Rating the Owl House Single Parents because I can 10s don't have to be perfect they're just silly and good. Eda- 10/10. I know I should dock her points for several things but she really is a good mom. She tries her best to protect them and is willing to admit when she messes up. Camila- 10/10. "Who knew I had such a strong girl-" STFU I LOVE YOu. Camila's a good mom to her daughters. Perry- 10/10. His relationship with Gus isn't perfect but like. is it meant to be. I think that's ok. Darius (+ Eber) - 10/10. Hunter seems very happy with them. Evelyn- 10/10. Evelyn has good vibes. The only reference to her daughter other than her being pregnant is an image of them(?) burning a town down together. Splendid. Caleb- 10/10. Caleb gets points bc Philip survived and was generally happy. He probably was not a good parent to Philip in that. he was a child. and definitely was in survival mode. but they both lived and sometimes you need 10 points because of that. Belos- 0/10. Hunter and the Collector are very unhappy. Ik the Collector is only his child through Skype but like. he's a bad parent to both of them but especially Hunter. Also, I know he's not Vee's guardian but if you create somebody you should at least make sure they have some kind of quality of life my dude.

Her name is Amy, and she decides (or is forced) to help Bibi get with Peter to be around her because of her crush. As they hang out, they get closer, and Bibi realizes she actually likes Amy. After tracking down Amy and pushing her out of the way of a truck they confess and start dating.

Another yuri another cute couple. I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think their development as characters is just so perfect. The fact that the story's message is love can heal was just so heartwarming. Usually, I'm not very emotional but this made me cry!! Their backstories, Amy's way of thinking about herself, the way her aunt was, and so much more really got to me T-T

I think Bibi might be my favorite yandere ever, and as a yandere lover this says A LOT. She's crazy and so cute and I just love her so so much. Her family backstory was just so good and explained why she was the way she was, in fact even her uncle was also interesting even if he was barely present. I'm sooo happy she got a happy ending unlike most yandere's because she deserved good honest love! I'm glad she actually developed and was not a yandere over Amy like how I thought she would be at first.

Oh Amy...How I love you... She's so sweet and I feel so bad for her. Just like Bibi I'm so happy she got a good ending. I definitely thought she was going to have a love triangle with Bibi and Camila but THANKFULLY she didn't. I cried the most over her because of everything with her mom and aunt. (Also because I saw myself so much in her but that's beside the point.) She deserved so much better in life and just once again, so happy things got better for her.

Camila was an amazing friend, and I think everyone needs someone like her. I thought she was a little shady at the beginning or thought she even liked Bibi! I'm really glad she didn't though and was just someone who helped them. Yes, her argument with Amy was dumb but they acknowledged it and moved on, and that was my only real big complaint with her. After they made up, she was super cute to me and I need to see her happy ending. I might also love her because she looks like Hyuna from Alien stage.

Ok so I loved these because we get more of the characters and that's never anything bad. I just wish we got more of Camila because I really love her T-T I also wish that we got more of Joy and Nick but there was a small amount of side stories so that's my only big complaint.

Linda and Kitty's little love story was so sweet and I'm so glad we got to see more of Linda's past. Her development to less cynical was really nice and added onto the message that love can heal. I'm also really glad Kitty wasn't just a background character because her story was nice.

Yay character relationship deepdive i love these, except this time we got a pretty complex one on our (er, my) hands.

Bare in mind humanverse is a little different/more politcally charged than Smurfverse so just a little warning for complex inner turmoil and small town prejudice. With that being said lets get to it

Wooly wasn't exactly raised in an educated town, so he didn't have access to a lot of terms for 'others' as his father would have called them. His parent's relationship was far from the ideal model of romance and he knew that even as a child. Sheriff didn't go out of his way to set a good example at all, and frankly so long as his son married a good white Christian girl he'd have considered his parenting a success. He certainly tried introducing Wooly to nice church girls at a young age and this was perhaps Wooly's first indication of 'hm ok they're pretty ig' and not much else. He didn't take the initiative to court any which caused suspicion from his father but he was like 'dad I'm 10' and that got rid of the issue for now. It was true that some of his friends had puppy love crushes back then but Wooly would often lie about having them too and just pick the most conventionally attractive girls in town to claim he liked because he thought that's how it worked.

