i have posted about my friend Firas @firasmuhaisenn and his sister Nisreen at length before here they are two siblings living in Egypt, currently enrolled in university, about to start their second year. their biggest dream in life is to finish medical school to be able to help people in Gaza and give back to their community. they were all set to start this journey but then everything changed on October 7th. their family is stuck in North Gaza with no way out and no way to pay for the skyrocketing food prices. Firas & Nisreen are, on top of everything else, responsible to send their family money so they can survive. every little bit you can give to them is helpful. i cannot overstate how extremely urgent this is. their fundraiser keeps stagnating a lot, oftentimes going without a single donation for days. we cannot afford this right now!! My name is Mahmoud Naeem Abu Hatab, from Gaza.

I am a university student majoring in Software and Databases at Al-Azhar University. Since the beginning of my academic journey, I have been passionate about User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design, as well as website development. These fields inspire me, and I dream of advancing my skills and building a professional career in them.

Unfortunately, during the recent war, I lost my laptop, which was essential for both my studies and work. I was forced to flee my home and relocate to southern Gaza due to the difficult circumstances. Despite my efforts to replace my laptop, the financial situation has made it impossible to afford a new one.

Without a laptop, continuing my studies or seeking job opportunities in programming and design has become extremely challenging. This directly affects my academic progress and future career.

Having a laptop would allow me to resume my studies and work on programming and design projects that are crucial for improving my skills. I have been practicing my hobby of drawing in my free time; I am very passionate about it and feel that it is my only outlet. The war has destroyed everything—my possessions, my dreams, and my talent. Now I feel drained and have lost my passion because of everything we are going through. I have documented part of our suffering through simple drawings

This drawing describes part of our suffering that we can't even put into words. Destruction, bombing, loss, and death surround us at any moment, stealing everything we love. The lack of water and drinking water, and the extreme difficulty in providing it. Losing our loved ones and family members, losing our children and dreams, the destruction of our homes and everything we cherish. The planes and their terrifying sound that no human ear can endure. Perhaps through this drawing, I wanted to express my feelings a little, but what we are living is much harder than any description.😔😔💔💔

This drawing depicts our attachment to our land and reflects the suffering of the elderly from this brutal, destructive war that devastates everything around us. The tears of this old man perhaps express a bit of our pain. We do not want death; we want life and to hold on to our land. We want to achieve our dreams, celebrate our accomplishments, and live in safety.😭💔💔

This is my embodiment of this painful image. A mother is the sacrifice; she endures all the pain of seeing her children hungry, suffering, and scared, yet she is powerless and unable to act. What agony and sorrow is this? What burden can a woman bear, a burden that even a mountain would struggle to carry? The situation has become unbearable and more difficult than anyone can imagine or endure. Put yourselves in our place for a moment—what would you feel and do?

This drawing was made by my younger brother, who brought it to me. At first, I thought they were toys, but he later told me that the girl lost her leg due to the bombing, and the one next to her lost both her legs because of the war and shelling. The other figure is a paramedic coming to help the injured. The small child at the bottom of the picture is a child who was killed in the bombing. Is this childhood? Is this a normal drawing for a child who is no more than nine years old? Do you think it's natural for a child to only think about death, bombing, and destruction? He also told me that he doesn't want to die and that he wants to go to school like other children.😔😔💔💔💔

I am Ola Ferwana from Palestine ,Gaza. I'm a mother of 3 kids Yamen, Qusai and Mira. My husband travelled to Egypt to get medicines before 2 days of the war 7 of October on Gaza and he was stuck in Egypt until this moment.

I faced very great challenges and responsibilities of my three children in the absence of my husband, as he had traveled and the crossing was closed and we could not see each other.

This is our street of my house, the Israeli occupation damaged all the houses.

I have delivered a girl baby,Mira , through the war, She was 10 months old and my husband didn't see her until this moment.

Yamen was 7 years old, and his simplest dream was to complete the first grade at school, but his school was completely destroyed. He lost the most beautiful thing that he was happy with and enjoyed that he had reached this stage.

Qusai is 5 years old, and until this moment I do not have the courage to tell him that his kindergarten was also destroyed, the first place and refuge in which he was happy, but in this war he lost everything beautiful. He lost his father’s hug, which was his only refuge when he slept at night, telling him his daily story to fall asleep safety.

Mira, my daughter, who had never seen an hour or a moment devoid of fear, came into this world and was surprised by a war that destroyed many, many things. It destroyed her house and her room, which I was waiting for as I prepared and brought her all the beautiful clothes and colorful dresses she needed. She was surprised by the sound of missiles. She could not sleep because of it. My husband hopes to get a smile and a hug from her daughter Which he had been waiting for some time.

We lack of the basic human needs, no food no electricity no water. We were poisoned and infected because of the unhealthy water that we drink.

My three children and I had to be hospitalized. We suffered from liver dysfunction as a result of malnutrition, widespread diseases, and recurring infection.

During this period, I felt remorseful about how difficult it is for a mother to see her children sick and unable to treat them because she is also very sick.

The Rafah border crossing, which is the only way to escape from the war, is closed now.

I hope to provide us by giving support in order to cover the costs associated with ensuring our safe passage of Egypt through the borders. Please stand with me, we are now homeless, with absence of children needs like milk, diapers, with no food.

