The Wyvern!

(Other choices: Rock Drake, Tropeognathus, Shadowmane, Carcharodontosaurus)

Yeah, I know, the Wyvern's kind of a cop-out answer considering that the Monster Hunter franchise is literally chock-full of wyverns of all shapes and sizes, but, like, c'mon. It's such an obvious answer.

So, to specifically elaborate upon ARK Wyverns; they're your typical two-legged, two-winged creatures that come in a bunch of different map-specific elemental variations (Fire/Ice/Lightning/Poison/Ember/Tropical/Blood), which you can also ride into battle ala Game of Thrones. However, they're tamed with a verrry specific method. See, in ARK, the vast majority of stuff you can just tame by literally knocking them unconscious and then stuffing food into its inventory until it loves you. However, with Wyverns, you have to go out of your way to steal an egg, survive the oncoming horde of super-pissed-off Wyverns zeroing in on your ass like heat-seeking missiles, and then raise the baby while feeding it milk stolen from knocked-out female Wyverns.

Which is also pretty similar to how you get new monster companions/Monsties in the MH Stories games. At least with the whole egg-stealing bit.

Honestly overall since Marie's reallly good with creatures in general, I can just see her having close bonds with a lot of different ARK creatures. I just chose the Wyvern, Rock Drake, Tropeo, Shadowmane, and Carcha in particular because they kind of just fit that whole "beast companion" vibe with her, if that makes sense?

I do have a few! I’m still kinda putting them together and figuring them out but 👀

Here’s what i got so far; a few concept sketches that have been collecting dust in my clip studio folder

There’s Larsyr (Lahr-seer) a burgundy rascal that hangs out near port towns and maaaybe speaks to ghosts? Undecided atm but i have some gender envy type of feeling about them

Then there’s my token clown Dseeno (Duh-see-no) who streams on whatever the troll equivalent of Twitch is and probably has troll onlyfans and does cam shows

Then we got the most recent addition to the gang….Carcha…big mean old seadweller asshole. Need I say more?

Anyway yeah! That’s about all I got so far I’m slowly trying to work on figuring these guys out

Disney Month Condorman

For the 15th installment of Disney Month ,as we look at the spy comedy Condorman

This 1981 film follows an eccentric comic book writer/artist Woody Wilkins (Michael Crawford) gets involved in the defection of a russian agent Natalia Rambova (Barbra Carrera )

So this film was promoted as a superhero film,and thats what I thought it was....It isnt,it is kind of one near the end ,but its more of a spy comedy .I'm gonna be honest this movie is really stupid ,Woody can be grating,the plot might bbe too silly for some,it might be infuriating for some that a film advertised as a superhero film has very little superheroing,and a extended scene of Woody disguised in brownface ,which is YIKES .I get why this film is not fondly remmebered,as its an unremmarkable goofy comedy.....However ,without going into detail, I was having a depressive episode when I saw this movie ,and this stupid film really helped me, I needed something silly.I also enjoyed the film,while he can be grating Michael Crawford can also be charming as a bufoon hero,Barbra Carrera and him have fun chemistry ,James Hampton is FANTASTIC as Woodys CIA friend ,Jean-Pierre Kaifon is great as a menacing one eyed murderous agent,and Oliver Reed is so intimidating as the main villain ,I think he thinks he is in a completely diffrent movie ,like him reading a comic book is somehow incredibly menacing .There are also some great production values with some good explosions ,carchaes ,boat chases and action

Overall.....I dont know if I reccomend it or not ,cause I enjoye this goofy movie but it is very flawed ,and beware that one racist scene
