I'm hosting a small Rafayel birthday party/general LaDS/kpop/delulu party. And I really wanted a cutout. However...they're expensive. So, I made one instead. It cost about $20-$30 depending on foam board cost and what supplies you already have.
I love him so much. I might make the rest of the boys since my friend and I want to host an event.

Hypeman to Advertising Prop
Commission for Darthobiwan123 - Drake's definitely been one of the best cheerleaders for Deadlock being a twimp for Ivy. So the developers would likely use that as a source of brilliant advertising. Though their imagination would lean towards traditional standees. Hopefully noone steals them for a private Ivy collection.

did a big goofy craft this morning!
my room is kinda small to have two people in it, but hes flat, so he doesnt take up THAT much space
(while i liked him a lot, i PRIMARILY made this because ive always wanted an anime style standee (for CAMP reasons) but im not that big into anime and all my faves are too tall. this is still shorter than the 'real' kokichi but it seems to be in the same RANGE which is satisfying)
somehow i still didnt realize how fucking huge this would be XD
((to make this i got the biggest png i could find of him and put it into the rasterbator website, printed it out at office max [it cost twice as much as i thought it would and im salty about it] carefully taped it together and then glued it to carboard))

How can cutout standees enhance your event's visual appeal?
Tumblr media
cutout standees are a fantastic way to enhance the visual appeal of any event. Here are some ways they can make your event more engaging and memorable:
Eye-Catching Displays: Standees grab attention with their vibrant colors and life-size presence, making them perfect focal points.
Thematic Decor: They can be customized to match the theme of your event, adding a cohesive and immersive feel to the environment.
Photo Opportunities: cutout standees provide fun and interactive photo spots for guests, encouraging social sharing and boosting event visibility online.
Brand Visibility: For corporate events, standees can prominently display branding and key messages, enhancing brand recognition.
Guiding Guests: They can be used as creative signage to direct guests, ensuring smooth navigation throughout the event space.
Conversation Starters: Unique or humorous standees can spark conversations among attendees, fostering a lively and engaging atmosphere.
By incorporating cutout standees into your event design, you can create a visually stunning and interactive experience that leaves a lasting impression on your guests.

“Luigi could technically kick my ass” Technically? Luigi could ABSOLUTELY kick ALL of our asses.
Well yeah, that goes without saying. He can kick almost any ass. I mean have you seen his zero to death ability in Smash Bros?
youtube
He could snap any one of us in half like a Christmas cracker.

I am once again making cardboard decor. Except this time it's not for a party, it's for my mom's work.
There's no face because it's gonna be a standee you stick your face for pictures. The question is do I have enough paint for this? We're gonna find out.

@confetti39x asked me how to make a cardboard cutout, so here is my method
Things you will need:
Poster-board or cardboard
Masking tape
Exacto knife
Modge podge
Flat paint brush/sponge brush
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Access to a colored printer
Step 1:
Find a full body image of the person of your choice, and make sure it’s high quality enough that it won’t pixelate to badly when zoomed in.
Step 2:
Go to rasterbator.net to upsize your image. Hit “create poster”, upload your image, and then input the dimensions you want when it prints. After that, press “no effects”, and download your pdf. Then, print it on any colored printer.
Step 3:
Tape your images together. There should be a white border when you print it out. I like to leave two sides cut and two sides uncut so I have a stronger connection when I tape the pieces together. Utilize the backside of the paper, and any areas on the front that will be cut away. You will constantly be lifting and setting down the whole join of paper throughout the process

Step 4:
Cut out the body.
Step 5:
Hot glue your cardboard/poster-board together to get a large enough shape. I like to cut small rectangles and glue them to the back of the joins for a stronger connection.
Step 6:
put the taped paper figure you cut out on the poster-board, and trace it with a pencil. remove the figure
Step 7:
Use an exacto knife to cut out the outline

Step 8:
Use modge podge to glue the paper cutout to the poster board cutout. You can also apply the modge podge between any gaps between the paper, and over the figure itself to make it flat.
Step 9:
have him chill on your floor for a few days as he dries

Step 10 (optional):
Use your remaining board material to make a base/stand for your cutout. (I’d show pictures but I’m still on step 9)
So there you have it. How to make a cardboard cutout
