The absolute pure insanity of trying to make sense of the Teen Wolf movie through Tumblr posts has been the highlight of my week and I still have no idea what the actual plot is

Talia, watching this all go down behind a tree: [plotting how to save her son for the FIFTH TIME THIS SKI SEASON who she’s beginning to suspect doesn’t want to be saved]

If I had a nickel for every time Dylan O'Brian ends up in a ship where:

1) the love interest slams him against the walls

2) the love interest chases him when Dylan's character runs into danger

3) he holds up his love interest and helps him escape from danger

4) he ends up with the love interest hurt and with black veins from of a not natural "poison"

5) he and the other actor go along with the idea of the ship

6) the ship is not officially canon but still it's the most famous ship of the show (despite his being in a canon straight relationship)

I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

Big Brown Eyes

One of my headcanons is that Derek has a soft spot for brown eyes.

Then he meets stiles and he has the most big soft bourbon brown eyes he's ever seen and, he cant help but to stare at them everytime he is close. They are fucking charming and Derek is like one single life or death situation away from kissing those pouty sarcastic lips and see if his eyes get darker or sparkle when aroused by him.

Spoiler after the efects of nogitsune they ligth/sparkle orange.

Which no one knew because he was a bit afraid of intimacy since then and didn't try sex anymore after Malia's kind of traumatic experience.

I also like the idea that he accidentaly shocks Derek cause he has a literal spark with in him. And Derek loves it. Derek specially comes to love orange eyes cause it means stiles thinking or doing dirty things with Derek.

At the end Derek just has a soft spot for Stiles.

one more thing about the teen wolf movie, because i’m still not over how bad it was, and i’m taking these few things i liked:

there’s no evidence which would say that derek and stiles aren’t communicating together, on the contrary. when i watched this scene:

“you should be calling your son”, it sounds like a thing derek says more often, - possibly hearing it from stiles, (for my headcanon part - it could be that stiles and his dad had some small argument and aren’t speaking to each other, or avoiding talking.)

And later we even see sheriff's phone, where it seems the past few days hes been in contact with derek and other people, but there’s no stiles -

and that’s why it would be funny to think derek has to listen to both of their sides of their whatever-disagreement,

stiles would be every time like, “he still hasnt called”, so derek could be telling sheriff hes tired of his shit and “can you just call your son? not any fbi agents but specifically your son? thanks, yeah he will be visiting next week, im not gonna say more, you both need to sort it out, at least for eli, so you dont argue in front of him”.

and another thing is the jeep, of course, the jeep.

which ofc, derek doesn’t hate it at all, and we find out in the end how much he doesn’t hate it.

(istill can’t believe this is a real line they said in the movie, but given what other things they’ve said and done in this movie, okay..)

this part in 4x1 is probably the last thing i watched and remembered from the plot, so i will take it as stiles’ decision to never abandon the jeep, and how much it means to him, even with whatever happened in the other two later seasons:

like, tell me stiles knew he wasn’t going to be around in the town for a while bc of his internship, so he left it at home, thinking it will just.. stay there.

but derek thought otherwise - he wanted to keep it running, to fix it.

it’s like this important thing, the jeep, that connects their family, and now it’s eli’s, and derek is still annoyed about it (because he’s alive), but also amused that really that car is eli’s favorite thing just like it was for stiles (and just like derek in that metaphor, it won’t stay down, it keeps running, because again, derek is alive in this version, and everyone is happy and okay. ♥)

You know i totally believe if Stiles was a shifter, he'd be a werefox. I mean look at this face. I can see this foxness, he is a vixen

BUT IN THE SAME TIME in one episode of his life he looked like this. And this, he is freaking Bambi. He is not even a stag in firsts seasons, he is like a fawn

I can see some foxness here and some Bambiness there. So today i choose to live in a reality where Stiles is a fox in deer's clothes (who runs with wolves in sheep's clothes)(btw i don't believe in fics where Stiles turns into a wolf, HE DOESN'T STRIKE ME LIKE WOLF)

My favourite thing about Derek's complicated jeep feelings is that Stiles isn't even dead, he just moved away.

Derek my sweet emotionally constipated bean pick up a phone instead of memorializing the jeep like all your memories of nearly dying in it are precious reminders of your dead wife or something.

Absolutely in love with the fact that the "Stiles Stilinski is Part of the Pack" tag automatically redirects to the "Stiles Stilinski is Part of Derek Hale's Pack" tag.

Because. That's not what that tag, with that phrasing, HAS to mean. The Pack could refer to... ya know... the canon pack he's a part of, in that "reassurance of sticking to canon" way that isn't even rare on AO3.

But no. Nope. AO3 knows what pack we're talking about. And it delights me.

Not gonna lie, I need some fics where stiles and Boyd are friends. Like in “pack mom” and other “stiles is in the hale pack” fics I barely ever see them interact. And I know they didn’t really interact in canon- but this isn’t about canon. I have to god given right to ignore canon.

I just think they would be neat friends. They definitely judge people *cough cough* Derek (sometimes). Like you can’t tell me that they would be an amazing duo, like no understands their friendship but it’s awesome. Like aang and mai from avatar the last airbender

Listen, I've been around the block a couple of times already, and shows that don't want to make a popular queer ship canon often just absolutely RUINS whatever they have created between the two characters so if we don't get canon Buddie, I don't fucking care as long as they keep giving us Buddie scenes. Like, if the price of having Buddie or Buckley-Diaz family scenes is hearing them call each other brother or having completely useless prop girlfriends then whatever. We'll just create our own Buddie headcanons and interpolate their scenes together and survive instead of them not having any or minimum scenes together.
