Sorry, Vergilius for doubting you, Rodya, Hong Lu and Ryoshu turned out to be fascinating trio and I kinda hope to see their friendship more. (I also laughed after seeing how angry Outis was after not being chosen. I'm 40% sure that Verg didn't choose her because of how she keeps berating and arguing with him.

I am also glad that we finally giving attention to Rodya again and it was really interesting to see her in such condition, after her being paragon of self-worth in her own Canto. Also the fact that villain of event is a direct parallel to her? Chef kiss

ALSO Hong Lu giving us his lore and his trauma. His family sounds as awful as we thought. Genuinely, how many relatives tried to kill him in book?

By the way concept of how different time amount works in T Corp is both pretty cool and fucking terrifying.

Hurbert was a fun npc, I kinda enjoyed his yapping, however him wearing blue coat in the end and mentioning "star" made me wonder if he connected to Blue Team somehow.

Also that we sold him Distortion? Holly shit, Dias what the fuck, why are you allowing it.

My only problem with this event is how Don Quixote once again was reduced to comic relief. We are so close to her Canto, and that makes me nervous. I try to stay optimistic, but it's hard...

My only hope Warp Corp event at this point, but I guess it's a "me" problem.

Time killing time spoilers (aka i talk about my thoughts on the event)

Oh we eating excellent today. The mostly comedic tone i feel was a good thing to have after what happened in canto 6 (ishmael getting karma, the outfits, mei, going for that A.S.S, ace detective rodion). Before the event came out i know people were debating on why vergilus picked that team either for their skills or because it reminded him of his old crew which could still be the case but its comedic to me that the reason mersault didn't join is because he didn't volunteer also this yi sang moment

ya like to see your boy happy We get reminded that the city is indeed a bad place. and we finally get some more characterization for rodion cause by god she needed it her canto was not long enough and it was exelent, the the facade is now painfully obvious if you didn't see it before and she still has her doubts of being useless and not special especially after seeing sonya's effects in the world.

the time killer themselves rocking up in a clean suit body and quite an interesting antagonist built around the concept of wasting time and the guilt from that, carmen did a good job that day clean workmanship (still fuck you carmen). Hubert turning out to be who we really are and planning to stop time to achieve his goal is 100% gonna bite us in the ass especially when LIMBUS IS SELLING HIM THE FUCKING CORUPTION PILLER LIKE

Hong lu thats not just something you can casually bring up. but it did help with understanding ones feelings to try and cheer rodion up (hong lu is gonna be quite interesting when we get to his canto with his emotional intelligence)

Was thinking about Ace Attorney x Project Moon and wondering how that'd even work. The City seems like a very "fend for yourself," "might makes right" type of place. There are definitely laws, and jail-type locations are shown (mainly in Limbus Canto 6.5-1,) but we never see any kind of "due process." It usually just seems like people are arrested as soon as they're suspected of something, and thrown in jail forever unless they're rich.

We do come across some kinds of "lawyers," such as the Fixers you encounter in the Reception of Mirae Life Insurance, but those are insurance lawyers/collectors. Really, the only types of law ever covered are insurance law, contract law, and patent law. We never see anything about civil disputes or criminal law.

They take care to stress that laws don't apply during the Night in the Backstreets, when the Sweepers come out, which means that there are laws and punishments surrounding violent offenses, at least within the Nests, and possibly in the Backstreets outside of nighttime. Property damage is highlighted as an especially heinous offense, and if my memory serves right, the only offense that you can still be punished for during the Night in the Backstreets.

Overall, we get info on insurance, contract, and patent laws, but very little on criminal and civil law. Those last two seem to only be viewed in the lens of "you'll get punished by someone if you violate them" but it seems heavily dependent on which District you're in. A lot of Districts seem to just be "shoot the violators" while some, like T Corp, do seem to have an imprisonment system, at least for Time Tax Evaders. But we never see any due process.

I do think it'd be cool, though. Ace Attorney style trials in the high-tech City environment, allowing both interesting new tricks in the crimes, and cool new ways to investigate them. Maybe a Fixer Office specializing in defense law, who is hired to defend people accused of crimes in court, using expensive technology to investigate crimes in more detail when the actual police force of The City just doesn't feel like doing their job.

i would be so pleasantly surprised if they incorporate small jekyll and hyde references into don's story as well, like she does remind me a lot of the glass scientists hyde and would be interesting to explore the OTHER cool theory of that bloodfiend being sancho

Also faust in this chapter was super interesting, i will need to properly catch up on the story (im only up to canto 4 i watched 6.5 on youtube lmao) before i say anything about her, but having previously not known that there is another faust it is interesting to have it confirmed that she is not just refering to herself in the third person

I made this mod of LCB Heathcliff where I replaced his bat with that golden HOPE bat that I've been seeing my friends post, and here he is!!

And about the white thing behind him... I don't know how to fix it, but it does go away when you use him in Canto VI, 6.5 and Mirror Dungeons(? I haven't tested him there yet)
