What We Possess is live now over on Kickstarter!
This is your chance to buy in on a ghostly story-telling game unlike any other. Gather the living and the dead in this 2-7 player, gm-less story telling experience. Create and uncover the mystery, and help lay the dead to rest.
And if you don't think you need an awesome brand new game, that's okay. Consider supporting your friendly local Publishing Goblin by making a pledge for the $5 tier, or $1 as a non-tier donation.
With the way the Kickstarter algorithm works, every single backer, no matter the money spent, counts hugely for this first day. So for just $1 you can make a huge difference for a small artist.
Alright, now get at it!

System Spotlight: Descended from the Queen
Descended from the Queen is a card-based rpg system based on Alex Roberts' award winning For the Queen. It's typically GMless, and players take turns answering prompts and exploring their characters as they go. It's zero prep too- perfect for an impromptu game night.
For the Grail by Sam Robson
Cost: $2.99
For the Grail is the tale of King Arthur and his knights on their grand quest for the Grail. Unlike other DftQ games, For the Grail is designed to be played over multiple sessions, called 'chapters.'
For the Prom Queen by Michelle Jones
Cost: $5
For the Queen in a high school setting. At the end of the day, you must decide- does the Cheer Captain deserve your loyalty?
Oops! All Queens by lampbane
Cost: PWYW
A fun spin on the system where every player is a Queen! Requires a copy of the original For the Queen.
Remembrance by Meghan Cross
Cost: PWYW
A group of clones emerge from their pods, with only scattered memories of their progenitor to give them any sense of identity. Answering a call for help from said progenitor, the clones set out into the world. What new identities will they forge along the way? When it comes down to it, will they save their progenitor or leave them to their troubles?

Indvisable tabletop RPG premise #137: solo journaling game where.. okay, you know that serialised boys' adventure schlock from the 1930s and 1940s where the writers needed the otherwise intensely homosocial male leads to be seen hanging out with girls in order to prove that they're not gay, but they didn't want to include more than one female character, so they'd have just the one girl and sort of imply-without-ever-directly-stating that she's dating all of them at once? Solo journaling game where you take on the role of that girl.

"what if we shot a RPG and stared at the explosions like new years fireworks and then we lay in the long grass and maybe for a moment we were in love in the way the long grass loves sunlight and not in love in the way a rocket loves to explode" -Kath, who got to see this piece earlier than anyone else, who's words stuck with me like they tend to do <3
This is my piece for the iasip Valentine's zine over at @its-always-ziney-in-philadelphia ! :)

Warden Tabris
The Hero of Ferelden
Been going thru the Dragon Age games and books this summer, since Veilguard is coming out soon.
For some reason, I’m discovering that there’s lots of media that’s been downright formative for me and yet I haven’t made any art of it? Can’t have that.
This is the series that first introduced me to storytelling through video games and to gaming in general, so its world is very dear to me. Dragon Age Origins is a story of perseverance in the face of immense adversity and I’ve carried it with me when battling such odds.
Also why I picked Nine of Wands as the tarot card to recreate. Loosely recreate, I should say. But Nine of Wands is also called The Wounded Warrior and represents one last push in a long battle before emerging triumphant, which really speaks to Origins story and their particular story beat I’m showing.
It only feels right to start with it. Especially since my canon warden is Tabris(“Like dogs, Shianni.” might be the hardest line in fiction)
Hawke next!

Make the conflict between Elves and Orcs more low stakes by declaring that Thark, Lord Of The Burning Wastes and Aelrindel, Warden of The Silver Woods have a hatecrush on each other and are just unable to express their emotions.

January 4th my friends, we're taking a trip into the future for pizza, then popping over to prehistoric America to deal with some rogue cavemen with time travel technology they stole from the dinosaurs.
ZOETROPE: Death Didn't Take is a time travel shenanigans roleplaying game run on cards and made for one-shots and fun, improv play. You're a member of the rent-a-cop time travel organization, and you will fuck up.
And when you do?
Just try again.

Have you played You Have to Eat the Cards ?
By Grief / GriefSoDeerly
Tumblr media
There is a demon that lurks in these cards - something terrible, something forgotten, something that longs to be free, to wreak havoc. It has currently been separated into 52 pieces, but will reform if they are not all entirely destroyed in intricate ritual.
Inspired by this one time at a table where the author watched a friend attempt to eat a trading card. 'We don’t recommend playing this one.' -Grief
