Okay but also consider: After the rumbling Levi eventually gets a little softer around the edges. Like not overweight by any means but also just...softer because he isn't fighting everyday and gets to be safe (relatively at least).
Oh yes! I personally think Levi never truly loses the athletic side because he strikes me as someone who never stops training or maintaining good shape. Maybe it's my idea because both of my parents were very athletic in their youth, and with time passing, they didn't have as much free time to train, but they never lost the habit. So, I think that post-war Levi, especially since in the "bad boy cover" he seems to be in a way better shape than at the end of the manga, probably trains, not as much as he used to, but definitely keeps himself in movement. I like to imagine that perhaps he lost the extremely defined six-pack, and now he has more of a softer four-pack, and as you say, it's a bit softer at the edges. I don't know, hehehe, the idea of him picking up maybe his kids with just one arm, all together while he has a bit less defined abs, seems homely and sexy to me.
Kisses!

Wrath (Fluff Version)
Levi Ackerman x Reader
**Genre: Fluff **Note: Reader is not gendered **Key: Y/N- Your Name Colors: Levi, YN (Talking) **Word Count: 522
Levi Ackerman is what many would call frightening. He was on the shorter side but if anything, that only added to his intimidating demeanor. Everyone knew not to cross him and when they did his punishments were by far the most horrible of anyone’s. Luckily as long as you did as you were told and kept everything perfectly clean, he wasn’t bad. Honestly, he wasn’t a bad guy once you got down to it. He had just been through a lot.  Levi was your captain and for the most part you were a good soldier and had been one of the few people to have not had to bear his wrath. You quite liked Levi and as far as people go, and he tolerated you more than most. It helped that you found him to be quite attractive. You would never admit it to anyone, but you had a bit of a crush on your captain. Knowing Levi, he didn’t do relationships. He only had one goal, to slay every titan. So, you buried your feelings and kept everything on a professional level at least until today. Today you had been slacking off during training and Levi was quick to notice. After training Levi confronted you and demanded some extra one on one training during dinner as your punishment. You were just grateful it wasn’t stable duties. Those were the worst. When the time came you went to the training field where Levi was already waiting for you. “So, you finally show up.” “I’m still five minutes early captain.” Levi gave you a small tch and training began. Not long into training Levi could see you weren’t really trying and decided to talk to you. Talking didn’t seem to work and you seemed unbothered. He decided to take you on with hand-to-hand combat instead, and within moments you were pinned under him on the ground. “Trying to scare me by overpowering me huh captain. Too bad I’m not scared of you.” “ Oh is that so? Well then why is your heart beating so fast?” You suddenly noticed just how close the two of you were, you could feel his breath fan you face as he spoke. Without thinking you say, “Well because you’re cute.”. Shocked neither of you moved or said anything. After what felt like an eternity Levi spoke. “Y/N… you like me?” Blushing and being unable to look him in the face, you reply. “Um... Yes, I have a crush on you Levi. Also, would you mind getting off.” After quickly getting up and helping you up Levi finally said what you always wanted to hear. “It’s crazy, for so long I’ve only had one goal. I always block out feelings do to always losing the people I care for most, but you you’re the exception. I like you too Y/N. But if you wouldn’t mind could we take this slow?” “Of course, Levi!! I’m just so happy you feel the same way. And I promise I won’t let this get in the way of the main goal, saving humanity.” You two happily walked to grab dinner after that.
**Note: I was trying something new out with this story and the talking lines being color coded and bold. LMK what y'all think of that or if you'd prefer I just left it normal.

“What are you doing?” Levi mutters tiredly, his words broken slightly by the sleep he had just woken up from.
“Nothing.” You answer back softly and aimlessly as you mindlessly traces his back, with a soft smile, your pointer finger gently smoothing over each back dimple and muscle.
Levi lets out a little sleepy huff as your words, closing his eyes once again as your slow and steady finger movements over his back lull him back to sleep.
He’ll never tell you but these little things you do like tracing the muscles (and dimples, which he doesn’t believe he has) on his back, or playing with fingers under the table or combing your fingers through his hair, are his favorite calming methods.
You existing already just relaxes him, but these little things you do to him just makes his entire body melt and his heart flutter.
These little mindless moments are his favorite.

Post War Levi as a dad
Titans never scared him. People never scared him. Getting hurt never scared him. Losing all he owned never scared him. Losing you and his daughter though? It terrified him.
So, when you said you needed to go into town for a few things, he was very scared. The two of you were joined at the hip. You helped him so much and loved him, scars and all. Ever since he got hurt in the war and was confined to a wheelchair most of the time, he thought love was never meant for him, but then you came walking into his life.
Levi felt strong before, but the war made him feel weak. When you walked into his life full of love, he felt unstoppable. After you had your daughter with Levi, he felt even stronger. His daughter adored him and always smiled at him. The scars made him think he'd be called a monster and make her cry, but she loved him with everything she had. Levi loved his daughter so much, he would kill for her and you.
While you were gone he was taking care of Kuchel, who was an adorable two years old. Both Levi and Kuchel missed you terribly, but it was only a bit of shopping you needed so you asked for the two to just stay at home, play and have some fun. You'd left a pot of tea, snacks and juice.
Levi was sitting in his wheelchair in the garden while his daughter was sitting on her blanket and playing with her toys. He smiled fondly at his daughter as she wiggled and moved her toys around.
Kuchel looked over at Levi and laughed. "Dada!"
Levi smiled brightly. "I'm right here. Daddy's here."
She stood up carefully and walked over to him. "Mama?"
"She's gone on an adventure. She'll be back soon."
She stared at him before nodding. "Mama, go."
He chuckled. "Yes, mama go." He watched her walk to her blanket and sit down. "Such a sweetheart."
He relaxed in his chair and adjusted the blanket on his lap. He gazed a moment down the path and wished you'd appear. Levi struggled to be without you. He never knew deep love could do this to a person, but he was absolutely infatuated with you.
"Ah!"
Levi looked over at his daughter to see she had fallen over. "Kuchel?"
She sat back to show she had a cut on her cute knee. Her eyes filled with tears. "Dadaaaaa."
Levi shot out of his chair and limped over to his daughter. "I'm coming! Daddy's coming!" He scooped her up into his arms. "I've got you." He limped inside the house and sat her on the kitchen counter. "Let me look." He moved her dress as she whimpered. "It's just a tiny cut." He sighed. "You're okay."