This continued well into his teens until at 16 it finally happened. The sister of one of the Mexican ranch hands he worked with; Camila Martinez, his first actual crush. He knew his father would hate her and truthfully that spurred him on slightly but also he did genuinley enjoy her company and found her pretty. He felt some sort of relief that at least he was 'normal' as his peers would put it and could show that off now. A couple years go by and Wooly and Camila are just kinda drifting. You know, typical teen stuff. She was ready to settle down and start a family already and Wooly was. Not. He didn't really know why, he would have even stood up to his dad over her but between his mom leaving a while back and his own insecurities about the idea of having kids he kept trying to change the subject. Eventually they just kinda drifted apart. Such is life, Camila was engaged 6 months later to another ranch hand. Huh.

Wooly is a little baffled and ends up discussing everything with her brother Alejandro, his original friend. His venting gets a little heated but it's ok it's 11pm and dark and there's no one on the ranch at this point and the next thing he knows he's … kissing him? Weird. Same sex attraction was never discussed around town and absolutely forbidden to be discussed in anything but a negative light at his home and if Sherrif knew he'd have tossed his own son out onto the streets. So of course Wooly carries on. Truthfully he doesn't crush on Alejandro like he did his sister but they do keep up the relationship, hiding it from the entire town and Wooly realises even if he doesn't necessarily LIKE Alejandro he's certainly not opposed to men on the whole. Alejandro in the meantime realises he's very much gay and wants to challenge the small town notions of this by coming out publicly. Wooly panics and breaks off the relationship because he does NOT but promises to protect his friend. A few months later, Wooly runs from his hometown and doesn't look back.

On the road in between cities Wooly pretty much remains a lonesome cowboy and is .. MOSTLY ok with that. He thought being out from under his father's tumb might magically give him insight on who he is but it doesn't really happen. He does learn a couple lgbt+ terms and since he knows he liked both men and women figures he's probably bi, but even then he still just … struggles to make connections. He knows it's probably not normal to have one single crush his entire 18+ years of life but no matter how many more people he meets he only MAYBE feels a spark for one or two others, compared to the way his peers have always had lists of people they liked or how casual dating seems to be a thing in certain scenes. He doesn't NEED a connection to fancy people, he's seen attractive strangers on the street and felt a little flutter, but he stills feels like it's not 'enough'. Sheriff, for all his horrific parenting, was still Wooly's only father figure and left a bad impression on the way he insisted men should constantly have certain thoughts and Wooly just didn't. Maybe sometimes he did, but not in the way he felt his friends had it near-constantly on their minds. But again he was on the run he didn't think too much about it.

Eventually Wooly travels to Europe to set up a new town with a Mr.Smurf. A few years later, he meets an English man named Tracker Foster. A bit younger than him but not obscenely so, and they eventually realise they both had sucky parents and bonded over that trauma. Eventually Tracker began dropping hints he liked Wooly and Wooly … surprisingly liked him back. Not intensely, more of a dull acknowledgment that there was romantic chemistry. And since Tracker was the first man Wooly had OPENLY dated he tried to make the most of it. Wooly once again encounters the inner voice of 'ok so I AM bi but this still isn't the whirlwind of emotions I expect' and after a while he breaks it off because he starts to feel bad he can't return Tracker's intensity.

From that point on Wooly prettyyy much stayed single. He still occasionally experienced the very rare bout of longing for something less lonely but he was content to sneaking off to the next couple of towns over and being back by morning. It was still kind of a lonely existance though, and truthfully Wooly didn't LIKE being totally alone it sucked. He also knew the chances of him genuinely finding and maintaining feelings for someone were low.

He discovered something important from Lazy of all people. Someone Wooly had considered a good-fer-nuthin-layabout truth be told. And yet he overhears Lazy discussing his biromantic greysexual orientation with another Smurf. Well that's a new one. Wooly starts to research. The more he researches the more he goes 'just like me fr'. Lazy's romantic orientation was more consistent than Wooly's so Wooly starts to consider himself a bi grey-rom grey-ace and for the first time clarity hits him like a ton of bricks. It's not the macho heterosexual man that his father expected and he doesn't care. He now feels like his head is cleared for the first time in a long, long time, and he gains introspection on all his past relationships and how he felt about them.

