This wasn’t supposed to happen. It was supposed to be me. They were aiming at me. Me!

I slam my fists on the wood of the wall outside your hospital room. You were in there fighting for your life because I was too stupid to see you coming until it was too late.

—Bang!

The moment keeps replaying in my mind in slow motion. You jumping in front of me as the silver bullet hurtled toward me. The second the metal pierces your delicate skin of your chest. The spurt of crimson blossoming in stark contrast to the white of your blouse. The way your eyes rolled back in your head as your body slumped to the ground.

Vivid images flash through my mind in a torturous torrent, leaving me trembling.

“Harry—” Liam’s cautious approach seemed to be drowned by a thick curtain of water, so very distant and gentle. It never would have made sense to anyone else. They didn’t understand how gut-wrenchingly guilty this entire situation was making me feel. I was supposed to know he was going to shoot.

I can’t believe I didn’t pay close enough attention. I can’t believe I let myself get distracted. And now you’re paying the price. You were lying there, critically injured because of my incompetence.

I shoot a glare at Liam, trying to keep my rage in check. The startled look in his fuchsia gaze is almost painful to see. I know it’s not his fault, I know that taking my internal hatred out on him will do nothing but make me feel even more guilty later.

I try to keep a lid on my emotions. I’ve prided myself on keeping a level-head in the most heated situations, but now I don’t think I can force myself to hold back anymore. I’m drowning in the sea of pain and rage and sorrow and fear.

Liam moves just a bit closer, hand ruffling his pink hair in apprehension. He can tell. Of course, he can tell. He’s known me better than anyone else in Crown and I know I can’t truly hide anything from him.

“—we should go to another room,” Liam offers gently, holding out a hand to me. “I stole a bottle of whiskey from Roger so let’s go knock back a couple of drinks.”

It was a lie. I didn’t even need to use my ability to know that. There was no way Roger would let his alcohol go without a fight, but even still, I appreciate the sentiment and solemnly follow Liam into the other room.

“You want to talk about it?” Liam asks hesitantly, handing a small glass to me. I take the drink and swirl it around in my hand, but set it down on the table in front of me. I slump down onto the couch, shoulders hunched and head hanging.

“It’s my fault Liam. It’s completely my fault that she got shot and I don’t know how to handle it.”

The admission causes hot tears to prick at my eyes. God, I haven’t cried in so long, it feels so wrong.

“The guy said he wasn’t gonna shoot if I backed down. I wasn’t paying close enough attention. I should have seen that he was lying. That’s my entire job and I failed at that. And now she’s paying for my idiocy.”

“Harry you wouldn’t have been able to stop her, even if you had known he was going to shoot. Knowing her, she’d already made up her mind to protect you, regardless of if you knew he was telling the truth or not.”

Liam’s words cut into me like a red-hot knife. I want to keel over. It’s so much easier blaming myself. It makes so much more sense to blame myself. Surely you weren’t foolish enough to put yourself in danger just because of me.

I wanted to keep telling myself it was a mistake. My mistake. I know it’s not true, but I want it to be. I want it to be true so badly I’d been repeating it to myself like it was a mantra.

“I just need her to be okay…” My voice cracks on the last word and I wince at how weak I sound.

Liam places his hand on my shoulder, a sign of support. He knew me well enough to know that words weren’t going to do much of anything to help ease the painful ache in my heart.

Just a short moment later William entered the room a soft smile on his face. I jumped to my feet as he approached me, anxiety causing every nerve to burn while I awaited his news.

“They were able to remove the bullet. It seems that she was quite lucky. The bullet had managed to lodge in one of her ribs, and this was enough to prevent any vital organs from being hit. She’s going to be extremely sore for a few weeks, but she’ll be okay.”

I felt an overwhelming rush of relief wash over me and the strength seemed to vanish from my legs, sending me to my knees.

I felt so light headed and dizzy, I couldn’t even move.

She’ll be okay.

The words kept cycling through my mind and I didn’t hear Will continuing to talk. Liam crouched down and shook my arm.

“Did you hear him? He said she woke up. She’s asking after you. She wants to see you and know you’re alright,” Liam murmured gently. The obvious love and care glistening in his pink irises warmed me and I was finally able to regain my composure. I nodded, unsure if I would be able to form any coherent words.

