Musical Spy x Family Returns to the Stage in 2025

I don't know how I missed this, but it was announced earlier this week that the Spy x Family musical, which premiered in spring 2023, will be restaged in fall 2025.

With this announcement, it was also revealed that several cast members will return with the show. This includes:

Win Morisaki as Loid Forger Fuka Yuzuki as Yor Forger Tsubasa Takizawa as Yuri Briar Nonoka Yamaguchi as Fiona Frost Soma Suzuki as Henry Henderson Manato Asaka as Sylvia Sherwood

Newly confirmed cast members include

Genki Hirataka as Lord Forger Sora Kazuki as Yor Forger Sion Yoshitaka as Yuri Briar Shogo Suzuki as Franky Franklin

In addition, a new casting search will take place to find the four actresses who will portray Anya.

This production will hold its preview in Kawagoe in Sept. 2025 before traveling to Tokyo in October, Osaka and Fukuoka in November, and finally, Yamagata, Shizuoka, and Aichi in December. And as far as I can tell, this seems to be a restaging of the original musical rather than a continuation of it (adapting the next chapters/arcs). Either way, very excited to see this musical return.

LACUNA COIL Recruits INVERNO Guitarist DANIELE SALOMONE

Italian guitarist/producer Daniele Salomone has confirmed that he has joined LACUNA COIL as the replacement for the band's longtime guitarist Diego Cavallotti.

Earlier today, Salomone took to his Instagram to share a photo and a short clip from LACUNA COIL's video shoot for the song "Oxygen" and he included the following message: "I'm so grateful to @lacunacoilofficial for this amazing experience . I'm very honoured to help them. I want to thanks a lot @cristinascabbia @maki @andrea_ferro_official & @richardmeiz (aka pastafrollo) for trusted me. so yes guys the Unknown man it's me …"

Salomone made his live debut with LACUNA COIL on August 4 at the Rockstadt Extreme Fest in Râșnov, Romania.

This past June, LACUNA COIL announced Cavallotti's departure. Diego, who joined LACUNA COIL in 2016, initially as a fill-in guitarist following the exit of Marco "Maus" Biazzi, later said in a social media post that "this decision is not the result of my dissatisfaction or desire to explore new opportunities."

When LACUNA COIL announced Cavallotti's exit on June 17, the band wrote in a statement: "As we step into a new cycle, writing and recording our next album, we are parting ways with Diego 'DD' Cavallotti. We thank him for the many unforgettable moments shared over the years and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.

"All future live plans remain unchanged and the new songs are taking form, we can't wait to share them with our fans."

Cavallotti and Salomone played together in the Italian metal band INVERNO, which released its debut album, "Stasis", in December 2023.

LACUNA COIL will release its tenth studio album, "Sleepless Empire" — the band's first collection of new songs since 2019's "Black Anima" — on February 14th, 2025 via Century Media Records.

Inspiration to create "Sleepless Empire" came during the sessions for "Comalies XX" (2022),the acclaimed remake of LACUNA COIL's breakthrough third record "Comalies". Writing and recording took place in northern Italy between Milano (the band's hometown) and Como, where SPVN Studios are located. As with their previous albums, production was done in house with Marco "Maki" Coti Zelati at the helm, and artwork was hand curated by the talented Italian artist Roberto Toderico. Two other very special talents enrich the album, namely the guest vocalists: LAMB OF GOD's Randy Blythe on the song "Hosting The Shadow" and NEW YEARS DAY's Ash Costello on "In The Mean Time".

Heya :) it's been a while!

Hi, my name is Dolly (she/her) and I've had this blog for quite some time! In the past I've done things like open up free readings, or create discord servers as a way to feel a sense of community, but this time around I think I'm okay with just being here instead of seeking attention and validation. Pool! Like, as in billiards! Super random but it's fun and I've gotten a lot better over the past couple years!

Pretty much any hobby ever! Soap making, candle making, baking, embroidery, hand sewing, cosmetic making, jewelry making, singing, makeup, playing instruments, I just love to do it all.

How do you think the Lost Boys would handle technology if they reach 2000s? Like cameras -- would they get caught sooner because of it? Or cellphones -- would they even have one? Would they even be able to use it/charge it if they did?

(Assuming that vampires in this universe specifically don't appear in mirrors or film because of silver being used in the production of both...)

I think, once the digital age is alive and well and suddenly they can appear on camera, it's going to be a love-hate relationship.

On one hand, Santa Carla has one hell of a security camera sabotage scheme going on. Every time a new camera is installed, its cord is either sliced clean through or the lens is spray-painted black, and no one is ever seen doing it! Eventually, the shopkeepers learn that outside cameras are just not viable in this town, so they leave the damaged ones up as deterrents for the tourists and only keep functioning ones pointed directly at their cashiers.

Cellphones, at least at first, are a novelty. The boys have telepathy, who needs a phone? But occasionally Paul and Marko get ahold of two phones and play around, calling each other back and forth, telling stupid jokes, or pretending to be important businessmen until the batteries run out and they toss them like trash.

When GPS gets introduced to cellphones, Max gets a little nervous about them. (He has always got the latest model, but only keeps it with him between work and home.) He worries that tracking the phones will make it easier for police to find bodies or evidence. So now the Boys are told, "No mucking around with cellphones, especially the ones you pick up off victims. In fact, destroy them immediately and toss them in the sea."

Now, I have no doubt that these rascals have Max-flavored Demand Avoidance, and suddenly cellphones are a forbidden fruit. David may insist on tossing victims' phones, but now Paul, Marko, and even Dwayne are lifting phones off people on the boardwalk.

The first time they realize they can order pizza delivery to just about anywhere is a revelation. They get a blood bag delivered, the pizza they ordered for free, any other pizza that may be in his car, and all the cash that he's received that night. Max loses his mind when he finds out.

But THEN, camera phones become widespread, and suddenly they can take photos and record videos of each other. Even David can't resist this. So there are photos of Paul jumping off cliffs, and Marko records the pigeons cooing and strutting and David is checking his hair, and there are photos of Dwayne modeling his new jacket...but they still don't have electricity, so eventually the phones die, but these they keep. Like an old archive, there's a cellphone graveyard in the cave that they can't really use, but can't bring themselves to get rid of. Maybe on occasion, they pull one or two out and find a public outlet in a diner or something to charge them. The service has long been canceled, so they can't call or text, but the photos are still there.

I remember back when I had an old Nokia phone, I had a bejeweled trial on it, but my parents didn't even pay for texts, much less games. So I just played that bejeweled trial over and over, anytime I got bored. I can see Dwayne or David fucking around on the games, even the trials when they're standing by their bikes, having a smoke, waiting for the other two to return.

The availability of porn steeply increases the local cellphone theft rates.

When MP3 players become widespread that's an entirely new revelation. Suddenly they don't need all these tapes and CDs, or this bulky CD player. It's just this neat little device that fits into their pockets. Suddenly the need to keep a device charged is stronger than their short attention spans. Sure they keep the boombox around for the cave, but the personal players are so useful. Now when David's in a mood and they can't use the stereo, they can go to their little corners and still jam. When someone is feeling broody, they can take their player and go for a walk (or a flight). This may prompt them to work out a generator setup with outlets in the cave. Or maybe they just include a stop by some public outlets in their nightly activities.

I don't think computers or laptops will really hold their interest too much. They may enjoy grabbing one at the library every now and then to look something up or add music to their players, but otherwise, that just seems like a waste of time. I think portability is the name of the game for their technology usage.

