And the girls also seem to be getting akumatized much more often than the guys in the show. Yeah, you have the pigeon dude with 70+ akumatizations but he's esentially a gag character and only 2 of his akumatizations got episodes dedicated to them. When it comes to the secondary characters Chloe, Lila, Kagami, Juleka and Alya all got akumatized around 6-10 times and almost all of their akumatizations got episodes dedicated to them, while when it comes to the boys in class or the hero team the most someone has is Nino at like only 4 akumatizations total. I can't help but think this plays on the "women are much more emotional that men" stereotype.

Oh it definitely does. Like, the creator himself defines Marinette's issue is her being emotional, but not Adrien’s, who can be just as emotional, and incredibly immature with it. Only difference is his feelings matter while Marinette's doesn't.

It also adds to the stereotype when only girls have rivalries and much of it comes down to a boy. And most of the focus of girl time centers around said boy and getting invested in the crush.

And honestly, I think including these can be fine, you just need to shake it up and spread it out.

It's fine to have the girls get together about crushes, but they also need to do more outside of it.

It's fine to do the trope of rival girls fighting over a guy, especially if you cam do something different or fun with it; but I also expect the guys to get something too. Like, Kim easily could've been Adrien’s adversary because s1, Kim was a bit of a bully, and he likes Chloe. Who does Chloe like? Adrien. Realistically, competitive Kim should see Adrien as his biggest competition to take out and win. Which actually could've been really funny to see play out, and there could've been this whole arc of them becoming bros. We missed out on a bromance of shenanigans!

And if we had gotten a Chloe redemption, could've balanced out her and Marinette becoming friends.

And you know, I'm good seeing girls and guys getting emotional, especially characters that are 14-15 in age, teenagers are going to be emotional. The big issue is them not balancing out the response to them being emotional. Mindful, it can all be circumstantial, but there are times I feel characters need to be allowed their outbursts, need that comfort or to have their feelings treated seriously; other times it feels like they're being a brat and need to get over it, especially when it's not the time or place for it.

Unfortunately they didn't do so, though I feel it would be obvious to do so, but no we expect too much. Now we just eyeball what we get with dissatisfaction.

The Farm of Spencer Spector; A Petrifying Mishap

Nestled on the edge of Ashwood lays a small farm, a few fields of produce and a two story wooden house sat among a few acres of land, just in front of a Large and dark forest. No one in Ashwood ever went into that forest. Strange stories of inhuman beings wandering in and out of it scared almost everyone away. But Spencer Spector wasn't just anyone, and she had been comfortably living there for many years. 

She was a spry old woman, brown hair streaked with grey, crows feet under her blue eyes, and perpetual grass stains on her jeans. 

No one remembered her ever hiring anyone, or having any family nearby, yet she still had guests walking about her property. And some swore they saw a strange creature milling about the fields, carrying a scythe. 

But she was a friendly and kind woman who ran a successful stall at the farmers market, and frankly made some of the best pies in town. So no one payed much mind to her strange company. 

Recently she posted an add for someone to help her keep up with her work and chores, her age was making it hard for her, the add sat for weeks untouched till one day a new stranger cam into town. 

“-and thats why I think this years stall should be themed around something less scary.” Spencer finished, taking a sip of her coffee. She was sitting on her porch and talking to one of her ‘strange’ friends- Oreta.  “Oh- do you remember that Ad i put out a few weeks ago?”

“The one for a house keeper, or was it a farm hand?” Oreta asked

“It was both. Someone answered it!” 

“Really?” Oreta took a sip out of her own glass. “Have they… met your ‘other visitors’ yet?”

“Only a few, Zack nearly gave them a heart attack, apparently they’re not from Ashwood and managed to miss all the rumors people spread about his palace.”

“And they still wanted to work here?”

“Yep, poor kid’s having a bit of a housing issue and only wanted a place to stay.”

“Oh poor thing.”