Eventually, enter Spinner Chait, stage left. The two get stuck in a cave on the way to a mountain village where Spinner confesses to being aro-ace. The whole journey leaves them bonded and even after coming back to the village they remain close friends. Partly due to their jobs being intertwined (no pun intended) but also its just. Nice to have a buddy that can share somewhat similar experiences, though Wooly is honest about experiencing occasional attractions. Congrats, achievement; best friend unlocked.

The more they hang out the more the dynamic starts to become it's own thing and unspoken rules start to establish themselves. Spinner stays up all night one night and is dead on his feet the next day. Wooly calls him a crazy fool and gives him a little kiss on the forehead and its .. actually it's fine. Spinner wouldn't let anyone else do that who wasn't related to him but it's ok actually. If anything it's sorta nice, Spinner doesn't mind a little bit of physical affection he's just never wanted the other person to take it the wrong way.

And Wooly doesn't because the dynamic works for both of them. He's no longer worried he can't match up to the intensity of a romantic partner because that's not what it is. Spinner's not worried Wooly is mistaking his gifts and hugs for flirting because he's not. There's still boundaries in place of course but Wooly's willing to share his wool lined blankets in winter and Spinner's happy to steal them /lh. A queerplatonic relationship is just the right fit. If Wooly wanted he COULD have a romantic relationship with someone else too but honestly he's more than happy with this situation.

Surely nothing could ever happen that would irreversibly alter a large section of their lives right?

i think vee would know like. Immediately. not even for reasonable reasons. vee is just going insane with worry/guilt/panic over camila and eda comes in with this.. witchlet? that looks exactly like a little a camila. and.. she doesnt take her cloak off. even inside. and.. oh. oh. eda just called her luz.

i think this would Very Quickly Escalate into vee going full fucking basilisk, pushing eda away and leering over luz and hollering "WHERE IS MY MOM?"

and luz, god blessed diplomat, goes "shes ok shes ok!! she is completely safe and allowed to leave when she wants!!" which. Good. and then she adds "and shes even guarded by my best guard!! the golden guard!!" which. Bad.

GOD.

i think the main things saving this precise scenario from happening in the fic canon would be 1) camila will undoubtedly have contacted vee by the time luz visits the human realm, maybe even having gone home to prove she really CAN freely move about the castle, and 2) eda's visit would be brief enough for vee not to clock the weirdest of luz's mannerisms.

right now what i'm picturing for potential fic canon is that eda introduces luz as luz and vee is like ".....oh. luz :)" and is Looking At Luz in a Deeply Suspicious way. and luz is nervously pulling her hood further over her ears like that'll make her look less like camila somehow. and there's this moment where both of them are clearly waiting to see if the other will acknowledge it, but neither of them is REMOTELY ready. vee is just so desperately fucking relieved that she met eda in her human form today.

HOWEVER. i do want to splash in this drama sandbox. So Much.

luz gets through the "no no no, she's okay, no one's gonna hurt her" thing so earnestly that vee instinctively backs off. and then luz mentions the golden guard and vee is immediately back in full predator mode. "you LEFT HER with HIM???"

luz has never seen a basilisk before but assumes that vee is an isles demon with unusual magic, since demons come in so many shapes and sizes and species. and she's like "he won't hurt her, he already promised me -- wait, how do you even know him?? how did you get HERE??"

Hot Take: Luz’s arc in S3 would have worked better if she started drawing parallels to and questioning her actions in reference to CALEB, not Belos. She left her mom because she didn’t fit in and wanted more in life, like Caleb left Philip behind, and she sees her current actions as unintentionally harming those she cares about, just as Caleb’s decision hurt Philip and his attempts at calming Pip down and preventing him from hurting Evelyn only caused Caleb’s own demise, Evelyn’s grieving, their child to have no father, and Philip’s further descent into madness. We’d have much needed insight into the backstory and internal conflict that actually makes a bit more sense? And perhaps some sympathetic insight into Belos on Luz’s end, as she’d recognize Belos’ less than ideal upbringing???