Kindles and eReaders though, I think that's going to be a hit with David and/or Dwayne. They keep books in the cave, they may even prefer to read physical books, but there's probably some difficulty keeping them from molding in the wet sea air and getting damaged from repeat readings. Plus the eReaders can fit just so many books into such a tiny space. (The image of David reading on a tablet in his wheelchair is just so vivid for me, rn.)

But also consider: some types of touch screens having difficulty picking up on their touch, lmao

Firstly!

Let's talk about her direct involvement with bts, which was for Layover. Tae approached her and she talked about it just once and EVEN THEN, she made it seem like she was very busy but still took up the "opportunity".

I can't help but feel bad for Tae, because this woman was literally seeing a shaman🧙 praying for bts to be eliminated from her path to success.

We know MHJ always likes them 'young' and look at how she directed Layover concept shoot-

I can't help but imagine since how long she has prayed for bangpd and bts's downfall. For how long has she tried make a group bigger than them? Right from her SM days.

And when bangpd slithered and crawled to her to help create a Girl group, she didn't hesitate at all. She knew no other label would make that big of an investment and it would also be Hybe(BTS label) first girl group, first female juniors to BTS. She had the opportunity handed to her on a golden platter.

Obviously not all defamation and malicious news about bts members were by her, but a lot of them could be??! I mean she clearly doesn't respect BTS's achievements at all??

But what affects me most-

Is how Hybe itself and Bangpd himself are treating BTS since the hiatus. They thought if they bring bts down, downplay their achievements and not post about the hot 100 jm got without his support, they would clear the way for other Hybe groups to rise?? Seventeen, txt, new jeans -

All of these groups have articles written on them in a way that DOWNPLAYS BTS.

It seems very intentional. Which brings me to my next thought-

Why is Hybe trying so hard to make other groups relevant? Trying out all formulas? Paying the media?

Do they already know something about BTS member's possible intentions? What is the new contract that BTS signed? I'm sure that contract is not something that can tie bts to Hybe like a slave. Each bts member is a big enough artist to have their own independence with more than enough money to buy themselves out of the contract.

Thirdly!

What is still baffling to me is while Hybe was giving billboard awards, playlisting, music videos and tiktok push to NewJeans, Jimin got none of that, despite being nominated.

I know it must have rattled bangpd's brain when jimin was able to achieve a full blown success without an ounce of his support. Jimin and his success was fully because of jm, pdogg and his production team. And no one else. Just pure, organic success. I wonder what MHJ thought about it? Did she go running to Bangpd and throw a fit about how BTS isn't supposed to be stealing all the attention? That BTS was still carrying kpop on their back even as soloists? I'm sure it rattled a lot of people in Hybe AS WELL AS Scooter.

No wonder Jimin separated himself from all those snakes in the building while making his album.

Can't scroll through any social media without reporting/blocking an ad every other post. Personal creations get no traction. Endless amounts of art tossed into the void only to get drowned out beneath ads or bad faith opinions from someone with 100k followers (majority of whom are either bought or bots) who's completely lost touch with reality. Most social media runs exclusively off of a negative feedback loop, you spend so much time being angry at someone who hit post on something just for clicks. They don't think about you, they don't think about consequences because they're making $ off of you being upset.

Can't drive down a highway without being blinded by full LED screens bigger than my house advertising businesses I've known about for 10+ years. The cost of keeping every light on all 25 billboards in a 10 mile stretch would cover the cost of universal housing for the local area for 5+ years. 5 more storage units pop up in whatever land is left for sale.

Can't listen to a streaming service without an ad after every song. Can't listen to podcasts without 10-20 minutes of paid advertisements; all of them are either gacha games (gambling), weight-loss fads, pyramid schemes, therapy with unlicensed physicians who data mine your personal info or some brand you'd have to be living under a rock to not know. Every YouTube content creator makes videos exclusively about covering some topic or fad you should avoid on TikTok, seemingly bringing the topics even more attention than it had before; 30 minutes long with a 10 minute paid advertisement in the middle.

Can't make important phone calls without being met with automated help systems that never have an option for the issue you're having. If you're lucky enough to get sent to a real person you end up waiting 15+ minutes on hold and most of the time get disconnected before you get through, successfully wasting 30 minutes to an hour of you're limited free time.

Every streaming service has new shows and movies every day. One season, three if you're really lucky. And no more 12-24 episode series, now its 8 episodes, because that's whats bingeable. Nothing good approved for more than 2 seasons and maybe a double feature movie to tie up all of the loose ends they thought they had time to finish up before they dared to put a queer character in their cast. Is buying the media physically worth an ad every 20 minutes? Does it even exist physically; or is it another series that'll be lost to time because corporate noticed they can't make an extra $0.05 on every stream.

Every other ad is temu or shein, every product photo is blatantly ripped off of some individual creator on etsy who handmade the item and hasn't gotten a sale in 6 months. Every corporation relies on stealing from solo artists and creators and mass-producing their one-of-a-kind pieces. If they're lucky enough they'll be allowed to do a collab with a big company, all so they can make 2% of the profit.

All of this on top of having to work however many hours you need to to survive, to get by on (probably) the bare minimum, to scrape by. To pay rent to someone who owns 15 properties and charges you double what they pay monthly. Hoping (for your wallet's sake) that you don't have any emergencies lest you empty out what little savings you've been able to put aside. You get maybe 3 hours of free time in your day between keeping up with household needs. All of that, only to have to fight your way through all of the advertisements to try to enjoy the few minutes of free time you get for yourself.

I wish I could put this into words in a more palatable way, but I'm just so tired of being frustrated that so much of my limited time on earth is being wasted so someone else can make $0.0005 on 30 seconds of my life. I'm tired of being advertised to. There's so few places left worth my time on the internet anymore, because they prioritize a few cents to the ceo over me.

600, or a musing on resilience and love

Hello all you wonderful figthusiasts! Today is the day that I hit 600 fan figs on my spreadsheet total (not all in hand, the vast majority are in some stage of production or transport), and I wanted to take a minute to stop and celebrate what is, by all accounts, an incredible number.

This is less about me (and my perhaps fiscally-questionable use of disposable cash) and more about the fact that more than 600 individual figures of Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan were produced and made solely by fans. That this many actually exist in the world. What this is about, above all other things, is about love, and resilience, and the awe-inspiring, unstoppable combination of both.

I don't normally talk about the current situation with Zhang Zhehan and Chinese entertainment, because this blog is meant to be a little island of happiness and fun for us that love this show, love these two actors, and love seeing cute renditions of them. But 600...well, 600 feels powerful. It feels like something worth talking about.

This fandom has had half of our vibrant, beautiful soul ripped from us in the nastiest, cruelest, most contemptible way possible. This is greed and evil in the most overt form I've seen in the world, and it was horrifying to watch it unfold that August.

As overseas fans, we at least can still see Zhang Zhehan's past works, post videos and photos of him, and freely say his name as much as we want. The Chinese fandom cannot. Zhang Zhehan has been so comprehensively erased from Chinese media that he cannot even use his own name. The fandom can't even search for his name online, his pictures and videos have been removed, and any of the shows or movies that feature him that remains still available has him (literally) scrubbed from the screen.

This is what I see when I search for Zhang Zhehan on Taobao, Weidian, and Xianyu:

The Chinese fans have taken matters into their own hands, and stood up and fought back and refused to forget him. The fig makers, the doll makers, the merch makers - all of these incredibly brave, loyal, and loving fans have gone out there and dedicated thousands and thousands of hours of their own time and their own money to keeping his memory fresh, his work front and center, and his light constantly burning.

