although i can't go on most amusement park rides anymore; i do have to admit, i kind of miss going to canobie lake park in the summer.

the boston tea party was my favorite ride (probably the only one i could still go on now tbh lol)

images don't do it justice, seriously look up a vid of this thing. the ending splash is incredible, i can still hear the sound it makes lol we'd be soaked for hours after riding it or standing around waiting for the wave.

one of the last times we visited canobie, we went on the ride close to closing time and there was no line. the ride operator would ask if we wanted to be launched again each time we came back, we must've went around 8 times or so lmaoo. such fond memories c:

It was good!! My parents and sis took me out to Cheesecake Factory for dinner, we came home, had some cake and watched The Old Guard, by my request XD

My sis and I were originally going to go to Canobie Lake Park for the day, but there were thunderstorms all afternoon, so we're postponing that for a few weeks. Oh well! Still, a pretty good birthday :D

Honestly if you’d’a told me three years ago that I’d get to ride an RMC hybrid coaster AND America’s first dive coaster I wouldn’t have believed you. I’ve been really lucky with being able to get to busch gardens while living down here and I hope that I can start to travel to other theme parks around now that I get paid time off lmao. I think my first stop will be Dollywood (my mom wants to go lol) but I also wanna hit busch gardens Williamsburg and eventually I wanna hit King’s Island and Cedar Point but they’re a good deal further away and I need to genuinely plan all that. I’d also like to get to six flags fiesta Texas (and some of the other six flags) eventually but again far away.

I also might try and get back to Kennywood at some point I went there when I was like 11 and got the shit scared out of me by the Noah’s arc walkthrough (I’ll tell that story another day) but other than that I don’t remember much of the park which is a shame cause it’s one of America’s only remaining trolley parks and I loooooove trolley parks. The only other one I’ve been to is Canobie Lake up in New Hampshire and it’s a lot smaller but it’s a real cute local park and I think most people don’t even know about its history as a trolley park. I’ve also been to a number of the oldest continuously operating carousels in the country cause a number of them are in New England so sometimes you just. End up at an old carousel. It’s good fun.
