Plot: Reader is the first female F1 driver of the century, however no-one knows that as you are a ghost on the grid. You started in 2022, coming in P12 in the championship. You get moved to Red Bull Racing in 2023 with the off year for Sergio Perez.

Standing up on the podium, not being able to do anything as you watched Oscar run off was torture. You had to stay there while your national anthem played that should have been amazing considering it was you, Lewis and Lando all up there together.

And of course, there were no breaks for you afterwards. Everyone wanted you, from SkySports, to F1, to Netflix. Everyone was throwing questions at you and asking how different your achievements feel now knowing that your the first woman to have completed many of them.

You were fine answering them, because like they said. All of your previous achievements were now bigger than they were as Ghost. People could tell that you weren't fully with them, you were a little spacey and sometimes struggled with hearing and answering the questions.

Most of them put it down to the post race fuzz of the win and revealing who you were, but upon getting to the Sky Sports Team who consisted of Jenson Button, Nico Rosberg, Natalie Pinkham and Danica Patrick questions turned sour.

To say that the UK was the start of something spectacular was an understatement. You didn't go out and celebrate that night, you stayed in with your family.

The next race was Hungary where you proceeded to take the win away from Max in the last 3 laps, being on the fresher tires. They asked you to let Max take the win but you begged for them to let you fight it out. You shared the podium with Max and Lando, in Spa you came second, sharing the podium with Max and Charles and in The Netherlands you came 4th.

Throughout all of this Oscar hadn't reached out to you. You'd kept in contact with Lando, asking how he was and what had been going on. However Monza changed things.

An article came out about an interview Oscar had done about you and how you hadn't spoken to him since. He hadn't spoken very nicely about you when all you'd done was stick up for him. You guys got into a massive argument outside the garages that of course people caught on camera.

You had a really bad qualifying, the car just didn't have pace and your mind wasn't in the right place. So you were starting P14 on the grid, after a cry to Christian that you were so overwhelmed and him assuring you that it was today that really mattered.

You had turned off everything when you got in the car on the Sunday. No thoughts in your head just the racing. On the start you managed to get yourself to P12 overtaking Liam and Nico right of the bat.

"Excellent start Y/N lets keep pushing"

Martin Bundle - I have to say that Y/N is incredible with these races where she starts down in the back of the grid, and she gets those amazing starts where she slips in the middle of the two drivers ahead and is able to confidently get herself up too places

"Okay, and Alonso are ahead, you have DRS" your engineer tells you, and you are able to overtake Yuki who doesn't go as aggressively into the chicane as you do. You have a little spin but recover enough to pull up aside Alonso on the straight, going for the overtake.

"Amazing Y/N, that's P10 right now. Keep pushing"

Eventually you were left fighting Carlos, Max clipped a tire and was now down in 4th fighting with Charles.

"Y/N this has been a fantastic race, from P14 up to P2, Carlos is 1.8 second ahead. Lets get him and bring home a double podium. Max is fighting for P3 right now. 5 laps to go" he advises.

"Tell him to speed up, I'll give him DRS we can overtake Sainz together so its a 1.2" you advise looking seeing the Ferrari behind you. You slow down on the hairpin, breaking early, which Charles didn't expect where he was concentrating on defending from Max. You speed up, watching as he spins out a little leaving room for Max on the inside.

"Okay, Sainz has sped up there's now a 2.6 second gap"

"Copy that" you say, Max was using your slip stream, but didn't go for the overtake, you easily defended from Charles together while gaining on the other Ferrari.

"Okay last two laps, Sainz, 0.3 second gap"

"Yeah i can fucking tell I'm riding his rear end" you say, the minute you get onto the straight you and Max both go either side of Sainz, sandwiching him in as your about to go into turn 11. He breaks early falling back leaving you to take the optimal racing line and get ahead of Max.

"Is Max fighting this last lap?" you ask.

"He's been told is free to fight. Mode push and bring us another win" your race engineer advises, you breeze through the final lap, it was a close call but you came first.

"Y/N Y/L/N winner of the 2023 Italian Grand Prix" your race engineer says a big grin coming onto your face as you flip up the visor holding your fist up as you see all the Red Bull crew cheering for you on the fencing.

"Where did Oscar place?" you ask, you hadnt thought about him up until now. Even as you passed the orange 81 car, it was just another car then.

"Not a good race for Piastri, P12 behind Lawson"

"Okay. Thank you for the great drive today. Thank you Christian" you say before preparing yourself for the podium.

Alec sighed and walked toward the window. He stared aimlessly at nothing. His eyes reflected a sea of emotions and his eyebrows scrunched together as he was in deep thought. It pained you to see him like this. Alec held so much responsibility on his shoulders and never has he asked for anyone’s help to carry the load of it. Slowly walking up to him you reached out your hand moving his face to look at you. He tensed for a second but relaxed and closed his eyes leaning into your hand.

“I’m tired too. We’ve hated eachother for long enough and I’m ready to put the past behind us and start new if you’re willing to.”

His eyes bounced back from your lips to your eyes before he leaned closer and closer till you felt his breath on your cheek. He grabbed your hand and put it against his chest to feel his heart beat.

“Tell me you feel the same.” He pleaded.

The truth was you did. Deep down you always loved him and always will. It’s what makes your decision hurt all the more. Grabbing his hand you put it against your chest and said,

“I do Alec. I denied it for so long but i do. I love you… but we cant do this.”.

Slowly you removed his hand and stepped back.

“But..Why?. Is it because of what people might say?. About what Izzy or my parents will say?.”

