So tonight I started watching California Dreams since we all know JC's voice actor worked there. He appears in the second season, but that doesn't matter anymore - I am already in love with the plot, and I have a favorite character.

We need more charm idiots like Uncle Sly! He is cracking me up!

like I posted earlier @puck1919 tagged me to post my 10 most recent opening lines to see if there was a pattern.... instead I skimmed through my many MANY pieces to pick out 10 that I enjoy... I'm not linking the fics because some of them are bad (or in the case of two of them are unfinished...though one of those I'll maybe pick up on again)

1) Sly Winkle Hated Maroon 5 {Chasing Dreams a Glee/California Dreams x-over unfinished}

2) There were just so many times that Rachel Berry could take rejection and she feared she was reaching her limit. {The Man You'll Marry a Glee AU which is one of if not my most reviewed fics}

3) He wished that having aspirin in his locker wasn't contraband. {Something a piece in a Glee oneshot collective called 'A Gleeful Collective'}

4) "Public School, Public School!" Moving to a new town halfway though Junior Year was one thing but to actually be forced to go to a Public High School seemed like a fate worse then death to her. {Find Yourself a Glee/General Hospital crossover which was a years long labor of love and world building and I'm always open to fielding questions about it... lots of fun crossover ships}

5) Dear Gyro, If you're reading this letter then something terribly went wrong and the Spear either blew up or was lost in space. {A Rewritten Family History a Ducktales fic... aka Identical Cousins AU... this is another years long world building labor of love which my inbox is forever open to talking about this was the second unfinished fic}

6) And your Prom King and Queen are Noah Puckerman and Tina Cohen Chang {Night 2 Remember a Glee fic}

7) They say you can't choose your family however that isn't entirely true as my family picked me. {Family Portrait a Glee/Gossip Girl crossover and another one with some interesting connections}

8) He thought he was cursed to be alone, that every woman that came in contact with him was doomed.{Second Chance a General Hospital fic}

9)In the land of cyberspace Damian Spinelli was a rockstar {A General Hospital one shot from my collective 'In Black and White'}

10) She was the self proclaimed voice of the school {Fire and Ice a Radio Free Rosco fic... I think maybe my oldest 'hook' to make this cut}

Whoever organized the episode guide and wrote the blurbs for California Dreams on google is smoking some good crack.

California Dreamin' is a song by the Mamas & the Papas. The California Dreams theme is called just that: California Dreams Theme. (So says my CD back cover, at least.)

I know it's an older, less remembered show, but could whoever compiled that info have taken the slightest initiative to get their facts straight?
