thank you, from the bottom of my heart to weevildoing and the entire tptm fandom for this journey. As of writing this, tomorrow the last girl will come out.
Tptm has become one of my favorite albums by far, and every song and character is as fun as relatable and beautiful in so many ways.
It's a bit odd to think that we will no longer have any new album songs to expect; we have been doing so for long (or at least in my case) that it will be strange to just... have it complete.
Again, thank you so much. I love xiomara's design :D

Post Traumatic Manifesto ??? Spoilers:
Jordyn (Disposable Girl)’s video shows her walking around in a parking lot, and the recent lore drop confirms it was brought to Ehawee Hospital after a suicide attempt where she jumped in front of a car.
Kairi (Irreverent Girl) was found by one’s mother after her own failed suicide attempt, implying co rejoined the cult.
Tahira (Splitter Girl) also was brought in after a failed suicide attempt, this one being from attempting to shoot herself with her cousin’s gun, missing because her hands were shaking so much. It’s important to me and me only that she didn’t own the gun herself.
Freyja (Fainéant girl) is the first one who wasn’t hospitalized due to a suicide attempt. Admittingly her’s doesn’t have an implication I obsess over but that’s fine
Nora (Caliber Girl) was hospitalized because of a vehicular accident caused by stress, and her video shows her driving a car.
Morgan (Chocolate Box Girl) doesn’t have a messed up implication I obsess over but instead a hopeful one. It’s the first one hospitalized because of a concerned friend and her medical notes imply he was eager to talk about her issues, so, I’m not a medical health professional so take this with a grain of salt, it might be the closest one to recovery.
Mayra (Taxidermy Girl) was hospitalized because of a failed suicide attempt where she drank a chemical cocktail, and it left them blind. He wears a blindfold in her video.
Joy (Chemical Girl) was hospitalized after punching a wall, and the lyrics of her song contain a reference to her punching a wall. This one isn’t really concerning but it jumped out to me so
Nataana (Refraction girl) was hospitalized after drinking too much prescription medication, but interestingly, this event is not described as a suicide attempt.
Anyways I hope you enjoyed this complied list of mostly concerning implications in the recent update, just wanted to get them all together, holy fuck I hope all of these girls are doing ok,

I’m on my first full watch of Justified and loved seasons 1 through 4, enough that it’s already in my top shows ever. Now, season 5 is… well, let’s just say I’m finding it a bit weaker than previous seasons to put it nicely. So I figured I’d try to compile some bright spots as I go to help me (and anyone else who might like/need them) reach season 6:
- Raylan’s still handsome as anything (as Rachel said in the first season, it definitely helps him get away with things). Sigh, I like to watch him walk. Also, his accent is a little heavier in this season (in my opinion), which I think is a great acting touch. Side note: Raylan remains a disaster but I love him anyway.
- The comedy duo of Boyd and Wynn
- Loretta McCready, I adore you.
- Wynn’s interrogation with the BB gun
- Raylan and Boyd being Raylan and Boyd in episode 4. “Raylan Givens, are you flattering me?” They dug coal together okay, their flirting and intricate courtship rituals are incomprehensible to anyone but them. Though I love how all the characters are like you're not fooling anyone. The way they leaned back against the bar and looked at each other — Boyd try not to look so fond of the lawman who keeps interrupting your criminal activities.
- Tim Gutterson and Rachel Brooks
- Tim and Boyd playing Scrabble. I loved the little glimpse of this and wish the scene had been longer. Like what word did Boyd play that he asked if Tim wanted to challenge? Who was winning? Inquiring minds want to know.
#I just finished episode 4 so hopefully more to come#I was focusing a lot on the negatives so this was my way of trying to focus on the positives instead#I think the weaknesses are more noticeable because the caliber of the prior seasons was so high#Erika rambles#justified#justified fx#raylan givens#boyd crowder#wynn duffy#Tim gutterson#Rachel brooks#long post

Watched the first three episodes of The Edge of Sleep tonight!!