Kuchel sniffed. "Ow."
He kissed her forehead. "I know, ow." He picked her up again and grabbed the first aid kit you and he always kept topped up. He raced back outside and sat with her on the blanket. "Let's fix you up."
Kuchel rubbed her tears. "Dada."
He cleaned her knee up. "You're so very brave."
She hummed. "Yes."
He smiled at her. "You'll have a little scare, like daddy." He pointed to one on his arm. "Like this."
She touched the scare. "Mm." She looked at her knee. "Dada." She giggled. "Like dada."
He nodded. "That's right, like dada." He put a small patch on it and then wrapped it up. "There, all patched up."
She patted it. "Dada done."
He hummed a laugh. "Yes, all done."
She stood up and walked over to him. She climbed onto him and sat on his lap. "Hug."
Levi wrapped his arms around his daughter. "I'm here."
"Well." Both Levi and Kuchel looked over at you. You smiled brightly. "What a lovely thing to return to."
Kuchel gasped. "Mama!"
You giggled. "Hello."
Levi's eyes lit up as he shouted your name. "My darling!"
You walked over. "Hello, handsome." You placed your bag down before sitting on the blanket and kissed your husband and daughter. "Everything go okay?"
Levi adjusted Kuchel. "She had a tiny fall, but she's all patched up and she was so brave."
You cupped her face and kissed her nose. "My good sweet little girl." You sighed before kissing Levi. "You must have been so worried."
"I was panicked. I missed you. I wanted you. But, I acted fast and she's all better."
You cuddled up to Levi. "Such a wonderful dad and husband."
He puffed out his chest a little. "Thank you. I love you so much. I love you both."
You kissed his cheek. "Love you too."

"Coffee? This shit's expensive."
You reached for the packet that was sitting on top of the desk, surprised. Coffee was for rich nobles, not for soldiers with meager pay. Levi swatted at your hand.
"Don't touch my shit."
"What?" You took back your hand, pouting at him. "I was just saying."
Levi shot a glare at you, irritated. "Why don't you just shut up and go back to your work? My possessions are none of your business."
You groaned, eyes flicking to the empty papers in front of you that you were supposed to write reports on. "But I've been working for hours. My fingers hurts. Let me take a break."
"Stop being dramatic.
"I'm not being dramatic. You're being dramatic." You mumbled, again reaching for the package. He didn't try to stop you this time. He only glanced, eyebrows furrowing in annoyance, then going back to working. You were stubborn as fuck and he had learnt long ago telling you not to do something only inspired you to do the opposite, specially when you realized it pissed him off.
"Where the heck did you even get this?" You flip the packet, eyes widening at the price. It wasn't just expensive, it was super expensive. Levi sighed.
"Must you be so nosy all the damn time?"
"Yes." You nod, eager to know. You weren't going to let it go until you got answers. You were stubborn that way. And his unwillingness only made you all the more interested.
Or maybe you just loved pissing him off. It was amusing in a way.
Your crude captain barely ever showed emotions, so you'll take what you get. Even if the only emotions he has the capacity to display is annoyance and frustration.
Getting him riled up was perhaps, the highlight of your day. Only source of entertainment ment in the four walls of this boring facility.
What made it all better was, he'd grumble, he'd complain, he'd spew curses under his breath, but he'd still let you stick around. And he'd rather die than admit it, but it made you think that perhaps, he didn't find you as 'unpleasant' as he says he does after all.
"I didn't get it." He responded irritatedly, eyes on the papers.
"Huh?" You tilted your head, not satisfied. "What do you mean? What, this packet just grew legs and started walking and came all the way up over here? Plus, I didn't think you even like coffee. I only ever saw you drink tea–"
"You talk too much."
"Okay but," You ignored his little snide remark. "No, but this is premium quality and you haven't even opened it yet. Why'd you get it of you won't have it?"
"I didn't get it." He repeated. "And I don't like coffee."
"Thought so." You nodded. That's also another reason you were surprised to see the packet. He loathed coffee, you knew. Even though the cheap shit served in the cafeteria was truly repulsive, you would chug it down without hesitation. And the face Levi made every damn time was worth it all. That's how you learnt the bitter captain surprisingly hated the bitter drink.
"So if you're not gonna have it, can I have some? Because I'm falling asleep."
"No. I can't stand the smell of it."
"Of course you don't." You scoffed. "You drink your tea just fine though. In my opinion, that tastes more horrible."
"I didn't bring you here to comment about my drink preferences."
"Volunteering. Because you have shit preferences and someone needs to let you know–"
"Do you ever shut up?"
"No." You grinned. "Where'd you get it captain?"
"If I tell you, will you shut up?" He looked up, exasperated.
You pretended to consider. "Perhaps."
He glared at you.
"Okay I might." You nodded. "No promises, but I might. Go on, tell me."
He stared at you skeptically, weighing his options of either answering your questions so that you'd let it go or smack you in the face with the heavy file. He was seriously considering the latter at this point.
Then he sighed.
"I just know this is gonna make this worse." He muttered. "If you must know, it was a gift."
"A gift?!" Your jaw dropped.
"Captain! Who gifted you something so expensive? Don't tell me you have a secret lo-"
"Get your mind out of the gutter." He snapped, cutting you off before you could say it.
"Okay." You raised your hand in mock surrender. "Okay. No secret lovers got it. Who was it then?"
He pinched his nose bridge closing his eyes. Bracing himself for the shit you were going to give him after what he's going to say next.
"Some random Garrison Regiment Squad leader I think. Captain sova or shiva or something of that sort. Carried some heavy loads for her and then she got all soppy and grateful and wanted to express her thanks, despite my insistence that I despised coffee." He explained, ignoring the change on your expression with every word. Dear walls, he can practically hear the screws turning in your head.
"...no way." You gaped at him.
"How expensive is this shit anyway?" He reached for the packet, curiosity poking him at the genuine disbelief in your face.
"50$?" His eyes widened, brows raising. He had no idea gratitude for helping out was worth that much.
"You're just noticing it now?!" You were absolutely appalled.
"I told you I have no interest towards coffee." He said defensively.
"But– how could you not?"
"Because it's insignificant?"
"It's–" You weren't sure whether you should laugh or cry. "Have you heard of the term, 'curiosity'?"
"I simply don't care. I have way too much in my plate to sit around and observe the price of a coffee package. Have I mentioned that I loathe coffee?"
