When I left the capemaker’s shop in the last post, I exited into the odd OOB version of Aviary Village I saw months ago in beta when testing Season of Revival. It’s oddly unfinished, yet also has features that Aviary Village has never had, like the ruins behind the tower. Always fun to explore OOB!

The first upgrade! Scroll to see more It's hard to tell but it's the same cape from my last post, only, bigger and with a collar this time. I might need a model for the next phase. I felt the cape was too narrow and I wanted up see if I could make it better. Turned out pretty good and I'll keep going. Aha, it’s that time of year again! Where it’s warm enough my costume starts getting a little too sweaty for running around in. Last summer’s costume had a couple of ahh, drawbacks? So I can’t go with the “barely dressed” look again, aha~ So I’ll just be working out something slightly airier to take to my capemaker.

Tonight I've been helping my friend Sophie with her Belle OUAT cosplay XD making capes woo!! She has this amazing curtain fabric she's been itching to make into a hooded cloak and I said I would show her the patterns and what not :) now she will make the most perfect Belle from OUAT at LFCC :) #ouat #belle #capemaking #cosplaywip #cosplay #sewingbuddy

I snuck back into the room behind the capemaker’s shop. Nothing has changed downstairs since I last looked a couple months or so ago. Upstairs, the dummies modeling capes have been removed.

So, I snooped some more (updates change OOB too so more exploring!).

After the fifth task, the capemaker’s shop opens, and is connected to the hair salon. The now open door to the right leads to the capemaker’s front room.

The blocked off door in the rear leads to an unfinished two level back room. The lower level is mostly bare, with an arched doorway leading nowhere, a window into the front room, and some sit prompts that lead me to think this room is supposed to eventually be used for some sort of demonstration. The upper level had cape dummies. Go out the door, and you’re in that weird, dark, unfinished version of Aviary I experienced at the start of testing the season.
