One) Oksana Ivanova, born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. She has an identical twin named Katya Ivanova. Despite their incredibly, possibly unsettlingly identical appearance, they could not be any more different from each other in terms of their personality.

Two) Oksana’s personality is far more unsettling in terms of her  perceived cold, calculating demeanour. She is known for her ruthless efficiency and an almost eerie calmness under pressure. Her eyes, often described as icy blue, seem to pierce through anyone who dares to challenge her. Oksana is a master strategist, always thinking several steps ahead, and she has a reputation for being utterly relentless in achieving her goals. However, this is brought on because she is the older twin by five minutes, and she felt entirely responsible for her siblings after their home life fell apart.

In contrast, Katya is a warm, compassionate individual and approachable, with a natural ability to connect with people. She is empathetic and often serves as the moral compass for those around her. Katya’s kindness and compassion make her a beloved figure among her peers, and she is often the one to mediate conflicts and offer support.

Three) This sense of responsibility has shaped Oksana into the formidable figure she is today. Her upbringing in a turbulent household forced her to develop a tough exterior and a sharp mind, traits that have served her well in her military career. Oksana’s dedication to her mission and her team is unwavering, and she often puts the needs of others before her own, even if it means making difficult decisions.

Four) Katya, on the other hand, took on the role of the nurturer in their fractured family. She became the emotional anchor for her siblings, always offering a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear. Six) Oksana with her ten years of Spetsnaz as a sniper and dealing with anti-material sniper rifles, training in Russian martial arts of Systema and Sambo, training in close-quarters combat and her extensive experience in high-stakes operations. A force of nature, stewed within a familial background that would have suggested the opposite about her nature.

Oksana's ability to remain calm under pressure and make split-second decisions is unparalleled, unsettling and terrifying to her enemies. A master of disguise, able to blend and adapt to different environments seamlessly. Her observation skills make her an expert information gatherer. Oksana's ruthlessness is often mistaken for cruelty, but it's actually a cold, calculated strategy designed to achieve maximum efficiency.

Seven) Katya, while not as combat focused as her sister, has her own set of impressive skills. She has trained in various forms of self-defence and is proficient in close-quarters combat. Katya’s true strength, however, lies in her ability to read people and situations. Her background in psychology and negotiation has made her an expert in conflict resolution and intelligence gathering. Katya’s empathetic nature allows her to build trust quickly, making her an effective interrogator and diplomat.

Eight) Together, Oksana and Katya form a dynamic duo that is both feared and respected by their allies and enemies alike. Their complementary skill sets and deep bond enable them to tackle missions that others would deem impossible. Whether it’s a high-stakes infiltration or a delicate negotiation, the Ivanova twins are always up to the challenge, relying on their unique strengths and unbreakable connection to see them through.

Things both twins have in common

(One) Both twins are the height of six feet and six inches tall, towering over most men and women like giants.

(Two) They both have the same striking eye colour, Icy Blue with a dark charcoal lining the edges of the iris.

(Three) Both sisters are incredibly fit and athletic, with lean muscle mass and defined features. Their years of rigorous training have sculpted their bodies into peak physical condition.

(Four) They share striking Slavic features, with high cheekbones, strong jawlines, and full lips. Their fair skin often carries a slight rosy tint, even in colder climates.

(Five) Their hair is naturally the darkest shade of black, often described as raven-black. Thick, lustrous and curly, cascading past their shoulders in a mass of curls which make a contrast in tone against their pale complexion. Often kept in tight braids or buns during missions for practicality. When they are down, they frame their faces dramatically, adding an air of mystery and allure.

(Six) Oksana's eyes often hold a colder, more calculated glint, like a feral feline trapped in a perpetual corner due to trauma and years of survival. Oksana's Physical Appearance Headcanons

These headcanons are going to outline parts that make her look different from her twin, Katya. I will have Katya's version in part three.

(One) Unlike her twin, she has scars on her back from her father and later on, their stepfather from being whipped. It would have been her younger sister, had she not stepped in time and time again to take the blame for the things she supposedly had done wrong, in accordance with either one of them. She didn’t trust either one of them. Ever. She never spoke about how much it hurt whenever it happened. As she didn’t want to give either one of them the satisfaction of seeing her break for either one of them.