They took him from the fans, but they can't make the fans let him go.

Luckily, the fandom still has the other half of it's soul, and continues to celebrate Gong Jun and his accomplishments, and his own fiercely loyal and great heart, and celebrates the love and affection and care these two souls have for each other. Zhehan promised Junjun forever on May 5th, 2021, and the fandom honors and helps keep his promise.

Think about it. Six-hundred-plus fan-created figurines of the two of them. I don't even own all the fan figs - there's absolutely more than this, I'd estimate closer to 700.

There's Wenzhou figs, of course, but random side character in a long ago TV show? Check. Main characters? Check. Appearance(s) on a variety show? Check. Ad campaigns? (Lots of) magazine shoots? Check check. Casual airport outfit? Workout pose? Douyin moment? any number of Weibo posts? Livestream? not just one, not just two, not just three, renditions of childhood photos? Check check check.

And the figs are still coming. I have a whole list of figs in sketch form sitting in my Weidian cart, waiting to be opened for deposits. One after another, fig makers dipping deep into their precious hoards of recorded shows and magazines and photos and videos of Zhehan, designing one fig after another. Every time Junjun wears some fancy new designer outfit, fans are hard at work pairing that look with a complementary one from Zhehan's archive, determined to keep these two front and center in a country where they can't even type Zhehan's name into a search engine without it being censored.

My respect for the Chinese fandom and the fan creators is immense. They have souls of steel. Every time I hold one of these figs in my hand, and marvel at the cleverness and creativity and all the fine little details, I feel the strength of that connection to them, that iron determination, the fierce will to persevere, that pride and joy, and the love that can't be stopped. 坚强 indeed.

Yeah, 600+ figs is a trauma response, no question. For the fan makers and the fan buyers. But it's a response, all right. Today I have 600 and more tiny (giant) shouts of, you can't stop us, we're going to keep loving and celebrating and remembering him no matter what happens.

It's incredible. I don't know why 600 is the number that really hits me - I had thought it would be 500, but I blew past 500 without blinking in a frenzy of late night and early morning fig drops, and then it was Gong Jun's birthday, and a tidal wave of love and figs, and now here I am. I was at 598 yesterday and already today I'm at 612. I'll be at 700 before I know it, with a lot of remainders starting to be released and the Spring Festival coming up.

I have less than 200 fan figs actually at home, and it's ... a lot. My husband asked me a while back, staring at my display shelves, so, what's the end game here? and I just looked at him, and said, I don't know.

I really don't. I have to believe this is totally unprecedented, but then again, what happened to him is totally unprecedented. The only thing I know that if the fans keep making them, I'm going to keep supporting them.

So here's to resistance, and resilience, and love. Here's to the fans staying strong, and here's to Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan. It's going to be a glorious sunrise on the mountaintop when it comes.

With fans outside in their jackets taking a bunch of photos and videos with their cameras, BTS were sitting in the studio of Wide News with the two MCs. Jen sat in between V and Suga in the back row.

"It's D-1 to Valentine's right? We've fulfilled nationwide teenage girls' and boys' wishes in advance!" The MCs greet. "With flowery visuals, we're here with the 7 boys and our lovely lady of BTS, hello!"

"2, 3, bang-tan!" Rapmon quickly announced.

"Hello, we're BTS!" They greet and bow.

"You've become more impacting really how long has it been?" The female MC questioned

"4 months?" Rapmon answered

"It's been 4 months?" The MCs look on in surprise. "It feels as though it's been 4 years! We missed you all so much. Since our viewers have missed you guys a lot as well, please do your self-introductions individually!"

The guys all turned to Jennie as she smiled and brought her mic to her mouth. "Hey, it's your girl, Jennie! Miss Bangtan with the most adorable smiles in the group." She threw a peace sign.

"Jennie, what are your plans for Valentine's Day?" The male MC asked with a smile.

"Do you have a date? Is there something we should know? Who is he? What time is he picking you up? Is he treating you nicely?" Jin bombarded her with questions, earning laughter in response from everyone.

"No, no date. I'm not quite ready for dating." She shook her head.

"Good answer. We must protect our munchkin at all costs!" J-Hope shouted, earning some chuckles.

"You guys are very protective of Miss Bangtan, aren't you?" The male MC watched on.

"Yes, we are. I hope she lets us know when she does get a boyfriend." Rapmon answered.

"Yeah, I want to personally introduce myself to whoever the lucky guy is." Jimin cracked his knuckles.

"Oh dear..." She giggled nervously.

"Jennie is very lucky to have guys like you around. This is really cute. So Jennie, please tell us your plans for Valentine's Day." The female MC beamed

"Ah, right. Okay, so I found out about White Day and Valentine's Day here in South Korea. So I'm excited to give the guys a little something special. I hope they look forward to it." She answered.

"Whatever it is, we'll make sure to do something bigger, on White Day for you." Suga guaranteed

"Can't wait." She replied as they continued with the introductions.

"It's been about five months since you were last here, right? When you were here at Open Studio for the first time, do you perhaps remember the goals that you talked about, last time?" The male MC asked.

"We mentioned hoping to get the Best New Artist award," Rapmon answered

"And how did that turn out?"

"It's a great honor that we've actually received four Best New Artist awards."

"Wow, congratulations on this." He applauded with everyone. "Bangtan achieved their goal!"

"Now since it's your first comeback album after your Best New Artist awards, the anticipations must have escalated! Let's have you introduce your album, please." The female MC gestured.

"With our title track, Boy In Luv, it's an album titled Skool Luv Affair. It's our second mini album and all the members have individually participated in the production. It's an album that discusses the love stories that go on among the teens." Rapmon explained

"In our previous album, we participated in the lyrics writing and track composing. And in this album, we have Suga hyung who personally produced 2 tracks." Jungkook said as a chorus of oohs and whoas were heard while Suga happily raised his hand.

"From what I know, there's Bang Sihyuk-ssi in your company. Suga-ssi, you managed to do that?" The male MC asked in awe.

"Tracks that I produced during my trainee times having made into our album it's really-it's such an honor and right now as well I'm shaking," Suga answered, feeling humbled.

"I know how that feels. There are really skillful and cool people above in the management but when our members do it themselves, there's really no words to describe but I like it to death!" The male MC pointed out. "Do introduce us to the title and subjects of those tracks!"

"The tracks I've produced are titled 'JUMP' and 'Tomorrow'. JUMP is a rather upbeat hip hop track while Tomorrow is a healing song especially for those in their 10s/20s, it's a song with more emotional depth." Suga explained.

"Tomorrow is my absolute favorite song on the album!" Jennie spoke with a big smile.

"Don't you also want to tell them your big news?" Rapmon gestured to her with a knowing smile.

"Ah...sure. I play the guitar for tomorrow in the album." She revealed. "I hope you all enjoy it."

"Wow~ I've heard you play the guitar. How was it?" The female MC asked.

"I really enjoyed working on it. It was a little hard at first but as I continued listening to the lyrics, I got a bit emotional. It's been a while since I played the electric guitar. I was more into the acoustic but it worked out very well after a couple of jam sessions in the studio."

"You'll hear the emotion in her playing," Suga added.

"The opportunity to play the guitar for one of our songs is a huge privilege and I'm really happy with the result."

"You will be surprised at her playing. I had to stare at her for a few moments, questioning if that was really her playing. I was really caught off guard. She plays well." He praised.