Alec felt like he had cement blocks chained to his feet with every step he took as his body tried to convince his mind to stay and fight for you. He tried not to turn around and look cause he knew it would hurt more but he couldn’t help it. Alec hoped you would change your mind and stop him but he knew your mind was made up. With one final look he turned the knob and walked out closing the door behind him. The last time you cried yourself to sleep was when your parents died and now when you lost the man you could have loved for the rest of your life.

Everyone could tell something had changed between you two. The bickering had ended along with the competitions and every interaction was professional and you’d mostly avoid each other if you didn’t need to be together. Missions ran smoothly and the clave noticed your progress and even offered you a higher position at another institute which you considered but declined stating New York was your home and you’d never leave your Parabatai. You never told Izzy about your interaction with Alec but she always suspected something between you. If Izzy was one thing she was definitely persistent and she wouldn’t let up till one of you spoke so she started with Alec.

Alec was just finishing up paperwork in his office when Izzy let herself in.

“What?” He asked without looking up.

“What’s going on between you and Y/N?.”

“Nothing. Why?”

“Cut the bullshit Alec. I know you’ve had a thing for her since we were kids and I know something happened when she came back.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. There’s nothing going on. She knows her place and I know mine. End of story.”

“No not end of story. Spill it or I’ll go confront her myself.”

When Alec didn’t answer Izzy turned around and started walking towards the door before he shot up and stopped her.

“Wait!!…don’t.”

“Why?..”

“I’ll tell you…That night she came back I went to her room to talk to her. I don’t know why I just had to see her. She was gone for so long and I thought she’d never come back. I realized I do love her and confessed. But…”

He paused and looked down holding back tears recounting that night. Izzy put her hand on his shoulder giving him a reassuring squeeze nodding for him to go on.

“She asked me to let her go. She told me she loved me too but that I had to do the right thing. I told her I wouldn’t marry Lydia and leave our parents to solve their own problems but she said it was my duty. It’s not fair!.”

He yelled as he grabbed a statue from his desk and threw it at the wall.

Izzy had never seen her brother this way. So vulnerable and out of control. The weight he carried on his shoulders as the eldest Lightwood finally showed.

“I love her and I have to see her everyday and act like I don’t!. I can’t focus on anything because she’s all I think about. I just.. I just don’t know how to let her go.” He cried.

There was nothing Izzy could do or say to make him feel better so she hugged him and comforted him till he calmed down. He decided to go train with Jace to try and distract himself while Izzy made it her mission to find you and convince you not to give up on him. Hopefully it wasn’t to late…

It was a calm afternoon in the Dragon City, birds chirped, the sunset welcomed the air of the evening, and like everyday, Royal Margarine cookie would come out to boast about his alleged achievements. Of course there would be nothing wrong about that, the children found it cool, the ladies swooned or… only laughed if they knew the truth he revealed when he got drunk or from rumors that ran away, and then, there was you, always by his side to aid in the telling of the story to the best of your capabilities.

“And when all seemed lost, I scoured the skies with my trusty dragon and—”

“Wait, I thought Buttercream was a wy-”

“Ah—!”

He loved you, he really did, he admired your motivation and your knowledge on dragons, even if sometimes like these times, it came into play in the wrong moments. Royal Margarine would shush you rather quickly, attempting to continue the story, but you wouldnt let it go, in fact, attempting to be a bit louder which caused some children to look confused, while the ladies and men would simply laugh to themselves, crossing their arms in a “we’ve caught you” notion. That’d mark the end of the storytime for the “dragon” rider, as both him and his partner would walk home calmly, albeit not without chitchat being made along the way, little chatter about how their day had gone, about what they’d have for dinner, until eventually they’d get to the topic of the storytime.

“Right, sweetheart, about that…” He’d begin scratching the back of his head “I’d appreciate it if you didnt interrupt me while telling my stories…”

“But Buttercream is a wyvern!” You’d say as you both approached your home, to which Margarine would look behind him before opening the door for you, after all, he always had manners.

“Yes, but its a secret! People cant get to know that—”

“Why? Arent Wyverns dragons?” You’d ask innocently, once again cutting him off which would catch him off guard, but not for the reasons you would expect. “Sorry”

“No-No, Im not mad at you, its just… How to say this…” He’d close the door behind himself, thinking for a moment before speaking yet again “Uhm, darling… Wyverns arent, dragons…”

It’d take you a moment to register the answer as you’d set down your messenger bag, looking at the couch before turning to see him, an unreadable expression in your eyes as you tried to comprehend what he had just told you. Wyverns werent… dragons? But you had done your research! You learned about as much as there were about dragons as there were tales in the city, but, as doubt began to settle down, perhaps… only perhaps…

“Wyverns, wyverns arent dragons?” You’d ask him, just to make sure that what you had heard was correct, to which the dragon rider would nod slowly, a sorrowful gaze in his face as he realized this seemed to cause a shift in you. “But— The books—”

“They are similar, which may be why they may have been fit together, but they’re not… the same, sweetheart” He’d say, walking to your side to hold your hand and lead you to the couch. 

“Oh…” You’d speak, before turning to look at him once again, already opening your mouth to speak yet again “But— That means Buttercream is…”

“Yes, she’s not a dragon, she’s indeed a wyvern.”

“... Then why do you call yourself a dragon rider?” Your question would come tainted in curiosity, and he’d only chuckle though at the realization that he didnt have an exact answer, he’d only look at the floor before answering.

“Well… Because Wyvern Rider sounds weird, no? Besides, Dragon Rider does sound quite fashionable”

“Ah, I see… Well, I’ll go make dinner, its already late and we should be having dinner soon!” You’d say, shaking your hands softly as you headed into the kitchen, leaving Royal Margarine out in the sofa.