“I know, so I let them stay in the guest bedroom.”

“Must be a pretty bad fix if they still wanted the job.”

“Oh no,” Spencer smiled, “they were quite curious about Zack after they calmed down and, so far, have been getting along with the others pretty well.”

“Whats they’re name” Oreta asked

“ its ‘Mike’ but spelled funny-, M-I-C.”

“Oh like microphone?”

“Yes.”

“Interesting,” Oreta held her glass up to the snakes popping out of her head, three of them took a sip, “well im glad you’ve gotten stable help. I know you have Zack but theres only so much he can do. With his wooden limbs and such.”

“Hey Miss Spector!” 

Spencer and Oreta turned towards the source of the noise, there was Zack; a strange being made of burlap sacks, wooden planks for legs, hinged arms that dragged on the floor with crude fingers, stitched clothing that barely fit its body, and stood about six feet tall. Who was expected, then there was Mic; 

Human, about five foot three, pale, short brown hair with a streak of green in the bangs, green overalls, miss-matching pink and green socks, fingerless striped pink gloves, and heavy eyeliner around their russet eyes.

“Zack and I got all the corn-” Mic meet eyes with Oreta and stoped moving, eyes wide.

“Oh shoot!” Spencer clapped a hand over her mouth. 

“You forgot to give them a anti-petrification charm didn't you?” Oreta asked, unclipping the reflective sunglasses from her shirt and putting them over her eyes.

“I did. Could you go inside and get Zyler for me?”

“No problem.”

A few hours later Zyler, a witch, had removed the petrification from Mic. Mic swayed to the side and was able to steady themselves, shaking their head to get a grip on what had happened.

“I am so sorry, I’ll get you an anti-petrification charm as soon as I can, I promise!” Spencer said, offering Mic a glass of water.

“Your fine Miss Spector.” Mic said, balancing against the counter and taking the glass.

“The nassau should were off in an hour or two!” Oreta said from the kitchen door way, “i’ll be sure to keep my glasses on till you get that charm.”

“Thanks.” Mic nodded to the Gorgon.

“Im just gonna leave you with this,” Zyler said as he handed Spencer a ornate bottle of the de-petrification potion, “Im not gonna be in town for a few days.”

I'm not saying the system is perfect. Hell, I'm not even saying I trust the system or those running it currently. Those saying "sMaLl GuBuRnMeNT!!" Have absolutely no problem with overreach if it's overreach to something they agree with. That said, change isn't going to happen overnight, and once/if we actually get a congress that unilaterally tries to bolster the working and middle class while - yes, I will say it - GOUGING billionaires and CEOs from being "politician and spaceship buying rich" to just "ordinary lives of luxury that none of us will ever attain." If you think that tax/gouge applies to you or ever might, check your bank account and see if it has 10 or more digits under "available balance." Chances are, it's not for you, and never will be, so rip off the bandage and kill that dream now. Regarding police, we need reform there as well. A good start was body cams being required, but some cops still seem to forget they are wearing them or threaten to quit if they are newly made to wear one. A new good step would be a randomized test on morals, ethics, and empathy, requiring a passing score to qualify. As for privilege, I know exactly where I stand and know both the establishment and police would have no issue gunning me down like the rodent they see me as before moving on with their lives. Maybe wake up to that fact yourself.

I actually was sooo surprised by Palamedes missing Harrow!! Sometimes it feels like Muir retconned the fact that it’s GIDEON who made friends, because she is almost never missed and in Nona it’s obvious that they were waiting for Harrow to wake up.

Like Kiriona makes Sex Pal joke and the characters don’t act relieved or sad, and overall act like they don’t care for her even when it’s so evident that Gideon cares and is happy to see Palamedes in Nona, but Pal misses Harrows frown? For real? What’s up with that?