So far so good, as far as adaptations go. The show itself is amazing so far! More mixed feelings with respect to it being an adaptation, though. So far it's remaining faithful to the overarching plot, though it has cut some scenes I enjoyed, and I am getting worried they'll cut the moobles thing, since they already said the high school incident was something different, that he was already with Katie when it happened, and there's that recurring flashback replacing the specific part about the scar. Now that i think about it yeah they absolutely cut that didn't they. It was referenced already but only one shot. (Again, i only finished episode 3)
Honestly kinda disappointed they cut the serial killer guy entirely. Like i hated him but that whole sequence was INTERESTING.
Funnily enough, one of my roommates i was watching it with had pulled an all nighter and said he was going to bed after this episode during episode three, and when the credits started i paused and realized he had fallen asleep. I said aloud "did [name] fall asleep?" to the other person i was watching with and he didn't react until i started laughing kinda loudly, bolted upright, and when the other person asked if he fell asleep he said "No. [Pause] i might have fallen asleep. Did i really fall asleep?" Then when i asked what the last thing he remembered happening was (so i knew how far to backtrack tomorrow) he said "uh... bedtime now goodnight" lmfao
Anyway, i would like to clarify IT IS A GOOD SHOW!!! It's because it's a good show that I'm not talking about it being a good show, because its merits as its own show, especially only being halfway through it, are less interesting to ramble about than my thoughts about the differences to the podcast and obviously i'm biased towards the original podcast. Oh I did like the bit where they went to the radio station though! That was cool!

you should make a spamton rant. rip him apart and tell the world every intimate reason he is a disreputable and immoral individual who got exactly what he deserved. we need more spamton hate in this community. people obviously dont understand just how bad he can be
Seeing as the blog that sent this is empty, and the phrasing of this ask is downright comical, I'm willing to bet this is rage bait.
If not, I'm genuinely sorry you think like this, random person, because my dislike of Spamton is, you guessed it, subjective! Just like every opinion about a fictional character, it's entirely up to the reader to form their own thoughts and decide if they like them or not, if they'd put up with their actions or not, and if the context we're provided makes their actions justified or unforgivable to you. Opinions are flexible and valid, and even change over time!
Now excuse me as I write an essay in response to this general concept because you HAVE baited me, just not in the way you wanted.
I'd like to take a moment to comment on the absolute state of discussing "character good/character bad" in fandoms, especially nowadays. Because of the increased politicization of fandom culture, it almost feels like people treat fandom discourse as inherently political and just as serious. And, while I'd love to talk about the rampant misogyny in fandom or how homophobia still permeates even in progressive spaces, I'm specifically referring to the moralization of media engagement.
The "you can't watch this" or "you have to watch this", the people in the old undertale fandom who'd tell you you're a bad person if you decided to play through the no mercy route, the people in current deltarune fandom talking about how Kris' race ambiguity makes Toby Fox racist, and, in this case, someone trying to bait ME into moralizing my opinion of Spamton for the sake of a "gotcha" or fodder for their hatred of me. Sorry to disappoint, I don't think Spamton is reprehensible in our, practical, human terms.
He's just some fictional guy who did shitty stuff to a bunch of kids and kind of got his comeuppance in the end. That exact description applies to him, Spade King, and undertale Asgore even though they're entirely different characters. And, also, I fucking ADORE Spade and Asgore, but my subjective opinion, the Vibe Check if you will, is that Spamton is worse than them. I think we can all agree that In Real Life murder of 6 children is obviously worse than being a con artist. However, this is also fiction, and those deaths shouldn't be treated with the SAME severity as actual, real crimes against humanity should be. They are severe, yes, and breaches of morality, but not REAL morality. Actual children weren't harmed in the making of undertale, believe it or not. These reprehensible actions from the cast are narrative vessels meant to show us the state of mind a character is and how far they're willing to go.