“Sweetheart, let me help you” He’d say, already sprinting to walk to your side, which you welcomed as you wrapped your arms around his shoulders with a smile “Woah”

“Im just— Excited! This is very exciting! I didnt know different kinds of species related to dragons existed! Did you know that—”

And then there was no stopping you as you spoke and spoke about dragon facts to your boyfriend, who only would sigh and smile warmly, knowing he’d be having to take care about most of the cooking this time around save you hurt yourself as you focused on your rambling. Though he didnt mind, he knew you liked his cooking, and he always made sure to make extra for Buttercream everytime.

As so, next time you saw Buttercream, you’d smile and talk to her about how she was a wyvern and not a dragon, but also admit that you knew she probably knew that already. But its safe to say that everytime Margarine told his usual achievements as a dragon rider, you’d butt in to correct him innocently, causing him to try to shush you everytime, and for nearby listeners to either look confused or laugh softly. But the truth is, he could never be mad at you.

While he was in the underworld trying to find DF soul he stumbled upon a lake where he saw the illusion of DF, he thought it was his soul and reached out to take it back but the lake is made of acid and instantly melted his hand when he discovered that the last ‘gift’ DH gave him was immortality,

His wounds healed instantly and he became long lived. He uses this to his advantage and swam in the acid lake trying to find his beloved till his healing cant keep up anymore.

he drifted off for 700 years till elio found him. He had taken a new identity and called himself Ren during his time with Elio’s sect.

After dh died he thought that was the end of it, he didn't expect he would wake up again to clear blue skies, he was back to the future but not the future he knew.

His sect members (himeko, welt, march, stelle and caelus) welcomed him back. He was shocked to find they are alive since last he saw them was when they were killed by demon lord Ren.

They told him he was in seclusion for months to cultivate and he realized no one remembered the alternate dystopian timeline because his mission was a success.

He tried to find out what happened in the last 700 years. He was glad that YX was remembered as a wise emperor and made his empire prosper under his rule in history books so his sacrifice was not in vain,

He knows he loves him but he chose to fulfill his mission. He feels a little bit of regret leaving him and hurting him with his last words but it has to be done.

Renheng met again in this lifetime when the nameless (AE) and hunter (SH) sect got a team up mission. DH was already exploring the place where their mission is while waiting for his partner but he didn't expect to see YX himself in the flesh,

Neither did Ren but since DF already died in his arms 700 years ago, he believed that DH is his reincarnation. He is still as beautiful as the day he lost him…he is glad that his beloved came back to him.

Ren calls him Dan Feng but DH pretends he doesn't know him.

DH: im sorry, i'm not this ‘Dan Feng’ you speak of, i’m Dan Heng and this is the first time weve ever met! Now let me go

But Ren insists and follows him everywhere trying to woo him and DH keeps denying "i've told you many times i'm not dan feng, im dan heng"

Ren managed to make DH reveal the truth that it's actually him when he tricks DH into slipping up by saying something only both of them know.

During the mission they were attacked by a faction who still wants to revive the demon lord so Ren who even though he doesn't have Shuhu’s flesh anymore still retains those powers and used it against them and was witnessed by other sects.

They retreated but Ren was arrested and everyone agreed to execute him since he is still the reincarnation of the demon lord. DH rushes to his rescue and proves that he is harmless since for 700 years he hasn't done anything that the Demon lord will do,

didn't they see for themselves how Ren is, DH also revealed his time travel mission through a vision that it was a success and that he was able to extract and seal Shuhu’s flesh so there is no need to worry about him awakening. It is in a very safe place.

Ren was released and they were left alone in a room. Ren pieces together that the Dan Feng who was nice to him was Dan Heng all along.

Ren:” it turns out that it was you I've been seeing since then. You protected me, you treated me well. You wanted to kill me,but you're also afraid of me dying. It's you all along. Our story lasted 700 years and here we are now.

You saved me from distress despite the risks all the time. Thank you for doing so much for me. I actually didn't know this until now. This time, it's my turn to protect you.”

After a long talk they reconciled and were willing to give their relationship a shot again. Ren was worried because he realized that shuhu’s flesh cannot be destroyed and that the ‘safe place’ that DH was talking about was himself,

He thinks it might corrupt him but DH tells him not to worry as his body being a vidyadhara will naturally repel its destructive energy.

Ren also gives back his half of the bracer saying that he is just returning it to its rightful owner. They both promise that this time they will face everything together till the end.

Ren has another flare up from the nails that were stabbed into him DH apologizes but Ren is fine with it and forgave him a long time ago.

Ren: These are old wounds, I've recovered a long time ago.

DH opens Ren’s robes a little bit and sees the scars it left and kisses it, leaving a new mark (lotus)

Dh: since they won't disappear, let's cover them.

Ren: don't worry as long as it's yours, i'll have it with me forever.

They spent their time like a happy married couple, something that they weren't able to do before but there was a traitor within the sect (Dan Shu)

who is a part of the group called sanctus medicus still want to revive Demon lord and found out that dh houses the shuhu flesh in his body so they took it out and gave it back to the rightful owner. Which awakened him into the Demon lord they were trying to prevent.

In order to defeat him, DH has to kill him since he is the only one who could. During the final battle, DH trembles as he tries to plunge the spear into Ren but misses. Ren puts his hand over dh’s, stabs himself and tells him “do it properly“

DH planned to accompamy ren till the end by double suicide but ren didnt want that and knows that shuhu’s flesh cannot be easily destroyed by others so he exploded himself instead but at the last minute before ren dissipated to ashes dh sealed ren in his bracer.