It feels very like “she is not a necromancer so Pal doesn’t care as much and Cam is not really in the place to care about anyone because of the horrors”, but that’s not who Palamedes is. Can definitely liked Gideon a lot. I feel like Muir herself sort of maybe actually contributes to that thing that “Harrow is overrated” anon is talking about.

Harrow is great, don’t get me wrong and I loved how Muir wrote her mental illness, but also Harrow never faces consequences of her being a major bitch if you know what I mean. Harrow acts horrible to most people that she meets, excluding like John who is literally a God. And yet she is treated like the most precious beloved by the other characters. Which is fine but also maybe a lot? Like she is also gods favorite??? And the Earth thinks that she’s special? What else? Should The Universe appear and kiss Harrows ass also?

It’s just not that balanced, I think. Like some of these people were supposed to show preference to Gideon over Harrow on the account of the fact that it was actually Gideon who made friends with them while Harrow was burning herself out and being horrible to everyone.

Ooooh, the "I miss Harrow terribly" line! I thought it felt very #meta. You're right that Palamedes was Gideon's friend before he was Harrow, and they really barely interacted, but in HtN he was absolutely overjoyed to see her. He spent months trapped in the River bubble and she was the one who gave him the opportunity to communicate with Camilla and return to the world. I think that retroactively made him fonder of Harrow than he might have been otherwise. Also, I think that taking care of Harrow's body for six months and seeing Nona behave so differently and carefree played a part, too. Like, I don't think that line was completely random, but I think it was there also to be a wink to the readers.

Team Pal not missing Gideon! You're RIGHT on this one. I think Kiriona's appearance really threw them off; Camilla had just fought a duel nearly to the death to get a chance to steal Gideon's body and then! surprise! Gideon's body is walking and talking and calling herself a Prince of the First House, and she's enormously bitter and nowhere as easygoing as they remembered. I think their reaction is understandable; they'd built up Gideon as this friendly, selfless paragon of virtue in their minds, and she wakes up as they're about to draw blood from her dead body and acts thoroughly pissed off. tbh, that's the same reaction many readers had to Gideon's reappearance in NtN, so I get it! It makes sense! It does make me want to hug her though.

On Harrow not facing consequences: I think she does, though? Like, she is miserable for her entire life. She hates herself, she blames herself for her parents’ deaths, she has actively been sucidal. She does make Gideon’s life hell, but frankly even with all of her issues and absolutely abusive upbringing, I think Gideon was less fundamentally unhappy than Harrow was. Yeah, she doesn’t face “narrative” consquences, but I think the fact that she lobotomises herself to preserve Gideon’s soul shows that she knows she owes Gideon a lot.

Also! I’m very curious how Harrow being Alecto’s favourite is going to turn out in AtN. Because John was also Alecto’s favourite, and her love ultimately corrupted him. I’m not sure if being loved by a wrathful deity is necessarily a good thing. And John IMO was genuinely very fond of Harrow, but a lot of that was because she offered him the unconditional admiration and worship that he craves (and didn’t stop him from manipulating her though arguably that’s how John shows affection) (Also. I have a theory that John wouldn’t have liked no-lobotomy Harrow nearly as much).

Not to throw gasoline on the debate fire, but actually some of what you said re: the narrrative idealising Harrow is how I felt about many of the characters in Nona! Cam+Pal and to a lesser extent Pyrrha, who were framed through a very loving POV and were shown to be well-intentioned and loving and as Good as TLT characters get, which is why I’m dearly hoping for that pedestral to shatter in AtN :3

Could you make quirks that’s a balanced version of Sebatian Shaw’s mutation from X-men First Class?