"Jeez, it was a gift. You could at least pretend to care."
He only raised an eyebrow.
"I mean..you might not have a lot of interest in coffee," You said. "But she sure sounds as if she had much interest in you."
"She? The captain?" Levi furrowed his brows, clueless.
"Yes?!" You were even more confused to see his confused expression. "Who else would I talk about?"
He shook his head. "You're misunderstanding. She was just grateful."
"Grateful because you helped her heave heavy things? So she pays you back with 50$?"
Levi pressed his lips together, considering your words. Now that he thinks about it... no it's just you making the situation more than it is.
" .... How am I to know what she was thinking?" He said finally.
You rolled your eyes. "Well.." You asked after a while. "Did she try to express her gratitude in..any other way?"
"You're not gonna drop this, are you?"
"Are you kidding?"
"Of course you won't, you nosy little shit." He sighed. "She sent me a letter last monday."
You almost fell out of your chair. "You're telling me this now?!" You demanded. "What did she say?" Half of your body was practically on the desk, you were so leaning forward so much in excitement
"You're hopeless." He shook his head at the gleam in your eyes. "Not everything is drama. She only thanked me and asked if she could treat me to dinner some night."
It was how he said that with a straight face that got you. The lack of interest, the blank expressions, it all added up.
You sat back down in silence as you realized that he wasn't really trying to deny anything because he was flustered.
He simply had no fucking idea.
"Captain. Just..how dense are you?" You asked softly, almost in awe. How a man like him could be so clueless you had no idea.
"Watch your mouth, brat."
"No offence meant." You said casually, setting his irritated words aside, too invested to give a fuck. "But did you say yes?"
"To what?"
"The dinner proposal? What else?"
"Of course not." He looked surprised you even considered the idea. "Do you have any idea how busy I am? And it's annoying. She's acting as if I saved her life and now she owes me a life debt."
You internally sent words of sympathy to the unfortunate woman. Girlie couldn't have picked a worse person to flirt with.
"Oh poor her."
"What poor her?"
"Captain. Do you seriously...not realize that she..asked you out..?"
He stared at you for a few seconds, ears growing red. "Bullshit." He muttered.
It took every bit of your effort to hold back the laugher bubbling in you. It was already difficult enough to keep a straight face. He looked so embarrassed it was hilarious.
You wondered how many girls had ever flirted with him like this and he had no fucking idea, probably shook it off thinking they were just being nice. How many hearts has he broken without even realizing it?
"Well, was she pretty at least?"
He shot an incredulous look. "I can't even remember her name, and you think I memorized her face?"
"Huh. Fair enough."
A giggle escaped you despite your hard efforts to hide your amusement. That seemed to have embarrassed him more.
"Don't laugh. There's nothing funny here."
"Oh if only you knew exactly how hilarious it is." You grinned. "I'm like two seconds away from losing it."
"I will hit you if you don't stop laughing."
You pursed your lips, the corner of your mouths still quirking up.
"Captain."
"No." He cut you off. He was tired. He was embarrassed. He was flustered. He had zero desire left to talk with you and he was fully aware nothing that ever comes out of your mouth is pleasant.
But of course you ignored him.
"Have you ever even been on a date?"
He groaned, cursing internally. This is the last thing he wanted to talk about today.
"You have no sense of privacy." He hissed.
"No. I'm serious. Because that seems highly unlikely." You continued, yet again paying no mind to his pissed remarks.
"I'm too busy."
"Nah." You shook your head. "You're too clueless. You wouldn't be able to tell if someone likes you even if they held up a sign with huge red block letters spelling out the words 'I love you!'"
"Stop."
Yeah, you weren't sure how much longer you could hold that laugh back.
"You've never been on a date in this... I don't know, how old even are you– like twenty something years of your life?"
"I'm thirty. And no."
"Holy fuck, you're old." You exclaimed, caught off guard by the information. You knew he was older than you, just didn't think he was in thirties already. He looks so...young.
"No I'm not."
"Yes you are."
"It's not that old. I'm hardly a couple years older than you."
"Still old." You shrugged. "But damn, you're life's as dry as sandpaper."
"You do realize my life revolves around fighting titans? So excuse me if I didn't give romance a chance because I was too busy trying not to die." He mumbled.
You spluttered a cough trying to hide the sound of the laughter choking you. He had looked away when he said the words, but the tips of his ears were so, so red.
Never in your life have you seen him this flustered.
"Can you shut up now and let me work?"
"Aren't you charming?" You raised an eyebrow.
Then you paused.
"Say, captain, let me help you." You suddenly said. You couldn't resist the urge to fuck with him a little more. You'd be damned if you didn't.
"With... what?"
You grinned. "Dating. I could be your official love life assistant."
The reaction was exactly as you thought it'd be. His face was absolutely flushed.
"Fuck off."
"Now, that's just mean." You pretended to be offended. "Tip 1: you don't speak to ladies like that."
He stood up without saying a word, walking around the table and stopping besides you. Then with two fingers, he flicked your forehead. Hard.
"Ouch." You cursed under your breath, rubbing your temple and turning to look at him as he walked towards the door. "What was that for?"
"Youre insufferable." He said as he twisted open the door.
"Why thank you." You mumbled as he slammed the door shut behind him. "You're extremely lovable as well, beloved captain."
Levi leaned against the door, the corners of his mouth twitching up the slightest as he heard your laugher through the door.
Oh, but here's the the thing Levi hadn't told you.
That maybe, maybe, the reason he never even considered the approaches of the admirers, or even sometimes realize their intention wasn't because he was clueless. Maybe it's because he barely ever processes the words or the actions, think about it for a second for the situations to make sense.
That maybe, he had no intention to let anyone new in his life because he already had you. What more could he possibly want?
How could he? Not when you existed in his life, with your stupid face and your stupid voice and your stupid, stupid, stupid laugh.
Maybe, just maybe.
He doesn't notice faces much because yours never leave his mind.

His eyes fluttered open, before they instinctively squinted shut in exhaustion. He was quickly forced awake, however, as you shook him, your sweet and enthusiastic voice in his ear.
“Get up, Levi! The sunrise is so pretty today—the birds are chirping and the clouds are pink!”
He groaned, speaking in a low and guttural voice, “You know what else is pretty? Sleep.”
With that, he rolled over onto his side, his toned back facing you. You looked at him with an over-exaggerated pout. “Woe is me!” You whined, before collapsing dramatically onto the shared bed as though you were a dainty damsel.