Liam bounced up, offering me a hand, and helping me to my feet. Together we made our way down the hall back outside your room. Pushing through the door, I saw you reclined on the bed, a tired smile gracing your features as our eyes met.

Once again the relief I felt knowing you were okay seems to sap the strength from my legs and I shakily stepped over to you, dropping to my knees at the side of the bed. I grab one of your hands in mine and pressed a kiss against it, a tear managing to escape and roll down my cheek.

“Harry. I’m so glad you’re okay,” you smile, voice shallow and raspy.

“Shhh, sweetheart. You shouldn’t be worrying about me. I love you, I’m so incredibly relieved that you’re alright,” My words come out in a choked whisper as another tear falls from my eyes.

I have so many things I want to say. I want to scold you for being so reckless with your life. I want to thank you for saving mine. I want to tell you how lost I felt at the thought of never seeing you again. I wanted to make sure you knew how much I love you.

But my throat was too tight. Too choked with emotion to allow any verbal expression. I pushed myself up, curling onto the bed beside you and pressing the softest of kisses to your hair. Your scent filled my nostrils, calming my racing heart.

You were safe. I closed my eyes and allowed myself to finally relax. As the tension left my body, so too did my energy. I heard a soft huff of a laugh and the comforting touch of your hand filled me with so much warmth.

“I love you Harry,” you whisper. The sound of your quiet breathing is the last thing I hear as my mind fades away and sleep overtakes me.

Newbie at The Gym - Making The Gym Experience a Great One

Going to the gym can feel a little intimidating if you have never stepped foot in one or perhaps you've been there and you had no idea how to start your workout or what to do next. Not everyone can afford a personal trainer so you try to do it on your own but with so many different machines you may wonder... Which one do I go to? Wait, what muscle is this one targeting? Am I doing it correctly? It can be overwhelming and frustrating resulting in you hating the gym and never wanting to come back.  Let's try to avoid that! 

Two major mistakes people make when first going to a gym is being unprepared without a workout plan and not educating themselves on different exercises and their correct form. It really sucks when you're at the gym and feel like all you did was waste time wondering what other exercise to do and wondering if you even did it properly.  

In this post, we will go over... 2 rules to keep in mind before hitting the gym

Gym Essentials to take with you

Gym Etiquette  TWO IMPORTANT RULES AND WHY THEY ARE IMPORTANT RULE # 1- PREPARE A WORKOUT PLAN Write it down and take it with you. Write in on a piece of paper, type it in your mobile device, write it on your arm, whatever you want… JUST TAKE A WORKOUT PLAN WITH YOU. The gym is a new concept to you. You probably feel self-conscious and like any normal human being you do not want to be judged or criticized by others. The truth is NO ONE will be focused on you so breath and relax, everyone is focused on themselves and their workout. However, that is not the reason why I recommend you prepare a workout plan. It is not about other people. It is about YOU. It is about using your time efficiently so that you do not waste time and It’s about performing your workouts effectively so that you see the results that you want. When you have a plan with five or six exercises written down you know exactly how to start and what to do next. No time is wasted and there is no time to wonder around and feel awkward. To do that, however, you need to educate yourself on the exercises and how to properly execute them. Which leads us to… RULE # 2 – KNOW YOUR EXERCISES AND THEIR POPER FORM You have access to the internet. Perfect! Now find 6 simple exercises for beginners you can perform. Write those in the piece of paper you will take with you when you go to the gym. Now that you found which exercises you like read about it and watch videos on how to perform them on certain machines and/or free weights. It is important to prevent any sort of injury as it is very easy for beginners to perform an exercise incorrectly. Learn the proper form and write the instructions down if necessary. This will help you remember how to do it once you arrive at the gym. Your workout plan can be as simple as this (to start with)  6 easy workouts for beginners, simple sample Warm Up – Treadmill 20 minutes 1. Push Ups –  10 reps. 4 sets 2.     Squats – 10 reps. 4 sets 3.     Lunges – 10 reps. 4 sets 4.     Leg Curl on Machine – Lowest weights. 10 reps. 4 sets 5.     Leg Extension – lowest weights. 10 reps. 4 sets 6.     Machine bicep curl. 10 reps. 4 sets Cool down and stretch KEY TERMS:  Rep (repetition) is the number of times you do a specific exercise.  Set is the number of cycles of REPS that you complete.  For instance: You do 10 push-ups. That is 10 reps. Once the 10 push ups are completed that would be 1 set. If you do 10 more, that would be 2 sets completed.  The most important thing is for you to feel comfortable, avoid any possible injuries, and start slowly loving the gym.