Maybe? The issue with Shaw's power is how broad it is. Not only can he absorb any kind of energy he wants, but he cam both redirect it in brand new ways and physically augment himself with it. Compare this to something like "Impact Recoil", a really strong Quirk, which only works with kinetic energy and can only redirect it back from the user. However, I do think there are ways to translate his power. You just to limit it to one kind of energy and one kind of application of that energy. Ignoring any of the "Shock Absorption" or "Impact Recoil" Quirk Marriages I've made, which could fit this, there are other ways to go about this. For example, you could have something that relies on thermal energy or a kind of radiation, such as ultraviolet radiation to get power form sunlight. You can then have this energy enhance the user physical, grant them the power to fire out beams with some affects form the energy, or just enhance their health.

Old projects I've lost interest in:

I only really have two big projects, Crittertongue and Dinosaur Sheriff. I've been writing DS since 2008 and there are only 3 complete issues but my enthusiasm for it is still going strong. Crittertongue has just been more sustainable since they're shorter, and the narrative structure allows me to do more with it amidst my work and parenting duties.

If anything, I lose interest in themes. I grew up watching a lot of action movies and shows, reading stories with a lot of combat, explosions, gnarly kills, bizarre anime weapons, honorable or hyperbolic violence. While I still like dope fight scenes, action, giant monster fights (💚) in my media, I've lost interest in using it as a major fixture of my own work. There are more interesting forms of conflict than the kinds a character can address with a sword, and the guns in my life are quiet more often than not. A gun has more narrative weight for me as a threat, as a desperate thing. They lose their teeth when they become punctuation. So while my work does feature the odd scrap here or shots fired there, I try to keep it tailored more to the purpose it serves rather than engaging in it for spectacle.

Growing up as a boy, there was kind of an ever-present background of casual violence that really stressed me out. Like I was fucking up by not fighting more, but when I did get physical, I was overreacting. Fetishizing the capacity for violence feels gross to me. Anyway, that's about as close to an answer as I have there.

Motifs:

I try to keep my environments simple even when they're large and rambling, but I am mad for surface texture, patina, weathering, "beausage." I love when an artist can make something look hard or sticky, fuzzy or beaten up with linework. Environments where nothing looks new are like candy for me. Cam Kennedy drew a number of Boba Fett comics that I read to pieces in middle school and his line work created such beautiful texture, amazing eye-feel (gross), and visual interest that really tied characters into their environments. Learning how to balance out that kind of thing feels therapeutic for me. I hate the greebled massing of shapes and textures to make things look more dramatic or technical or interesting. It's very noisy. I really prefer more functional, practical shapes, and keeping things repeatable without turning my brain to soup or my wrist to dust.

I apply this most often to characters' clothes. Designs where a character is always covered in elaborately layered straps, belts, sashes, gear, armor... stuff give me a hot brain. Do they sleep in it? Where do they put it? Do they pile 3 satchels, a cape, a sword belt, two pistols, and a rucksack in the corner when they have to poop? Their pants are duct-taped at the ankles, do they re-do it every morning or just live in the pants? Is that an answer? Yes. Answered. I'm great at this.

A piece I think is underrated:

Dinosaur Sheriff is definitely under-utilized in my portfolio and the first art was done while I was a young, sleep-deprived college kid, but I'd still love more folks to get to read it. I think it's gotten better with every issue but havent had the resources to complete, print or distribute it. 😑Ffff... I'm working on it.

I love any combination of these losers. Anyway Mike and Cam had one of the cutest friendships on the show. One thing I noticed about them and love is how casually intimate they are. Like, Mike openly hugs and carries Cam, and I dunno, it's kinda rare to see. Love that for them.

Okay. hear me out. hear me out. Just hear me out. I think they had more interesting potential than Duncney. To me, personally, Duncan is way way way more interesting when he's playing off someone worse than him, rather than when he's paired with someone more moral. Seeing him with characters like Alejandro or Mal will always interest me more that characters like Courtney or Zoey. But I digress, what I'm trying to say is that obviously he and Heather fit into the former category which makes them more interesting to me. The issue is that in most ways, Aleheather is just kinda, better. But Duncan and Heather have one thing Alejandro and Heather will never have: Duncan cheating with Heather would've made way more sense and been a way better storyline than he and Gwen. Also would've given Heather something to fuckin' DO in Action. Once again, Action drops the ball, and no one is surprised.