He grunted in response and turned his head to look at you judgmentally, the fatigue evident on his face. “Woe is not you. Get up.”
You let out a dramatic whine, reaching out to tug on the sheets draped over his hips. “Please? Just for today!”
“I love you, but please stop whatever it is you're doing.”
“Not until you get up and watch the sunrise with me. Hurry up, or we'll miss it!” You urged him, nudging his back.
With an exasperated sigh, he turned around to face you, running his fingers through your hair. He had an irritated and sleepy look on his face, yet the fondness in his eyes was unmistakable. “Will you let me sleep if I watch it with you for a few minutes?”
You nodded eagerly, your lips spreading into a grin as you sensed his caving in. He pinched the bridge of his nose the way that he always did whenever he was about to give in to your pleas. You threw your arms around his neck, pulling him closer whilst you giggled gleefully and peppered his face with sweet kisses. “Thank you, baby~! I love you so much!”
He stayed silent as you smothered him in kisses, until he swatted you away like an insect. Despite his feigned annoyance, the soft pink that dusted his cheeks spoke volumes otherwise. He reluctantly sat up, running a hand down his face. Before he could even fully wake up, though, you yanked him off the bed, causing him to stumble and give you a half-hearted glare. “I'm coming, I'm coming, God...”
You squealed excitedly, dragging him to the window where you had drawn the curtains. You were right, the view was absolutely gorgeous. The entire sky was painted a coral-pink color, fading into a cerulean where the night was pushed away by the sunlight. The sun was just peeking out over the horizon, casting a golden glow onto every building and object in sight. There were a few people who were already up and walking down the streets, beginning their day by going to work—or perhaps feeding their pets. A couple puffs of clouds, dusted a pretty shade of pink, dotted the sky. The pair of you watched in awe; yet, every so often, he found his gaze being dragged back to your face.
You never failed to make his heart skip a beat. Your beautiful features, enhanced by the clear joy sparkling in your eyes, was a sight he would never tire of. He could care less about the sunrise. He only wanted to sit and admire you instead.
You crawled onto the bay window bench, tugging him along so that he sat with you. Snuggling up to him, you watched the sunrise with that sweet smile he'd always been fond of.
“It's beautiful, isn't it, Levi?”
He pulled you closer. “Hm...”

Levi on a blind date pls 🙏🏻
i had tew much fun writing this. unfortunately, i do think there will be a part two… but that’s up for you to decide.
so embarrassing  /  levi x reader
wc: 3.4k
levi was tired.
“oh come on levi, i really think you’ll like yn!” hanji exclaims.
“i’m not going on a shitty blind date just because you think i’ll like your friend,” he mutters, taking a sip of his tea while sending a glare her way.
“you don’t know it’s going to be shitty,” the brunette says, trying to be convincing in such a way that she thinks just might work, “plus, i’ll even pay for your dinner!”
“why are you talking to me like you’re trying to meet a quota?” he raises a brow before dismissing her, “it’s not happening.”
hanji whines dejectedly, her body deflating in such a way that makes levi want to scoff. instead, he opts to take another sip of his tea.
“okay… well if me not paying for your meal isn’t enough for you to say yes, how about we make a deal?”
levi wants so badly for her to just leave him the hell alone, but he can’t help that his curiosity is piqued with how hard she’s trying to sell this.
“i’m listening.”
“yay!” she yells before murmuring, “except… i didn’t really think this through.”
“you want to make a shitty deal but you don’t even know what it is,” levi inquires, “you’re beyond saving.”
“ouch! anyways though, it was going to be something along the lines of if it goes terribly then i am forever in your debt and also you get one favor from me redeemable at anytime no matter how inconvenient for me. as for the second…”
“let me guess, it goes well and you get bragging rights or… whatever your deranged and deluded mind comes up with.”
“precisely! you’re so smart, levi!”
“spare me,” he mutters, “but fine, not that i need any favors from you. don’t go thinking it’s going to be a whole thing.”
at least he’ll get a free meal and maybe a good conversation. not that he was the best at conversations anyways.
“oh wonderful! i set you up a reservation tonight at six! it’s fancy, so wear something classy.”
his eye twitches with a vengeance because of course she already made a reservation.
unbelievable.
“i’m going to beat your ass when this is over.”
“oh, i don’t know about that one, yn’s hot.” hanji grins, wiggling her eyebrows.
levi rolls his eyes, “eat shit.”
dressed in a black suit with a black silk undershirt, levi waits for you outside of the restaurant, an upper class italian fusion place that had him wondering how the hell his idiot friend could afford such an extravagant restaurant.
he leaned against the wall beside him, checking his phone to see the time was 5:55pm. hanji had insisted on him getting there early and he has no doubts she hounded you as well with all her talk of, “places like this don’t mess around! both people have to be there and on TIME!”
he hears heels coming towards him, but figures it’s just another patron walking inside before he sees two black heels stop in front of him, “excuse me, are you levi?”
he freezes slightly before looking up from his phone to drag his eyes up your figure, meeting your gaze in a way that has him feeling significantly warmer.
damn. that’s all he thinks before he recovers the best he can, “yeah. you yn?”
your lips twitch. “that’s me. i would say i’m glad not to be catfished, but it’s not like i saw a picture of you beforehand.”
he can’t help the slight chuckle that arises. “well, glad we’re on the same boat there.”
you let out a quiet laugh before you pull your phone out, and he eyes your manicured nails as you check the time, placing your nail just underneath the numbers that read 5:58pm, “good thing we were on the same boat about timing as well. should we head in?”
“yeah, we should.” he pushes off from the wall before walking with you and opening the door. “after you.”
the way you hold your gaze on him as you thank him before entering is not lost on levi, and he quickly unbuttons the top of his shirt to relieve the tight feeling in his throat.
hanji was full of shit when she said you were hot. you were absolutely breathtaking.
“i’ll just do a paloma, please,” you say to the waitress, “and a water as well, no ice.”
“of course, miss,” the blonde haired woman who had introduced herself as annie nodded, turning her head to look at the male across from you, “and for you, sir?”
“an old fashioned, please. neat.”
“perfect. i’ll get your drinks in right away then.”
“i don’t think i’ve met someone who drinks a neat old fashioned.” you claimed, resting your chin in your palm.
