I find it so weird how they gave Iroha a plush in the anime that looks exactly like Candy. Like... why..? I just feel like it's important for some reason... Or... am I looking way too deep into it and it was just a teaser as to who was to come

Makes me wonder if the rabbit is an actual real world mascot/character in the series and Candy is just based on her. We've seen this before as Kuroe's witch form is based on her plush. It's just weird that you don't see this Candy character elsewhere... you'd think it'd be a bigger thing... Candy's magi seems either young or immature so I think it's plausible if she'd fixate on a cute character like this (also she seems to like rabbits from her labyrinth)

Like I said, it could probably mean nothing but I wanted to theorise on it XD

Also, in light of the new pmmm movie coming out soon (I am also in love with madoka magicia), which magical girls would you assign to each GF character? It can also be characters from Magia Record! I haven’t caught up to the storylines of all those magical girls yet though.

favorite character syndrome makes me want to put madoka and stan in the same category. AND THEY KINDA ARE. they both give up themselves to save the world and the people they love (esp because theyve struggled with self worth issues their entire life). BUT ALSO. god stan's whole thing was chaining himself to gravity falls to try and get ford back for 30 years and ... if that aint homura-core ... i dont know what else is...

going off that fanart you rbed from fillerfarts, ford and homura are. very similar esp personality wise. and also being huge criminals with large arsenals of weaponry. ford's quantom distabilizer and homura's nukes are like. the same to me. same energy

the other characters i feel are kinda hard to associate characters with? no one really slots up neatly from the GF cast to the madomagi cast. kyoko and wendy have surface level similarities, but even then kyoko's a hot head while wendy's whole thing is that she's always chill. i think maybe dipper and mabel come close to the sayaka & kyoko relationship? one trying so hard to live up to the idea of a hero and isolating themself while the other reminds them its okay to not be alone. but even then i think maybe its a stretch from me? kyosaya is so good and so specific. if i twist my brain i could see dipper being like sayaka and mabel being the kyoko to that? if youre pickin up what im puttin down? but also i sound like this

mami is such a funny outlier. only girl to not be cursed with yuri instead shes cursed with Insta Death LOLOLOL. god maybe at most i could associate fiddleford with mami? maybe? but thats me also stretching like an olympian

RAAAGHHGHH i just feel like we got lucky with the stans because theyre the only ones with a weirdo fucked up THING going on. the rest of the gravity falls cast are relatively normal, its just the stans are the crazy people. meanwhile everyone in madomagi has something crazy going on

AS FOR THE MAGIA RECORD GIRLS!!!! HONESTLY ??? i uh. erm. i dont really care for magia record (gets boo'd off the stage). ITS A CUTE MOBILE GAME FOR SURE some of the designs are fun but i feel like its just a jank add on to the madomagi story. like im glad its not canon, its just one of the Many Timelines homura goes through that branches off to a happy ending of defeating walpurgisnacht (in the game. the anime is different). i watched the anime and tried to get into the mobile game but it just didnt have the same punch. nothing will ever grab me the way homura and madokas freak situationship did, especially cus everyone in magia record is so Normal by comparison LOLOL

I have been waiting for this character to be introduced ever since that one official photo from the Pili Fantasy Land exhibit last fall (above) and SHE IS IN THIS WEEK'S EPISODE!!! I'll be astonished if Fú Ěr Léi Yī (Fujirai) survives the season, but she better not get killed off without committing extreme acts of puppet violence with the parasol first, I don't think that's too much to ask.

(When I show this image to Madoka Magica fans, everybody's first reaction is "MAMI!" but design-wise, she's more like a grown-up Touka Satomi from Magia Record.)

Yes, the parasol is striped like a candy cane and it's awesome. Will Shang have more umbrella PTSD when he sees it? Can the puppeteers please stage an UMBRELLA FIGHT between them in a live performance, since we probably won't be getting one on screen?? I live in hope.

I had an urge to design some new magical witches. It's hard when I've already finished so many, I have to scrounge to find new ones. Here are designs for the beta Candy, Uwasa of peeping castle town and some anime witches.

MC and Sebastian have a romantic date (or a business snag as you prefer) and ask Eleazar to babysit little Miriam for a few hours and just then Miriam decides to develop accidental magic (shooting fire from her mouth etc. )

will also add a silly drawing later. this gave me "jack jack attack" vibes

Fig waved goodbye from his doorstep, also grabbing little Miriam's hand to wave goodbye to her parents. The young couple had the privilege to be invited to a gala celebrating something or other at the Ministry, or like Sebastian liked to explain it "to suffer through a night of schmoozing and networking".