They were constantly looking for light in other people to balance the darkness. Their relationship itself and the parallels between them as individuals is what makes us still talk about them. Not because we think they are meant to be. Harry and Taylor fandom has the biggest crossover of fans because there is an undeniable/unintentional mirroring that fans are unintentionally drawn to. I lost the count regarding the number of people who compared HsH and 1989 era and overexposure(though T had it worse because of misogyny). There is an unintentional parallelism in their music even when the songs have nothing to do with each other. They are the BIGGEST male and female pop artist RN and through their music we know they struggle with similar issues (listening to AIW and Dear Reader back to back is one hell of an experience. ) Which is why they need partners who can give them stability and comfort. yes, they need that groundedness and quiet and comfort to balance everything else out. the person who only wants sweet nothing. without all of the exes, fights, and flaws, we wouldn't be standing here so tall. all of the dead end streets led you straight to me, out of all the wrong arms right into that dive bar...and i think that makes so much sense, that you need someone constant and who gives you a sense of peace and freedom and completion to be your whole self, and who loves you in the best and the worst of it. the person who loves you for you, in the noise and the silence.

She gestured for Tess to come inside, and Tess did. "Wow, nice place." Tess said, looking around. It was more spacious than her house but still felt cozy. "Thanks." Iseul grinned and she led Tess over to the living room. She sat down on the couch and Tess sat next to her. "I have a small apartment in Copperdale, but usually I end up crashing at Min Jun and Paenji's place when I come back from travelling." Iseul added. Tess nodded. There was an awkward silence, and then Iseul said. "I'm sorry that the last time you, me, and Megs hung out I kept making moon eyes at her. I know she's with you, and I’d never ever come between you guys. Its just...seeing her again brought up all these memories." Tess nodded. "It's okay, I know you guys used to date in college, and those feelings are so conflicting. Plus, when I met you I could see why Megs liked you." She admitted. Iseul grinned. Tess brought up a recent Foxbury vs Britechester soccer game, and Iseul shook her head as Tess described how good the Ubrite Dragons did. "Do you play any sports?" Tess asked. "No." Iseul grinned. "I like watching sports but I'm not so great at playing." Tess nodded. "I love both.” She said. “I played for the Darby Dragons in college and it was intense to balance with my studies but so much fun.” Iseul grinned. “You were playing sports, and I was partying in my college days.” Tess waved her off. “It’s all good. Personally I was a bit more studious and focused on sports and classes, spending time with my friends and cousin Luna, and my then boyfriend Julian. The other stuff was good, dating him was not. He wanted to get married at age 20 after we graduated, and have kids right away, even though I'd told him I didn't want any of that.” Tess said.

Iseul grimaced sympathetically. “I get it. I dated one girl in my 20s who liked me when we kissed, and woohooed, and she’d ride with me on my motorcycle.” Tess’s eyes widened. “Sorry to interrupt, but you have a motorcycle? she is like me frfr in that recovery is a Long road for her . she's struggled for a long time, and so recovery is kind of a lifelong process rather than something she can simply Finish and be okay

her ocd has contributed a lot to her ed, and so ed recovery goes hand in hand with ocd recovery. with this, her anxiety starts to go down a Lot !

she has . a lot of guilt pertaining to her ed . guilt over having it, guilt over getting better, guilt over literally Everything . this is something she is Working On in therapy but boy is it a big hurdle

she . really never learned how to cook much , and so something that is helping her associate food with Good Times is learning how ! arastoo is teaching her a lot- these are her favourite nights, being in the kitchen with him and learning how to make something new. he shares his cultural dishes with her and she is so excited about this <3 (she is still not a very good cook because that is just how cam Is . takeout girlie for life .)