"Thank YOU for letting me play for your song."

"What was the facial expression and what did you say?" Jimin laughed as Suga dropped his jaw, staring at the camera in confusion.

"J-Jennie? How did you do that?" Suga stuttered, repeating what he said when he first heard her play as another roar of laughter surrounded the studio.

"And something that everyone knows about BTS, their lyrics aim to reach out to people in their 10s/20s. I heard that this album is to reach out to those schooling. Is that true?" The female MC asked.

"That's right. Well in our debut album, we sang, 'Hey kid what's your dream' where we talked about our dreams. In our second album we talked about 'happiness' and here in our 3rd album we talk about 'love'. We thought that especially for those in their late 10s, instead of dreams they'd be most concerned on the issue of love and with that we came up with the subject of a three part school series." Rapmon replied.

"Ah, I see. All right we're with BTS right now, they've got a really suitable theme/subject. Let's have them talk about this 1 by 1. Real men's and woman's love story, I wonder what this is about."

"Our title track Real Man, Boy in Luv is packed with overflowing love. A really manly stage performance as well as a manly song, you'll be able to listen to it in just a while's time!" J-Hope explained.

"And throughout the manliness of the song, you'll also see the girl's perspective. She thinks the guy is cute, but she tries to ignore the feelings a bit." Jennie added

"Ah...but it seems like you weren't able to resist Jimin's charms in the Music Video, is that right?" The male MC teased.

"...Yes." She answered after a pause and looked away while everyone chuckled at her reaction.

"Everything about it is manly with a dash of girlishness from the girl's perspective. Be it the song or the choreography, all of it." The male MC commented as they watched the Music video. "Firstly they're students but seems like those students who are rather street smart with great popularity, and they dance well too! And I've watched the MV as well as the photos. "During the filming, did any of the members slip and fall?" The female MC asked

"Ah yes, J-Hope. Hobie fell." Suga answered. "He started early in the day in his best condition but as it went later into the night, he started making mistakes and all."

"We've prepared talk subjects that are compatible with Bangtan!" The male MC said.

"This statement has to be said in five seconds time! If you get it wrong, you have to do it again. The most important thing is speed! Because if you get it wrong, you'll have to start again. So it's vital to be fast!" The MCs advised. "Start!"

"The natural fruit beverage Jung Hyung Don likes is the Lime fruit beverage or Pomegranate fruit?" Jimin read successfully before the time ran out.

"The 'seok-ryu' sounded a bit more like 'seo-gyu' so there's a bit of danger there but if you did about this level..." The male MC turned to the female MC.

"Pass?"

"Pass." The male MC agreed.

"Aye~ great job, Jimin!" Jennie high fived him.

Jin picked the one with the three stars as the female MC ripped off the cover.

"Ah, he's doomed. It's really tough!" J-Hope laughed.

Once he got the OK to start, Jin began to fumble with the words, "Do the ingredients of milk contain higher-content than iron-content-"

"Do it again! Since we have to have it accurate, let's do it again~" The female MC exclaimed.

"Do the ingredients of milk contain higher calcium content than iron content? Or is there higher iron content than calcium content?" He managed to say it before the time but failed to pronounce it.

V raised his hand to volunteer when the MCs asked if anyone else wanted to try. "Do the ingredients of milk contain higher calcium content, more than-" He started muffling, stumbling over his words.

"AHHAHAHAHA!" Jennie laughed out loud.

"Aye! That won't do!" The female MC playfully scolded

"Please read what's written there!" Jin said

Next, it was Jungkook's turn as the female MC tears off the last tag. Suga cackled evilly while they read the statement. "Jungkook, start!" The male MC gestured

Jimin started impersonating him well, "This time...it's a hairstyle that many girls fancy...while watching Animal Kingdom, I saw the looks there and thought I should try this hairstyle." Everyone laughed in response. 

After they pulled themselves together, V, Suga, and J-Hope got their cards, J-Hope revealed his card first and it said 'Having difficulties with Seoul talk dialect, transfer student version'

Romantic music came on in the background while J-Hope started his confession. 

"Ah, for me up till now...it's still a bit..how do I say it...I'm still fluent in Seoul talk. But after hanging out with you for quite a while, it's been really nice hanging out with you and ah-dda I love you-ing." He grinned, making the MCs whoa.

"You did well!" They praised

"Now we'll have the others vote with their like/dislike cards. 1, 2, 3!" The male MC announced

Jennie puts up the pink thumbs up sign for J-Hope and so do the others except for V and Rapmon. 

Next up was V as he revealed his paper. "You who came from the stars' Exchange student version." He read

"Start!"

"Why did you come? Why did you come here?" V sighed. "You say you like Jimin, but you like me, too, what is this?"

"NG!" The male MC shouted, making everyone laugh. Jennie giggled at V's confused expression.

"I'm sorry but V there's the board there. The guy's waiting with a ring prepared. Please just do the given lines."

"Ah! I'm supposed to read those lines and do it?" V questioned, finally understanding, while there was a commotion.

"Action!"

"Wait for me, I've prepared a ring! I'll put it on for you soon..." V read in a strong voice, making everyone laugh in their seats.

"Wait a minute was that a satori acting?" The MC questioned before telling him if it was a good job. When it was time to vote, everyone but Suga gave V a thumbs up. "Suga, how come you didn't like it?"

"I'm a real avid viewer of that drama and as a viewer, I really didn't like it. I think he completely wrecked Kim Soo Hyun's acting." He replied in a blunt tone. 

When he opened his paper, the paper read 'Love unhealthy real man version'

When they said to start, Suga confidently said, "Keep your fourth finger empty because I'll be proposing to you."

Everyone cringed at the cheesiness, groaning and yelling. The guys quickly put a thumbs down. Giggling, Jennie raised the thumbs up sign. 

"Ah~ only Jennie seems to like it!" The male MC laughed.

"She's lying. Give me this." V took her sign and turned it into a thumbs down, making her laugh

"Right now the dislikes are unanimous." The male MC laughed. "Suga! You prepared something really cool and nice but why do they dislike it so much?"

"I guess they're just people who don't know about romance." He replied with a shrug.

V was the winner with the highest points and won the chief of love, getting a badge. They were out of time and weren't able to do the last challenge. 

"Even though I only got to vote today, it's been really fun." Rapmon mentions. "Just watching with Jennie has been really fun."

"Oh yeah, I had a good laugh. Hopefully next time Rapmon and I can do one of the challenges." She adds.

After their schedule was done for the day, Jennie went to the store to continue buying some last minute items for the guys. Buying various candy and cupcake mixes, she planned on making the guys cupcakes.

After leaving the supermarket, she decided to head to a local game store to buy the latest video game she could trash Jungkook in. Walking to the PlayStation section, she decided to grab Battlefield 4 since he's been talking about it for a while.

"Man...I really want it..." A girl sighed as she looked at the new Nintendo 2DS along with the Pokemon X and Y game.

"Honey, I can't afford that, right now. I told you this before we went inside." Her mom replied.

Jennie looked up to see the girl looking sad while checking out the 2DS. Pondering, she wanted to approach her and offer to buy it for her. She had saved a lot of money thanks to her mom stressing to save and spend wisely. Spending over 100 dollars on the game system won't be too bad.

"You know me?" Jennie asked out loud in surprise.

"Know you? I love you!"

"Oh my! Hello! It's very nice to meet you. My daughter is a huge fan of yours. How lucky are we to have bumped into you today," Her mother smiled while Jennie bowed to her politely.