Totally with you there, anon. Luz just spent most of season 3 angsting over "helping" Belos when narratively, this does nothing for her character and her friends end up supporting her because they have done nothing but support her.

Camila acknowledged her mistakes as a parent but Luz never really owns up to hers this season. Luz's arc in the last season is to be depressed about helping the evil tyrant, have her friends try to get her out of her rut (one of whom was just possessed by his abusive uncle and he has to emotionally support her), talk to her mom and learn how it's ok to make mistakes, her palisman hatches because she wants to be "understood" even though this hasn't really been a concern of hers in a whole season, have a nightmare sequence about her friends blaming her again for helping Belos even though we just resolved this and the nightmare isn't even broken by a deep character revelation, she helps rehabilitate the Collector, dies, comes back with Titan powers, and defeats Belos.

So instead of bringing the Luz/Philip/Caleb parallels to the forefront as they were doing a whole season and for the first two episodes of season 3, the show dumps all of that and adds in unnecessary drama that has no narrative tension and is resolved with pep talk, and basically turns her into the hero of her fantasy stories.

We could have had a real character moment for Luz as she realizes her past wrongs and confronts Belos that she really isn't like him--not because he's evil and she's good but because they both had similar goals and desires but she realized that her desires were selfish and harmful and grew as a person because of it, while he clung onto his desires and beliefs and destroyed himself and nearly everyone else in the process.

We could have had more on Belos' thought process instead of "lol, he's just evil!" and how it was a perfect storm of factors that made Belos. Perhaps we could have had Belos realize all this since they seemed to suggest his repressed guilt in "For the Future."

We could have had it all.

-Also I might be misremembering but (excluding Lilith) of all the characters who talk about Hooty she's the nicest. She makes one off-handed comment. So she'd be able to get along with Hooty.

This is a short ghost story that a lot of Argentinian students read during primary school (around 5th or 6th grade). Almost everyone remembers it for the rest of their life because it's actually quite spooky.

I couldn't find the English translation, so I took it upon myself to translate it. Enjoy.

Lots of times (and by my own request) my unforgettable uncle Tomás told me this “horror” story some summer nights back when I was a little girl and went fishing with him.

He sworn it had happened in some small town in the Buenos Aires province. In Pergamino or Junín or Santa Lucía… I don’t remember exactly where or when the event took place and (unfortunately) he’s been gone for years now and cannot answer my questions. What I do remember is that, among all the stories my uncle used to tell me while he held the rod over the river and I lay next to him, facing the stars, this was one of my favorites.

—It gives you goose bumps and (yet) you love listening to it! Who can understand this niece of mine? — said my uncle to me—. Ah, but I don’t want to hear your mom complaining later, ok? I’ll tell the story again if you swear…

And then I sworn again that I would keep the secret, that my mom wouldn’t find out he had told me this story again, and that I’ll spend the night without calling for her when (back at home) I went to bed in the solitude of my bedroom.

I’ve always kept my promises. That’s why this story about hands (like many others I suspect where made up by my uncle, or remembered from his own childhood) was told to me once and once again.

And once and once again I told this story myself (years later) to my own “nieldren” just like (now) I’m about to tell it to you: like if you (too) were my niece or my nephew, my daughter or my son and you request me:

—C’mon auntie! C’mon mommy! A “horror” story!

So. Here it goes:

Martina, Camila and Oriana were very best friends.

Not only they went to the same school but (also) they spent time together after school. Sometimes to do their homework, and sometimes simply hang out. From fall to spring the three of them used to spend some weekends in a house Martina’s family had in the countryside.

They had so much fun! So many games outdoor, bike rides, horse rides, bonfires at dusk…

That mid winter Saturday, for example, they had fully enjoyed the day, and the cheerfulness of the girls was present, still, during dinner in the countryside house’s dining room because grandma Odila had a surprise awaiting for them:  before going to bed she was going to teach them some tap dancing moves, to the beat of some old albums she had brought for the occasion. Martina’s grandmother was adorable. She didn’t look her age. Always active, charming, in a good mood, and chatty. She had been an excellent tap dancer. The girls knew it, and so they asked her to dance with them.