“i’ve always preferred my drinks that way, i hate watered down alcohol,” he admits. “do you usually get fruitier drinks?”
you shrug, “honestly, i take a gamble everytime, i don’t like sticking to one thing.”
he raises a brow, “that’s a bold move when it comes to alcohol.”
you laugh, “i don’t drink often so i guess it’s my way of trying everything,” you pause slightly with a slight smile, “i actually played it safe today. paloma’s are one of my favorites.”
he tries so hard not to stare, but he doesn’t want to seem like he’s avoiding your gaze. he’s never been intimidated like this, people don’t usually make him this uneasy… but there’s immediately something about you that makes him nervous. then, as if all your talk of drinks spoke them into existence, annie comes back with your drinks at a meticulous speed.
you both thank her, after which she asks if you would like to start your meal with an appetizer, to which you both hastily decide on the oysters and grilled octopus. she takes her leave once again and you take a sip of your drink, making a pleased sound through your closed lips.
“so, how did four-eyes convince you to show up?” he can’t help it, he’s curious- even more curious on how hanji is friends with someone like you.
“well, i was fully intending to deny her until the end of time, but… i don’t know, maybe i’d call it an instinct,” you answer, “though, the free food was a pretty big plus for me. you?”
he can’t help but feel at a loss, and he pauses for a moment before willing himself to speak, careful with how he chooses his next words (something that he usually never cares about), “yeah, an instinct is what i’d call it too.”
he doesn’t miss the way your eyes light up, and this is the first time he’s seen you give him a full smile. jesus, how the fuck did hanji find you?
“so, levi,” you lean back with your arms folded, “cats or dogs.”
he blinks. “can’t say i’m privy to either.”
you nod, “too much for you?”
“too filthy,” he answers, “in terms of cleanliness, i would prefer a cat, though.”
the corner of your mouth twitches up, and he feels like he’s playing the price is right or some shit like that with the way he wants to impress you.
he thinks you’re pleased with his answer as you respond, “i prefer cats too. dogs have a smell, it makes me feel gritty. i’m assuming you’re big on cleanliness then?”
he nods, “i don't tolerant dirty surroundings.”
“ah.” you say before covering your mouth with a discreet giggle, and he can’t help the frown that settles on his face.
“something funny?”
“not at all,” you waved your arms in an x-like motion while shaking your head. “it’s just that’s the only thing hanji told me about you.”
he scoffs, leaning back in his seat to fold his arms, “of course she did. she’s the messiest pig i know.”
he should really tone down the abrasiveness, he thinks, but you don’t seem to mind as you let out a laugh. “she does seem to leave a tornado behind her everywhere she goes.”
levi chuckles, and you ask him another question. “now i’m curious about what she’s told you about me.”
oh.
well.
“she said you’re nice.” he pauses, looking at the table before meeting your eyes again. “and that you’re hot.”
you cover your face with your hand, trying to hide the blush of embarrassment that paints itself that brushes across your cheeks. “ah, that sounds like her.”
he swallows, maybe he shouldn’t have said that… whatever, it’s not like he really said anything wrong. before he can think too much more, annie approaches with your appetizers, placing them on the small table with a practiced ease. “have you had a chance to decide on your main courses?”
levi decides on the smoked salmon, not recognizing half of the things that were on the menu, while you order the mezzelune. annie tells you both the main courses will be brought out upon the finishing of your appetizers, to which you both nod in agreement.
he notices you don’t say anything after annie leaves. “are you embarrassed?”
you shrug, seemingly more shy now, yet still exuding the confidence you’ve shown as you cut off a piece of octopus. “well, i think she could’ve at least told you something about me personally.”
“well, now’s your chance.”
“hmm…” you place your hands in your lap, looking up in thought, trying to think of something that would make you seem cool in front of possibly the hottest guy you’ve ever been on a date with, “i dj sometimes.”
levi’s eyebrows raise. “like at kids birthday parties?”
“clubs,” you grin, “you know heavenly?”
“i’ve heard of it,” taking a bite of the octopus on his plate, he thinks he puts two and two together when he asks you, “is that where you met hanji?”
you look at him surprised. “yes, actually. how’d you know?”
“levi, i just met the coolest bitch i’ve ever met like, ever,” hanji slurs over the phone, “you need to come to heavenly with meeeeeee.”
“levi, this is erwin. hanji just spilled her drink all over the dj’s setup. please come pick us up.”
“just a hunch,” he says. “so, you don’t drink a lot, but you play at clubs?”
you giggle, reaching over to grab an oyster just as he does, your hands barely grazing, “that seems to be the case… you should stop by the next time i decide to play.”
“you sure you won’t get nervous?” he asks this mainly to tease you, but his voice hides any sort of flirtation.
you seem to catch on, though.
“i don’t get nervous,” you bluff, eyes locking onto his before you look down at the oyster sitting on your plate, “it’s been a long time since i’ve had these… eat one with me?”
he nods, picking his up, and the two of you lean your heads back to let the oyster slide down your throats.
the rest of the night is one for the books for levi, seeing as, when the food comes out, you both have to remember to eat in the midst of your conversation. you don’t seem to mind his sarcastic humor.  in fact, it seems you adopt that humor too as you respond to him. he doesn’t think he’s had a date go this smoothly, let alone a blind one (in which case, this is his first blind date but you get the idea, right?). it’s rare for levi to go out like this, especially with someone as radiant as you. he truly thinks you’re the most beautiful person he’s laid eyes on. not only that, but your intellect, your wit, the way you carry yourself…
you’re completely his type.
at this point, long after the both of you finish your meals, he has you giggling, albeit a little bit drunkly.
“this is going to be so embarrassing if you’re not even slightly drunk right now.” you say, leaning your cheek into your palm, face hot as you look at the piercing man in front of you.
he’s not, but he assures you the alcohol is doing it’s job- and he’s not completely lying. he does notice that his body feels significantly… warmer. “yeah, i’m feeling it too right now.”
you smile, “you’re lying, but it’s ok, i’ll let it slide.”
“oh yeah? how generous of you.” he chuckles dryly, hooking his finger around his collar to let his neck breathe.
“i know, right,” you say before shifting your gaze, “sorry for being such a lightweight.”
“don’t apologize,” he says, tentatively placing a warm hand on top of yours, “i’m still enjoying myself.”
he can’t tell if it’s the alcohol, maybe it’s the lighting, but your face reddens tenfold at his comment as you quickly flit your eyes from where his hand rests on yours and back up to his eyes. “i’m glad i’m not the only one.”
god, if you keep looking at me like that i don’t know what i’ll do, he thinks before leaning forward in his chair, “you wanna get out of here?”