I think Spamton's desperation for reaching his "heaven" is disturbing because he was willing to extort and kill a child for it. In the same vain, I think Asgore is a coward for choosing to go through with his plan when the human that walked into his throne room was a literal child and not someone deserving of the death penalty, which happened 7 separate times. The difference is, I like Asgore and dislike Spamton. Not for moral reasons. Just Vibes.
This ask was 100% spurred on by the video I made about shadow crystals and secret bosses. It's kind of telling of their lack of media literacy, how this (practically) anon took nothing away from that video except "this guy thinks Spamton sucks", because that was decidedly not the point. Even during my rant about him in the video, when I call him a bad person I am simply stating in-universe facts. Things that most people who like Spamton as a character rather than a poor little meow meow can agree DID happen, and DOES make him morally grey. And this is where the politicization of fandom comes in again, because I only felt the need to add that rant into that section because there's SO many people who feel the need to justify liking immoral characters by making them super not bad at all - talking about the grey as if it's white, and if you point out the darker shades, they think you're trying to paint over all of it with black.
The people who over-exaggerate how tragic Spamton's or Spade King's lives were, the ones who justify reprehensible actions through "but he's mentally ill!" (even though a sentiment like that just further stigmatizes mental illness but that's a different topic), the people that say "X character did nothing wrong" without a twinge of irony in their tone.
Spamton is not Satan. He's also not a flawless angel.
The complete loss of being able to view a character as both Bad and Likable at the same time is tragic to me, because 90% of the characters I adore are bad, reckless, stupid, selfish, downright EVIL sometimes, and even if they may be lonely or misunderstood underneath it all, that is NOT something that erases their flaws! The whole POINT of moral grayness and complexity in characters is that we learn to take the good AND the bad in stride. Where do you draw a line in the sand? Does their charisma make them lovable enough to you that you want to keep watching them do The Bad Thing as long as they're having fun with it? Or does their grappling with and regret of The Bad Thing make them so emotionally compelling to you that you want to see where they'll go next, no matter the morality of their future actions?
If you like Spamton, more power to you. If you're in love with the weird funny little puppet man, even better, live your best life. But, for the love of god, engage with him as the character he actually is, without scrubbing away the awkward and the morally dubious for the sake of a cleaner character to play with. I genuinely believe most of the cult surrounding Spamton understands this, most of what I've seen from his most avid fans still paint him as his greedy conniving canon self, it's just that there's a loud minority (and the filthy casuals who don't read any deeper into him and just flatten every character they talk about) who deliberately try to convince you that Spamton is OBJECTIVELY a good person, or OBJECTIVELY someone you have to like, otherwise you're weird and, like, hate mentally ill people or something. I've gotten a Lot of weird comments on that video you guys wouldn't even believe.
All in all I consider that Spadesgore must be canonized.
#deltarune#asks#not art#spamton#we love a fandom so obsessed with morality they try to bait you into it#yall suck cant a man just Not Like Someone without it being a big deal#i have a sneaking suspicion i know Who sent this ask because theres One person in my comments who uses this exact same exaggerated language#coupled with the over-morilization of my. frankly unimportant opinion#for context that person im reffering to is someone who tried to uh. defend spamton in my comments by accusing me of hating homeless people#im not gonna pretend i dont see the similarities between that person and this anon#but if theyre different people i somehow find that even worse ngl#anyway maybe im being an idiot for responding to an ask of This caliber but i dont care this is a fascinating topic to me#and if you come into my house you expect a fucking essay no matter what your question is#does this even count as a dunk????? i dont think it does#rambles

It fascinates me that Seiji and Kyoichiro are friends. Seiji has proven to be extremely driven by justice, bypassing red tape and delivering his own "punishments" to criminals who commit horrific crimes. Kyoichiro, meanwhile, is pointedly amoral, and his whole job is doing whatever the client wants and not getting caught up in what's "right" or "wrong." So the fact that they're able to be friends despite such a huge schism in morality is so interesting. Maybe it's because they're both relentlessly and unabashedly unforgiving toward their enemies, whoever that may prove to be. Despite the difference in worldview, they resonate over a similar mindset: whoever crosses me and my sensibilities deserves what's coming to them.