While sealed up and with dh wearing it his divinity flows to the bracer and slowly heals Ren, he can also tell how Ren is feeling, he could feel him through the bracer.

dh talks to the bracer then it 'answers' by warming up. He will wait for him to come back no matter how long it takes

DH: "I hope you wake up by the time our baby hatch we are waiting for you to come home, my love”

Random thoughts about Wind and Truth (some of them mainly about the ending and the fallout thereof, so spoiler warning):

If Roshar is in a time bubble where roughly 10 years will pass while 70-80 will pass outside of it I cannot wait to see what technological advancements worlds like Scadrial, Sel, Nalthis, Komashi, and even Lumar or Canticle (which while neither have a Shard, both have large amounts of Investiture and have been visited by spacefaring Scadrialians). Specifically Id love to see what kind of advancements Scadrial and Komashi make in the next 80 years, as the former has created trains while being on pace for discovering the radio while the latter has electricity. Steam and Electric power, without magic, signaled a technological boom in our own history, as within 100 years of Steam Powered Trains we had cars, and within 80 years of the light bulb we were going to space. With Hoin and Metal Bending, who knows what those worlds could get up to while Roshar is stuck in time.

Is Braize, or whatever/wherever Kaladin took the Heralds, within the time bubble? I am assuming, from my understanding of the text, that its not. Which means Kaladin will have close to 100 years to work with the Heralds, hopefully bringing them some peace.

I would really love an Edgedancer/Secret History/Dawnshard type novella/interlude exploring the 20 years that Odium trapped Gav in the Spiritual Realm to brainwash him. I was totally shocked when he appeared as the Champion of Odium, I think that couldve been seeded better to make the reader/audience suspect while it still being a Holy Shit moment, but getting away from teh Shock of it, it did feel a bit cheap. I would like to experience his experiences and re-read the reveal with the context of what he went through.

Ive read a few reviews and a few posts (thankfully no more than a handful, but of course the ones I disagree with are the reviews I remember) saying that Wind and Truth was somehow a "character assassination" of Kaladin. None of them really went into detail explaining their reasoning so to them I just wanna say a general "Huh?" Cause...like...how is Depressed Man Focused On Helping People Accepting That He Cant Help Everyone But Still Trying To Do His Best To Help Those Who Ask and Those In Need not Kaladins best ending??

Snow white rewrite

This isn't really a spitefic but rather how i would write my own take on a disney snow white. Spoilers below.

In the beginning snow white is born during a blizzard. That's how she gets her name. We cut to her childhood in the Good Things Grow sequence. She gives a wreath to a lonely girl who becomes her best friend - Andriana. She also gives bread to a little boy in green (who is later revealed to be her future love interest).

One day a kindly noble from the southern kingdom arrives. Her name is Lilith. She is NOT played by gal gadot but a different actress who can sing and act.

Anyways, Lilith gains favor with the court with her magic tricks. Even snow white is amazed. The king is immediately smitten with her and by the next year they marry. When Snow White is a preteen her father disappears during a war and Lilith starts ruling in his stead. She steadily reveals her true colors, taking the kingdom's riches, overworking the mines until they dry up. All Except one which produces magical gems. Fearing what she could do if she ever found them, the miners decide to use their owm magic to hide the gems away by creating a forest. Rumors spread about the horrible things in the forest scaring off anyone who tries to enter. even the royal guards avoids it if they could help it.

A few years later it is late autumn. Usually the kindgom would prepare for holidays but no one feels like celebrating. The queen has taken their harvest all for herself leaving them with crumbs. Snow white has been a prisoner in her own home yet espite everything that happened to her, she still remains kind even to the guards. The girl she gave the wreath to also works at the castle and is her best friend, Andriana. One day while cleaning the Andriana is frightened by a noise coming from the pantry Snow White rushes in to see what happened and sees a young man in the stealing potatoes. Snow White tells the man that stealing is a crime only for him to reply that his friends are hungry. Snow White notices the rags and gaunt features and realizes he's telling the truth, so she lets him leaves but promises him she could tell the queen to give more food.

At dinner, snow white tries to tell the queen about the people being hungry and asks her to give Andriana promotion to try to help her. Just then the huntsman shows up with the same thief. The queen is about to tell the guard to throw them in the dungeon but snow white speaks up and tells her the punishment shouldn't exceed the crime. So the queen decides to strip the boy to his undergarments and tie him to the gates. She taunts snow white that her people doesn't need frivolous things like kindness and plants and as an extra bit of spite, she has andrea demoted. Snow White refuses to be humiliated though and walks out in dignified silence.

Later in the maid quarters Snow White apologizes to Adriana in trouble but her friend reassures her that she was just looking out for her and she cant blame herself for her stepmother's bad choices. She and the other maids present snow white with an early birthday gift: a cerulean and gold dress that they took time to make. Snow White tells them they shouldn't have to do that but Adriana says that after everything, she deserves to have something beautiful. This act of kindness leads to snow white regainjng her confidence (Waiting on A Wish). She sneaks outside and unties the thief and gives him a piece of bread. The evil queen sees this and goes to her mirror. She asks him if she's the fairest of them all only for the mirror to say she's got competition. Angered the queen orders the huntsman to kill snow white. The huntsman protests thats she's just a girl but the queen threatens to have him thrown in jail for treason if he doesnt comply.

The next day the huntsman tells snow white that he'll be taking her to pick apples. Excited to spend a day outside the castle snow white puts on the dress andrea made her and goes to the forest. When they traveled far enough the huntsman takes out his knife but stops when snow white asks his pointedly why is he doing this. The hunstman tells her to run away.