—Why don’t you leave it for tomorrow afternoon? Now’s time to rest. Also, grandma has been doing stuff all day, she didn’t stop for one minute. She must be exhausted.

Mantina’s mom tried, in vain, to convince them to go to bed. The four of them and not just the girls, because the grandma was not willing to end that day without the promised dance session. That’s how, soon after and while the parents, the dogs, and the cat took seats in the living room, the grandma and the three girls got ready for a homemade function of tap dancing.

Outside the wind seemed to want to join in with its own melody: it whistled furiously in the trees. Above, high above, in the sky with the stars hidden behind big stormy clouds.

The improvised dance class lasted almost an hour. Enough time for Martina, Camila and Oriana to learn, between giggles, some tap moves, and for the grandma to end up exhausted and flustered.

Soon, all of them went to their rooms.

Around the house, the night was as dark as the high top hat they had worn for the function.

The tree girls had already gone to bed. They were in the guest bedroom, like every time they stayed at that house.

It was a big bedroom in the first floor. It had windows that looked to the backyard and that let in the moon shine (although not in nights like that one, of course, in which the darkness was a huge cloak that covered everything).

In the room there were three single beds, placed parallel to one another in a row, separated by sturdy nightstands.

Martina slept on the bed to the left, because she preferred to be by the door. Camila, on the bed to the right because she liked the place next to the window. And Oriana slept in the middle bed because she was easily scared and said that she felt protected by her friends that way.

The girls had just fallen asleep when the voice of the father woke them up suddenly. He was getting dressed (again and in a hurry) while he said to them:

—Grandma feels unwell. Nothing too serious, we think, but we’re taking her to the town’s hospital, just to be safe. We’ll be back soon. Mom says you mustn’t get up, try to sleep until we come back. See you later.

To sleep? Who can sleep after hearing such bad news? Not the girls, at least, worried about the beloved grandma’s health. And least could they sleep after they heard the sound of the father’s car leaving the house. To the uncertainty of the waiting it was added the fear to the noises of the storm that, finally, had decided to dishevel over the night.

Thunder and lightning shook the hearts.

Lightning bolts, like giant and electrified fireflies.

The wind spreading out like never before.

—I’m scared! I’m so scared! — cried Oriana suddenly.

The other two were also scared but remained quiet, swallowing their uneasiness.

Martina tried to calm down her friend (and to calm down herself, there’s no point in denying it) by turning the light on. Camila did the same.

Oriana’s bed was, then, the best lit of the three, since it was in the middle of the two lamps.

—It’s nothing. The storm makes it seem worse than what it is, that’s all— said Martina, trying to cheer up and convince herself.

—They’ll be back with grandma soon. I’m sure. —said Camila.

And so, between Oriana’s whines and the comfort words of her more courageous friends, about a quarter hour went by in every clock.

When the one in the living room, a huge grandfather clock, pointed twelve with its hollow chimes, the young ladies felt quite calmed down, even though the storm threatened to be endless.

The lights went out suddenly.

—Don’t play pranks on me! —cried Oriana—Turn on the light, you’re being mean! — and, frightened, stretch her hand over the nightstand trying to find the switch.

She only found her friends hands doing the same.

— I didn’t turn off anything, you fool! —whined Camila.

—The power must have gone out! — thought Martina out loud.

She was right. Too many electricity playing mischief in the skies and none there in the house, where it was so very needed in such moments…

Orinana burst into tears, disconsolate.

—I’m so scared! Someone has to go the kitchen for some candles! Someone has to go down and bring matches and candles! Or a flashlight!

—“Someone has to” “Someone has to” and who will be that someone? Hm? — protested Camila— Me? No way!

— Me neither! — added Martina—. Oriana thinks I’m Superkid, but I’m not. I’m also scared. What did you think? Also my mom said we must stay in bed, remember?

Oriana cried with her head under the pillow.

—Bwaaaah… What do we do? I’m terrified! Please go down and bring the candles… Be nice… Bwaaaah…

Martina felt sorry for her friend. Even though they were the same age, Oriana looked younger and behaved likewise. Martina took pity on her and acted like a big sister.

—Well, well, stop crying, Ori. Relax… I thought of something so we won’t be afraid anymore, okay?

