sugar, a little spice, and everything’s all right
Summary : There are twelve orange and green candied apples on their kitchen table - not exactly what Tabitha pictured when Archie invited them over for a night of horrors, his words. (drabble.)
Fandom : Riverdale
Characters : Tabitha Tate/Jughead Jones
Notes : this is the seriously fluffiest shit i ever wrote (fyi i have a vast vocabulary but a potty mouth irl). if not ever then at least in the last… well it doesn’t matter how long ago. but Tabitha deserves only nice things. and thats not up for debate here so. lets get on with the story!

The way Tabitha smiled when Archie announced her name as one of the proposed council members of the new Riverdale. And her name being the first to be called despite moving to the town not too long ago; see when you’re naturally an IT girl, because Tabitha Tate being an IT GIRL just warms my heart.

riverdale hsm 2 musical episode:
what time is it- sung initially by kevin and his drama students, to introduce the musical. then we go around to: veronica and reggie who are excitedly beginning a new illegal scheme like an underground gambling ring; archie and betty who are celebrating their like six month anniversary of officially being together or whatever; tabitha and jughead who are reopening pops after some other new tragic riverdale accident like an earthquake caused by a bomb in dilton doiley’s sex bunker or something; toni and fangs with baby anthony; and cheryl who’s like, going mad in an attic after nana rose dies
fabulous- naturally veronica sings this as an ode to her old nyc glamorous girlboss wall street life
gotta go my own way- barchie duet because betty is realizing archie isn’t the same person she’s loved since childhood and neither is she and they both need to find a way back to themselves if they want to be together. it’s all very dramatic and also shared with tabitha and jughead who are Not holding true to the spirit of the song because they’re not even really on the verge of a breakup they’re just fighting over something stupid like tabitha suggesting they change one menu item at pops and jughead being annoying about it
bet on it- veronica and reggie sing about their underground gambling ring. also toni goes to thornhill to try to get cheryl to return to society and naturally cheryl is dramatic about it
i don’t dance- kevin and josie (makes a special appearance) are trying to convince archie to pick up his guitar again!
work this out- as the conclusion of jughead and tabitha’s c story at pops, naturally pop tate also makes an appearance
you are the music in me- sung by archie and the rest of the cast at the end of the episode to show that now that he has music in his heart again he loves his friends and his town and can continue to try to make riverdale a better place like his dad wanted <3

hello join me in thinking about some books and authors that are, or might be, part of s5′s intertextuality
5.10 in particular offered specific shout outs, and also u know i’m always wondering what might be ahead so i have some ideas on that:
- first, as mentioned in a previous ask post, i know i wasn’t alone in keeping an eye out for 5.10 parallels to the lost weekend (1945) the film that gave episode 1.10 its name and several themes - or to the 1944 book by charles r jackson which the film is based on
- s5 has not been shy about revisiting earlier seasons, especially s1. altho i feel that 1.10′s parallels to the lost weekend centered characters other than jughead (mostly betty), a 1.10-5.10 connection involving jughead and themes from jackson’s story (addiction, writers block, self reflection) seemed v possible if not inevitable
- but like,, , for a hot minute after the ep, i was really stumped on understanding how anything from the book or film could apply, even tho the pieces were almost all there
- jackson’s protagonist don birnam goes thru and comes out the other side of a harrowing days-long drinking binge that could be compared to jughead’s one-night hallucinogenic writing retreat
- but jughead is struggling primarily with traumatic memories, not addiction and self control like birnam. and tho drinking activates birnam’s creativity, it paralyzes his writing as he gets lost in fantasies; he’s never published anything. jughead’s drug trip recreates circumstances that already helped him write one successful book. even the rat that startles him mid-high doesn’t line up with birnam’s withdrawal vision of a dying mouse, symbolic of his horror at his own self-destruction thru alcohol
- and maybe the most visible discordance: in the film there’s a romantic motif around a typewriter. first it’s an object of shame; birnam’s failure to write, tied up with his drinking, makes him flee his relationship. he tries to pawn the typewriter for booze money and finally a gun when shooting himself feels easier than getting sober. but with the help of relentless encouragement from girlfriend helen, he quits drinking, commits to her, and focuses on typing out the story he’s dreamt of writing. rd goes so far to avoid setting any comparable scenario that jughead has brought a wholeass printer into the bunker so there can still be a physical manuscript to cover in blood by the end, even without his own typewriter. the subtle detail of his laptop bg image is a little less noticeable than his avoidance of betty’s gift
- tabitha might be closer to a parallel than jughead is, but she’s still no helen. both refuse to take advantage of the inebriated men in their care, but birnam takes advantage of helen, financially and emotionally. jughead refused a loan from the tate family and now has resolved to deal with his shit before he considers a relationship with tabitha. instead of helen’s relentless and unwelcomed attempts to get birnam sober, tabitha reluctantly agrees to help jughead trip safely bondage escape notwithstanding. she even helps him get the drugs.
