Ive been suuuper super into corru.observer by @corruworks for the past week or so and I cannotttt get it out of my mind. Its so crazy good!!!! The vibes the music the art direction the game itself and THE LORE!!!! I can't do anything but praise it and recommend it recklessly so I am now recommending it to everyone here. This story and its execution has changed my brain forever so if you are ever so slightly curious definitely check it out 🙏🙏🙏

I love the fact that someone else also plays non mage red hawke. People kept telling me I was playing it wrong because I wasn't romancing fenris with a mage hawke and romanced him with a red hawke warrior. I just don't enjoy following canon lmao, since the canon hawke is a male mage sarcastic hawke, I did the exact opposite. People also kept telling me that the only way to play fenris' romance is with a mage purple hawke so i thought you know what im gonna do the exact opposite and i really enjoyed their dynamic in the end. Did the same thing with dao people kept saying best way to romance morrigan was with mahariel so i romanced her with a brosca dwarf warden.🤣🤣

Currently doing a da2 replay and I will be romancing anders and isabela in the next run though. I love them both and couldn't decide so I thought what better way to romance them than with the poly mod and do it all at once. 😂

dude i had the exact same logic 😭 i love purple hawke and i love carver (i say carver and not mage hawke because i really really hate playing mages .) but i feel like That Specific Playthrough is so oversaturated by fandom that it kind of destroys the novelty after awhile. like it starts getting a bit irritating when every post about hawke treats them like an established entity. mage hawke is one thing and in a way i think it does make a sort of sense that That's the fan consensus because of how the story plays out with mages in the game. but the way purple garrett is like seemingly universally treated like the definitive version of that character is obnoxious LOL

Also I gave them an actual eye color instead of just the outline color because it looked a bit like they were glaring at you instead of a sort of welcoming look. I also tried to give them the freckles on their face but it wasn't really working that well, sorry!

Very cute attention to detail. I imagine it's probably not easy to include freckles on a small pixel sprite, but I love that you included some on their arms!! Freckled Clover my beloved. The bandana looks so cute too! I think you translated the eyes really well, they look so friendly!

Deitsuano: The Butterfly and Flower's Cage

I finished this otome game recently and haven't been able to stop thinking about it. If you know Japanese and enjoy otome games with a bit of horror, I HIGHLY recommend this. (It's completely free!)

I'm not going to go into why, exactly, I love this game so much because I would need to dive DEEP into spoiler territory to explain it all, but I'll give a brief introduction to the characters and story. Hopefully I'll be able to convince you to give it a try!

First, we have the heroine: Kokonoe Kasumi (her first name can be changed)

She was originally a noble, but her family fell into debt and her parents passed away. She started working as a waitress in order to pay off her debts under the assumed name of "Sakura." At the start of the story, she has been receiving strange gifts from an anonymous admirer and decides to ask her childhood friend for advice...

Her childhood friend (and my favorite character): Utashiro Tobari

He was originally the main character's fiancée before her family fell into debt. He's friendly, smart, energetic, and the heir of a wealthy family, which makes him rather popular. But he (quite obviously) still has feelings for the main character, and is often insisting that she should quit her job and move in with him.

Tobari's friend: Hirai Kyoutarou

He accompanied Tobari to hear the main character out about her secret admirer. He's a bit too serious and hates to lose, so he has trouble getting along with someone easygoing like Tobari. He's a huge bookworm and a bit shy (especially around girls,) but he's willing to help the main character without question.

The main character's regular customer: Tachibana Yahiro

He's popular among the waitresses at the café the main character works at, but he always asks for her to serve him. Despite him being a customer, the main character often finds herself confiding in him. He has even offered to help her solve the case with her secret admirer if she has no one else to consult.

The veteran waitress: Kyouko

The main character's senior at work. She comes off as cold and aloof, so many of the waitresses at the café have a hard time reaching out to her. She's also quite reserved and doesn't talk about herself much. Still, she's willing to help out the main character whenever she needs and teach her how to become an elite waitress.

I'm not going to say much else cuz I think it's so much better to experience it yourself, but believe me when I say there is a lot more to the characters than first meets the eye. It's been a while since a game has knocked my socks off with its twists like this game has.

Plus, most importantly, this is the only game that has Utashiro Tobari. No one does it like Tobari does.