—W…what? — stuttered Oriana.

—What are we going to do? — Camila showed interest too (it was to be expected: even if she didn’t complain, she was trembling).

Martina kept on explaining;

—We get in bed under our blankets (each of us in our own bed) and then we stretch our arms out and hold hands.

They did so immediately.

Of course, Oriana felt the most comforted: being between her two friends she could feel the hand of both her friends when she stretched her arms.

—Ori, you’re so lucky, huh? —joked Camila.

—In your bed you get company from both sides…

—Yet, we…—Martina ended the thought— with only one hand…

And so, holding hands tightly, the three girls shook off most of their fears.

Soon they were all asleep.

Outside, the storm started to say goodbye.

—Thank goodness, Grandma feels well again— the mother told them the next day at dawn, as soon as she was back in the house with her husband and her mother in law, when they went to check on the girls—. It was just a scare.

Since when she came back the girls were sound asleep, the grandma herself was the one who woke them up and told them everything was in order. They were so happy!

—That’s how I like it. You’re so brave! Well done—and the grandma kissed them and promised to bring the breakfast back to bed, to pamper them a little, after the nerve-wrecking night they had passed.

—We’re not so brave, ma’am… at least not me…— whispered Oriana, a bit embarrassed for her behavior the night before—. It was your granddaughter who got us to calm down…

After that confession, the parents and the grandma wanted to know what had they done to not be too scared.

So the three friends told them:

—We got under our blackest. Like this…

—And we stretched our arms. Like this…

—And we hold hands tightly. Like this…

What they realized that very moment gave the girls goose bumps ! And the parents and the grandma too.

No matter how hard they tried, stretching their arms as much as possible, their children hands couldn’t even grace each other.

They had to move the beds on the sides more than a palm before they could barely touch their fingertips.

And yet, the three of them had really felt their hands being held, as soon as they tried Martina’s idea.

—Whose hand??? —asked them, as the adults tried to conceal their own fear.

—Whose hands??? — corrected them Oriana, making a horrified face. She had felt hands on both sides!

Hands.

Four extra hands, besides the six belonging to the girls, moving in the darkness of that night, trying to reach out for other hands, searching for some hands to hold on.

Human hands.

Spectral hands.

(Maybe, every once in a while, ghosts get afraid too… and they need us…).

Violetta female character: Camila. She canonically is pretty good with kids, having babysat several of her cousins onscreen. I think she also comes from a big family and always enjoyed the family life. But, Camila is just not good with relationships. She would have a kid with herself. Strong independent single mom thriving.

Violetta male character: Leon. I may have been influenced by Papás por encargo but I see dad potential in Leon.

I watched the episode when it premeired last night but i hit post limit so couldnt post about it. Spoilers under the cut. sorry if anything is out of order lol im sick and im just throwing everything i thought last night down on this post.

-Luz being attacked by Amity genuinely made me cry

-"My girlfriend is too big a nerd to misremember an Azura quote" -luz probably

One-Shot: Belos' Demise And A New Era Of Peace

It was a quiet day on the Boiling Isles. Colli had a very bad feeling! The small starboy with otherworldly fluffy lavender hair and a heart of gold sensed that something terrible was going to happen. Something involving Belos.

"Are you ok, Sunshine?" Hunter asked softly. "Something is going to happen, big brother! Something horrible!" Colli's small body was trembling. The young Grimwalker wrapped his arms around his beloved little brother.

Later, Colli decided to tell the rest of his family about his concern. "That doesn't sound good, Little Star. We should stay on guard." The Owl Lady turned into her Harpy form and took a flight through the Isles.

"Mom, be careful." Colli whispered. "She'll be fine, Little Cherub." Camila said softly. Darius and Raine agreed with her. "I hope you're right, Mami." The immortal and eternal child's big siblings pulled him into a hug to calm his nerves.

What no one suspected was, that Belos already was inside of The Owl House. The former Emporer managed to possess Raine. As soon as the Bard Coven Head noticed it, they immediately left the house to keep everyone safe.

Especially, their precious Little Songbird. Raine could feel Belos' sheer hatred for Colli. Belos took full control over Raine's body and was on his way to his old Castle. The goopy puritan gave up his plans for possessing Colli.

