriname, a jewel nestled in the northeastern corner of South America, boasts a rich history and breathtaking beauty that captivates visitors from around the globe. This small yet diverse country is often referred to as the "beating heart of the Amazon" due to its lush rainforests, winding rivers, and abundant wildlife.
The history of Suriname is as diverse as its landscape. Originally inhabited by indigenous peoples such as the Arawaks and Caribs, Suriname was later colonized by the Dutch in the 17th century. The legacy of Dutch colonization is evident in Suriname's architecture, language, and culture, as well as in its diverse population, which includes descendants of African slaves, Indian and Javanese indentured laborers, Chinese immigrants, and indigenous groups.
Despite the challenges of colonization and slavery, Suriname's people have persevered, creating a vibrant and unique cultural tapestry. This diversity is celebrated through festivals, music, dance, and cuisine, with influences from Africa, India, Indonesia, China, and Europe blending harmoniously.
Suriname's natural beauty is unparalleled. The country is home to vast tracts of pristine rainforest, teeming with exotic flora and fauna. Visitors can explore dense jungles, meandering rivers, and towering waterfalls, encountering colorful birds, elusive jaguars, and playful river dolphins along the way. Suriname's interior is a paradise for adventure seekers, offering opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, kayaking, and even eco-friendly lodges for immersive stays.
Beyond its untamed wilderness, Suriname also boasts stunning coastal landscapes. The capital city, Paramaribo, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its well-preserved colonial architecture, bustling markets, and vibrant nightlife. Along the coast, pristine beaches beckon sunseekers, while offshore, coral reefs teem with marine life, offering world-class diving and snorkeling experiences.
But perhaps the true beauty of Suriname lies in its people. Warm, welcoming, and proud of their cultural heritage, Surinamese are known for their hospitality and sense of community. Whether sharing a meal of spicy roti, dancing to the rhythms of kaseko music, or simply swapping stories under the shade of a mango tree, Suriname's people embody the spirit of unity in diversity.
In every corner of Suriname, from the misty rainforests to the sun-drenched coast, visitors are greeted with warmth and wonder. With its rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture, Suriname truly stands as a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

Avin nodded, "That's good," he scratched his forehead, "I'm just doing some small meetings with Caribou Lodge this week but I'm basically free if you need any help moving things or, whatever." Avin put his other foot into the skate and quickly tied it then stood up. "I think they want to upgrade my phone," he told her and held out his hands to help her balance, "Maybe I can clear this one out and get it set up for you. Make sure your texts go through."
Tumblr media
"Not tonight. Kofi said he didn't want to be there alone, and having been there solo for the past three nights, I get that. Besides, it'll give me the chance to talk to him, figure out a game plan, all that. We're seeing the lawyer tomorrow, so..." It'd have a domino effect. Inez finished tying her laces and stood, downing the rest of her drink with one hand gripping the edge of the table.

Some assholes would see “the carpenter”, to not do anything today, but they just insist on being in the lodge with whites. Some negro, he isn’t making cabinets, cubbies, the like, but he would hear of “work” and wants you to teach him like it is 1865. He could be a Carib, so now he doesn’t want to talk ragtime because of the island girl, and in it see island mentality.
Some fucks see that the Middle East doesn’t have the infrastructure america and Germany, the UK, does, and then you see capitals to ignore the country. See it, to see oil, to see incompetent people. Now, some fucks insist they put on the ball cap and “build,” a white teaches them, “the negro is condemned”, and now you see me sit a seat to say you are loony if you want that. What to do after a day of building, flag football with the troops of “Gad” and numbers of “Meni?” Things about the frame? Well, imagine insurance to picture the “highest” possible deal, and now you see talk. Who manufactured it, the Hungarian? Is the Hungarian making you want to go to Hungry? I want no parts with negroland, I’ll tell you about it and it is communist with incompetent people.. now, spicks want to “build” because of the lepers.