"I'm not just a huge fan, she's my bias!" Her daughter said loud and proud.

'Bias...'

'I'm...her bias...? Me?' Jennie thought slowly, taken aback at her sudden outburst. She couldn't believe this little girl looked up to her and named her as her favorite in BTS. Smiling gratefully, she happily replied with a thank you.

"Can I please take a picture with you? Please?"

"Of course!" She happily bent down a little and threw up a peace sign while the girl took a selfie with a large grin on her face. Turning to the girl's mother, Jennie explained why she approached them. "I don't mean to bother you but I couldn't help but notice your daughter wanting the Nintendo 2DS. I would like to buy it for her. If it's all right with you."

Another large gasp escaped the girl's lips while her mother looked surprised at her offer. "If it's all right with you, then sure." Turning to her daughter she asked her, "Now what do you say to this kind young lady?"

"Thank you so much!" The girl hugged her tightly, earning a whoa from Jennie. Laughing, she hugged her back.

"Don't just hug her without her permission!" Her mother scolded. "I apologize for her bad manners."

"No, no, it's perfectly fine. I love hugs. Now let's get this 2DS for you." She picked up the Pokemon game and 2DS, taking it to the counter. After paying for everything, she handed the girl the bag after taking out Battlefield 1 to put in her purse. "Here you are! I hope you enjoy the game."

With tears of joy flowing down the girl's cheeks, she embraced Jennie again. "Thank you so much, Jennie. I will cherish this forever!"

"Thank you for doing this for my daughter. You are such a kind soul."

"The smile on people's faces makes my day. All I ask is that you please continue to support BTS."

"Of course!" The girl promised.

After Jennie went back to the dorm, hiding the cupcake mix and other ingredients from the members, she checked their shared Twitter account. 

"What in the world...?" She murmured.

'Jennie from BTS shows generosity as she buys a fan a Nintendo 2DS and Pokemon game' on ALLKPOP and other K-Media sites.

Jennie was dumbfounded. Who filmed her? She didn't even notice she was being filmed. Sometimes she forgot that she was actually known in South Korea. She was overwhelmed by the nice comments about how generous and kind she was to do that for someone.

"Jennie! YOU WENT TO GAMESTOP WITHOUT ME!?" Jungkook yelled as she let out a sigh.

"I guess he read the article." She said and decided to take the game out. "Get the game set up. It's time to trash you." She tossed the game at him as he gaped at it.

"You got the game!? For us?! Seriously!? This is great!"

When it was finally Valentine's Day, Jen managed to convince the guys to go out for lunch, while she got ready for the day. She chose to bake heart shaped vanilla cupcakes. Finally mixing the ingredients together and putting them in the pan, she set the two pans in the oven.

While waiting for them to bake, she chose to make a Twitter video, "Happy Valentine's Day, ARMY! Please spend the day with your loved ones. This day isn't just about dating, show your love for your friends and family, too! I love you all! Stay warm and have an awesome day!" She shot up a finger heart with a sweet smile.

After baking 36 cupcakes and decorating them, she placed them on three stands to stack them neatly on the living room table.

"It smells so good~" She took one off the stand and bit into it. "And it's so good. I hope they like it."

Ten minutes later, the guys finally arrived back from lunch. "Jennie! We're back!" Namjoon called out.

"Happy Valentine's Day~!" Her voice was heard as they walked to the kitchen. There she was presenting the stack of baked cupcakes for them. Hobi, Jimin and Tae screamed in excitement as she let out a laugh. "I didn't want to buy any baked goods so I wanted to bake something from the heart. I hope you like it."

"Like it? This is awesome!" Namjoon exclaimed.

Hobi pulled her in for a bear hug and she started to laugh. 

Snapping a picture on the stacked cupcakes while Jen was talking to the guys, Yoongi tweets, 'She is SO going to get spoiled on White Day...#Suga'

"Before you all dig in, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for being such great friends and helping me grow as a performer here in South Korea. Enjoy these cupcakes made with love!" She said in a genuine tone.

"That's it...bring it in. Group hug, everyone. This is amazing." Namjoon pulled her in for a hug.

"Thank you Jennie~" They thank her as they hug her tightly.

Once they dug in, their satisfied sighs were more than enough for Jennie to know that they liked it.

"Jennie. I want you to look forward to White Day. We're going to go over the top for you." Jin guaranteed.

"Really? Guys, you're so sweet. You don't need to do that. I'll be fine."

"No, no, no, you will be hooked up on White Day. How dare you say you don't want anything after what you've done? No refusing." Yoongi demanded

"All right, all right. I'll look forward to it." She let out another laugh.

On Hobi's birthday, gathering for a meeting to monitor the showcase, Jennie sat in between Jin and Rapmon as they focused on the showcase and their performance for Boy In Luv, but all of a sudden the monitor started to glitch as they looked confused. But then Jin started to smile when his birthday message to J-Hope began to play.

"Hope, a big happy birthday to you~. You must want to see your family during your birthday but since the members are here for you, I hope you're still as happy." Jin said in the video, making J-Hope laugh loudly. "And again, happy birthday, Hope."

"When did you film this?" J-Hope asked with a bright smile.

Next up appearing was Suga on the screen. "J-Hope~ for your 21st birthday, a serious congratulations. Let's keep making good songs, even in 2014, let's just have good songs come in our way. Congrats again."

"Hope! Happy birthday~!" Jen's bright voice was heard in the video as she waved to the camera. "Your munchkin wishes you an awesome birthday! You're always helping me with my dancing and you always brighten up my day. Thank you for always being there for me. You're such a kind soul and your positive energy is so contagious. Haha, you are definitely our sunshine in the group. I wish you many more birthdays to come. I love you~!"

Next up was Rapmon in the video. "Hope! Happy birthday! It's already your 4th birthday that we are celebrating together. Again, happy birthday. Always be the J-Hope that is happy and dances well. I love you."

"Hey, you there! Happy birthday." V said on the video, making J-Hope laugh again. "I always see you as positive and hopeful hope. This video message, the members birthday message, I am imagining you crying and weeping over this surprising birthday message. Hyung, again, happy birthday! I love you!"

"It's Jungkook and Jimin. Hope hyung, happy birthday!" Jimin said as he clapped with Jungkook. "Congrats on your 21st birthday, hyung. To be honest, there are many things I look up to you. Not just your healing image in the dorm. Thanks to you, the group is always so lively and in a good mood. You also keep the house clean. I think that you are a really good brother. I sometimes have these thoughts that since you're older now, I feel like we need to be more like an adult now."

"That's right." Jungkook agreed. "I am becoming more of an adult now, I will listen to your words more. I sincerely wish you a happy birthday."

"Sorry, we couldn't prepare a birthday present. Us youngsters are in lack of money." Jimin laughed. 

"We love you."

"I hope you would let loose on us sometimes," Jimin mentioned, making everyone laugh. "We will try to listen to you more. We love you hyung, Bye~"

Everyone bursted out in laughter when they saw the manager on the screen. 

The manager started laughing at first in the video. "To our beloved J-Hope, it's nice to see you livening up the mood in the team and always full of hope. Although I've never said this in front of you, you know it right? I really love you. Happy birthday~. This year too, let's continue to support each other. Let's run to the top!"

As soon as Hobi's father came on the screen for a video message, he started to tear up. "Son, it's your father. You're doing well, right? I'm really sorry I can't say a proper happy birthday on your 21st birthday."

Jennie turned to see Hobi starting to cry as tears started to appear in her eyes.