- whatever potentials exist for parallels to jackson’s story, they were not explored for this episode. ok so why tf am i even talking about this? what was there instead?
-  i have arrived at the point
- s5 has been revisiting s1, not directly but with a twist. and jughead’s agent samm pansky is back. u may recall, pansky is named for sam lansky
- jughead’s trip-thru-trauma is a story device tapped straight from lansky’s book ‘broken people’
- lansky is like if a millenial john rechy wrote extremely LA-flavored meta but just about himself no jk very like a modern successor to charles r jackson. both play with the boundary between memoir and fiction. lansky is gay; jackson wrote his lost weekend counterpart as closeted and remained closeted himself until only a few years before his death. both write with emotional clarity and self-scrutiny on the experiences of addiction, sobriety, and the surrounding issues of shame and self worth
- i feel like a fool bc after this ep i had been thinking about de quincey and his early writings on addiction (c.1800s), but i failed to carry the thought in the other direction, to contemporary writers in the genre, to make this connection sooner
- lansky’s second book, broken people, follows narrator ‘sam’, mid-20s, super depressed, hastled by his agent to write a decent follow-up to his first book, but too busy struggling with his self-worth and baggage from several past relationships. desperate, he takes up an offer to visit a new age shaman who promises to fix everything wrong with him in a matter of days. not to over simplify it but he literally spends a weekend doing psychedelics and hallucinating about his exes. jughead took note
- unless u want me to hurl myself into yet another dissertation about queer jughead, i think his parallel to sam - who, unlike jughead, has considerable financial privilege and whose anxieties center on body dysmorphia, hiv scares, and his own self-centeredness - pretty much ends there
- But,, the gist of the book could not be more harmonius with a major theme shared by the 2 films that inform the actual hallucination part of jughead’s bunker scene: mentally reframing past relationships to get closure + confronting trauma head-on in order to move forward
- so that’s neat. what other book and author stuff was in 5.10?