Belos wanted to control The Titan instead! His beating heart was still in the throne room. Belos left Raine's body and crawled into the direction of The Titan's Heart! Soon, Belos and The Titan became one! "Oh, no!" Raine whispered and ran back to the Owl House.

Meanwhile, Eda didn't fail to notice the familiar eyes of a certain puritan everywhere! "Little Star was right!" "Eda, what is this?!" King asked, clearly shocked. "Belos is possessing The Titan!" Raine called as soon they arrived home.

Colli, who heard everything, knew that he had to fight Belos. The kindhearted celestial boy was a pacifist through and through, but he was determined to protect everyone! Colli started to float. Hunter knew what Colli was about to do.

"Colli, we're not going to let you go alone! We will stay by your side, no matter what!" Luz spoke up what Hunter was thinking. "Ok. But promise me that you will not endanger yourselves! Unlike me, you aren't immortal." Colli chimed in.

Colli, his parents, his siblings and his Aunt Lilith with Hooty, were on their way to their final confrontation with Belos! The celestial boy's family made a silent agreement to protect Colli at any cost! Colli was blissfully unaware.

"Hello, my Little Battery!" Belos' booming voice spoke to Colli. "Don't you dare referring to him as your 'Little Battery', Belos!" Hunter was angry. Very, very, VERY angry! Belos was clearly amused and laughed manically.

Then, he targeted Colli with an attack! "NO!" Luz pushed her beloved little brother out of the way and took the hit for Colli. "I'm so glad that you are alright, Colli." Luz smiled. The small starboy had to watch his beloved big sister fade away. The whole family was devastated!

"No... please no... NOOOOO!" Colli was wailing. Luz, his savior, his amazing big sister, sacrificed herself to keep him safe. "How dare you... HOW DARE YOU TAKING MY BIG SISTER'S LIFE, BELOS?!" Colli was crying.

"Luz..." Camila was sobbing. "You are next!" Belos said as he looked at Colli. The eternal child was immortal, but he had no idea what would happen to him should he get hit by this powerful beam. Then, a miracle happened!

Luz was back and she had Titan powers. "LUZ!" Her whole family pulled her into a group hug. Colli was crying tears of joy as he cuddled close to her. "Awwww, I love you too, Colli! But we have to defeat Jerklos!"

Colli used his magic to tie up Belos with pretty pink bindings. "Luz, NOW!" The lavender haired starboy didn't know how long he could bind Belos. Hunter, Vee, Eda, Lilith, Hooty, Camila, Darius and Raine charged at Belos to weaken him.

Luz managed to make the finishing blow. "NOW EAT THIS, SUCKER!" Luz ripped Belos out the The Titan's heart. Belos slowly died. He asked for help and mercy, but it was useless. The former Emporer finally was gone for good! Luz, who lost her Titan powers again, couldn't believe that Philip Wittebane finally met his demise!

"You died for me, big sister..." Colli whispered as he floated up to press with infinite tenderness his forehead against Luz'. "Colli, you would've done the same for me! For everyone of us!" Luz kissed softly Colli's freckled cheek.

The sweethearted starboy with otherworldly fluffy lavender hair and his family knew that this was the beginning of a new era. An era of peace. On the Boiling Isles and in the Human Realm. Colli, who was expected by everyone from the Boiling Isles to become the new Emporer, still needed time to think about it.

The owl house wrapped up recently and to celebrate I made some art and realized hey I should probably start posting here

ALRIGHT WHILE I AM NEVER GOING TO BE ABLE TO RETYPE MY THOUGHTS I JUST LOST HERS MY LLSHORT OF IT

I love the owl house so much and that finale was just amazing. Sure it wasn't perfect but it was damn good even without considering the MASSIVE type cuts. It was just so good and satisfying and AGHHHH I LOVED IT!!!! This show means so much to me!!!! So of course I had to draw my favorite character and the main character herself. But I decided to draw her epilogue design bc I love it so much. Luz means so much to me and is just so relatable. Before I started watching and had no context I thought I'd relate to amity cause I too was a baby gay with a crush I didn't know what to do with. But then I watched the show and wow. Luz hit me so hard, harder than any character has before. I've never related to any character more and that just became more true as the show went on. Especially later when she clearly is suffering from depression that really hit me since I was going through the same dark space. I related to hard to how her depression completely changed her from the peppy and bubbly kid she was. But to see the epilogue where Luz is now the same age as me and happy and even though her problems did change her so much she's ok? That just really gives me hope.