Makes me wonder about their childhood together—Kyoichiro was always destined to be a spy, but Seiji presumably chose to become a detective at some point. Did they influence each other? When did Seiji learn about Kyoichiro's spy family? Were they friends-friends or just the high school equivalent of drinking buddies?
#im very interested in the scant few people that kyoichiro is close to because he seems to be the kind of person who#instinctively keeps people at a distance#so the ones who DO get close to him are clearly of a very special caliber#also i love that seiji has the same open aversion to kyoichiro as his siblings#“don't get close to me i'll break out in hives” ajskhadjhjkadhajhdjakh#mission yozakura family#kyoichiro yozakura#seiji hotokeyama#brainrot fodder#sage rambles

i saw someone else point out that disposable girl being the first tptm girl is very important - and i think this applies to each of the girls
disposable girl believes herself to be disposable - and her experiences reiterate that in her mind - but she is the ‘base’ which the rest of the girls r built upon. from our end, she is extremely significant to the project
the songs are openly and explicitly ab these girls’ traumas, and every time i see ppl discuss the mewsic, its ab how happy they r to see their feelings represented so accurately. the characters, all feeling insignificant in some way, have so much impact on us and how we process our traumas
isn’t that amazing ?? i wish these girls knew how much they mattered. and i want everyone who relates to these girls to know how much they matter.

How Summer Rose Became The Werewolf MILF We All Didn’t Know We Needed
I drank the werewolf wine again so now you’re all going to hear about the Summer Rose Grimm werewolf agenda —
OKAY. So we have presumably all noticed the show’s Highly Suspicious way of never saying that Summer actually died: it’s always “took,” “left,” “lost,” “gone,” etc. We’re just going to accept it as a fact that she’s alive.
(To be clear, I don’t believe Summer is or has ever been in the Ever After, considering the questionable reality of the Blacksmith’s first appearance/the effects of Ruby’s mental state on her surroundings in the second.)
In the past, I’ve flirted with the theories that Summer is A) stuck in suspended animation at the bottom of a Grimm pool, or B) trapped as a prisoner in Evernight while Salem feeds off the residual magic in her body, but in recent times I’ve come to be backing the horrible bastard child of both theories.
C) Summer was Grimmified after failing to defeat Salem and, her spirit entirely broken, is now working as her right-hand werewolf to help her end the world because she believes putting Remnant out of its misery is her only option.
Stay with me, here we go.
First off — Why did Summer go to Evernight in the first place?
As Qrow told us, nobody but Summer knows why she left on her last mission, which was apparently not one that Ozpin assigned her. And as Salem told us, when she met and defeated Summer, Summer told her some variation of, “We don't have to kill you to stop you. And we will stop you.”
Silver eyes don’t just kill Grimm. They can also freeze them in permanent stasis. What if Summer got it into her head that she could try and stop Salem that way? Hell, maybe she could even vaporize the Grimm pits along with her! Oz doesn’t believe that she can be stopped directly, only held off, so I don’t believe that that’s a plan of action he would have tried.
But Qrow was right about Summer: she takes the information that Oz gave her, and takes it further. Salem must be killing Silver-Eyed Warriors for a reason: the most obvious one must be that her powers are the key to defeating her. And even leaving aside the very good chances that the only other Silver-Eyed Warrior she knows is her toddler daughter...
She’s the leader, isn’t she? The hero. She’s supposed to take care of everything, help everyone. Now that the idea occurred to her, how is she supposed to turn her back on a whole world that needs her?
(Ruby, with the deepest of sighs: “unfortunately, same hat, Mom”)
If she succeeds, the world will be safe, forever. Her daughters will never have to go through what she and her team have, make the kind of choices she has to make now.
So without her boss or her teammates’ knowledge, off Summer goes to Battle Tendency this bitch, hoping against hope that she’s finally found the answer.
Raven, sitting judgmentally in a tree watching her go:
What happened at Evernight?
We can all guess where this went.
