I SEEEEEEEE a lot #also. when i was in australia there was a literary festival happening and i signed up to see a panel with cs pacat in it #but she unfortunately had to cancel :((( it was still a very good panel though. naomi novik was there #(i started reading a czech copy of temeraire years ago but didn't get very far in at all im sorry)#anyway ive been wanting to draw this since may. but travel and artfight happened a lot #and now that i finally got around to it it's been a STRUGGLE #translating how i see them in my head to paper. poses not working as i want. scrapping an entire lineart i spent several hours on #but i think i captured the exact vibes i wanted in the end...!!#please enjoy it

Grandfest PSA!!!

While grand festival is going on, I'm seeing a lot of people hoping that someone will archive the performances and things. And I do want to note something.

Just because someone has already recorded the performances and put them online doesn't mean you shouldn't do the same.

There's always a chance that such recordings can get taken down, or the person deletes their account, or something else. And if we have only one record, then it's lost forever.

So if you have a capture card and can record the performances, or you can rip the music files from the game, DO IT!!! we will need backup after backup, knowing Nintendo, if we want to keep the memory of this Splatfest alive. And don't just record them from a distance, like at the Giant Clam Stage where you can only see the screen. Record up close on all three stages so that we can see the choreography too. That's useful for anyone wanting to learn them, since the live concert recordings don't always show all the movements from everyone. Get every part of this fest recorded, and if you know someone else who can, get them to as well, even if the files sit on your computer for a while.

The future will be glad that we've preserved so many copies of the fest- in case one is too quiet, or doesn't have a high quality, or is too far away for someone's taste there is always others. We cannot assume, with Nintendo being Nintendo, that just one set of recordings for everything is enough.

Get out there and record!!!!

Ok once again... THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST, ANON 💖💖💖💖💖 I've been writing lyrics for Splatoon songs sonce literally 2016, it's only just recently that I've wanted to turn it into a larger project and record the lyrics I've made to make covers! Now then, Calamari Inkantation is one that I finished recently and it was actually a rather challenging one for me. While I'm not sure if I'm 100% satisfied with it and I may rework things here and there, it has a lot that I really like!