Snow white runs into the forest, getting attacked by trees, nearly drowning and her dress is torn. When she climbs out of the river she sees a pair of red eyes but theyre revelaed ti be a harmless deer. She finds herself surrounded by animals and they guide her to a cottage where she rests.

Back in the village the huntsman gives the queen snow white's "heart". Her joy is broken when someone tells her that she has guests. The guests are actors from a travelling band who wishes to entertain her as a gift. She lets them in thinking that its entertainment. Meanwhile a couple of thieves sneak into the castle. The queen senses something is wrong. She realizes the guests are actually thieves and sends the guards after them A fight ensues each bandit displaying a different ability: Farno using firecrackers, Maple trapping soldiers with sticky sap, Scythe fighting with blades, Quigg and Norwich attempting to steal more food. The sixth bandit and their lookout, Finch, uses his birdcalling skill to warn his friends that the queen is coming and they escape. The rebels meet up with their leader, who is the same thief snow had saved. They tell him that they cant keep this up forever and sooner or later they need a miracle solution. Jonathan tells them he knows where to look and despite warning from his rebels he heads into the forbidden forest.

The dwarves are introduced mining the magic gemstones in peace. Half of them are portayed by little people and the other half by taller actors. They head back to their cottage which doubles as their headquarters and finds snow white sleeping in one of their beds. The dwarves are scared but snow white shows them that she isnt a threat. The oldest introduces himself as Doc following by the others.

Snow white says the thought they were bandits but grumpy angrily replies that the real bandit is the evil queen. Doc says that he knew the royal family for generations. He explains that they grew enchanted forest to hide their magic gems from her stepmother. They agree to let her stay until she can figure out her next move. At breakfast the dwarves get into an argument resulting in Dopey sadly leaving the cottage. Snow White talks to him and teaches him how to whistle. This leads to the Whistle While You Work sequence. Theyre cut off by the arrival of their leader, the same thief Snow white had saved. She jokingly asks Doc if his name is Sneaky but the unamused thief replies that its actually Jonathan. The dwarves had taken him in when he was a child but after he grew older he joined a group of rebels. Joanthan tells doc that his rebels haven't made as much progress as he hoped and doesnt want anothet mouth to feed but, Doc says that the girl is actually the princess and needs their help. Still Jonathan remains unamused. Snow white attempts to befriend Jonathan by accompanying him on patrol. They start to argue that Jonathan needs to be less pragmatic while Jonathan says she needs to be less naive (Princess Problems). Then theyre attacked by the queen's soldiers but saved just in time by the dwarves. Another fight ensues with snow white tricking the huntsman with help from her animals. However just as the heroes believes they won, one of the soldiers aim his bow and arrow at snow white. Jonathan sees him takes an arrow for her.

The dwarves carry him back to the cottage and Doc heals him, but it's snow white who keeps an eye on him. Just then the human rebels arrive having spent the whole day searching for food. Thinking that they did something to jonathan the humans try to attack but are quickly dismissed by the dwarves superior magic. Snow white interrupts and scolds everyone that's exactly what her stepmother want. Snow White explains that Jonathan saved her life and she in fisny realizin how generous she is Jonathan feels bad for doubting her. After he recovers he thanks her by giving her a red cloak that he had taken from the castle. The dwarves agree to help the humans in exchange for keeping the forest secret. They give the humans worhtless gems that they then use to trick the queen.

Back with Lilith, she gets words from the captain of the gaurd that they had encountered dwarves and that snow white was with them. She Deduces that the huntsman deceived her so she has him brought before her. She breaks into a lavish musical number "All Is Fair" and sends the huntsman to jail. Andriana witnesses the whole thing while cleaning and prays for snow white's safety.

As days go on the rebels and dwarves start working together, snow white using the wild fruit to make sweets for the rebels to take back to the villagers. The queen starts to notice everyone getting a little too happy for her liking. Snow White and Jonathan starts to fall in love which isnt gone unnoticed hy their friends. By the first day of winter the dwarves and humans have gotten along and decide throw a party to celebrate the harvest. Snow white and jonathan share a dance "A Hand Meets A Hand." Only for find everyone is staring at them with knowing looks. They decide to go to a secluded place. Jonathan talks about his backstory and how he still remembers the princess, and that he genuinely wants things to get better not just for himself but for the dwarves, since they took him in after his parents died. Snow white realizes him that he was the same boy she had given the flower years ago.

The next day Jonathan and the dwarves leave on their biggest mission. snow white tells him she is find staying alone as long as the magic barrier still works. The rebels go back to the village only to see that guards are everywhere. They hatch a plan to sneak in and things are going good but one by one they are captured thanks to Lilith's cunning magic.

The evil queen has them brought to court. Doc tells her she'll never find their magic gems but the queen tsks that she'll always find a way. She has them imprisoned along with jonathan and concocts a potion to turn herself into an old woman. She creates a poison apple and goes to the forest, unaware that she is being watched by Andriana.

In jail, jonathan and the dwarves try to break out but the huntsman tells them its no use. Jonathan refuses to give them and all of them use their combined strengths to break free. They noticed that the queen is gone. As their searching the catsle for weapons, they catch up with Andriana, who tells them that she overheard her talking about paying her daughter a visit. She sneaks Jonathan to the stables and gives a horse to ride back to the forest with the dwarves in tow along with the woodland critters.

Meanwhile snow white starts to get worried when her friends haven't came back yet. She passes the time humming then hears knock on the door. It is the old woman. Snow white is surprised to find another person but the old lady explains that she knew her father. She gives her an apple and not wanting to come off unappreciative eats the apple. Suddenly she starts feeling funny and falls to the ground. She accuses the old lady of poisoning her. Lilith tells her it is her own kindness that did her in. Snow white loses consciousness. As the old lady leaves she sings the All Is Fair reprise. The dwarves arrive too late.