- stephen king and raymond carver get name dropped. i’m passingly familiar with them both but u bet i just skimmed their wiki bios in case anything relevant jumped out
- like jughead, carver was a student (later a lecturer) at the iowa writers workshop. also the son of an alcoholic and one himself
- i recall carver’s ‘what we talk about when we talk about love’ is what jughead was reading in 2.14 ‘the hills have eyes’ after he finds out about the first time betty kissed archie (at that time he does not respond as would any of carver’s characters)
- this collection of carver stories deals especially with infidelity, failings of communication, and the complexities and destructiveness of love. to unashamedly quote the resource that is course hero, ‘carver renders love as an experience that is inherently violent bc it produces psychic and emotional wounds.’ very fun to wonder about the significance of this collection within the s2 episode and in jughead’s thoughts. and maybe now in the context of the s5 state of relationships. or, at least, the state of jughead’s writing as seen by his agent
- anyway pansky doesn’t want carver, he wants stephen king
- i have too much to say about gerald’s game in 5.10, that’s getting its own post someday soon
- lol wait king’s wife is named tabitha uhhh king’s wiki reminded me of his childhood experience that possibly inspired his short story ‘the body’ (+1986 movie ‘stand by me’) when he ‘apparently witnessed one of his friends being struck and killed by a train tho he has no memory of the event’
- no mention of that in this rd episode but memories of a train could be interesting to consider with the imagery that intrudes on jughead’s hallucination. i still feel like it was a truck but the lights and sounds he experiences may be a train
- ok now we’re in the speculation part of today’s segment
- if jughead’s traumatic memory involves trains, then it’s possible this plot will take influence from la bête humaine <- this 1938 movie is based on the 1890 novel by french writer émile zola. this story deals with alcoholism and possessive jealousy in relationships, sometimes leading to murder. huh, kind of like carver. zola def comes down on the nature side of the nature-vs-nuture bad seed question (tho i should say he approaches this with great or maybe just v french compassion). also i can’t tell if this is me reaching but, something about la bête humaine reminds me of king’s ‘secret window’ which we’ve observed to be at least a style influence on jughead post time jump
- but wow a late-19th century french writer would be a random thing to drop into this season, right? then again zola also wrote about miners, which we’ve learned are an important part of this town’s history + whatever hiram is up to this time.  and most notably, zola wrote ‘j’accuse...!’ an open letter in defense of a soldier falsely accused and unlawfully jailed for treason: alfred dreyfus. archie’s recent army trouble comes to mind.
- since the introduction of old man dreyfuss (plausibly Just a nod to close encounters actor richard dreyfuss, but also when is anything in this show Just one thing) i’ve been wondering if these little things could add up to a season-long reference to zola’s writings. but i had doubts and didn’t want to speak on it too soon bc, u know, it’s weird but is it weird enough for riverdale??
- however,,,
- (come on, u knew where i was going with this)
- a24′s film zola just came out. absolutely no relation to the french writer, it’s not based on a book but an insane and explicit twitter thread by aziah ‘zola’ wells about stripping and? human trafficking?? this feels ripe for rd even outside the potentials here for the lonely highway/missing girls plot.
- that would add up to a combination of homage that feels natural to this show
- anyway pls understand i’m just having fun speculating, most of this is based on nothing more concrete than the torturous mental tendril ras has hooked into my skull pls let go ras pls let go

Riverdale S5 E7 Fire in The Sky - 5 things I loved/ 3 things to consider
I loved this:
1. Cheryl’s slowmo superhero entrance and the  Cheryl Hair Whip Sound Effect. There are various ways to armor yourself if you’re fragile, wounded and/or trying to protect yourself.  One way is to dematerialize or be invisible (such as, Jughead saying there were three in the booth, exempting himself). The other, rarer way, is Cheryl’s, which is to project as big and forceful a presence as possible.  I find this so moving about her.  I also just love it when Cheryl swirls her hair around, which she always does in dance numbers, and the power of her hair is such that the world slows down and her hair gets its own sound effect.  I love that a big competitive cardio workout brings out the Red Lipstick Cheryl again.
 2.  Tabitha and her lively reading of the alien sighting articles that Jughead has found from the library was such a tonic.  She manages a kind sarcasm, which seems like a contradiction in terms.  What a fabulous character she is!  Enlivening, warm, funny,  smart, and just spectacularly gorgeous.   Along with Veronica, she is a do-er, a person who moves a project or idea forward, and with gusto.  She can see that Jughead needs help, and doesn’t pussyfoot around it either. She asks directly, Were you drinking? which I think takes a lot of courage.  Oh, and did I say I liked her face? I mean,  What. A. Face.
3.  The sad scene of four women - victim’s mother (this actress was so great at conveying a heavy, crushing sadness), Toni in social worker mode and the two Cooper ladies - openly discussing the pain of being women in a world where women are so routinely victimized and harmed, and promising each other that even if nobody else cared, we care, was very affecting and real.  I’m haunted by Betty’s worried eyes.