Well, if EmSea wanted to become Minister she had to schmooze and network as much as possible. And Ominis would be there to help them. Fig wasn't too worried about his girl's ambitions.

"How about we have some dinner and then we listen to music while we do our homework?"

Miriam was only five years old, way too young to go to Hogwarts, but with parents like hers, she had been introduced to magical and muggle culture and history from the moment she was born. Sebastian, mainly, loved to read to her and he taught her how to read in record time. EmSea, on her part, liked to stroll in muggle London, taking her daughter with her so she could understand muggles were as human as wizarkin. So far, it seemed like the little girl loved all the muggle items she saw in her walks, but also all the old traditions wizards practice.

And she was already showing signs of powerful magic.

Fig never saw any of this, but according to Sebastian and EmSea, little Miriam was proficient at the summoning charm. There was nowhere in their house where they could hide the cookies or candy. Miriam always found them or summoned them from their places to her little hands.

At least she hadn't shown any ancient magic yet. Fig didn't know for sure how EmSea grew up or how dangerous her accidental magic was, but he hoped little Miriam didn't face the same obstacles as her mom did.

Miriam wouldn't have to hide her magic, bury it so deep it only came out under duress at her almost fifteen years old... No. Fig, along with Sebastian, EmSea, and Ominis (who has been an excellent godfather so far) would make sure Miriam grew up loved and safe and developing her magic to her full potential.

So, thinking about the books he read about kids' healthy development, Fig played some classic music that was supposed to help with attention and mind awareness.

"I like that," Miriam babbled, dutifully coloring the book her father left her with. "It's... relaxing," she giggled, laying her head on top of the book.

Fig smirked, glad the child liked it. He sat on his sofa with the new year's lesson plan and focused on correcting it. His apprentice was good but still needed some corrections here and there, specifically when organizing the topics from general to specific.

He wasn't sure how much time went by, but suddenly he realized Miriam had been way too quiet for a little five-year-old. He peeked over his papers and froze when he saw her missing.

"Shoot," he jumped to his feet, trying not to panic. "Ok, ok, it's ok. The wards won't let her go out, she has to be here," he looked around. The flat wasn't too big: a kitchen, a dining space, the living space he was currently standing in, two bedrooms, and one bathroom. "Miriam?" He called. "Where are you, you little snidget?"

Nothing.

Then.

Giggles echoed around him, sending shivers down his spine and making him look around with anxiety.

"I knew EmSea was a demon but why did she have a demon baby?" He muttered, then walked to the hallway that led to EmSea's old room. "Miriam?"

Something popped behind him, making him flinch and turn with his wand in hand.

There was nothing there.

Another 'pop'. Then another. And another. Surrounding him.

"Oh my dear Merlin, Miriam, are you apparating!?" He cried. "That's. that's dangerous, dear! Just- Hey! Who wants a cookie?"

Pop!

Miriam apparated right into his arms. He grunted and caught her before she could fall.

"I like cookies, gran'pa," Miriam grinned innocently.

"Yeah, ok," Fig sighed, tightening his hold on her. "But no more apparating. And your mom said only one before going to bed."

Miriam frowned but kept quiet as Fig took her to the kitchen. Her wide brown eyes observed as he opened the cupboard over the sink and revealed the full jar of cookies. He grabbed only one.

"Here, let's go back to sitting, shall we?"

Miriam munched on her cookie, but her eyes were glued to the cupboard.

Suddenly, it caught on fire.

"Fuck!" Fig shouted, placing Miriam on the floor. "Shit. No- Don't- Don't repeat those words, ok darling?" Then he ran back to the kitchen, trying to stop the fire with a couple of spells.

When the fire died out, he turned to make sure Miriam wasn't injured.

He found her munching on more cookies, jar safely guarded between her legs.

"This is going be a long night, isn't it?"

Miriam giggled.

Then floated.

The music didn't sound so relaxing anymore.

Hi just wanted to let you know that after finishing the Hop & Hau PMMM posts that I am now drafting a fanfic in my head where

So basically The two Warlocks Sayf and Kinimaka somehow meet, idk how w/ the regional differences but they do

And Sayf is like "well this is a nice barrier, I like it a lot, but I have audience expectations and a legacy to live up to" and Kinimaka is very firm about no disturbance to his heaven

So Sayf does the most logical thing he can do

And just surrounds the weaker warlock's barrier with his own

See? Aren't you so much safer with my protection? If anybody were to enter you heaven and threaten it? I'll just snatch them up and make a spectacle upon which my audience will cheer

(It's basically Hala and the "being to soft on the boy" and sheltering theme all over again yippee!)