Lilith finds the magical mine and forces the human rebels to mine ofr her or she'll execute the dwarves and jonathan. Reluctantly the humans start to mind but finch used his bird whistling to warn the dwarves

Doc tried to use his healing magic but is blocked by the spell. Saddened by her death, they create a coffin of rock and flowers and lay her to rest near the lake. Jonathan bids one final goodbye with a kiss. After a few moments pass. Suddenly snow white starts breathing again and wakes up much to the joy of her friends. Snow white feels bad about herself that she let the old lady trick her and that maybe she was right about her kindess being weakness. Grumpy is the first one to refute this saying all she had done since she entered their lives was good. Jonathan tells her that she taught him to enjoy life and that he met her friend at the castle. Dopey speaks up "let her try." Feeling better Snow white decides to fight for her kindgom. Then the bird finch sent arrives and snow white is able to make out his message.

The rebels hurry back to the mines to see it getting ransacked, the guard forcing their human friends to mine for them. They start to fight them off, the human rebels stay behind to guard the mines while the captain of the guard chases snow white, jonathan and the dwarves on minecarts. The chase ends when they reach the other side of the mine revealing to be another entry to the kingdom. Snow white arrives at village and sees Andriana, who puts on the wreath - which had since decayed but she still kept it - and joins her best friend. The rest of the villagers plus the huntsman follows (Waiting on a wish reprise). The Evil Queen is fawning over her new magical stones but hears the crowd and storms outside. Realizing shes outnumbered Lilith activates her newly enpowered scepter starts turning everyone into statues, while the dwarves use their magic to try to fight her they are quickly overpowered and turned to statues. Snow white baits her into chasing her into the catsle where they have a confrontation in the mirror room. Just as Lilith is about to strike, snow white moves out of the way causing the spell to hit the mirror instead. Realizing her mistake Lilith tries to fix the broken mirror but a booming voice tells her that snow white will always be fairer than her repeating the same words on her locket. Lilith feels her body losing energy and she turns into a burnt form befor being pulled back into the mirror. Everyone turns back into their original forms. The shards glow white and form the body of a person - the king! Snow white and her father have a happy reunion. The king explains that after he find out about his bride's true colors she had trapped him inside her mirror, forcing him to tell her that shes beautiful while being unable to protect his own daughter. He tells snow whire that he is proud of her and thanks the dwarves for taking care of her.

A month later the kingdom celebrates the first snow fall on snow white's birthday which also is the day of her and jonathan's wedding. Her father decides not to retake his throne as he plans to enjoy the rest of his life doing - what else - making pies. Farno becomes the royal blacksmith, Bingley becomes a jewelery maker. Scythe becomes a farmer, Maple begins her own jam business, Finch becomes a csrver making birdhouses and Quigg becomes a councilman. Doc also becomes the royal doctor. Good Things Grow finale

Dopey turns out to be the narrator the whole time. With Lilith defeated Snow white has finally become the queen she was meant to be and the kingdom becomes whole again.

ok W.I.T.C.H. cartoon ppl let us talk about this thing, this mystery which would only disturb our peace of mind (ok my peace of mind), that age-old question of HOW THE HECK WAS IT WITH THE CAT

to put this into more eloquent wording: when (the heck) exactly in W is for Witch did Phobos take on the appearance of Napoleon and who knew? i really would like to know, how you guys saw it - and now im doing some absurdly excessive research for this tiny little detail lol - but like, it has implications

so, i generally thought he changed into the cat at some moment after he revealed to Will that he wouldnt mind Nerissa catching Napoleon, for he would gain more power then - and i kind of still think that - but i bumped into people just working with different schemes casually, and i thought it was truth that there were some things strange

i even met ppl thinking he was Napoleon already at the bookshop, but i don't think it is the case tbh - some of it was in discussions about this strangely nice smile that fandom goes nuts about lol

but phobos does some magic here - it's true napoleon could just pretend to be the one doing magic, while phobos, in the likeness of napoleon, would do it - but then the cat runs away and phobos-looking person still does magic, so it cannot be napoleon.. also would Phobos really go to flirt with that cat lol

also, generally, phobos says such stuff that it would make napoleon an insanely good impersonator :D (and imagine P. taking the effort to to talk like Napoleon lol) like, why not, maybe, but i have a meta argument against this, and that is that in V is for Victory the switch of appearances was clear to the viewer from a certain point, they did not switch tempers or even try to impersonate the other - so why would they do so here? i kind of think that, while at a point P. looked like N., N. might never have taken the looks of P. - although, im not certain

well, situation: in that exchange where Phobos says he doesnt give a shit about Napoleon being taken, Will seems to believe that she actually is speaking to Phobos - they could have been just playing it in front of Nerissa, who is present - but then Will also tells the girls that Phobos told this to her as a new information, and if it was a display, the girls would know it and they seem to be completely alone, so she wouldn't have to pretend at the moment - so here it seems to be truth

but the strange things are that 1) thereafter, phobos just doesnt act like it - he actually, just a moment later, is disguised as Napoleon and overpowers Nerissa without the Heart of Earth 2) when this happens, the others are waiting aside, holding the true Napoleon, seeming as if they are not surprised, as if it actually was the plan 3) if in the end he actually took the seal for its two hearts, why wouldnt he do it at the exact point of the exchange already? Nerissa is just lying there in front of him, fighting Mr. Huggles

was it all a plan actually? were they fighting nerissa just to fool her? because that is a strategy that they use a lot - also to outsmart Phobos later - and was the plan followed all along, and who knew about it?