4.  The clothing was really fun this episode.  The men who are ‘not good’ all favor the same kind of tie - bold diagonal stripes (from last episode, Glen and Chad, and in this episode Hiram) and seeing it on Hiram is what made it click for me.  When Veronica does what she loved doing even as a kid - launch several huge projects simultaneously - she goes from dressing in the Fantasy Hot Teacher way at the start of her teaching career (shoulders exposed, skirts tight at the waist) to navy presidential-candidate pantsuits and pinstripe blazers.  When united in their (fraught, but still genuine) love for Polly, the Cooper women dress in uniform (navy sweaters, jeans).  Jughead is starting to figure how to personalize that waiter uniform, which is to add a lot of slouch and attitude, and he’s going in the opposite direction from FP, who tried to wear it perfectly as a costume (apparently, Jughead does not do bowties, no matter what).
5. I loved the small moment memorializing that Fred Andrews did the small essential basics, the unglamorous bits nobody praises you for, really well. Like having fire extinguishers in easy-to-find places.  The care that competent people take does have a long lasting impact.
3 Things to Consider
 a.  What am I supposed to make of the fact that the alien lights are bright orange and warm and sort of sunshiny?  Usually alien badness tends to be shown in genre fare in unnerving greens, but because they’re in Riverdale, everyone in this community finds the alien lights really enticing.  They walk towards it, out of the safety of shelter, and feel sad when it’s gone.  The old solitary man Jughead interviewed last episode wanted to go with them, and even Pop Tate wishes they’d come back.
b. The Straight Marriage is Bad For Your Health thesis is very funny the more it goes on.  Like, why would Chad being a husband allow him to exert this much power over Veronica, where she would have to subsume her Alpha-ness and her desire to create endeavors where she’s the boss and guide? She can only be herself when she’s apart from him.   Is the point that the institution of marriage obliterates women’s true personalities?  Dude that is harsh.
c.  Reggie Mantle with a shotgun is so unhappy about being this kind of man that he confesses something important to Betty, directly against Hiram’s wishes, and Eric with a shotgun about to go murder Hiram is what gets Archie to blurt out his truth (he’s in pain, he feels himself in a new identity - miliitary - that his civilian friends can’t cope with, and he feels frantic).  These guns make me nervous, because of Chekhov.

Riverdale Creates Its Own Church Because Why Not?
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
This Riverdale review contains spoilers.
Riverdale Season 5 Episode 16
“Being canonized has always been one of my life’s goals.”
And so it came to pass that Cheryl Blossom turned water into maple syrup.
Goddamn Riverdale is glorious trash.
In what is either very subtle marketing for The Eyes of Tammy Faye or just the best direction this show has taken since everyone was hopped up on Jingle Jangle, the Blossom family’s “Church of Jason” antics came into sharp focus this week. Although relegated to a B or C plot, this plotline — which works equally well as a satire on hip religions that popped up out of nowhere (see also: last week’s The Other Two) or as Cheryl’s latest brush with divine darkness.
The focal point of this episode was clearly supposed to be Archie getting justice for his fallen comrades, but how can one be expected to pay attention to military intrigue when a line like “for I am Cheryl Blossom, Queen of the Bees” is delivered by Madelaine Petsch without a hint of insincerity? Disjointed as this season is, there’s been a clear effort on the part of the writing to staff to give the show’s secondary characters more to do. (Due to Petsch’s constant scene-stealing it’s easy to forget that she was previously a supporting character before the series’ producers made the wise decision to become an ensemble piece instead of focusing primarily on Archie, Veronica, Betty and Jughead). As a result, Cheryl has shone brighter than ever.
While Penelope clearly sees the Church of Jason as another shady enterprise, for Cheryl it has become a, well, bona fide religious experience. Since breaking up with Toni she has become, in the immortal words of The Lemonheads, “a ship without a rudder.” The Church of Jason gives her a purpose, even if it is only to satisfy her carnivorous desire for validation. Although this has some unexpected side effects, namely that her false divinity unexpectedly gave rise to an actual miracle when she controlled the bees and use them to dispel Penelope from the Church. “Something inside me has shifted,” she tells Kevin afterwards, “something powerful.” More than just quasi-literally becoming a Queen Bee, Cheryl has undergone a true religious awakening and tapped into a power inside of herself. How will this manifest? And what ramifications will it have for her and all of Riverdale itself?