-☆
after the two of you get the bill situated thanks to hanji’s generosity (and possibly a hint of desperation?), he offers to walk you home after you tell him you live only a few blocks away. you shake your head and tell him he really doesn’t have to but he cuts you off with a swoonworthy, “i want to.”
he didn’t want to seem like a creep offering, but he would never be able to forgive himself if he just let you walk away. you seemed to be more sober now- not that you had been all that drunk in the first place, but the flush on your face seemed to erase itself the more you walked with him. the two of you walk in a comfortable silence, the brisk fall air surrounding you both. like clockwork, you start to shiver, crossing your hands to rub your elbows, “bad day to wear something sleeveless.”
it’s seriously like the universe was setting him up, and he immediately takes off the blazer of his suit to wrap around you, “it’s not the best but it should keep you warmer than that.”
you blush, oh my god it smells like him… get a grip, right now. “thank you, levi.”
“don’t mention it.” he waves you off, placing his hands into his pockets as he walks next to you, “your feet must be freezing.”
you chuckle, looking down at the cold leather of your heels, “just a little bit. lucky for me, we’re almost there.”
he nods, noticing the way his heart twinges at the thought of having to say goodbye to you so early. though, that twinge is quickly overshadowed when he feels your pinky reach from underneath his jacket to touch his wrist in a ghostlike manner, like you were testing the waters to see if he’d bite.
his hand slowly unsheathes from his pocket to meet your cold one, his thumb rubbing the back of your hand at a futile attempt to bring some life back to it, “holding my hand already?”
“you don’t seem to mind,” you tease, “if it helps you feel better, it’s just a couple places down.”
“tch, you’re acting as if i would hold your hand out of pity.”
you laugh, “well, i’m glad you’re not then!”
he continues to hold your hand as you lead him up the steps, not letting go even as you turn around. he eyes the building with a raised brow, “so if i start djing do you think i’ll be able to afford something like this?”
you grin, “maybe if you try hard enough you’ll be able to afford multiple.”
he gives you another dry chuckle, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear, “i guess i’ll need to practice then.”
“indeed.” you giggle, welcoming the warmth of his hand as it grazes your face before he drops it to his side, “i had a really good time tonight, levi.”
he doesn’t know why he avoids your gaze at first, but he nods, “i did too, yn.”
is it bad how bad i want to kiss him right now, you shake your head internally, hell no, you’re going to scare him off. what happened to no kissing on the first date? did all that go out the window just because he’s hot-
“well, i should get going,” you say, trying to hide the conflict in your voice, “let’s do this again?”
he nods, “i’d like that.”
the tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife, and he so badly wants to kiss you, especially with the way your eyes flick down to look at his lips before you look back at him and smile.
“well, i guess i’ll see you then.”
he almost pouts when you remove his jacket from your shoulders, handing it to him with the same small smile you’ve had. he takes it with one hand resting it on his side as you turn around to type your code in.
fuck it.
 “hey.”
you turn around quizzically, “yeah-”
suddenly, you’re gently pressed against your door, a strong hand around your waist and warm minty breath tickling your face, his cobalt eyes staring fiercely into yours. you swallow so thickly you make a gulping sound, your mouth dry at how close his face is to yours. he looks at you, then to your lips, then back up- a pattern the both of you seemed to have followed multiple times throughout the night.
his voice is low, and it does something you can’t explain to your whole body as he trails off, “can i…”
“please.”
his lips are on yours within seconds, your mouths molding together perfectly as he presses you into the door more, the arm around your waist pulls you closer before he moves his hand to run down the back of your thigh to lift it over his hip. you slide your hands up his abdomen, feeling the tightness of his torso before you rest them on his chest.
of course he has to be sculpted by fucking zeus himself, you sigh into his mouth.
you’re so weak.
it’s not long before his tongue makes its way into your mouth, exploring it as if he was on a mission. you can’t help the small moan that emits from you as your tongue battles with his. he wins of course, and you feel a wave of sadness wash over you as he gently pulls away, his hand going from your thigh to your hip, “you should get inside, your ass is freezing.”
“it does feel pretty chilly down there.” you can’t help but to laugh out loud, “thanks for looking out.”
“don’t mention it.”
“text me when you get home?”
“i’ll consider it.”
you make a small hmph sound, “alright. i look forward to your text telling me how brave you were for making it home safely.”
“you’re an ass.” he scoffs, but his eyes have a fond look to them as he gives your hip a squeeze, “i’ll talk to you later.”
you smile, giving him a peck on his cheek before pulling away, “good night, levi.”
“good night, yn.”
not long after your nightly routine, you get a text. laying in your bed, you unlock your phone to see a multitude of notifications from hanji that you decide to ignore for now. instead, you smile giddily, laying on your back to open the message from your stoic yet charming date.
levi: home safe. am i brave now?
you laugh, sending him a quick response before covering your face with your pillow.
meanwhile, in the comfort of his own bed, levi reads your response with the faintest hint of a smile. he lays down on his back, rubbing his tired eyes when a fear-filled thought enters his mind.
he was never going to hear the end of it from that freak. he sighs, staring at his ceiling as he thinks maybe it would be okay so long as you kept your interest in him. maybe the two of you really had a shot beyond just being a blind date to each other. he lets out another breath before closing his eyes.
i can’t believe that shithead was right.

"Y/N and Levi bond over shared underground past, leadership struggles, and the silent weight of responsibility."
----
Part 2: Whispers of the Underground.....
The next morning, the garrison bustled with activity. The early drills echoed through the fort, soldiers moving in synchronized formations, their blades slicing through the air. Y/N L/N, captain of the Wall Rose Garrison, stood at the edge of the training grounds, her arms crossed as she observed. Her sharp eyes caught every misplaced step, every hesitation, every sign of weakness.
"Again," she barked, her voice cutting through the noise like a whip.
The recruits immediately reset, their faces lined with exhaustion but their movements becoming sharper. She didn’t relent—she couldn’t. The walls wouldn’t protect them forever, and out there, even the smallest mistake could mean death.
From the corner of her eye, Y/N spotted Levi leaning casually against a nearby wall, arms crossed, his ever-present stoic expression in place. His presence was both grounding and infuriating.
"You’re too hard on them," Levi said as he approached, his voice low but carrying an air of authority.