"Me and your mom are thankful to have a son like you. Happy birthday again to our lovely son." His father said while Jennie started fanning her eyes to stop her tears. "Your second mini album, seeing that you've worked hard on it, I'll be praying that good results will come. Also, over everything else, I hope for you to be in good health. Don't forget that, if you stay healthy, anything can be done. I hope you do well in the future. Once again, happy birthday my son~. My son, I love you. J-Hope, all the best. BTS, all the best."

Next was his mom and sister as they greeted him. "Hoseok it's your mom and sister here. Congrats on your 21st birthday. And your new mini album just recently came out as much as you've worked hard on it, I hope for good results. And take good care of your health. Though I'm not beside you physically, through this video I hope it gives you strength."

"I also hope you enjoy your birthday! Bye! Happy birthday! Always stay healthy, all the best to Bangtan."

After the video was over, Jimin walked in with the candle lit cake as everyone sang. "Happy birthday to you~ happy birthday to you! To our beloved Hoseok hyung~ Happy birthday to you!"

"Woo~" everyone cheered as he blew out the candles.

Jin handed Hobi a tissue to wipe his tears while Jimin sat down, behind him. 

"Seeing Hoseok hyung crying is kinda surreal," Jimin admitted, looking surprised.

"I was surprised when Hoseok cried," Jin added.

"I totally didn't expect this," Hobi said as he tried to pull himself together. "Ah...what to do."

"What do you mean what to do? Because of you, everyone is crying now."

"When will you cry again if it's not today? Cry as much as you like." Jimin smiled.

"I didn't expect this. Thank you." He sniffed.

As they stand up, they cut the cake. 

"Truthfully, when the members' faces came out I felt the tears coming. Even when the manager came out, the tears were threatening to fall. But when my father's face suddenly came out, I couldn't hold it and I just burst into tears. Seriously...Big Hit is seriously the best." Hobi said, making everyone laugh.

"Big hit, Bangtan and our ARMYs, I love you all! Thank you!" he said to the camera while everyone clapped

"It feels like we won an award or something. It feels like we're in an award ceremony." Jimin laughed while Hobi started hugging the members.

"Leader, you're the best." Hobi shook hands with Namjoon. "Thank you, Munchkin." He goes to hug her after she gives him a sweet kiss on the cheek and then goes to hug Jimin. "Thank you. It was the best birthday I've spent."

"Jungkook you had like five! Share!" Jimin tried to snatch one of Jen's cupcakes from him.

They were back in the dorm, eagerly munching on the last of the cupcakes. Meanwhile, Jennie was on the couch in the living room, watching TV, laughing to herself at their fighting.

"Hyung! Give it back! That was mine!" Jungkook shouted.

"Too bad~ hahaha!"

As she continued to watch Running Man on TV, her attention was interrupted when her phone dinged. Looking down she saw Jungkook's text.

JK: Can you bake for me?

Amused, she looks up and turns her head to meet his gaze.

Jen: Lol, sure Kookie.

JK: Only me?

Jen: Just you?? What about the other guys?

JK: I don't want them to hog my best friend's baking

Looking up again in amusement and surprise at his statement, she raised a brow at him. But the look on his face showed that he wasn't necessarily kidding around.

Jen: How about this, I'll bake you your own batch when I bake again.

JK: I like the sound of that. :)

I carefully place my laptop on the island behind me while preparing the rest of the vegetables for dinner. Jihyo slides back into the frame of Facetime, fixing a few strands of hair. For the past two hours, we have jumped around different topics. From Jihyo updating me on the manufacture and the products for the website to her teasing me about whether or not she will be on a flight to Korea with Momo in the next few days. I gave her some updates about Jia and me. It wasn't that interesting since we were at the apartment most of the time. It's a lot of work, energy, and time taking Jia out for the day or even a few hours. In those rare moments when I did go out with Jia, it was always somewhere she could burn off all of her energy.

"Dada! Dada!" Jia coos, holding up her tablet and running into my leg.

"Dada will be here later tonight, Jia. He can't talk right now because he is working." I tell her, peeling the carrots. She pouts her lips in disappointment then suddenly her screen lights up with DK's photo calling her.

Jia taps the green button answering the Facetime request. It takes only a few seconds for the video to connect and focus. Her eyes wandered around the screen, waiting for DK's face to appear. A warm hyper voice echoes from the other end of the screen. His face and Jia's brighten up the moment they see each other.

"Dada! Dada!" Jia smiles, waving her hand.

"Hi, Baby. I am sorry I missed your call earlier." He says, placing his phone somewhere. "I was busy recording today. Tell Mommy I might be coming to dinner a little late."

"You do know Jia is still learning to speak full sentences, right?" I raised an eyebrow at him, moving into the frame with Jia. "Also you can text me you're going to be late tonight."

A smug smile forms on DK's lips leaning closer to the screen, "And my day just got even better."

"You're flirty words didn't work before, and they're not working on me now."

"If it's not working then why are you blushing." He points out.

I quickly touch my cheeks, feeling the warmth against my fingertips. Internally I smack myself from annoyance. I hated how much DK’s words did affect me. DK's smile widens, knowing he was right, and I roll my eyes. "Jia, go take your iPad into the other room while I start dinner."

"I'll see you later, Sinta. I am bringing home a bottle of wine, by the way." DK shouts before Jia leaves the kitchen. "So don't open anything new."

I giggle, shaking my head at him, and turn back around to the counter. I wash off the vegetables and place them on the towel in front of me. My mind drifts back between DK and trying to remember what I was doing prior. Shit. My laptop. Jihyo. I turn back facing the island when I notice a teasing grin on her lips. Her body relaxes leaning against the couch in her apartment. Something sparkles in her brown eyes and it was taunting me as if she knew something I didn’t.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" My voice filled with suspicion.

"Shouldn't I be the one asking you that question, Sinta." She teases.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I grab the two freshly clean carrots cutting them into fours.

"So we are going to pretend that you haven't been happier than usual these last few days or weeks. And since when did he start calling you Sinta again? That means Darling, right?"

"Also that DK is the reason behind that goofy smile and blushing cheeks.” Momo chimes in taking a seat next to Jihyo.

I furrow my eyebrows at her words. Maybe Jihyo and Momo are right. Maybe I have been happier lately but I am not willing to admit it yet. If I admitted that DK is the reason behind my happiness, they won’t let me breathe without rubbing it in my face that they were right. I would rather they find out that I low key started seeing DK in a romantic way when they flew out. At least they will be able to piece it more together and don’t need me to confirm it for them.

"So when are you flying out?" I asked.

“I told you she would try to change the subject if we straight up asked her.” Momo hissed looking back at Jihyo.

“We are leaving in a few days. Now how often does DK spend at the apartment you’re staying at? Has he officially moved in?”

“I am happy I finally get to see you girls after almost two months.”

“We are happy too. I am excited to snuggle with my baby Jia again.” Jihyo smiles.

“We will be more than happy to babysit her while you and DK go out on a romantic date since you’ve gotten serious.”

“DK and I actually rescheduled our date to next week instead since —”

“So you are officially dating DK!” Momo spat in victory.

“Can you guys please drop this? I won't confirm or deny it.” I groan placing the knife down before I could hurt myself. “I understand you guys want to know but you'll just have to wait and see it for yourself.”

“Y/N, I am sorry if it seems like we are pushing the topic. We just like seeing you this happy. It's been a while since we've seen you glowing like this.” Mom smirks.

