"That be wonderful, I'd love to have you over for some tea....or coffee" She said with a soft laugh knowing Finn preferred the Latter. "were also some of the smartest people. We should try and all get together. I'm sure with our libraries combined we could do some sort of swap meet" She smiled "We could meet once a every few weeks and let each other know what we thought of the book we got the week prior!" She had been looking for another social outlet and maybe another place to pick up some gossip. "He's a good man too, which you don't find sometimes with drug dealers" She couldn't help but laugh a little.

After Jessie had arrived with Damian and had enough of a look around to see Raziel wasn’t there, she finally sat down by the water and was able to relax. She watched some kids play and smiled softly, picturing her future child joining in one day, when she jumped hearing someone come up behind her. “Oh, Josie,” she took a deep breath, steadying her nerves. “Hey, I didn’t hear you.” Then she remembered the advice column she read the other day. “How…are you doing?”

SHE'S NOT MAKING IT A HABIT, breaking into cooper's car. she's only done it once before and swears this will be the last — it will also be the last time she snoops through his notes to reveal his next mission, the last time she deems herself helpful enough to tag along without an invitation. it does sting a little, every time he plans to leave without her, all under the pretense of keeping her safe — as if she'll ever be safe somewhere he is not. she can't remember the last time she slept an entire night without being enveloped in his arms. « don't be angry please, » she's quick to say from the backseat of his car when he slides into the driver's seat in front of her. she leans forward, apologetic smile present on her lips as she breathes in the familiar scent of him; aftershave and soap and her cooper. « it's a long ride. you'll be glad for the company, i promise. »

Jorge and Lee had been having a conversation when the door opened and their partner walked in the door to their house. “I just don’t think it is a very good idea is all.” Leeland confessed to the other man who looked clearly irritated. “You’re being really irrational and unfair. You know that if you or Josie asked me to attend a event with both of you i would in a heartbeat.” Jorge stressed. Jorge had always been the easy going and laid back one who was usually the level headed one out of the two. As where Lee spent most of his time working, and was a lot more tense. “I only think it is a bad idea because I know how people can be.” He pointed out. “You know we go out and assholes high five us but the standards that the world puts on women are just unfair. Lee stressed before Jorge laughed sarcastically. “You are afraid someone may make a comment? You don’t think we all can’t handle someones shitty opinion on all of us being together? I think we should just let her decide for herself. If you don’t want to attend with us then so be it but don’t make that choice for all of us.” His arms crossed child like as he looked over to the woman who was now in the room with us. Lee rolled his eyes, “fine, jorje wants us to go to his company work party…at the bar tonight as a couple.” He told her. “I just worry that maybe it is a bad idea. You both know I love all of us together.. but i also know everyone doesn’t understand and I just don’t want a fight to break out because alcohol is involved.”

Josie looks up from the book he’s pretending to be busy with. Part of his new “I’m a devilworker now and we do cool things, like pretend to be intelligent” shtick. He has possibly the most pretentious book in his hands, The Unbearable Lightness of Being—and ironically, he feels a welcome weight on his lower half.

The cover concealing his mouth, he gives Kyo a raised brow and waits for a dramatic moment before finally asking, “And what exactly do you think you’re doing?” There’s an-almost scolding note to his words, and he leaves it at that, knowing there’s plenty more ground to cover now that the other has made it quite clear what he wants from him.

Still, it’s nice every now and then to make Kyo admit these things.

"is there some feud between the town and the commune i'm supposed to know about?" she asked "some people look at me like i'm trash when i stay in there" from zelda's perspective, she was alone in a strange place and was told that monsters come and get you at night. logically speaking, it was better for her to be around people - both in a social and a safety aspect. "you've been here since you were born? shit, i'm sorry to hear that. this must be a living nightmare for you" she felt horrible for the people that have been stuck here their whole lives. seeing the exit to the town and never getting to cross it.

"it's nice to meet you too. thanks, my mum was a fan of unusual names." she smiled "oh i was one hundred percent named after the video game but i'm sure aunt zelda was probably a factor as well. the only difference being that i don't have a sassy black cat calling the shots" she laughed "you made those? they're amazing. are you an artist?"

"Oh that makes a lot more sentence. I don't keep up much with the commune" she got a little bit from Spencer and Carter every so often but it was only a little bit at a time. "It never get easier, I'll be honest with you. Hey! at least you haven't been stuck in this place since you were born." She said with a laugh but the whole thing was really grim. "It's nice to meet you. Zelda that's a really pretty name." She chimed "Now are you named after the Video Game character or the Aunt from 'Sabrina the Teenage witch'?" Thease were the important questions. "I do! I made these two owls behind me! for the Library"

Myles had promised Toni she would do nothing but relax while they were here, so as she sat in her camping chair, she just looked around hoping to catch people’s eyes and wave them over to talk to. Thankfully, Josie came directly to her. “Well, now I know what you went through from experience,” she smirked. “This is the first time I’ve sat down without an ice pack,” she joked.

His confusion was splayed out on his face. How had he changed? Josie knew the true answer to this but, if everything had been going the way it he'd planned, no one would be as suspicious as Aly had been about his changes. Ever since they met up for coffee a month or so ago, she'd been on his tail. Nothing he told her seemed to throw her off.

Well, he still needed to seem casual about the whole thing. If it meant having to be a bit mean, to convince her she was growing delusional—he'd do it so long as it blew away his crumb trail.

"Is this because you're jealous of me or something?" There was nothing outright venomous in his tone but it was laced with something totally alien to their usual easygoing dynamic.

Josie. Casual. Not defensive!

But it was already too late. He'd said what he said, and there was no taking it back. He was not the kind of person—no, not anymore—who retracted on what they said just to please others.

WHAT’S IN THE BAG? - ft. jocelyn lau

Josie was super excited to have been chosen to embark on a trip through her work and studies to a place she'd never been to before. Heck, she hadn't really travelled much at all up until college, even then, she always ventured home when she could, being the homebody she is. So, whilst her packing skills may not be the best she's glad she has small pieces of home to keep away the homesickness as best as possible.

she was initially dressed smart as that's what their dad told them was best when flying, especially far, but eventually josie did change into something comfier, including a pair of beat up converse