Cheryl has always been more of a persona than a character, reliably outrageous with hints of an inner depth that go undeveloped as the series’ tears through its storytelling. I’d like to think that whatever is happening here is going to correct that wrong and give Cheryl the ability to be fleshed out more. Seeing how self-aware Riverdale has been of late (i.e. Josie’s takedown of the entire gang last week), there is a renewed effort to strengthen sidelined characters. Let’s see how Cheryl benefits from this in the few remaining episodes of the season.
Speaking of sidelined characters, there is none more so than Casey Cott’s Kevin Keller. Five seasons in and Kevin can be boiled down to “loves musicals and cruising for anonymous sex,” which doesn’t exactly befit the character’s GLAAD-award comic book counterpart. The continual lack of depth for Kevin and the show’s reliance on stereotyping him remains an absolute downer. Where are his multitudes? At least by pairing him with Cheryl he isn’t out in Fox Forest all the time. Again though, he remains sidelined without any clear definition. I give the series credit for not following the cliched “Bury Your Gays” trope, but by continually mishandling Keller the argument could be made that his lack of dimensions are a fate worse than death. I’m hoping that the show finally figures out what to do with him, as Cott and Keller — who was Archie’s first openly gay character — deserve much better.
The Church of Jason’s actual goals are unclear, and the miracles on display here were pretty much sacrilegious. Now that something has shifted in Cheryl, expect her to transform the religion into something based on her past trauma (and her mother’s scheming) into something entirely different, and perhaps dark. For now though, I’m willing to go on faith that the Church of Jason, and Riverdale itself, has some entertaining miracles up its gloriously bonkers sleeve.

Riverdale Rundown
Like last week’s excellent installment, this episode was directed by Robin Givens, who is rapidly becoming one of this series’ best helmers.
I for one would have loved to have seen Cheryl and Kevin’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat medley. Thanks Penelope.
A nice bit of meta humor appeared when Jason was referred to as “a man of few words” as we have yet to see the character utter even a pre-death flashback syllable.
K.J. Apa’s hair seems to be rebelling against the red hair dye more and more each week.
This episode’s main plot was about Archie’s attempts to bring General Taylor to justice, but it is so disconnected from the other storylines that it ultimately results in a major shrug. Even the show seems uninterested in this, with the climatic tribunal — which would have at least provided some A Few Good Men pastiching — happening off screen.
Before it was cancelled, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘s next season was supposed to be a massive Riverdale crossover involving witches. One can only wonder if Cheryl’s new abilities are somehow tied into this abandoned event.
We learn that Reggie and Hermosa had “a thing,” and one that Veronica seems both revolted (and perhaps a bit jealous?) of.
Hiram Lodge storing his palladium in model of So-Dale is very on brand.
The book Jughead initially passes off as his own before coming to his senses is “Rules of Distraction,” (an obvious riff on The Rules of Attraction) written by the very Riverdale-named Cora Carter.
Jughead’s agent is named Samm, and this is perhaps not so coincidental. One of the greatest-ever Archie artists was Samm Schwartz, who has best known for his work on the Jughead solo comic. By giving the character fluid movement and hilarious facial expressions, Schwartz’s gag-packed panels remain the most pleasing take on the character in Archie’s 80-year history.
Copter Cab, a rideshare company that takes one-percenters to exclusive events via helicopter is such a douchey idea that I’m generally shocked it doesn’t exist in real life.
Jughead gets one of the best lines of the week when he remarks to Betty that she “solved like eight mysteries in high school and were still valedictorian.”