And if any of my challenger prove too disappointing, unwilling to fight? Off to you they go

Maybe they set up a routine, where Sayf spends some time in Kinimaka's barrier just to indulge in the escapism of it, then returning to his own barrier when the itch for battle becomes too much

And Kinimaka? Doubt he'd be pleased that Sayf refuses to become lcl one w/ his barrier, but hey at least he comes back routinely, and even gives or takes humans that'd be perfect for either

Friendship/Puppy Love, but you're two Eldritch abominations doomed to drown in despair

I won't be surprised if the more likely outcome was that Sayf and Kinimaka fought and the former won

But hey I like the idea of warlocks/witches/magicians being friendly w/ one another

Actually, it is very possible for witches to migrate from one point to another, as presented to us in Magia Record; the issue for when it comes to those within the Pokemon universe, however, is the issue of adaptability and not being aware of how things work in the region they've arrived in due to their despair-clouded minds. For example, if a witch arrived in Alola and targeted another one in a fight, you'd bet the others there won't be so happy (because themes of unity and all, as well as the fact that witches there only target other people and pokemon- not their kin); queue the torches, pitchforks, and cotton candy.

Thankfully, even as a warlock, Sayf still retains his intelligence somewhat- even if it is as much as, let's say, to the levels of Winchester's. I think he'd be able to catch on to how things operate in the region- and even if he made a slip-up, he's tough enough to take on an angry mob of witches before realizing the gravity of his mistake.

As for the two goobers themselves and how they interact, you've captured that SO WELL <3333 I adore the healthy, albeit mutually parasitic, relationship they have going on; Sayf managing to be a hero to at least one person, while Kealamauloa, while disappointed that this new friend of his won't accept eternal happiness, is at least enjoying some company and is appreciative of how he's making his goals easier.

I cannot bear to see how unlucky their victims are gonna be and the kind of whiplash they'll be constantly forced to experience, lmao; one second you've found yourself trapped in a dingy, dim hallway before facing off against a mutilated black sheep donning gladiator armor. However, as you continue running for your life and do everything in your power NOT to engage in a fight with him, he gets so bored and disappointed with you that he just throws you to a nice bright paradise where a friendly dragon resides.

The irony in their situations is also amazing to point out; Sayf's pursuit of glory still hasn't stopped, and Keals is, once more, sheltered in one way or the other.

I also REALLY want them to talk about their problems; the memories of their human lives may be hazy from the madness, but the similarities and contrasts between the way they were both raised - one was emotionally neglected by all but the one person he now sees as his perfect, all-powerful hero, and the other was showered with love- yet that did nothing to stop him from seeing the truth of this world - would make an interesting topic for conversation. I could also see Sayf making sure the flora growing from Keals doesn't get too irritating, and Kealamauloa would try to make sure Sayf isn't suffering too much from his injuries by allowing him to relax and heal every once in a while.

And yep- Sayf would clear if such a fight were to occur. Kealamauloa may be able to wipe a town or even a city clean if he wanted to, but Sayf had managed to screw over all of Galar (whether or not the Isle of Armor and the Crown Tundra have been affected is up to ya'll's imaginations). I don't think I've elaborated too much on how exactly that happened aside from the people gradually going cuckoo-bananas, but, as a brief summary- think Roaring Town from the Ash-Veil Lane ARG and, once Sayf was at his full power and the region was in his hands, Hell from 'the (aka Coronation Day) with the trumpets and everything. I also forgot to mention that he did all that without the use of a witch's kiss/warlock's whisper thanks to Hop's powers of creating new memories- sorry for neglecting that detail!

Yeah- witches being friendly to one another is always a great basis for a tale like this; that's why this blog exists! Personally, I like to reimagine that this blog is a labyrinth that exists within the borders of the multiverse, and witches tend to pass by every once in a while just to share their stories and have a cup of joe every now and then. I'unno, but the idea of eldritch abominations just chilling in a 50's diner was just too cute of an idea to pass up!

Back to our goobers, Keals is already kind enough to most humans and witches that pass by their labyrinth, and so long as Sayf doesn't do anything too stupid and causes shit, the same mercy is extended to him. Have no worries, anon, the possibility of them being pals is there within the canon of this hypothetical AU! In fact, as I've already explained, most witches in Alola prefer to cooperate with one another rather than fight over their own territories.

Overall, you have no idea how receiving this has made my day!! Thank you so, so, so much for this!!! <333