CANADA - BRITISH COLUMBIA
2023 Jun 25 (Sun) – Today was a very looooong day.  We left Sikanni at 8:00 a.m.  The drive was 240 miles.  It took us and our 3 three rigs six hours to arrive at Toad River Lodge.  The scenery along the way was fantastic.  The group spotted 7 bears (we only saw 2) and 2 caribou.  Someone else reported seeing stone sheep and big horn sheep during their drive.
After we inspected the campsites (I think there are 21 in the campground), we assigned spaces then greeted each group as they came in.  The fifth and last group arrived around 5 p.m.  During the drive, we stopped in Tetsa River to buy cinnamon buns.
We went to dinner in the café with Johnny & Linda.  The food was OK but expensive.   Afterward, we held a travel meeting in a tent site area.  Everyone is very upbeat and excited about the trip.
2023 Jun 24 (Sat) – It was a decent drive today – about 150 miles.  We left Dawson Creek at 9 a.m. with 3 rigs and drove 3-1/2 hours to Sikanni River Campground.  Sikanni (pronounced SICK-A-NEE) is a small way station along the Alaska Highway.  The campground (if you could call it that) was a dirt field with back-ins along the tree line and some pull-thrus on the side.  Most folks had 30 amp electric.  Three of us had 15 amp service; just enough to power the refrigerator.
2023 Jun 23 (Fri) – Today was a free day.  Everyone was free to go off and do what they wanted.  Paul and I worked on the next few stops.  Beth pointed out a discrepancy in the itinerary. Apparently, we scheduled both the optional jeep tour of Denali National Park for the same day as the Husky Homestead Tour.  My heart was in my throat as I contacted the Husky Homestead folks and asked for a change.  Luckily, they were able to reschedule us for the next day and more luckily, we had nothing planned for that day.  Whew!
At 6 p.m. we met back in Sudeten Hall for a travel meeting.  The group is coming together nicely.  There are good friendships being formed and the comradery is high.
2023 Jun 22 (Thu) – At 9 a.m. we all met at the Walter Wright Pioneer Village for a self-guided tour of the village.  We broke everyone up into groups, the same arrangement as when they drove here.  Our five groups headed off in their different directions and seemed to enjoy the nostalgia.
At 11:30 a.m. we gathered in Sudeten Hall for lunch catered by the Meat Doctor.  There was pulled pork, beef brisket, baked potato, cole slaw, strawberry cake, beverages and coffee.  Everything was delicious.
A representative from the visitor center – Melissa – came in and gave a presentation to the group about the Alaska Highway and Dawson Creek.  After her hour-long slide show, she gave everyone a certificate attesting to the fact they were at Mile 0 of the Alaska Highway.
We then all grabbed our jackets and sent to the Mile 0 Marker to take a group picture.  Paul took many individual shots as well.  Then Paul & I walked to the visitor center to pick up some post cards for the grandsons.  The docent told me where the post office was so we walked three block down main street to buy some stamps.  The post card stamps are the same as their first class stamps.  We walked back up main street, then returned to the campground.
At 5 p.m., several people gathered for happy hour.  Joe brought out the dice to play a yard game.  It was fun.
2023 Jun 21 (Wed) - We left Whitecourt in Alberta at 8 a.m., leading 3 RVs.  The weather was clear (no rain, yay!) and the scenery was very nice.  The roads were long and straight with lots of trees.  The drive was over six hours.  We stopped in Beaver Lodge for lunch and took a picture with a giant beaver sculpture.
Once we arrived, we figured out where everyone would go and set out the parking crew.  The last rig came in around 4 p.m.  It made for a very long day.  A small group gathered to socialize outside our rig around 6 p.m.  At 9, we came inside.  There was a one hour time change today which made for a longer day.  We are bushed!

Day 5 May 28 Gakona - Grizzly Lake 79kms
Yesterday afternoon I spent an enjoyable 90 minutes or more talking to my hosts Mel and Jerry while my clothes were being washed and dried.
Tumblr media
First Mel helped me sort out my accommodation for tonight by making a phone call to this place I’m in now. It’s a camping ground with cabins. The internet is unusable, there’s no TV, the water in the cabin doesn’t work because the pipes are still frozen, but it’s a nice new (not quite finished ) cabin with a comfy bed, coffee maker, fridge ( not really essential in this weather) and microwave. I haven’t paid yet because they weren’t able to process my card on their phones so I’ve offered to do a bank transfer later. I really hope they’re not charging me the full amount because there are so many things lacking.
Anyway, back to yesterday. Mel makes the most delicious cinnamon rolls! I had one with coffee, then when we realised I wouldn’t be able to purchase anything for dinner tonight, she gave me some moose stew to have for dinner last night and keep the one I bought in Glenallen for tonight. The moose stew was pretty good.
This morning I was slightly delayed by talking to my neighbours in the adjoining cabin, Becky and Jeff.
Tumblr media
Becky is wearing an amazing coat made by the indigenous people out of the pelts of several different animals.
She also was kind enough to give my some Echinacea which is exactly what I needed. I’ve been feeling fine on the bike but have been coughing a lot in the evenings. They were a lovely couple so I cycled off in good spirits. Receiving a nice email from my friend Peter from Tewantin also made a great start to the day.
Todays ride started with a 2km hill. As usual I don’t mind climbing first thing when my legs are fresh as it helps to warm up. It was pretty cold today. I knew todays ride was going to be slightly uphill but that didn’t matter too much as it wasn’t overly long. Tomorrow will be much longer but mostly slightly downhill.
The outlook was all forest so there was not much to do except look for bears again. It improved a bit after a while.
Tumblr media
A few caribou ( or something) ran on the road in front of me just before I reached halfway. I knew there was going to be somewhere to stop so when I saw the ‘Red Eagle Lodge’, I assumed that was it.
Tumblr media
I let myself in through the side door ( nobody locks anything here) and was met by Judy, the owner. I asked if I might be able to get a coffee and she invited me to help myself to her coffee and leftover breakfast from her guests. The coffee was the best I’ve had for a long time, made with her pride joy, an Australian Breville machine. I enjoyed a bagel and pocketed a boiled egg for later while chatting to Judy. She then suggested I inspect her cabins which were all beautifully appointed. I was sorry I wasn’t staying there because they were not on any online accommodation forums and I hadn’t been able to find out how much they charged. I advised her to get on Airbnb so people could book online but she is 80yo and not confident with IT things.
After an extended break I cycled on again. A couple of kms up the road I saw the gas station where I was actually supposed to stop. Oops!
The afternoon ride was pretty uneventful except for a couple of long slow hills. I took this photo crossing a bridge so you can see how the river is still frozen in places. Rain started just before I arrived at my destination. By the time my hostess was showing me to my cabin, it was hailing! Glad I got in when I did.
Tumblr media
I better go try and pay now and hopefully the internet will be good enough at the house for me to post this.