Now onto the drawing, I just had to draw her epilogue design bc wow thats like my favorite ending credits ever?!?! And her design is just a home run in the epilogue especially her keeping those lil lashes!!! I threw in my headcanons like the genderfluid pin, the multiple pins themselves (Luz is a pin and sticker hoarder argue with the wall) and the toof!!! She should definitely keep the lil fang I love it. Also I gave her slightly more purple hair, the fang and glowing eyes as remnants of her titan form. I like the idea that maybe the 1st night back to normal at her moms house she goes down to get a midnight snack and camila thinks she's one of the boiling isles kids bc of her glowing eyes(which I headcanon witches and demons all have) and luz is like???? It's luz not one of the others??? And my eyes aren't glowing??? And camila just grabs her and puts her in front of a mirror to show yes they very much are. Who knows I may make a comic

I really loved the finale it was just so good and emotional. If you wanna get my thoughts in a more haphazard form my instagram post has that lol. More reaction. And I may post my thoughts I WOULD HAVE HAD HERE in different posts eventually who knows. But yeah I realized I should really start posting here. Procrastination + imposter syndrome is a hell of a combo. But yeah im here now! I also have an insta by the same name(just with underscores) and soon to have a portfolio site(stay tuned muhahaha)

im updating this headcanon since my brain is always evolving and i just prefer this new one better, i think it makes more sense, and its even more similar to canon imo.

ava, after the car accident that killed her mom, has chronic pain, especially on the area of the spine, but also on the limbs.

since ava has had to deal with this since she was very young, while it was an absolute fucking nightmare for the first years, by the time she got to her late teens, she knew how to live her life with her disability, and fuck anyone who tries to rain on her parade.

she has a folding wheelchair, since she's not about to be suffering all day for nothing when she can relieve some of her pain when she can. she will bug you until you fucking accommodate her, cuz thats the least u can do.

for my uni au, during her classes, is always sitting down, even if everyone else is standing, cuz she wants to conserve her energy. she does meet camila and beatrice, and they both help her out with everything she needs.

btw this does not stop ava from being her chaotic golden retriever self. in no way whatsoever. it just means she is pretty good at improving, and knows how to get herself into a situation while being in a wheelchair the whole time, just chilling.

also!! because her n beatrice get to be roomates for their second year, bea sometimes has to help ava out when using the stairs of their apartment complex. most of the time, since ava is charging up the whole day, she can just do it on her own. sometimes she cannot, cuz we all have bad days. other times she just wants bea to hold her up all the way (cheeky cheeky)

How do you expect the....situation with Camilla to end?

With Luz ending up staying in the Boiling Isles and Camila staying in the human realm with Vee...I'm not kidding.

I'd imagine it would go similar to the ending of Toy Story 4 (spoilers if you haven't seen that, by the way), with Luz saying goodbye to her surprisingly large collection of friends with Camila witnessing all of it, seeing how much these witches and demons mean so much to Luz with each second. Right when Luz is about ready to leave with Camila through a portal that will forever be closed for both world's safety, this happens:

Camila: It'll be ok, mija.

Luz: I know, mom...

Camila: ...I'll be ok.

Luz then looks up to see Camila in tears, but still pushing for a smile. She then pulls Luz into a hug and Luz, putting two and two together, hugs Camila back, with even more tears starting to flow. They say their long, tearful goodbyes, and Camila walks through the portal alone where Luz runs for a group hug with her new family.

Later, in the Noceda household, Vee comes up to Camila, trying all she can to help the grieving mother.

Vee: I know that I won't be able to replace her. No one could replace her. But, if you want, I can be here to...make sure no one wonders what happened to Luz.

Camila gets the hidden meaning behind those words, and gratefully hugs Vee.

Camila: I guess that would be wise, wouldn't it...

And boom. Series over.