   "He's wanted this." L cackled. "You think you're a good brother, that you support him, but you've no idea how he screams inside." His eyes shifted back to solid grey. He stared at Mario as he raised the dagger.      "He's begging for it all to stop. Has been begging, even before I took over. Maybe I should oblige him." he swayed again, arm out. "How should I do this? Wrists?" he pressed the blade's tip to the tender skin, drawing a prick of blood. "No, too slow. The throat?" Mario's stomach lurched, the dagger gliding past Luigi's neck before lowering. "No. A dramatic's way of going out. I should make this more simple. Show him what a knife to the chest really feels like."    His face shifted, one eye turned blue as two voices spoke and Luigi stood. "I'm so tired of being alone."      "NO!" Mario couldn't move, couldn't breathe as he saw the blade seek shelter in a blanket of flesh and bone. The figure swayed more as blood began to pour out, a crimson river that quickly pooled around his feet. His hand fell away from the blade and he looked up at Mario.      "Heh, I, I didn't think it would hurt so much." he uttered.    Diving forward Mario caught him as he fell. "Weege!" he choked out, tears falling faster. Tippi was silent, floating nearby as she watched it all unfold. Mario's hands shook as he pulled his little brother close and stroked his cheek. Eyes fluttered open, bright sapphires matching his own returned his gaze.      "M-Mario?" Luigi had grown pale, his voice soft. "W-Was, was havin' a bad dream. Kept, kept tryin' ta talk to you." he shivered, his head resting against Mario's chest. "So-Somebody kept talkin' over me. Din't, din't like him." he mumbled, eyes closing again.      "Weege." Mario sobbed out. "Luigi, stay with me, please!"      "S's cold. Mar'o, can we go home?" Luigi cringed, trying to hide his face against his brother. Fingers weakly gripped at his overalls."S's so cold here."    Mario trembled with another sob. "Y-Yeah, yeah Weege, we can go home. Just please, stay with me!"    A faint sigh, a breath that took with it the final heartbeat.

A month later...    Whispers could be heard throughout the early morning air of the marketplace. Toads murmured to one another once the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom was out of earshot.      "Whadda ya think happened?" one customer commented. "He looks so, so haunted."      "Beats me." the stall owner replied. "You're right though, poor guy looks like he watched the world end."      "I'll tell you this," a third chimed in. "Don't ever say anything bad about his little brother when Mario's around. Someone said something the other day and I thought Mario was gonna kill em just from the look alone! I don't know what he's been through, but it must've been serious." All three watched the man in red as he continued on his way.    Following the path to the little mushroom house, Mario unlocked the door and quietly went in. Soft footsteps on the stairs made him look up, a smile of genuine warmth making his eyes sparkle.      "Hi big bro!" Luigi greeted him, cheerfully taking the bag with the groceries from his hands.      "Hey Weege." Mario returned the greeting and followed him to the kitchen. "You feelin' okay?"    Luigi nodded as he began putting the food away. "Yeah, donno why I'm getting that weird pain in my chest but hey, the doc says I'm fine and it's no biggie." he tilted his head. "How 'bout you? You been getting up early a lot lately."    Mario rubbed at the back of his neck, the nightmares he'd been having briefly darting through his mind. "Y-Yeah, I'm okay." he went to the cupboard and pulling out two mugs, held one up. "Tea?"     "Sure."    As Mario filled the kettle, he glanced over his shoulder. "Hey Weege, I was thinkin'."      "Yeah?"      "Next time something happens, I want you to come with."      "R-Really?" There it was. That nervousness, that hint of 'don't leave me'. How had he never heard it before? Swallowing the knot in his throat, Mario nodded.      "Yeah, I mean, we are the Mario brothers. Can't have the super team without you."    He nearly dropped the teabag as Luigi grabbed him in a hug. Releasing his big brother, Luigi returned to his seat. His pajama top, unbuttoned from his own restless slumber, had fallen away to reveal the faded mark over his heart.

   A mark that Mario blamed himself for, for the rest of his life.

⭐️Mario & Luigi Soundwave Stars⭐️

(AKA: My Mario & Luigi series fangame concept!!)

This game feels like it’d be in between Dream Team and Paper Jam, but I can always change that!!

So basically, here’s the plot!! Mario & Luigi get a call for help from Music Kingdom. The ruler of the Kingdom, Prince Motif, knew that they could fix his current situation. Motif is a nervous, fearful, little man, but he tags along with the Mario Bros because he wants to prove himself to his kingdom. He has his own abilities that benefit the Bros during the game (more on Prince Motif here, but if you want to know more, please let me know!!)

Apparently Bowser and the Koopalings stole the kingdoms most prized possessions, the Genre Gems. They’re gems that give the kingdom its musical energy, and they are supposed to be on the princes crown. The most all of them are separated, the kingdom falls into more disarray. (If that makes sense, lol) Each gem is a different music genre, which are the following:

Folk, Funk, Pop, Techno, Swing, Metal, and Classical.

With seven gems, each Koopaling has taken one to gain its power. The bosses will go as the following:

Wendy-Folk Music

Morton-Funk Music

Lemmy-Pop Music

Larry-Techno Music

Iggy-Swing Music

Roy-Metal Music

Ludwig-Classical Music

Bowser- Multi Genre (Final Boss)

Makes sense baseline. Each battle will have very music based attacks, with most attacks focused on timing that coincides with the music. (I also wanted to have a funny gimmick where each Koopaling forces Prince Motif to dance with them, with the exception being Ludwig. Though, that part is explained later..)

I know what you’re thinking: “Why does the Koopa Kingdom even want to invade?” Good question! The answer is quite simple: Him and Ludwig are rivals (though, the rivalry is very one-sided.) They used to be friends, but had a falling out due to miscommunication. Ever since then, Ludwig’s been quite bitter about it, so he planned this invasion.