it is striking that the dramatic exchange between will and phobos takes place in front of nerissa.. AND i cant help but notice that when cedric catches Will and she fights him off, she has this strange look of knowing exactly what is going on, it is not a look of yes power i just beat cedric yeah, it is different - and omg look at her!

and it is the exact moment, when we suddenly see napoleon running away and Nerissa follows him - and i think that might be the moment, when phobos transforms - and another meta argument, Will's gaze has no other function there, it is just added into the sequence, just after will is shown to have freed herself from C's tail - there is no other emotion than actually being calm and in control and there is a cut from her fighting situation right to this, it is not flowing into it - thats strange, it seems like a shot of significance intentionally added by the creators - i would say she and C might have drawn Nerissa's attention, while Phobos changed, and Will can see this and is content, cause stuff goes well

but i still dont understand the previously mentioned two things 1) why then Will tells the girls phobos's intention as something true.. maybe Will's gaze might also be something like *im not surprised at all you piece of shit (ie Phobos)*, as she would actually think he'd betrayed them..? 2) why didnt P. take the seal? it's true that if it was Napoleon, drawing from his secret awesome acting skills, he literally would not be able to take the seal - other option is that it was strategy, cause here Nerissa would fight Phobos, while thinking he was the cat caught her entirely off guard

if it was true, that it was not just a display all along, it could be that they did not know about this plan and it was only Phobos using his previously moderately succesful strategy without telling anyone as usually - but then they seemed to be aware of it in the end, waiting for him to strike..

another idea that comes to mind is that, while it was a plan, he just planned to betray them and let Nerissa catch Napoleon and then he might have changed his mind after the exchange with Will (being just P. in his own looks).. it could be a rational choice, it's better to have two hearts than none, so he would just let the Heart of Earth go.. i'm sure some phowill fanfiction could draw mountains of gold from this tho lol - as for this, there also is the option that only Will actually knew and only told the others, when everything was clear, but i kind of dont think that she would act like this, its like, ooc - i mean, especially in the comics, she has this tendency to take all responsibility on herself and then sometimes forgets to consult, but collaboration with the villain and not trusting the girls with it might be a more sensitive topic

so to me the options are:

the cat change was a plan, but P. aimed to betray them, it was him talking to Will sincerely, and then at this moment he would decide to betray them just a little later for one reason or another

the cat change was still a plan, the dialogue was a display, the girls just knew and someone actually was close enough to hear them.. there would have to be a reason for him not taking the seal there - a strategy to mislead Nerissa into not fighting P. off or some magical rule or what not - or actually this being Napoleon talking to Will, it's still possible, i guess

it is possible that it is just an inconsistency that sometimes occurs in WITCH generally

But to the chapter as a whole! There are?? So many things I wanna talk about? I’ll try to keep it somewhat short so I can fit it all into one ask but sienussnei-

I’m like 50 percent sure those strings pulled had something to do with the fauti. Something I remembered!! Not every person from the house of the hearth becomes one of the fauti! But they still do remain close to the group! My crack theory is that Rosalie is one of people in that latter group. Arlecchino was able to fully attempt an assassination on Furina without anyone knowing before or after( including the orphans in this as well since they don’t say thing about it as far as i know? And im absolutely positive they wouldn’t push for more info and take her at her word that she didn’t have the gnosis) and the only reason why it was a attempt and not a success is because she stopped herself! Either way though, considering her disguise used for that same attempt, I sure that the hooded figure was Father herself.

ALSO THE PINING OF THIS MAN!!! That polearm?? The sudden flip from fake to real the moment he saw Rosseland (I’m assuming that was the kitty in question) had led Thawed!Reader to him? The instant flirtations? Not to mention that despite the fact Thawed!Reader kept talking about kissing him, he refused!! Okay so besides that Mari lives Au fic I'm writing rn I have another Omori au fic (it's crack treated srsly so I wanna keep it to myself until I finish it) which long story short is good ending Sunny still jumps bc he thinks his friends can only start healing w/o him there and he wakes up in an OMARI AU where Sunny was in a coma. And there's a lot of different and weird shit so Sunny's way out of his head. It's clear that this is a different reality, not a different timeline.

ANYWAY HERE'S THE BRAIN ROT!!!

So, I've seen quite a few fics where Mari just comes back out of nowhere (usually her grave) and whoever she bumps into first is just hella chill w/ her being back alive after 4 years and they wanna show her off to everyone else??? Like, no shade to the fics, I just didn't find myself particularly liking thos fics and I don't think I finished any.

So I read one where good ending Sunny still jumps and wakes up in an OMARI AU. Basil found him and while he said he killed himself but he also said he went missing (on 2nd read realized Basil was half convincing himself of the latter thing) but it made me think.

I fucking love fiction where someone dies and only one or small amount know this for sure and then that person comes back but SOMETHING IS DEEPLY WRONG. Like,,,yas sign me the fuck up!!! You can do so much w/ that!!!

So this one also is good ending Sunny still jumps and wakes up in an OMARI AU but!!!! Sunny is fucking dead in that one. Our Sunny isn't meant to be here. So in the OMARI AU, Mari shoved/causes Sunny to fall down the stairs and she's weeping over his body trying to get him to wake in as she's in shook and hasn't registered his neck snapped. Hero walks in at this time and sees what's going and realizes quick that, Sunny isn't breathing, he has no pulse.

So he gets Mari to go with him into the woods and they bury him deep in the woods. Ofc she's in shock and dissociating the whole time while Hero is panicking, to parallel Sunny and Basil in the base game.