Start slow, take your time, and do what you can. Hopefully that will motivate you to learn more and start challenging yourself with more complex exercises, lifting heavier weights, and even preparing a proper exercise log (strongly recommended). D O G  C A F E  D A T E

we had a date at a dog cafe, one of the first poper dates we ever had. i really enjoyed that moment, i hope we get to do t again, but now we’ll bring sarang along. i think she’ll enjoy it a lot. it’s so adorable that we only used to talk about having a baby and now we actually have one. our little bean, sarang. too bad we weren’t able to adopt just as when she was born. it would’ve been nice if she had a companion to grow with. well maybe for our second baby we can do that- yes? no? we’ll see. hahaha.

Life as K-Popers

Jadi tiba-tiba mau nulis tentang hal yang bagi sebagian orang mungkin ga penting lol

Jadi di Korea itu ada Big 4 Companies (sebelumnya Big 3) yang bergerak di bidang entertainment dari mulai training calon idol, make sure debut nya dan maintain kariernya idol tersebut dimana kalo diurutkan dari Market Capitalizations nya sebagai berikut:

1. JYP Entertainment: g.o.d, Rain, Wonder Girls, 2 PM, 2 AM, Miss A, GOT7, Twice, Day6, Stray Kids

2. Big Hit Entertainment: BTS

3. SM Entertainment: Shinhwa, BOA, Super Junior, SNSD, Shinee, F(x), EXO, Red Velvet, NCT

4. YG Entertainment: Bigbang, 2NE1, Winner, iKon, Blackpink

Dimana JYP ini naik ke peringkat 1 sejak awal tahun 2018 menyusul populernya Twice baik di Korea, Jepang, Taiwan yang basically negara asal member nya dan negara lainnya di seluruh dunia. Kebetulan aku itu ONCE (nama fansnya Twice). Jadi sejak kemunculan Twice itu mereka berhasil jual lebih dari 2 mio copy album, dalam hal ini physical album karena FYI berbeda dengan Indonesia yang sudah sangat berbasis digital, di Korea ukuran sukses dari suatu album itu adalah dari penjualan physical album. Rekor Twice ini mengalahkan semua girlgroup yang pernah ada. Bahkan Blackpink yang sangat terkenal di Indonesia penjualan albumnya hanya 25% dari Twice.

JYP juga makin kokoh di puncak dengan kepopuleran GOT7 yang sudah debut sebelumnya dan Stray Kids yang debut di 2018 dan mecahin banyak rekor digital (aku juga STAY, nama fansnya Stray Kids).

Aku udah jadi JYP Stan sejak debut GOT7 di 2014 silam hingga dengan saat ini dan selalu excited dengan project yang mereka buat.

Nah disini pembahasan tentang topik sesungguhnya dimulai. Sebenarnya aku juga mengamati YG yang terus menerus layu terkait dengan banyaknya skandal yang dibuat idolnya, ditambah dengan wamilnya hampir semua personil Bigbang dan penjualan album dari Winner, iKon dan Blackpink yang belum ‘wah’. Namun harapan untuk bangkit lagi itu muncul dengan adanya survival show: YG Treasure Box.

YG Treasure Box ini sesuai namanya menyeleksi trainee mereka untuk menjadi Treasure yang akan debut sebagai boygroup baru. Di awal Treasure yang akan dipilih adalah 5 orang.

Trainee yang berpartisipasi dibagi menjadi:

Treasure A: Trainee dengan waktu training paling lama, dan usia rata-rata nya cukup matang diatas 17-22 tahun.

Treasure B: Trainee dengan waktu training sebentar kurang dari 1 tahun, namun usianya cukup matang.

Treasure C: Trainee dengan usia yang masih muda rentang 13-17 tahun.

Treasure J: Trainee yang berasal dari Jepang, selama ini mereka training di YG Jepang.

Seiring waktu acara survival ini jadi seru, karena yang awalnya group survival menjadi individual survival sehingga mereka berkompetisi dengan teman akrab sendiri atau dengan trainee lain yang mereka hindari bahkan men-challenge trainee yang menurut mereka kemampuannya masih dibawahnya.