What with Archie’s crusade for justice, Veronica generally kicking ass in her battle to detach from Chad and regain her She-Wolf of Wall Street Mojo, all the aforementioned magic of Cheryl and Kevin, and Jughead’s attempt to get his life back on track, Betty’s search for the Lonely Highway Trucker didn’t get much screentime until the end of the episode. By pairing with Tabitha Tate on the road, she has a new ally, and I can’t wait to see these two trying to solve crimes together.
Speaking of, the Lonely Highway Killer has to be TBK, right?
It’s interesting that the past two episodes have worked overtime to make Mr. Lodge seem small and foolish. I’m not quite sure where this is leading, but it’s satisfying to see him get some comeuppance at last.
Fake brands this week include the Boysenberry pager and The Wall Beat Journal.
Now that Jughead’s The Lost Weekend-ing seems to be headed towards the backburner, I’m excited for next week’s installment which promises the return of Mothmen. Finally.

this took two days *shrugs*
- Nana Rose just shows up to say crazy shit that nobody bothers to fact check.
- Still obsessed over Betty/Archie. I mean, I don’t know what show YOU’RE watching but I’m hoping they just let these two pretty violent people kill and be done with it.
- Erinn’s hair looks slightly better this season but I still want to know who does her hair and makeup. I just want to talk.
- Speaking of, Tabitha and Jughead. 💕 I like this winning feeling. I’m usually sailing on dead ships.
- Reggie looks unconvinced…and I am too since the show made it clear that they were both pretty much in Riverdale due to circumstances. Not by choice. But I guess Rivervale? Is she staying now for Reggie? Why else would she stay? Leave Veronica! The town is cursed in any universe!
*ahem*
- Why are we putting children in Cheryl’s care? Sidenote: MP looks amazing like you can tell they have the most fun finding stuff for her to wear. I covet almost everything (but in black, my closet is stereotypical new yorker please)
- oh that was just up until the title card. damn show. this is gonna take a couple tries finish all the way through. *goes for wine*
- god, my sister is having her second baby and my brother just had his first so i’ve heard a version of this question since JUNE. stop these people.
- wtf. i literally do not care about what cheryl is saying. its hilariously bad (and offensive) in a thousand ways.
- so do we actually hear about how toni feels about cheryl’s claims? 👀 (finished the episode: of course not.)
- “there’s no way a serpent mother would abandon her baby.” HAHAHAHA. isn’t that the point of the serpents? found family and whatnot?
- im sorry toni. you deserve better too.
- that was the least sexy rolling around in money scene ever. they feel so… controlled in their scenes where they are both usually prone to overdramatics. au characterization? nah. thats too much insight for this show. im only 15 mins in let me give them a chance. (so veronica sacrificed archie so reggie would stop feeling like second place. so archie has to die in order for reggie to win? hm.)
- i like archie too much to comment on my last statement publicly 😶 but you too deserve better reggie.
- LOL Alice. first. i’ve tried alice’s direct approach. after several glasses of wine. 10/10 would recommend. but strong silent type? uhm.
- i think archie, who took in his own best friend and watched his father take in people who needed help, would be open to adoption.
- im sorry toni. you deserve better THAN TO BE CHERYL’S SIDEKICK AGAIN
- free the children !
- is it that they don’t want to pay any of the other riverparents that i have to sit through frank andrews. boo.
- “tab tab.” boooo cheryl. hiss. AND the headband. booo. you’re not fooling me riverdale hair and make up.
- betty could’ve said, “we’re going because im going to kill this crazy bitch once and for all.” and then archie’d say, “im in. what do you need me to do?” but no.
- “I love you back.” ARCHIE AND JUGHEAD : THE REAL OTP.
- cheryl: so all you have to do is…
riverpeople: but EYE don’t actually have to do anything right?
- UM. sorry. I need a moment. the table pull. I just… it saved the pie moment for me.
- “I’m with child.” I cackled. It was ugly. I choked on my smoke. It was almost worth it. Then I watched it again. (I don’t come to Riverdale for normal guys and I think we spent five seasons establishing that they (Betty and Archie) are not their so called labels so why would I want that for them?)
