Amarin Cafe!
Pretty cheap and not too sweet Thai tea, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for sure! It was so cute in the milkshake cup, I drank it while watching Kare Kano and seeing the buses drive by... So romantic! ( ◜‿◝ )♡

Cooked up my bio paper! Now it’s time to get my communications paper done with (I’m never taking another cmns class again) and then it’s time for finals flashcards + psych final project. AHHHHH I also have a final project for cmns which is worth so much and for what reason? Also where is my money and why am I broke???? (I’ve been buying expensive coffees every day)

An autumn Sunday in East London: cobble stones and terraces—the air is grey but warm, muggy—the flower market heaving with beautiful people in their shiny shoes, long coats, sweater vests, tiny dogs—calla lilies in hoards—a band and a tap dancer perform outside the pub which is just opening its doors—cyclists lazily skirt round corners past people with no plans, who are hanging around outside the café waiting for a coffee, sharing a cigarette, a bit of quiet conversation, perfect people-watching

My dignity as a human is dubious but my dignity as a beverage blogger is eternal!!!
In reverse chronological order:
- BOS * Pavement's Spanish Latte ⭐⭐⭐
I usually love this one (condensed milk latte!) but the barista this time was kinda soft handed on the condensed milk... Still super smooth and yummy.
- DC * Hana Awaka sparkling sake ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This one is their plain nigorisake flavor, but it's SOOOOOO good. Fragrant and balanced and kind of similar to fancier sparkling sake I've had! I later had the Yuzu flavor from the same line in BOS and it was totally 5-star too.
- DC * YELLOW's peanut dalgona ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and coconut cardamom latte ⭐⭐⭐
This place is SOOOOOO amazing. Their pastries are sooooo good. The dalgona was awesome and totally deserves its #1 spot in popularity here but the coconut cardamom latte was so lackluster surprisingly... Lacked coconut flavor idk. I also tried my mom's Tamarind Tea and that one was really nice too! Very nice balance of sweet and sour~
-BK * Nippon Cha's hojicha latte ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This latte is unknowingly huge. I drank it on the walk of shame back to my apartment post insane breakup and ordered a large bc I was like "aww I'm so sad I will spend $10 on a stupid drink because that's how I live my life" but then it came out and I realized why it was that big. The hojicha flavor is no joke and the soymilk as a free low-fat option was pretty nice. I couldn't finish it in one go at all because of the intense flavor and massive size (like wider than my arm. Insane.) so it gets a little dock

early march '24 🐈⬛️ practising my russian, wasting time at cafes, and frequenting places that are way too cool for me — it feels nice to be able to leave the house without risking frostbite and pneumonia
thank you, spring 🌱 ☕️

My top priority though are the papers for my electives which are due this and next week… those things will fly by and there’s just a month left before summer yipeeee☀️
