Happy new year, my goofball. I know you'll probably hardly be able to read my handwriting... so I'll be happy to repeat this to you in person when I return to the office. For now, I hope you don't mind having this said in a note from some tacky colored envelope!

This year has been... a ride. But, Every second of it was worth it with you. We've gone through a lot. A few rough patches, and some good ones. But I love you, and I know you love me too. Even when you're angry and turn away from me in bed, you still stay close. Our tails wrapped together... I know things have been rough in that pretty brain of yours, but I'm here to tell you that it's okay. I'm not going to ramble about ways to cope or get over it, no. I'm here to tell you that it's okay to feel that way. It is normal and is a process of healing. The other day I heard you mumbling something about yourself. "Pretty as a bag of onions."

I disagree.

You're as pretty as a broken mirror. Do you know why? Because even when shattered and left to pick up those pieces yourself, you're still you. A reflection through broken pieces.

I'm willing to help you put those peices back in their frame, Blitzy. I can't fix you permanently, there will always be those chipped pieces that fell too hard and don't quite attach to the other pieces anymore.. but that's okay. Because they still fit into the frame. And even though broken, they still form a perfectly functioning mirror. Do they not? A little strange and different, but still works and doesn't take long to adjust and get used to.

I could melt and mold your pieces back together... but I do not wish to put you through that. That would be erasing you. You are not you without those pieces. But I can pick the pieces back up again and place them into the frame... and hold them there. Keep them stable. I love you for you, Blitzy. It's why I married you.

Now, when I return to the office...

Fireworks are a bit much, but for hell, I think they give the place something.. pretty to look forward too. Promise you'll watch them with me? ᥫ᭡

I just have to say that I’m really fucking glad that David Howard Thornton and Damien Leone said that Art the Clown will never rape/sexually assault anybody when they make future movies.