brennan :

in recovery from arfid ! as well as orthorexic tendencies

her arfid is specifically related to both sensory issues (hello fellow autistic arfid havers) and trauma (foster care = unreliable access to food)

trying new things is really hard for her- she has a very strict list of foods she eats and has very rarely strayed from that over the years. it takes a few tries before actually being able to eat something new- she needs to be able to look at it, feel the texture, experience the smell and other sensations that come along with it .

her arfid did go generally unnoticed because her safe foods would be considered "atypical"- she doesn't eat highly processed or packaged foods, and almost all of her safe foods are considered "health foods" (thank you orthorexia) .

booth tries new things with her- when she challenges a fear food, he'll try one of her "healthy" foods that he usually wouldn't be a fan of . it helps her to recognize that balance is both possible and healthy , and they are both finding new things they enjoy ! she learned that she rlly enjoys popcorn and sour candy , and he is surprisingly into quinoa now

hodgins :

recovering from ednos / osfed !

his ed was very heavily based in his gender dysphoria , so being able to transition has helped a LOT . a big part of why he recovered was so he could get top surgery without it posing a risk to his health

[SEASON 3 AND SEASON 11 SPOILERS HERE] trauma also plays a big part- he really, really struggled after zack was sent away, as well as after his accident . it's a coping mechanism for him- so in times of stress, he's prone to turn back and relapse

his relationships with others help- his love for angela, his love for his kids, his love for his friends at work- they all keep him grounded and give him something to live for. he wants to be around as long as possible to spend more time with them <3

angela is literally the most patient EVER and it makes him feel so loved and supported (tbh . i have angela headcanons too but my brain is telling me that's Too Many . let me know if u wanna hear those too .)

No, you're fine. It really did happen so early in the first quarter, like halfway through - five minutes maybe? Watching it live, it looked like it was a freak thing that absolutely sucked. She kind of slid for a moment and went down, the whole team on the floor surrounded her and then she limped off the court, then got carried out of the arena. I watched one highlight and it just confirmed what I'd seen - Breezy is in a normal guarding position, bodying Cam as one should on defense, when Cam plants and slips. I think it may have looked worse because Breezy subsequently tripped over Cam when she was trying to regain her own balance and also when down, which is why the crowd was unhappy with the foul call. Like I said in a previous post, I think there was some issue with either the court or maybe the pad where players wipe their shoes, as several players seemed to have issues with traction.

I don't like seeing athletes get hurt, whether or not they're on my team - and Cam was definitely in pain. I saw Tiffany Hayes go down after getting hit in the head incidentally during the playoffs last season and it was awful. It's hard to watch even on TV - I'm a football fan and I can just look back to Maren Mjelde's ACL tear in the Conti Cup (the sounds of her screams are haunting) or Pernille Harder literally dragging her leg off the pitch v. Switzerland after her hamstring tear. Awful as it sounds, I would much rather hear about it after the fact - like Sam Kerr's training ACL injury - because I don't want to see anyone at their most vulnerable. I'm a nurse and I see enough of that at work. Sports are an escape and it's rough to see people hurting for what is essentially my entertainment.

I know some people are mad when athletes get hurt outside of games because "it doesn't matter", but I'm not watching them at that point and I don't want to see anyone getting injured, either. Professional athletes get hurt (which is terrible) as a matter of course, because they put so much strain on their bodies to give their best performance. I was looking forward to watching Cam play and it stinks that she was hurt only halfway through the first, but I wish her only the best and hope she's back as soon as is healthy for her. I'd want that for any player in any sport.

I just gave up and went to bed last night because I was and am so frustrated with my lack of understanding of this material. I had one moment of insight. Oh, I forgot to say what the issue is: can’t get past the wording of matrices to the visualization of them, and I’m just starting to get it. It’s in the scaling, which means a 2 by 2 calculates at the various levels or scales which represent that particular matrix, with those particular values which indicate how x and y relate in 2 dimensions, where we can replace that word ‘relate’ with whatever function generates along that row, which thus combine to give a series of meanings, as with a determinant being positive, though I’m not sure what comes next.