Format acara dibuat seru, karena selain dipilih oleh main producer nya yaitu Yang Hyun Suk (YG) aka pemiliknya, tapi juga dipilih oleh staf dari YG serta audience voting di studio maupun online via V-Live. Jadi V-Live ini semacam instagram tempat interaksi idol dengan fans. Beberapa episode terakhir kita benar-benar dilibatkan dalam voting di V-Live.

Hingga sampailah di episode-episode terakhir, diumumkan:

- Treasure dari 5 orang akan menjadi 7 orang.

- Treasure akan dipilih berdasarkan yang terbaik dari kategori Vocal, Rap dan Dance.

- 50% keputusan main producer, 25% voting studio, 25% voting online - cmiiw

Disinilah dramanya terjadi.

Jadi aku itu suka Treasure C - Ha Yoon Bin (Rap) dan Treasure J - Mashiho (all around skill) dan nge-vote mereka. Begitupun dengan kebanyakan online dan studio voters, bisa dilihat dari hasil voting nya mereka tertinggi. Secara views di video mereka pun paling banyak, juga love dan comment nya. Tapi perlu diketahui bahwa akses V-Live ini oleh orang seluruh dunia.

Dan.... mereka berdua ga kepilih sampai banyak fans yang kesal. Fans menganggap Treasure yang terpilih adalah favourite nya YG sehingga mempertanyakan kenapa ada audience voting kalau hasil akhirnya keputusan YG lah yang semuanya diambil.

Kalo hasil analisisku:

- YG mungkin tidak memilih berdasarkan favourite nya, tetapi memilih trainee yang populer di Korea untuk mengejar penjualan physical album, karena sekilas ku lihat Yoon Bin dan Mashiho ini tidak trending di Twitter Korea, melainkan trainee yang lain.

- Mungkin keputusan YG ini wajar mengingat YG butuh pundi-pundi uang untuk kembali kokoh di industri hiburan Korea. Tapi YG terkesan diktator dan tidak menghiraukan keinginan fans. YG tidak belajar dari kesuksesan BTS yang bersumber dari kedekatan dengan ARMY, fansnya.

- FYI, awalnya BTS juga tidak bagus dalam penjualan album di Korea sampai mereka terkenal worldwide dan akhirnya merajai dunia K-Pop. Sehingga penjualan physical album mereka pun luar biasa. Mungkin YG berpikir tidak semua boygroup memiliki jalan seperti BTS.

- Keterlibatan YG ini bertolak belakang dengan apa yang dilakukan Park Jin Young aka JYP, dimana JYP berusaha untuk membuat company in company, memperbaiki system sehingga ada dan tidak ada JYP proses bisnis akan terus berjalan. - Terlepas dari itu semua, semua tetap berdasarkan strategi masing-masing dan sebagai penikmat K-Pop kita mengamati perkembangannya saja.

Dan akhirnya, aku ga jadi YG Stan, masih setia menjadi JYP Stan. Intinya K-Pop itu seru, asal jangan kebablasan aja ngikutin sampai jadi boros, hedon, lupa waktu dan ibadah. Tapi balik lagi, seharusnya hal yang kita sukai mendatangkan kebaikan dan energi positif untuk diri sendiri dan orang lain.

Tarte aux abricots, quinoa soufflé et thym

Les abricots arrivent sur les étals ! Mo adore leur saveur acidulée, lorsqu'ils cuisent joliment disposé sur une pâte feuilletée maison... bon, mais les pâtes feuilletées, c'est long à réaliser ! Aujourd'hui MO te raconte comment en faire une version plus rapide...mais toujours bien bonne et feuilletée !

Il te faut, pour réaliser le beurre de tourage : -115g de beurre -50g de farine -30 minutes de repos au frais

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

>Coupe le beurre en dés et pétris ensemble beurre et farine, d'abord en effritant le beurre comme pour la réalisation d'une pâte sablée, puis en écrasant et homogénéisant jusqu'à obtenir une pâte lisse. >Filme et réserve au frais 30 minutes.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Pendant ce temps, réunis les ingrédients pour la détrempe : -115g de farine -5cl d'eau (3 cuillères à soupe et 1 cuillère à café !) -une noix de beurre fondu -une pincée de sel -10 minutes de repos au frais

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

>Mélange farine et sel, puis ajoute l'eau en amalgamant à l'aide d'une cuillère. >Fais fondre le beurre puis ajoute-le à la pâte. >Pétris jusqu'à obtenir une pâte homogène. Elle est très souple et molle, c'est normal ! >Filme et laisse au frais 10 minutes.

