i want to call myself a theatre kid
I want to stay after school to rehearse for our latest show. Want to dress up in pretty costumes. I want inside jokes with my friends. I want to bond over songs. I wish I could sing (I can't) I wish I could dance (I'm kinda uncoordinated and have no stamina) I want to be good. I wish I was better. But if I can only act what can I do. I can improvise, sometimes I would rather only do theatresports. But I want to feel the feeling of bowing while everyone applauds. I want the satisfaction of a show well done. I want to belt show tunes at the top of my lungs and sound good. I want to be good. I wish.