The determinant takes all the function, all the constructive gs process, which links crossways. Like the image of us or any relationship which projects. And of course I finally connect to permutations there, with alternation and Leibniz. I don’t know why I couldn’t grasp that other than to say now it all makes sense. I can see eigenvalues and vectors because this is a constructed gsSpace and thus has xyzK. Note to self: remember the K notation indicates gs, while xyz indicates regular squares or rs. Just realized that puts my dad in the name.

The insight to this was simpler. I'm the Cam loves Nona anon and I realized why I seem to disagree with you while actually agreeing you! It's the language barrier!! I was like "what even is unconditional love" and coming back with definitions from my university days (to love a child with complete acceptance, not because the child brings success basically) and I was like??? Nona is a hard person to love "with conditions" because she is a young adult with huge development problems. And we don't use the term unconditional love anywhere else in my language so I was like???? You think Cam is getting an ego boost from this or something? Like, again not to be totally cynical and horrible, but caring for people with developmental issues is not for everyone. And Cam is going above and beyond and never pushes Nona. Just because they didn't go and hide on a metaphorical farm like Pyrrha suggested doesn't mean that she would sacrifice Nona's integrity and well-being for her House. On the contrary, I think that Cam would be the first to say that only by respecting Nona and being gentle with her you can actually get something from her.

I still don't totally get what you mean by "Cam didn't love Nona immediately" because of course not, she thought it was Harrow at first. They probably thought that it was Harrow untill the very end, with Palamedes theorizing that it's a secret third thing. But yeah, of course there are other priorities in Cam's life, including her people. Doesn't diminish Cam's love and care for Harrow and Nona.

I agree that Pyrrha and Camilla (and Palamedes also, but he was around less) did they best they could balancing Nona's development, their safety, and her autonomy, especially in that mess of a situation. And I agree that her having other responsibilities doesn't make her caring for Nona any less genuine.

By "Cam didn't love Nona right away" I mean that — they got her body back and thought it was Gideon or Harrow and took care of her, but I think it was out of compassion and duty and affection and also a "wow this is a Lyctor's body we got here;" but the familiar love that they share came later. IMO that doesn't diminish what they did for her, and it doesn't make their bond by the end next true.

On the school, I'm going to @chekhovs-tantrum and link their post. I agree that it's cheesy, but I thought it was a welcome kind of cheese in the middle of a very bleak situation. Reading the book I remembered wondering A Lot, like, where they got the money for lunch and how they could stay safe, but I've chosen to decide that even the local militia knew better than to interfere with Joli's school :D

I tried to journal Sunday and Monday, but my head wasn't in it. Then of course yesterday the emotional roller coaster I was on was crazy.

I am still struggling with balance. Now to add to the mix, everything I eat makes me feel gross and I am having issues with my stomach and I can't poop at work.

Braeden and I still need to find a gym near him. I've been looking and messaging and we have checked quite a few out. Something about small independent gyms just makes me feel so much better.

We checked out a few Crunch's and we looked at a new Fit4Less than the one he usually goes to.

Hamilton delivered a lot of emotions yesterday. At the gym, I don't know how the guy got in but he was going through lockers and was stealing food. At least I think and I feel like an asshole for not going to the front desk and saying anything, but I also didn't want to speculate to anyone else. We made a quick stop at Winners on the way home and some Homeless lady was being talked to by the store manager. I feel bad for all parties involved in these situations. The economy is shit, people are doing what they have to, to stay warm and try to live, but that doesn't make stealing right.

On another note, works still meh. I hate the double standard. Although the guy in charge if packaging said he wants me to take over the directing for the packaging. Which is exactly what I wanted so I cam excited about that. I need to deliver though, be open minded and produce something everyone loves.