Après 10 minutes, ressort la détrempe : >Tasse-la d'abord en forme carrée avant de l'abaisser d'un seul mouvement, en un rectangle (environ, la détrempe étant très souple), assez long mais pas trop fin ni fragile.

Après les 30 minutes de repos, sors le beurre de tourage : >Tasse-le en forme carrée, puis abaisse-le en un beau rectangle régulier, qui doit être plus long et plus large que la détrempe (parce qu'on va poser la détrempe au milieu !)

>...pose la détrempe au milieu du beurre de tourage abaissé. >Découpe nettement les morceaux de beurre de tourage qui dépassent tout autour de la détrempe, et récupère-les pour les poser par-dessus la détrempe (puzzle pour que tout s'harmonise !)

>Plie chaque extrémité de la pâte obtenue vers le centre, pour que les deux bords se rencontrent. >Plie ensuite les deux extrémités, l'une par-dessus l'autre, comme tu fermerais un portefeuille. >Tu as tes épaisseurs de feuilletage ! Abaisse maintenant ce pâton tout replié en un nouveau rectangle long et régulier. >Recommence le pliage, en deux puis en portefeuille. Abaisse le pâton, puis recommence le pliage,... En tout, tu dois faire 4 tours de ce refrain. >Lorsque tu as abaissé un long rectangle pour la dernière fois, filme-le et laisse-le reposer au frais pour 30 minutes supplémentaires. Puis ce sera prêt à l'emploi !

Pour rendre la tarte croustillante, Mo décide de préparer du quinoa soufflé, ces petites billes sont un délice vraiment facile à faire !

il te faudra :

-une grosse poignée de graines de quinoa -un peu d’huile de coco

>D’abord, il faut rincer ton quinoa à l’eau claire, pour enlever la saponine qui le recouvre. Essore-le bien, tu peux même l’étaler sur la plaque du four et mettre à chauffer au niveau 1 pour gagner du temps. Une fois que tes grains sont propres et bien secs, c’est parti !

>Tu vas faire chauffer un peu d’huile de coco au fond d’une casserole. >Recouvre ensuite le fond avec les graines de quinoa, il faut le faire couche par couche, sinon les graines risquent de brûler en dessous. >Couvre à l’aide d’un couvercle et laisse chauffer à feu doux. >Peu à peu, tu vas entendre les graines poper, surveille-les bien car elles sont promptes à trop griller !

Une fois que tes grains sont gonflés, coupe le feu et récupère-les ! Tu peux les utiliser pour plein de choses ! Pour tes desserts, mais aussi dans des salades, ou comme des graines de sésames dans des plats !

Pendant ce dernier repos, tu peux dénoyauter et couper tes abricots en quartiers, et chaque quartier en deux. Mo a utilisé pour garnir la tarte: -environ 15 abricots -du thym -de la confiture de pêches de vigne -quelques grosses pincées de sucre cassonade

>Sors la pâte feuilletée du frigo et abaisse-la sur un papier cuisson, en une pâte à tarte ronde et plutôt fine, >Badigeonne le fond de tarte de confiture et saupoudre d'un peu de thym. >Dispose les abricots selon une géométrie de ton choix, en commençant par l'extérieur de la tarte pour revenir vers le centre. >Roule légèrement le tour de la pâte en un boudin fin, et saupoudre le tout de sucre cassonade : un peu si tu aimes l'acidité des fruits, ou davantage si tu préfères un dessert plus sucré. >Ajoute enfin tes pépites de quinoa soufflé par dessus !

>Enfourne pour environ 25 minutes à 180°C. Tu peux terminer, en surveillant attentivement, par une cuisson courte au grill pour caraméliser un peu les fruits !

Mmmh, il en ressort une tarte léonine, au goût hyper peps ! Et le lendemain, c'est encore meilleur...

I write based on my mood. Even I write this is because I am doing my paper of Research Methodology middle term exam and I want to write another things hahaha. I followed my mood and emotions, also feelings, too much and almost neglecting what my logic and thought. Raditya Dika once said. Yap, it can be good and bad because I do what my mood want me to do.
