Over the years, Lexa had developed a habit of taking her grandfather's words with a hefty grain of salt. The gods tended to over dramatize events and situations, and he proved to be no different. So when the old bastard warned her about his blood brother, she paid him no heed. There was quite a few many things the Allfather was wrong about, but when he was right? Lexa's shoulders rose and fell sharply with her sigh.

" Okay this one's on me. " She can practically hear Odin's ground-shaking MIRTH. She had always figured Loki was the family scapegoat, but perhaps the myths transcribed by mortals were more accurate than not. " Why did you need me? Couldn't you have gotten it yourself? " Lexa gestures to the meginjord, now in the trickster god's possession. Her uncle will be most displeased she played a hand in all of this.

"That is very true, once you really look at religions, there seems to be a common pattern around sacrifices, relationships, gods giving parts of themselves to make a world, etc." She wasn't a fan of Gaea after the second war, but that was besides the point. "No, usually they're sending their children out on quests for the littlest things."

He's not perfect. He's pretty comfortable with the status quo, and he had no idea he was working for the bad guys. Despite that, he managed to help a self-described villain (note: not how he sees it) find a safe place, make friends, and turn things around. What a guy.

There’s zero chance Loki and Hela having so many similarities is just a coincidence. And even though we’re most definitely never getting a full explanation for it, I’m so curious as to what you guys believe the reason is. Do you think:

a.) Loki’s a shapeshifter who can see people’s memories when he touches them. So when Odin picked him up as a baby, he saw Hela in Odin’s mind and shifted himself to resemble her.

b.) Loki and Hela have the same biological mother.

c.) Hela is Loki’s biological mother.

d.) Odin changed Loki to look like Hela when he first held him, because he missed her.

e.) Hela’s biological mother is jotun, and she and Loki both have black hair/pale skin/green aesthetic/etc because that’s just what frost giants look like when they take an asgardian form.

f.) Hela and Loki are both adopted, both children of Laufey. Odin took Hela centuries earlier, then when he realised Laufey’d had another child, he took Loki too.