Summer at the door of Evernight Castle:
Salem, who was enjoying a nice cup of tea and a book before this human came trying to assassinate her: what the fuck is going on down there
Summer tries to fight her and quickly finds out that she’s in over her head: Salem gives her the bad news that, surprise, she can’t be killed, didn’t Ozpin tell you, girl?
He did not, but Summer keeps trying: she doesn’t need to kill her to stop her, after all.
I have an image of her managing to Silver-Eye the Grimm out of Salem, and Salem diving right back into the pool of Destruction to power herself up again, but I’ve got no evidence to back that up, I just think that’s what would horrify poor Summer the most.
In the struggle, Summer gets thrown into the Grimm pool too, but to her own horror and Salem’s surprise, it doesn’t kill her like it would any other human.
Divine cannot kill the divine, only alter it. Because of the God of Light’s power inside her, the Grimm pool doesn’t kill Summer, but transforms her into a Grimm hybrid. Salem hasn’t been shocked in eons, but she certainly is watching this horror unfold in front of her.
Salem realizing she can do something new with this interesting little anomaly:
Summer: [SCREAMS OF THE ETERNALLY DAMNED]
Grimm Symbolism
First of all, in “The End of the Beginning,” the scene cuts straight from Summer’s grave, which we know damn well is empty, to Evernight:
It’s pretty obvious where Summer went, and where she actually is.
Second of all, it was pointed out to me that not only does the Grimm color scheme match Team RWBY’s (red, white, yellow, and black are the only ones visible on all of the Grimm), but Summer’s as well:
So far as I can tell, Summer and the Grimm are the only characters to incorporate all four colors into their designs. In any other show I would ignore that, but in RWBY, color symbolism is everything, so it deserves at least a mention.
Does she still have her powers?
That’s completely up in the air for me, and no possible option is any better than the others for Grimm!Summer.
Option 1: she still has her Silver Eyes, but can’t actually use their power.
Option 2: she still has her Silver Eyes, and is still able to use her powers, but at the cost of badly hurting herself thanks to her new, vulnerable Grimm body.
Option 3: she doesn’t have her Silver Eyes at all anymore, and forget about the powers: a Grimm can’t use anti-Grimm abilities by its very nature.
I’m also still up in the air as to what her eyes might look like now that she’s transformed. Personally, I’m picturing her with silver eyes with black sclera: a full moon in a pure black night.
On the other hand, if her eyes were turned red like a Grimm’s or Salem’s, that’s a blood moon!
Why do you think any of this in the first place? Why couldn’t she just be a Hound?
Because of the Unspoken Plan Guarantee. Ruby’s already caught on that something is going on:
So it’s all but guaranteed that when we finally meet Summer, it’s going to be a whole lot worse than what Ruby’s already assuming.
Right now, Ruby thinks that the worst possible way she can find her mother is as a mindless Hound. So the show is going to have to bump the stakes of her eventual reveal up considerably in order to keep it a good surprise. If the audience is already clued into the fact that she’s been transformed into a Grimm, the twist will be that unlike the Hound, she’s kept her mind and is working for Salem willingly.
(Incidentally, this is also the reason why not just anyone other than Oz can destroy Salem: because Nora brought that exact possibility up in “A Night Off”):
...Okay, but why a fucking werewolf?
I’m glad you asked! Not only do werewolves absolutely fuck but there is a boatload of symbolism backing up the idea.
Wolf Symbolism
Among all the corvids and dragons running around in this family, it’s easy to overlook the general wolfiness surrounding Summer and Ruby both, from several different directions.
Little Red Riding Hood
It’s been obvious from volume 1 that one of Ruby’s allusions is Little Red Riding Hood. So isn’t it suspicious that, in volume 9, we’ve seen neither hide nor hair of her Big Bad Wolf?
Clearly, none of the villains we’ve seen so far fit, not even the Hound, who didn’t have the autonomy and was finished off too quickly to be on the wolf’s level. Especially if she ascends to become the Woodsman of her own story as well, it’s long past time for that story’s villain to show up. Summer tried to become the Woodsman herself, taking her axe and slaying the villain so Red Riding Hood could live in peace, but was consumed by and became the Wolf instead.