(Two) Scars on her left leg from having her shin mauled by a dog when she was seven years old. Giving her an intense phobia of dogs afterwards. Something she never quite got over, even with therapy. Pictures of dogs and the word dog doesn’t scare her as much as it once did before. They do unsettle her to various degrees depending on her mood.

(Three) Each tattoo on her left arm has a special significance to her. Cthulhu, the cosmic entity, represents the unknown and the mysteries of the universe, symbolising her fascination with the enigmatic and unexplored.

Nyarlathotep, the crawling chaos, represents her ability to adapt and manoeuvre through unpredictable situations with ease.

Azathoth, the blind idiot god, represents the chaos and unpredictability of war and serves as a reminder of the ever-changing nature of combat.

Ammutseba, Devourer of Stars, represents her understanding of the destructive power of war and the need to face the consequences of her actions.

Xirdneth, Maker of Illusions, Lord of Unreality, represents her ability to deceive and outsmart her enemies through cunning tactics and strategies

(Four) On her right arm she has more lovecraftian cosmic horror entities tattooed into her skin.

Yog-Sothoth, the Gate of All Ways. Representing her ability to navigate through different environments and adapt to any situation. This tattoo symbolizes her versatility and resourcefulness as a soldier.

Shub-Niggurath, the Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young. Symbolising her protective instincts and her fierce loyalty to her team. This tattoo represents her nurturing side, which is often hidden beneath her tough exterior.

(Five) She has a tattoo of an octopus on her lower back, symbolising her ability to handle multiple situations at once and her adeptness at adapting to new environments. It’s something she’s had since before her military career and is a part of her that she’s always been proud of.

(Six) Prefers to wear black turtlenecks through winter, summer, autumn and spring. The entire year because she would prefer the safety of covering up the scars on her body than to deal with people's prying questions. Her outfits are mostly utilitarian and comfortable. She has a penchant for combat boots and cargo pants.

Katya's Physical Appearance Headcanons

(One) Unlike Oksana, Katya’s back is free from scars. Katya never understood why she needed to take the blame for what she had done. Until she realised the extent of their biological father's and stepfather's cruelty. Naively believing her mother's excuses.

(Two) Unlike Oksana's penchant for black, Katya prefers a more vibrant colour palette. Her wardrobe is a mix of earthy tones and bold hues. She loves the way colours make her feel alive and energetic.

Her Favourite colour is emerald, green, which complements her icy blue eyes beautifully. While Oksana would not wear them. She often buys Katya vibrant accessories like sunflower pendant necklaces and the like.

Katya liked Oksana's preference for black, finding it mysterious and alluring. She often borrowed her sister's clothes, mixing them with her own vibrant pieces to create a unique style.

(Three) Unlike Oksana, Katya has no tattoos. She prefers the natural canvas of her skin, finding beauty in its simplicity. However, she's always admired Oksana's ink, finding them a form of powerful expression. She also liked the temporary tattoos Oksana does for her.

(Four) Katya's hands, while still strong and capable, are softer than Oksana's due to her slightly less intense training regimen. She has a talent for playing the piano, and her hands often bear the soft callouses of a musician. Despite her job as an Intelligence officer.

(Five) Despite her softer exterior, Katya is a skilled combatant in her own right. Her training is just as rigorous as Oksana's, and she possesses a deadly accuracy with firearms. However, she prefers to use her intelligence and charisma to defuse situations before resorting to violence. Something Oksana loved about her twin.

(Six) While both twins are incredibly fit, Katya has a slightly softer build than Oksana. She's still strong and capable, but her body is more proportionate and feminine. She enjoys activities like dancing and yoga, which contribute to her graceful and fluid movements.

However, she hates when she hears her twin getting taunted because she looked less feminine, it makes her blood boil because technically if they had the same job they'd have the same job they'd have the same build. She hated it when people would judge someone based on appearance alone. She would often get into arguments with people who would say such things.

Oksana did the same for her, which Katya appreciates in return, and Oksana normally takes her out to eat afterwards. To spoil her.