Y/N didn’t turn to face him. "They need to be ready."
"They also need to stay alive long enough to be useful," Levi countered, his tone flat but pointed.
A smirk tugged at Y/N’s lips, though she didn’t let it show. This was their dynamic—a constant push and pull. "I’m surprised you care."
Levi’s eyes narrowed slightly. "I don’t. But if they die, it makes our jobs harder."
Y/N finally turned to him, raising an eyebrow. "Always the charmer, Ackerman."
There was a flicker of amusement in his gaze, so quick she might have imagined it.
---
Later that day, Y/N found herself in the mess hall, sitting at a table with a few trusted officers. The conversation was light, a rare reprieve from the usual tension.
"So, Captain," one of the officers, Elias, began with a sly grin. "Is it true you once punched a Titan in the face?"
The table erupted in laughter, and Y/N rolled her eyes. "It’s a blade, not a fist. Stop embellishing."
"Come on, let us have this one," Elias teased.
Levi, who had silently joined them without anyone noticing, spoke up. "She’s too short to reach its face anyway."
The table fell silent for a moment before everyone burst into laughter. Y/N shot Levi a glare, though the corners of her mouth twitched in amusement.
"You’re hilarious," she said dryly.
Levi gave the faintest shrug. "Just stating the obvious."
---
As the day wore on, Y/N found herself wandering the quieter parts of the garrison. The distant sound of drills and conversations faded as she made her way to the secluded gardens—a place she often retreated to when she needed to think.
She sat on a bench, her elbows resting on her knees, her mind racing with thoughts she couldn’t shake. The weight of leadership, the constant threat of betrayal, and the memories of the underground—it all pressed down on her like a vice.
The sound of footsteps behind her broke her reverie. She didn’t need to turn around to know who it was.
"You always find the quiet spots," Levi said as he approached, his voice softer than usual.
"I grew up underground," Y/N replied without looking at him. "Quiet is rare there. You learn to appreciate it."
Levi sat down beside her, the silence between them comfortable. They didn’t need to speak—they never did. But today, Y/N felt the need to share something she usually kept buried.
"Do you ever think about it?" she asked quietly.
Levi’s gaze shifted to her, his expression unreadable. "The underground?"
She nodded. "The things we did to survive. The people we left behind."
Levi’s jaw tightened, and for a moment, Y/N thought he wouldn’t answer. But then he spoke, his voice low and filled with a rare vulnerability. "Every day."
Y/N looked at him, her eyes searching his face. She saw the same pain she felt reflected back at her, the scars that ran deeper than any physical wound.
"It’s why we do this," she said, her voice steady. "To make sure no one else has to go through what we did."
Levi nodded, his gaze fixed on the horizon. "That’s why we can’t let ourselves fall apart."
Y/N smiled faintly. "I guess that’s your way of saying I should stop brooding."
"Someone has to keep you in check," Levi replied, his tone light but his eyes serious.
For a moment, Y/N allowed herself to relax, the weight on her shoulders feeling just a little lighter. With Levi beside her, she felt like she could bear it—at least for another day.

should i add a backstory of y/n in the underground or not?! let me know if you want a part 3 😝🤓 bye lovess✌🏽

Happy Halloween III
Content: 1.6k words of the evening after trick or treating with your and Levi's daughter.
Not required: Part I /////// Part II
Tumblr media
"Happy Halloween! Have a good night!" You call out and wave to your friends from your front porch.
"Mama! Come in!" Your little girl calls from in the living room.
It's Halloween night and you and your husband Levi have recently returned home from a night out of trick or treating with your daughter and some family friends who are on their way home.
"Coming darling." You say and come back in, shutting the door and locking it.
"Boo!" You fake scream as she jumps at you as you turn, your husband standing close by with a smile.
"Oh! My wicked little witch!" You chuckle and poke her shoulder, referring to the costume she's picked this year.
"Our pretty little witch." Levi corrects you, taking her hat and broom.
She giggles and goes dancing around the room, calling out to the newest member of the family, a black cat that made it's way into your yard one day some months back and has been an indoor kitty ever since, after very little effort from you daughter in convincing you and Levi.
"There you are!" She picks him up and he mews at her happily.
"Just a few minutes then let's get you cleaned up." Levi says, taking the bag of candy that's been collected into the kitchen for inspection.
She's so attached to the cat, and he to her, that you know it was the right decision to let him stay.
"Anything good in there?" You come in too, looking through the bag.
Your little one comes in too and plops the cat onto the chair and looks at all the goodies with you.
"Did you have a nice time tonight?" Levi asks as you all sort through the candy.
"Yes daddy! I always have a good time with you and mommy and uncle Erwin!" She says of the family friend who you'd been with earlier, along with his wife and son.
The running joke between you is that one day your daughter would marry their son. Levi always shot it down just for the fact that his little princess would stay little forever in his eyes.
Heading fast to her preteen years, Levi is hanging on as long as he can. You are less worried about what will surely happen one day, and more worried about raising a teen girl in the future. You remember your own years, and Levi has no idea.
"Okay pumpkin, let's get you out of your costume." You say after sorting a little bit.
Levi puts the cat on the floor who scurries after her as she wanders to the bathroom. You follow to help remove the makeup and fake play nails.
Sure that she can undress herself after helping unfasten part of the outfit, you let her close the door to her room to get into pajamas and go to your room to do the same.
"Evening Mrs Ackerman." Levi comes into the room to get out of his day clothes too, coming over to pull you into a hug.
"Hello Mr Ackerman." You smile and hug him tight, resting your head on his chest as he sighs contently, both of you enjoying the moment after a noisy evening.
"I'm happy to be home." Levi says, kissing you head.
It had been fun, of course, but it is true you both enjoy the simple sounds of your little girls happy laughter as she chases her kitty around the house, much more then the excitement of the whole neighborhood out and about all at once. Thankfully it's not an everyday occurrence.
You both finish getting into pajamas and go meet your daughter in the living room. She's sitting on the couch, kitty on her lap, with a few pieces of candy, ready to be eaten.
"Oh, let's see what we have." You come sit on one side and Levi on the other. You already told her a couple pieces tonight is okay, and, the thoughtful girl she is, has included your favorites in the pile.
"Could we watch a movie?" She asks you hopefully.
"Well, it isn't a school night, so we can start one until we get tired." It will take a little more time to settle down anyway.