(And since we do have one character who fits pretty well into the role of Red’s grandmother, who is also eaten by the Wolf...sorry, Maria, I think if you meet Summer you’re going the way of Obi-Wan.)
Odin’s Wolves
Qrow and Raven allude to Huginn and Muninn, the two ravens that Odin uses to gather knowledge from around the world, just as Ozpin gave the Branwens shapeshifting magic so they could serve as his spies. But there were four students on the team he gave special attention. What might Summer and Tai allude to in relation to Oz?
Well, Odin didn’t just have two ravens, he created two wolves as well: Geri and Freki, both of whose names translate to “greedy,” “voracious,” “gluttonous,” and such. They ran out to consume the corpses left on the battlefield (sometimes guided by Huginn and Muninn) and guide fallen souls to Valhalla, relying on Odin to give them meat rather than hunting for themselves.
Spying is only one part of a successful campaign: once you have the tactical information, you’ve got to make use of it. We’ve heard little if anything of what Summer and Tai were doing for Oz, but it’s pretty reasonable to guess that once Qrow and Raven gathered important intel, it was Summer and Tai who were dispatched to handle the situation.
Even if Summer and Tai weren’t actually given wolf shapeshifting magic, their teamwork with Raven and Qrow could easily still fit the roles of Odin’s birds and wolves.
It tracks with the real-life behavior of ravens and wolves as well:
What Do You Know About Summer Rose, Raven Branwen
Tell Us
She Has The Other Half Of Your Bracers, Raven
In addition, it has also been pointed out that Geri and Freki have more destructive counterparts: Hati and Sköll (”one who hates” and “one who mocks”), who in some versions of Norse mythology chase the moon and sun through the sky so they can eat them during Ragnarok, ending the world. (Some sources have them as the wolf Fenrir’s children, but as far as I can tell it’s not a definite thing.)
And who do we know around here who are directly symbolized by the moon and sun?
Speaking of which...
Ruby’s In On It, Too
To round all this off, according to RTX 2013′s RWBY art panel, Ruby was originally designed to be “kinda wolfy,” with gray hair that flipped up like ears/hackles to look "wild and wolf-like.”
It’s Beowolves that she’s shown fighting in the Red Trailer, and she has Beowolf models overlooking her bed:
And, more recently: what did she dress up as for Halloween (her birthday!) in the official merch?
The question is, what purpose does this imagery serve? Because Ruby’s wolfishness hasn’t been brought up directly in the show, much unlike other characters’ more blatant imagery. If this theory is correct, it’s to connect her to her Big Bad Wolf mom.
Ruby shares a certain other category of imagery with her mother as well...
Moon Symbolism
This is the more obvious symbolism associated with Summer and Ruby, just like Tai and Yang are associated with the sun. Right from the Red Trailer, the two of them have always been associated with the moon, especially the full moon.
The moon is also notably brought up in several song lyrics in ways that could be very relevant as well — “The moon will sadly watch the roses die,” “Rising like the moon,” “Our path was clear / The moon watched safely from above", "Enemies arise and the hate is flowing / Shattering the moon and bloodying the sky,” “When there's no more light / and the moon should crumble” — but I’m not good enough at analyzing songs to go too in depth on that point.
Now, remember the pool of Destruction that Salem jumped into that turned her Grimm in the first place? What was reflected in it again?
[Eggman voice] THE MOOOOOOOOON
I might note here that my character tag for Summer isn’t “dead Moon Mom,” it’s “Dead Moon mom”: we can still swing it so that one of her character allusions is the Dead Moon (or Buried Moon, as it’s called in some versions) of English folklore.
How it goes is basically: the Moon protects travelers through England’s bogs with her light, but when she hears that without it, the people are attacked by evil creatures of the night, she descends to Earth to try and solve the problem, clad in a black hooded cloak. In saving a lost traveler, her light attracts the creatures, who bury her alive in the bog.