He get Mari to claim she woke up later than she was supposed to and looked around the house for her brother only to discover the backdoor was open. And that Hero even tried to help look for him. Everyone else thinks Sunny ran away while the teens know what they did and keep quite about it.

A year passes and that's when our Sunny get dumped into this world. He's all dirty and raggedy and wearing clothes he doesn't recognize. He's in the woods and makes his way back to town. Basil (ig? I just know I want one of the younger kids to find him bc they just think he went missing) finds him and is all ecstatic. Treating him and stuff and bombing him with questions. Our Sunny figures out p soon of what's up and that he's not where he should be, but doesn't reveal himself bc who the fuck will believe him? He can't just tell the truth. So he pretends he just...doesn't remember what's he's been up to for the last year. Just a missing persons who came back with no memories of what happened when they were gone. He's know he's heard about cases like that.

Sunny puts on an act of being frustrated and scared that he has this gap in his memories and that he feels like he's dead. Feels like he isn't real and that this isn't real. (Maybe some of his real feelings leaks thorough which makes it all the more convincing.)

So yadda yadda, everyone's over the moon to see he's back and the adults drop the whole 'where've you been?' and 'what happened?' just assuming xyz. Don't look a gifted horse in the mouth.

But Mari...when she sees him she loses it bc I KILLED HIM HES DEAD WE BURIED HIM WE BURIED HIM WE BURIED HIM WE BURIED HIM.

Sunny is happy to just,,,be around a Mari again and acts all clingy while Mari is trying to act normal about it but is terrified inside bc WHAT IS THIS WHO IS HE WHAT IS THIS IN FRONT OF ME IT CANT BE HIM WEBURIEDHIM.

She later come to a conclusion (this scene is why I wanna write this fic in the first place) as she's having a meltdown(?) breakdown(?) to Hero on the phone. At first she thought just maybe that this Sunny was some ghost here to haunt them, or was undead. But the supernatural isn't real so the only logic conclusion she can jump to is 'HE WAS ALIVE AND WE BURIED HIM. OH MY GOD HERO HE WAS ALIVE AND WE BURIED HIM. WE BURIED SUNNY.' She basically is convinced they were wrong about him being dead or maybe just somehow his heart restarted and WE BURIED HIM WE BURIED HIM HE WAS ALIVE AND WE BURIED HIM.

She thinks that Sunny was alive the whole time and woke up after they buried him and dug out of his own grave and the shock of all that made him forget things and just wander off. She think someone probs picked him up (he was found in unfamiliar clothes after all) and finally the shock or mental block finally dropped and he instinctively went back home and doesn't remember what happened to him during the shock state/mental block he had.

Hero on the other hand, isn't convinced that it's Sunny. He knows that happened. He's wasn't breathing, there was no pulse. He held him, he buried him.

That wasn't Sunny.

Hero think's our Sunny is a ghost here to haunt them, then maybe an undead and lastly lands on: SOMETHING IS WEARING HIS SKIN WEARING HIS FACE USING HIS VOICE THAT ISN'T SUNNY SUNNY IS DEAD I BURIED HIM IN THE WOODS LAST YEAR.

HOW DARE YOU LOOK LIKE HIM HOW DARE YOU

So for the last chapter he wants to convince Mari she's wrong. That that thing isn't Sunny. And he wants validation. So he treks into the woods to where they buried him and digs and dig and digs and dig and digs until there's blood. His blood.

And he finds it. Bones. Human bones. Fabric hidden deep in the dirt.

THAT THING WASN'T SUNNY. HE'S RIGHT HERE WHERE I BURIED HIM.

oh god

He turns to look towards town.

its in the house with mari...

OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD THAT THING'S IN THE HOUSE WITH MARI

MARI MARI MARI MARI MARI MARI MARI MARI MARI MARI MARI MARI MARI MARI MARI

Is the only thing he's think as he books it back to town.

And that's the end of the fic. It just stops there. I did say I wanted this to be a short fic. Also sorry this post is sloppy and not that cohesive like my last one but I'm writing this as I go late at night and just wanted to air out my brain rot.

I'm aiming for 5 chapters (won't be adding much filler to this) and I know for sure that it won't go to 10. Probs wanna finish it first, then post the dang thing but it's probs only gonna take me a month to write.

I'm in love with your story, Unexpected. I have read each chapter multiple times. The first chapter is what got me hooked on your writing.

I do have a question though, since y/n is not a client, she can kinda waltz back to his working room yea? What if he is with a client? Or if he just finishes with a client and they walk pass each other in the hallway ? Or she cant walk back there and the front desk people make y/n wait til he is done with a client? I just can't with these scenarios.

My jealous heart would break at any of those listed above lol

I can't put into words how hard I walked for those first two chapters and how deeply personal this story is. The fact that it touched someone deeply is so very rewarding and incredibly moving.🙏

As for your question, it's like you are inside my mind, because I am about to answer some of these question in the next chapters. BUT, since I am not sure when my next update will be, I don't want to leave you hanging, so I am going to share my head canons here for you and anyone else that might be interested.

So, of course neither of them want the employees to know that y/n visits Bucky but she doesn’t pay like a regular customer, that's why they worked their way around it. Bucky has been working there for a while and has made a few close friends. One of them is the receptionist, so he trusted her enough to reveal their little secret, so anytime y/n comes, the receptionist knows she doesn’t have to pay anything. It's not ideal, but if one person knowing the truth was what they needed so they could keep seeing each other, then so be it.

As for the waiting time and area, they always have fixed appointments and Bucky makes sure he lets afew minutes window between the last client and y/n's arrival, so she doesn’t feel uncomfortable. But accidents happen, so unfortunate crossovers may occur at some point…🤫
