The kiss was met with similar enthusiasm, although, more from Kieran. The caregiver has just returned from work, shoulders sagging with another exhausting long day at the children’s home. There’s still some heart-shaped confetti stuck in his hair, as they held a Valentine’s Dinner party and they’ve let loose valentine-themed poppers. The kids loved that.

But now he’s home, and Norman is there to welcome him back, and all is well.