The traveler eventually leads the worried people back to the bog to save the Moon, but Summer’s journey to save humanity from the Creatures of Grimm with the light of her Silver Eyes doesn’t go quite as well. She’s still buried in the bog, trapped in the body of a Grimm hybrid.
To sum it all up, combine a wolf with the full moon and what do you get?
WEREWOLF, MOTHERFUCK
So where is Summer now?
In the one place we haven’t gotten a proper look at yet.
“Reinforce our numbers at Beacon. The Relic is there.”
It didn’t seem to me like Salem was talking to a Grimm there. Like with Leo in volume 5, somebody is on the other side of that conversation. Summer just isn’t too inclined to answer verbally: she loathes her master, but has no choice but to stay under her control.
It’s also been pointed out that Team STRQ is the Team RWBY that failed and broke down; specifically, Summer is the Ruby that lost hope and gave up, that was utterly shattered and didn’t go to the therapy dimension about it.
The Hound(s) are an experiment, by Salem’s own description: a weapon not quite as mindless as the average Grimm but not as resentful as Summer. As a wolf, Summer is a step above them, the perfected version that Salem has been trying to recreate ever since accidentally acquiring her.
Summer’s last ditch effort to save the world was so thoroughly crushed, every possible solution she thought to helping the ones she loves most completely lost. With those gone, the only thing she has left to offer her family and the world is the mercy of a quick death. So that’s what she’s going to give them; and to that end, here she is at the end of Salem’s leash, still fighting to end suffering in the only way she believes she can anymore.
She’s not going to be happy at all to find out that her daughters became Huntresses to follow in her footsteps (”but, baby, please don’t do what I did” / “I don’t want you to waste your life in vain” and all that), and Ruby and Yang are going to be even less happy to find out that not only is their mom alive but is now evil and wants to kill them before Salem can do worse to them.
Absolutely nobody is happy at that family reunion except Salem, who’s watching the continued befuckening of her favorite lapdog’s life with wine and popcorn.
How are they going to beat her?
Don’t let that header fool you, I have no actual conclusion to this post. My only solid idea re: how the actual Rose-Xiao Long-Branwen family fight might actually go is that Summer can’t be one-shotted by Ruby’s Silver Eyes like any other Grimm. She can be temporarily hurt by them, but being a Silver-Eyed Warrior herself, they can’t permanently damage, freeze, or kill her.
Cinder, rage quitting: OH COME ON THAT’S NOT FUCKING FAIR

I finished ratbeard's second promotion and I'm going insane about him rn dude spent his whole life focused on the goal of revenge and the effects of that is so fascinating to me like ik vengeance are bad stories can sound preachy but I also think that sometimes letting someone consume your whole life like that is so damaging
i LOVEEEE revenge stories. like its a tragedy either way because you either kill the person responsible for what happened in the first place and feel aimless and lost and empty afterwards or you dont and just feel. conflicted about the whole thing
LIKE ITS SO SATISFYING IN AN UNSATISFYING WAY I THINK... i think because ratbeard is already so rough around the edges that something like murder wouldnt be above him. but then u find out thats not the case at all... +_+
sometimes i forget that pirate101 is very.. well not explicit but it makes it clear that were killing people and that some of ur crew has killed people before 😭 i mean its obvious from the beginning when u get to choose how ur parents die and whatnot but sometimes it just hits me
AND TO SPEND YOUR ENTIRE LIFE ON THAT.... i just think its sweet that he thanks the pirate<33
#val.answers#pitty ramblings#pirate101 spoilers#i GUESS. for his companion quest anyways#anyways . i love revenge stories (the type to hold a grudge for a very long time)#love u pirate i do but each time i attempt to complete it it doesnt stick.... stares out a window#but i love ratbeard.. i love a good 'used to be enemies but now that im kind of a hero now im more like your weird uncle'#or something of that caliber#also forgive me for the ask spam im trying to see what asks i can answer.. orz... apologies for the long wait my friends