“It’s okay. I know you guys want the best for me but honestly I still feel scared about this whole thing with him. I am still learning to trust him, me and us.”

“Y/N, you know we’ll always be in your corner. We are rooting for your fairytale ending with DK. He is a good person and an amazing dad to Jia. We can see that he makes you really happy and takes care of both of you. That’s all we want.” Jihyo flashes me an apologetic warm smile.

“Thank you. I love you guys.” I smirk continuing to cut the vegetables.

“So has DK actually taken you out on a date since you guys became official?”

“Momo!” Jihyo and I shout staring at her.

“What?” She throws her hands up in defense.

We both laugh shaking our heads at her.

“I really can’t wait for you guys to arrive in Korea.”

Sooo...

Fic-Binding.

Is a thing I'm going to learn this year! (This feels really awkward but I can't think of a smooth introduction, so here we are.)

Here on Tumblr was my first introduction to binding fics. It never occurred to me before that people would. I began following many amazing binders here on Tumblr and over on Instagram. My sweet friend Nina bound a short story collection of some of my fics for my birthday last year. And Lila gave me a copy of one of her fics. There is something so very special about seeing fics in physical form! It gives me all the warm and fuzzies!

...only it seems that if a gal wants her favorite fics on her shelf, she's going to have to bind them herself.

Now, I was tempted to share some progress pictures along the way, but I fear that would hinder my progress. My anxiety and perfectionism are strong. I do not like to be observed making mistakes. Even really minor ones. Even worse if people point them out to me, however well-meaning. I live with a deep and abiding terror of failure and judgment. Which...is it healthy? No. Am I working on it? Yeah. But my therapist and I agree that throwing myself into the deep end is not the right method for me, so alas...baby steps!

(Seriously, my partner and I have been together nearly 7 years and only this past year have I begun to try and test new things where he could see me do it. And there is no person on planet earth more supportive or less judgmental than my Eddie.) (But to be fair, when one is taught to hate themselves and see their only worth as their usefulness and productivity, well...The terror is quite real, and deeply ingrained, I'm afraid.)

I will try to take progress photos along the way and share them all in a photo dump when I'm feeling more comfortable and confident. Which is a long ways away as I've not even bound a book yet. Showing my errors should be easier when I can say "look but I fixed it!" By necessity I've become pretty good at teaching myself things, so with luck (and YouTube videos) I can do this!

And in the meantime I can at least write about my efforts!

Eddie, my partner, has been very enthusiastic since I first broached the subject of bookbinding and when my plans to gather supplies seemed to fall through, he agreed to help me get what I needed. He had me put supplies on an Amazon wishlist so we can purchase items when we can. The first purchase I made was the most necessary one, which was a printer. I got a little table to put it on, built the table!!!! (I am not very handy, okay. When I build anything, however simple, it's a huge accomplishment!) I set up the printer. Aaaand was resigned to wait however long until I could start.

...

...and then it occurred to me. "Hey, dumb-dumb, maybe you can start practicing parts of it now?"

Oh yeah! There are several parts to putting a book together. And so, I began! I chose a small fic, Orange Blossoms, to get a feel for how it would look printed out. I followed some online instructions. And it wasn't perfect, but it was in booklet form and I could fold the paper and everything was where it needed to be. Small success!

Then I adjusted the font size and reprinted, because the previous font size was teensy in Scrivener and GIANT in Adobe and on paper.

Next, I wanted to test printing multiple signatures. That one took a bit more work for reasons I can't properly explain. Even now I don't know why the original version was printing out the way it was, with a blank last page. In theory, it shouldn't have done that??

Anyway, I chose In My Veins (In My Blood) for this. Orange Blossom is 3k and fit into one signature. In My Veins (In My Blood) is 7k and I figured I could get 2 out of it. I figured starting small would be better so I don't waste paper and ink while trying to sort things out. Or you know...waste as little as I can.

I fiddled with some settings and such until the first signature printed right. Then I had to mess around to figure out where I needed to insert blank pages, and I changed my mind about where to put my mock copyright and title pages. Once I was happy, I then printed the second signature and then proudly waved them in Eddie's face!

Then, I found a gift card from Christmas and decided: hey, why don't I get some more stuff? Today my order came in and I got: an awl, needles, and waxed thread. Time to stitch those suckers together! I stumbled across a bookbinding video some months ago that I saved, so I pulled that up and went step by step. Measuring and marking where to put the holes. (Nightmare, btw, my brain hates numbers.) (Brain sees numbers and runs off scared; needs soothing and cajoling to come back out and get to work.) (The solution was obvious and didn't require actual math like the YouTuber told me but anyway that's not the point, the point is:) Then I threaded my needle and go to work!

Signature 1 was easy enough. But threading the 2 signatures together was not. First YouTube moved too fast and didn't explain things very clearly. Like...not verbally addressing each step in detail, but also with too many jump cuts for me to really tell what she was doing. But she referenced a Sea Lemon video which I found and was much more helpful!

And now I have 2 signatures threaded together! It's very rough and sloppy, but you know what...it's a first attempt, so whatever. (Look, even admitting that my first attempt is pretty "eh" hurts my soul, but here we are.) (At least you can't see it!)

So that's where I am for now! Eddie's going to peruse my list this weekend to see what he can get, and once I have the supplies needed for the next step, onto the next step I'll go! I do want to bind The White Road as my first actual bound fic, so I can work on fiddling with the typesetting a bit while I wait!

ALSO I ate dinner so late because I was so caught up in learning how to stitch those signatures!! I was like "okay this shouldn't take that long." Hey, self, this is a new skill you're learning. Maybe don't make assumptions. And at least double any time you think something should take. I sure scarfed down my food after that!

Anyway, I know it seems very silly that I'm too scared to show pictures, but even talking about it is a big step. It's like...well if this doesn't work out I'm going to look really dumb, huh? Better keep things all to myself so if it doesn't work out no one is disappointed or judging me or whatever. Much better to come out the gate with something to show, right?

But talking about stuff and sharing stuff is really important to me. It's this like deep inner need I've trampled down for so long, out of fear of seeming childish or silly at best, or at worst boring or burdening people. But maybe this is something some people are interested in. And I'll be generous with cuts and tags for easy skimming for those who aren't interested, and those who are, well...You're welcome to bits and pieces of my journey with me!

Speaking of tags, I've been trying to come up with a name for my "bindery." I thought of "Busy Bee Bindery" because I love bees and am quite busy, actually. But maybe it needs my name in it?? Idk I'm still brainstorming that one. Maybe by my next update I'll have one I can use for tagging! And you know...to slap on my bindings! 😄

Hmmmmmmmmm

I thought this looked familiar. It's a filter, right? I know there is another one next door, but I am not a fan of purple - just green and rose hues. Honestly sheep don't bother me, even the most virulent ones are not as annoying as the worst of the other parties heizi. (They can't be real CPF honestly).

The recent hard candy is so difficult to swallow - expired spokesman products and gasp - the same watch in the same brand both are spokesman for.

Real treats involve things that are not about money IMO.

Honestly, I didn't believe it was the same ring until I saw Peko Mi's page which is just full of photos with detailed things that I'd never even seen on Station B. No photo I saw was clear enough; however, this is the real deal couple ring worn understandably in 2021 during the period of TLB hyping. Now, this is a sweet caramel. Think about it. 88 does not endorse this brand, so she had to remove the ring. She has also shown off this brand again in another model in 2022 during the sour lemon sauna video where it is rather prominently displayed again (check the photo about fruit with the scenes from Kuiben AKA Happy Camp and you will see it. She has everything to lose in promoting another company, right? So...again, could be a fantastic business arrangement, but in my head this imaginary couple just might be going strong. btw this period, 30 is represented by orange which the clever P-chan picked up and if you see that period, it seems about right!

