unfinished fic?

Okay, I have the start of what was to be the sequel to 'Between Destiny And Love' - a subverted soulmates story I wrote back in 2016.

The title for the sequel is Paved With Good Intentions and is from Steve's POV with Steve/Maria endgame (because this is me). It takes place post-Endgame and is...complicated.

It's only the first chapter - about 2500 words. Steve has an entire character journey to go through, and even once he does that, he's got to actually get Maria back - which is harder than one might think.

Do any of my readers want me to post it (on Ao3)? Would you read it? It's unfinished and I was thinking "maybe people want something to entertain them" and then, well, TODAY HAPPENED and now I'm wondering if my friends want something that's not really going to comfort them.

Anyway, it's just a thought. Let me know if you're interested.

I fully expected all my first lines to be rambling run-on sentences. I'm pleasantly surprised that they're mostly short; dare I even say, punchy. 😜 4/10 starting sentences had under 6 words; the remaining had nary a single semi-colon.

6/10 did not immediately reveal the narrator.

Only 3/10 started with dialogue. It would be interesting to do the last sentence version of this because I'm sure I almost always end a scene with speech/dialogue.

Does anyone else see other patterns?

So, I fixed the phone at the start cuz I admit the old one wasn't the most intuitive choice 😬. Also, this is my first time doing a walk animation, and of course, I'm not totally happy with how it turned out. But honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever be completely satisfied with anything I do but at least that mindset keeps pushing me to get better. Once again, all credits go to @highgroundanimations for letting me include all his bois in this project 🫶🏻 Good news: I only have Fox and Cody left to animate for the menu, and then I can finally start working on the game trailer. I’ve also completely remodeled my clone models, fixing all the mistakes (and the major inaccuracies lol), so now I can finally use them in Unreal. I’m a bit bummed I couldn’t animate this one with the new models, but I’ll make up for it in the trailer (or at least I’ll try, lol). Fox and Cody’s menu animations will use the new models, so yay for that (and they look so good i can't wait to show them) 😁
