I’ve recently been reading ‘The Bizarre Diet Of Marine Captain Koby’ by cynaquill and I’m absolutely stuck on it.

It’s such a good storyline and amazing writing, I absolutely recommend giving it a read if you’re not too squeamish!

hey love! hope ur doing okay and i wish you all the best. wanted to come on here and tell you that i absolutely adore your teachers series no matter how many times i reread it. i especially love the last chapter you posted, the handjob scene??? my god i don’t think i’ve ever seen anyone write a handjob scene as great as you did (i don’t think i’ve really seen anyone write one in such detail in general) so thank you for that. i adore it so much, love how you write frank, i know everyone loves writing him as a brooding dom man, don’t get me wrong i love that version of him too but the way YOU write him is such a different take on him. its absolutely marvellous, he’s soft, gentle and of course guiding (hence the fic name being ‘teacher’ lmao) it’s truly refreshing to read. keep doing what ur doing and know that ill support you no matter what. as much as i would love for the teachers series to continue i know that writers block and creativity takes time and it comes and goes. again wish you the best love and take care of yourself first and foremost x))

oh my gosh! the part about my frank 🥺🥺🥺 thank you so so much! i feel like there’s glimpses of frank’s true nature underneath all the hurt and the wall he puts up and i really wanted to try and tap into that side! i feel like big mean tough frank is a lot of fun but sometimes i just wanna be a big old baby and be soft with him! and i just feel like he’d be the type where if it came down to a scenario like this, he’d be gentle and patient? at least that’s what i think anyway 😅

that bit at the end was so so sweet! thank you so much :’) writer’s block has definitely had its hold on me for the past few months and i really truly do feel so sorry it’s taken so long for an update. i had a lot of difficult things happen this year but i’m starting to level out and i feel okay again. i’ve been thinking more and more about how to execute the idea i once saw so clearly in my head so hopefully i can get the wheels moving and get it posted in time!

Can I ask the current word count of the lp draft ur editing? Would u split the chap? Have u ever split a chap before because you felt like it was too long? Or do you feel like u would only ever split it for a better reason like flow or something. I’m not like asking for u to split it or to update. This is not like a request ask. Just curious because ur on my mind lol

It’s a little under 10k. I’m not at my computer now but I worked on it the other day and I remember stopping just under a hundred from 10k. I would never split a chapter. I write dual POV so it wouldn’t make sense to split them. There’s been things I’ve decided should happen to one person instead of the other and then moved some things around accordingly though. This chapter was supposed to end on one thing but then I decided it would make sense to start that thing from Wade’s POV next chapter instead.

I don’t mind questions like these. If you’re interested in my process specifically. I enjoy thinking about it when I’m answering questions about it.

I find it funny that so many posts on here are begging readers to comment on fics. Meanwhile I’m over here tearing my hair out with apprehension over the idea of reading the newest chapter of something because I know it’s gonna take me at least an hour just to write the comment, not counting the time it actually takes to read the chapter. Because the author writes with so much nuance and I want them to know I noticed it. And I have to articulate exactly how every moment of that nuance made me feel.

And it’s fun to notice those things while I’m reading but the time commitment makes it hard to start reading. Because once I read I know I’m gonna want to comment.