Now, all of these photos can be found on Station B, so nothing is new here. It's just easier to take it from a still capture.

This light and shadow play is interesting too. Again, there is no capital involved that I can see in 88's suitcases' Luffy stickers or 30's Maruko-Chan and little cherry mask (brave for a guy who doesn't like small, round things eh), copywriting, still not calling 88 sister etc... as ever, let's wait for the flowers to burst into their seasonal colors.

Yes, they could be single; if so then make sure they collaborate again soon! This chemistry should not be wasted!

Episode 6: Fitting and Reviewing

As the last video was cut short, Soyoun supposes it's time to film the second part of the sampling process, which is fitting and reviewing.

"Hello, everyone, and welcome back to another episode of Astrid's Atelier!" She says as she's back in her studio, a few days after filming the last one. "This took some time to film after the last one because I've gotten quite busy. I'm not sure if the news will come out before or after this video is posted, so I can't really spoil anything just yet."

Although Soyoun's excitement is clear, she opts not to say anything else. "Anyway, we're finally back in the studio, and I will be fitting and leaving all my comments on the outfit," she continues. "It's a first draft, and the team is probably waiting for my feedback, so let's get to it, shall we?"

"Now, we actually fit the the garment," Soyoun says. She then puts it on the mannequin she has based on her actual muse. She checks for drag lines and stress points. "There's a lot to be said about fitting, that it can be an entire series on its own." Soyoun sheepishly admits to the cameras. "But when fitting, some questions I ask are 'How could the fit be improved?' and 'Does the fit of the garment reflect your design intent?'" As Soyoun works, she's seen taking photos with her phone and writing comments on the side.

It takes some time, but when she's done, she looks up at the cameras. "Now, it's time to write my feedback. When writing feedback, it's important to be clear but still respectful. Having a specific format also helps." Soyoun then gets to work as she writes all her comments and feedback, making sure to also give compliments where they were due. This probably takes the most time because Soyoun meticulously goes over everything. By time time she's done, her hand is beginning to cramp.

"I'll probably send these back tomorrow, along with some food and drinks for the team," she sheepishly says to the cameras. "After all, they're working so hard to help bring this vision to life, and I'll be making them work some more… So it's only fair to send them some food to cheer them on."

As Soyoun stretches her hands, she then says to the cameras. "Next episode, you'll finally meet my muse and see the final product. For now, this has been another episode of Astrid's Atelier. I hope to see you in the next one. Skrrt Skrrt!""

Blog 03

Bringing the Streets of India to Life in 3D

As a 3D artist, I'm always looking for new sources of inspiration to fuel my creativity. Recently, I found that inspiration in an unlikely place - the character launch trailer for Valorant's new map, Harbor. The trailer opens with a stunning shot of an Indian street, complete with colorful buildings, bustling markets, and intricate architectural details. I was immediately captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and knew I had to recreate it in my own 3D work.

Researching Indian Street Scenes

To bring this vision to life, I started by doing extensive research into Indian street scenes. I watched the Harbor trailer on repeat, taking note of the key elements that made the environment feel so authentic. The narrow alleyways, the mix of old and new buildings, the intricate window designs, and the colorful textiles hanging from balconies - it all came together to create a sense of place that felt true to life.

I also stumbled upon the Mumbai Gullies trailer, a short film that showcased the gritty, chaotic beauty of the city's back streets. The trailer was a treasure trove of inspiration, with its vibrant colors, dynamic camera angles, and intimate glimpses into everyday life. I took screenshots of every frame, cataloging the details that made the environment feel so alive.

So with these two amazing references in mind, I've decided to focus my 3D environment project on creating an Indian alley patch. I want to bring that same level of authenticity and immersion to my own work. Of course, I'll be putting my own spin on it and adding my own creative flair. But I'm really aiming to capture the essence of those Indian street scenes.

I've got about 10 days left in the preproduction phase, and I'm going to be spending a lot of that time collecting even more references. I'm talking photos, videos, concept art, anything I can get my hands on to help me nail the look and feel. I want to get every little detail right, from the crumbling brick walls to the colorful textiles hanging from the balconies.

Once I've got my references locked down, it'll be time to start the actual 3D modeling and texturing. I can't wait to start bringing this vision to life. I know it's going to be a lot of work, but I'm up for the challenge. And I'm really excited to see how it all comes together in the end.

Stay tuned for more updates as I dive into the production phase! I'll be sharing my progress and any interesting challenges or discoveries along the way. This is going to be an epic project, I can just feel it.

I doubled up on the sleeping meds. I should be sleeping by 8 a.m or 9 at the latest. I'm a little worried I'll throw off my circadian rhythm but who knows. I had to double up bc I've only been up for 15 hours.

I cleaned out two draws today. I was productive. Tomorrow aka later today i have to call the psychiatrist and call disability to reschedule my appt.

Then I'm going to finish my password book. I might sweep my room and clean my ac. I got to finish my mattress pillow top. I did all my laundry but that. Including my bedding. I've been productive.

I had a dream about you last night. I wish I could remember it. It wasn't a good one. That's all I know but when I woke up it was before 7 hours and I just passed back out and it was gone.

I have a feeling you ignored me again. Idk.

The hallucination has been the same. So I guess the weed didn't do any damage at least I hope. I hope I can get in with the psychiatrist asap....

No news on the dating front. That arsenal of photos without glasses is coming up. If a girl can't like me for who I really am that's okay. I don't need to see clearly.

I know you would have wanted me to wesr my glasses. It seems most women do not like the bald guy with glasses look.

I feel less attractive with them on. Once I wear my new script for a few days I'll see Apple sauce tbh.... so maybe getting those ray bans aren't worth it. I just want to look attractive.

I wish a woman would like me with my glasses. I wish a girl would like the bald guy with glasses look. It's who I am but I guess I need another Katie. Someone who would rather I not see clearly. Its not that's important to see clearly. Maybe I can introduce myself with glasses on thr first date bit without any photos in glasses I'd feel like I was lying. They might not like it.

Also I could wesr them sometime later... idk... Maybe I'm just not meant to be loved how I am... I used to have one good eye. Not neither is good but things aren't that blurry...

I'm never going to be an edgy guy with tattoos who looks sexy. I'm always going to be a dorky guy... without any tattoos at this point I'd get some just to look more attractive...

I'd actually change a lot about myself despite liking how I look to find someone.

It is what it is. I'm going to do one profile as thr authentic Nathan and one profile as the fake Nathan and see what happens.

I can't help but think all the women are like he is dorky. Maybe it's the bald head. We will find out. I'm never wearing a toupee but like- Maybe just maybe taking off Mt glasses will give me an edge.

I might remove all my videos in yotube with my glasses.. I won't have many left but whatever. No one minds watxhing me if they want to see the gameplay but women don't like something about my picture. I think I look handsome. It's their loss but I can't be alone forever.

If you're coming, just know I'm still waiting for you. I'm not joking. None of my eggs are in that basket... but if I found someone I'd drop her for you in 2 seconds.

I want to grow old with you. I want to watch your girls grow up. I want to marry you but most people never get what they want. And I accept that.

I'll always be hopelessly in love with you. I'll always think about you fondly. I'll always love you with every fiber of my being. I'll always wish any girl I end up with is Elise.