"I won't get tired!" She says excitedly with a slight bounce, making the cat adjust and blink up at her. She leans in to kiss his head and pet him and he settles right back down, purring loudly.
"How he was ever an outside cat, I'll never know." You chuckle.
After a couple tries you agree on a shorter movie and snack on your candy as it starts.
Levi takes all the candy wrappers and stands to go throw them in the trash. As he passes the couch back to his seat on the far side, he squeezes your shoulder adoringly.
You give him a sweet smile as he sits down and without words and a light in his eyes that's reserved only for the people in the room, you can feel how much he adores his family.
You know at one time Levi felt maybe he wasn't deserving of such a gift as a loving family. You try to tell him and show him all the time, and over the years, he finally stopped stressing that maybe this wouldn't be there one day, and now looks forward to waking up every morning with his family.
You mouth 'I love you' to him and he feels his heart skip a beat. He'll never tire of it.
Turning you attention back to the movie and hear your daughter yawn after just a few minutes.
"Let's get your teeth brushed, then we can keep watching." Levi says, gently removing the cat from her lap who is sleepy enough to just crawl right into the oval shaped cat bed on the floor by the coffee table.
It's apparent she isn't going to make it the whole movie now that things are more calm, and brushing teeth is a must.
You all head to the bathroom and brush. You and Levi are going to bed soon too.
"Want to finish the movie in the morning?" You ask once you're all finished.
But she opens her eyes wide and tells you she's not tired.
You hide a shared smile with Levi and go continue the movie, and as expected very soon your daughter can't keep her head up anymore and her head is falling forward.
"Come on you." Levi picks her up and you turn the tv off and follow behind as you both tuck her in.
"Daddy, read a chapter in my book." She mumbles as her head hits the pillow.
"Are you sure sweetie?" He asks, sitting on the edge of her bed as your hand him her current read.
"Please." She insists, though her eyes are closed.
She's old enough to read herself and will read with you or by herself at times, but still enjoys when you read to her, especially when she's sleepy.
So Levi takes out the bookmark of the shorter chapter book and begins reading a couple pages. While she falls asleep listening to her daddy's voice, you straighten up a few things around the room so you can listen too.
You love hearing him read these middle grade books that maybe you read way back when and he maybe missed out on due to some hardships.
He reads softly and closes the book just a page and a half in after seeing your daughter is asleep. You come over and hug him from behind and kiss his cheek as you watch her sleep for a few minutes before leaving the room quietly and heading back to your room.
Slipping into bed you snuggle up close and rest your head on his chest. His arms wrap around you right away and he rubs your back.
"Thank you." He says it a lot in these quiet moments when he's so thankful for you and your daughter and this life together that he loves so much.
"I love you so much sweetheart. You make us so happy." You kiss his chin and nuzzle into his chest.
"I love you too." He sighs and closes his eyes with a smile.
While Levi's unease of good things happening in his life has lessened over the years, he loves that you never stop reassuring him. He'll make you and your daughter happy for the rest of his days, just as you do for him.
"There's a lot of candy to get through." You mumble, making him chuckle.
"I'll bring some to work. Not the good stuff, that stays here." He notes.
"What do you think she'll want to be next year?" You ask as you listen to his heartbeat.
Next year is a long way off. Who knows what she'll be into then? And who knows when it will be the last year she does trick or treating and instead goes to a party.
"She could go as a popstar, as long as she's happy." And as long as the outfit isn't too adult, of course.
With the way she loves books, you wouldn't be surprised if she's a character in whatever her favorite is at that time. You can only imagine.
"Goodnight love." Levi says after a few minutes, feeling your body settle into his.
"Night." You say as your eyes close.
In the meantime, you'll all take all the costumes, trick or treating, movies and story time you can get together.

I love the idea in Holy Ground that Levi represents the female gaze so much.
Like in multiple occasions it's brought up that Levi is undeniably popular but it's always brought up by other people, never by him. Levi never goes around be like "oh yeah I've the bitches making lines". No no, he's extremely chill and reserved about it, from his past lovers to even his present romantic situation with YN. As Moblit said, any other dude would have had his mouth full of showing off laying with YN. But no Levi, not because he's  not proud, but because he doesn't feel the necessity to prove to no other man what he is capable of.
The idea is absurd for a guy like Mike and Erwin or the rest of the scouts men, both fitting the "male gaze" extremely well. As Mike say "why do women like a man under 1.80?!". Under their "I'm a dude, I'm tall and broad, I am what chicks want," or "I'm charismatic and outgoing tall blond guy almost in the peak of my professional career," they don't understand why girls are so interested in a "short, antisocial, poor dude,". However, even Zackly heard that Levi was extremely popular in the underground with the girls haha. What they don't understand is that Levi fits what woman value so much, a guy who took care of a girl, who is responsible and understanding, who protects children and those in need from the abuse from the government, an attentive lover who is more than willing to provide pleasure for his partner, strong and that radiates self confidence. Levi is the female gaze, that's why they love him.
The funniest part, most of the time he's not even trying. He's just himself and with his mind somewhere else, loyal to the bone to his partner.

Y/n: And would you say that there were any good things that happened to you in the underground city?
Levi: well let’s see, I got high with Furlan 2 times, but one time was an accident. I wone against this old man and got his Tee, that idiot thought I wanted his lady. And I fucked—
Y/n:?.. *brows slightly raised *
Levi: *…* everything up.. for my enemies with Furlan and Isabel.
Y/n: *smirk* Right, interesting levi.

"Mm."
You stared at your boyfriend. "Everything okay?"
Levi's brows furrowed. "Mm."
You smiled softly. "You know you can talk to me about anything, right?"
He released a long sigh. "Uh-huh."
"So?" Your head tilted slightly. "What is it?"
"I just..." He huffed. "Tch, fuck sake...I'm about as frustrating as not being able to shit for a month."
You laughed at Levi's joke. "That bad, huh? Take your time."
He pouted a little as a blush consumed his cheeks. "I ah...I would like to start using pet names."
You smiled at him. "Okay...honey."
Levi went bright red. "I...uh...mm."
"Darling? Sweetheart? Grumpy?" You slid closer to him on the sofa. "Love? Sexy? Bear? Sugar?"
Levi yanked you into his arms and whined. "Stop teasing me."
"I just want to know which one you prefer."
He squeezed you. "Love."
You played with his soft raven hair. "Mm, my love." You kissed the top of his head. "You are so sweet, my love."
