Known as the “blood wyrm” for its red color and ferocity, one of the most distinctive dragons because of its slender and long physique. Its characteristic roar is due to the fact that Caraxes has a deviated septum which also provides him with his unique serpentine like look and movements of his neck.

The best part of HOTD 2x06 was definitely Caraxes shrieking in the background while Daemon and Alys were talking.

Alys: Wait three days and the winds will shift Caraxes: THREE DAYS???????? WE’RE NOT GONNA DO IT, RIGHT DAEMON? DAEMON? DAEMON PLEASE TELL ME WE ARE NOT STAYING FOR THREE MORE DAYS. Daemon Targaryen & Caraxes

I went to New York Comic-Con for the first time. I painted this after I found out Matt Smith would be there. My original plan was to make a headshot of Daemon Targaryen but I couldn't imagine him without  Caraxes. 

I planned on giving this to Matt as a gift but could not because of the long line. I'm still glad I made this tho.

noooo, i cannot think about this moment, my heart will be broken, i know the show will make them share a last look, maybe both will die in the shores together. i hope to see daemon saying "thanks my old friend, for all this time", they were together in exiles, in marriages, in war, and in death. the bond between dragon and rider is something so unique, the show better make it justice with these two