- “Jug.” OTP I TELL YOU
- Veronica did not even hesitate. CRYING. Not even an “I’m sorry Archiekins.”
- well, that was as batshit as everyone said. also post time jump jughead is doing it for me.

[TASK 106: CHICKASAW]
There’s a masterlist below compiled of over 80+ Chickasaw faceclaims categorised by gender with their occupation and ethnicity denoted if there was a reliable source. The Chickasaw are the 15th largest federally recognized Native American tribe, hailing from the Southeastern US states of Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee; though the majority now reside in Oklahoma.  If you want an extra challenge use random.org to pick a random number! Of course everything listed below are just suggestions and you can pick whichever character or whichever project you desire.
Any questions can be sent here and all tutorials have been linked below the cut for ease of access! REMEMBER to tag your resources with #TASKSWEEKLY and we will reblog them onto the main! This task can be tagged with whatever you want but if you want us to see it please be sure that our tag is the first five tags, @ mention us or send us a messaging linking us to your post!
THE TASK - scroll down for FC’s!
STEP 1: Decide on a FC you wish to create resources for! You can always do more than one but who are you starting with? There are links to masterlists you can use in order to find them and if you want help, just send us a message and we can pick one for you at random!
STEP 2: Pick what you want to create! You can obviously do more than one thing, but what do you want to start off with? Screencaps, RP icons, GIF packs, masterlists, PNG’s, fancasts, alternative FC’s - LITERALLY anything you desire!
STEP 3: Look back on tasks that we have created previously for tutorials on the thing you are creating unless you have whatever it is you are doing mastered - then of course feel free to just get on and do it. :)
STEP 4: Upload and tag with #TASKSWEEKLY! If you didn’t use your own screencaps/images make sure to credit where you got them from as we will not reblog packs which do not credit caps or original gifs from the original maker.
THINGS YOU CAN MAKE FOR THIS TASK -  examples are linked!
Stumped for ideas? Maybe make a masterlist or graphic of your favourite faceclaims. A masterlist of names. Plot ideas or screencaps from a music video preformed by an artist. Masterlist of quotes and lyrics that can be used for starters, thread titles or tags. Guides on culture and customs.
Screencaps
RP icons [of all sizes]
Gif Pack [maybe gif icons if you wish]
PNG packs
Manips
Dash Icons
Character Aesthetics
PSD’s
XCF’s
Graphic Templates - can be chara header, promo, border or background PSD’s!
FC Masterlists - underused, with resources, without resources!
FC Help - could be related, family templates, alternatives.
Written Guides.
and whatever else you can think of / make!
MASTERLIST!

Two episodes out, so time for updates!
R. Mantle - Father and son for his story with his father. C. Blossom - A mirror for her story. Confirmed by Evan. Check.
K. Keller - A camera and female judge. I don't really follow his plot. Did some emoji play for his story?
F. Fogarty - Knife and lock. It's funny how in his case Evan gave two matching emojis to choose from. Fangs was arrested for possession of a weapon. Check.
T. Tate - We know that she will somehow make time travel. Directly or indirectly. Watches - check.
T. Topaz - Chains and wave. I also don't follow her story, does anyone know if any of this worked?
C. Blossom - A mirror for her story. Confirmed by Evan. Check.
B. Cooper - A woman in a bath for her ability to see people's auras 🤦🏽‍♀️ Confirmed by Evan. Check.
V. Lodge - Red lips and a crown - I think that this has not yet been played out in the plot. Unless I've missed something. I was really inattentively following her story in 6-09.
A. Andrews - Hot emoji and Joker card. I'm pretty sure it's the first one because we're going to see Archie's amazing abs again. But I'll be surprised if that means Archie is a wild card. You know. However, I now thought that Archie may have some kind of plot with the casino. Well we'll see.
F.P. Jones 3 - Magic wand and ghost. I think that there may be a situation like with Fangs. Both emojis overlap. But I'm still on the table with the option that Jughead can just say the word "magic".
Veronica/Reggie, Jughead/Tabitha, Betty/Archie -They each have one explained emoji. I still stick with my initial guesses with the other emojis. Hmm no, wait. A light bulb for JT - I think this may mean an idea that one of them will give to the other. Whatever.
Betty/Tabitha - They didn't have a common plot yet. Maybe in the next episode? My guesses about them have not changed.
Tony/Fangs - moon and ice, Tony/Fangs/Kevin - turkey and baby. I don't follow their storyline. Does anyone know? But the baby is obviously for the story with Baby Anthony.
Bughead - Salt for a glass of water with salt to save Jughead from being poisoned 🤦🏽‍♀️ Check. Open book. It could be about Jughead's book (I'll be really surprised if it gets mentioned again), a case file they're investigating, or Jughead's comics that he'll give Betty to read. It can also be a literal hint that their relationship is not over yet - this is to be continued. Just kidding - it's too complicated for Evan.
Varchie - Poison/antidote and stone. The first will obviously be very specific and contextual. Veronica and Archie haven't started their storyline yet. Stone for palladium - here I'm sure.
Choni - The first ship to be completely deciphered! A bouquet of roses that Abigail gave Toni. And of course the famous butterbeer! Yay! Just in time. Confirmed by Evan. Check.
Tumblr media
I was thinking that Evan also used the geotagging line to write spoilers for the characters and couples. But honestly, I don't want to get into it. However. The cemetery for Bughead, which #some shippers were very excited about, seems to just mean the place where they burnt Abigail? Ok, I'll take it!
I have an extra 15 minutes that I'm going to waste. I mean, I'll decode the emojis from Evan. He graciously suggested his spoiler logic (unbelievable!), having already decoded three clues for us.
So let's go.
We have three deciphered clues. Reggie, Betty and Choni.
Tumblr media
The emoji for Reggie is related to his father. Butter for Choni is the butterbeer that Abigail/Cheryl wanted to drink. The emoji for Betty is the girl in the bathroom - Evan suggested deciphering this as Betty starting to see people's auras.
I'll go all in and guess what the rest of the emojis from Evan mean.
Tumblr media
📸 Kevin will show Baby Anthony photos of his school musicals.
Fangs will cut the steak or he will be put under house arrest.
⏱ Tabitha will set the timer to make the pie.
Tumblr media
⛓ Toni gets arrested or she decorates the bar with chains for a themed party.
🪞 Cheryl is imprisoned in a mirror while Abigail has taken up residence in her body.
Tumblr media
💋 Veronica will do her makeup in front of the mirror. There is a high probability that she will sing at this moment.
🥵 Archie will take off his shirt.
🪄 Jughead will say the word "magic".
Tumblr media
Veronica/Reggie - will eat bacon for breakfast and open a casino.
Jughead/Tabitha - will change the light bulb in the floor lamp and they will drink coffee at Pop's.
Betty/Archie - are under Cheryl's spell and are renovating Archie's house.
Tumblr media
Betty/Tabitha - Betty will call Tabitha an angel and they will meet the cat when they talk on Sketch Alley. Betty will remember Caramel, but not Toffee.
Tony/Fangs - will arrange a night shadowing of The Ghoulies and will serve cocktails at the bar.
Tony/Fangs/Kevin - one of them makes a joke about Thanksgiving and Kevin is already Baby Anthony's nanny.
Tumblr media
Bughead - They will have a conversation about investigating at Pop's and they will make a murder board. But maybe they'll finally talk about Jughead's book. Let me dream here.
Varchie - they learn that the water in the Sweetwater River is poisoned, and the stone obviously means palladium. And here are several options: Archie will be completely powerless in front of Veronica, because she now wears jewelry only from palladium. Or Veronica will hurt both hands while digging Archie out of the mines.
Choni - Blossom's family history will be part of their arc, and of course the famous butterbeer!

These aren't just random names we found in a book or concocted ourselves - they're almost all monikers we've heard being used, or we actually know someone who goes by the name.
