When it became clear he wasn't leaving this town any time soon, Arthur put up an ad for anyone looking to get cheap tattoos. He always kept his tattoo equipment on him, so it was nice to hold on to a familiar hobby in such a wacky Wonderland.

Fan blowing, Arthur reclined in a chair with a beer as he patiently waited for anyone to come by the open garage door. He grinned as his first customer showed up. "If you're looking for tattoos you're in the right place little lady."

          wesley  shakes  his  head  in  mock  disapproval,  like  a  father  scolding  his  child.  ❝that’s  true.  another  arrest  would  be  fatal,  definitely  can’t  have  that  happen.❞  he  can’t  tell  if  she’s  joking  or  not,  but  even  if  she’s  dead  serious,  he’s  not  about  to  judge.  he’s  been  in  trouble  with  the  law  a  few  times  before  over  really  petty  things,  but  he  has  no  record.  wesley  has  come  to  learn  that  money  can  literally  buy  your  way  out  of  anything.  ❝i’d  be  upset  if  we  didn’t!❞  he’s  smiling  widely,  the  alcohol  slowly  but  surely  creeping  up  on  him,  just  happy  to  be  alive  at  the  moment.  he’s  really  talkative  and  outgoing  so  it’s  always  been  easy  for  him  to  make  friends,  but…  it’s  also  been  easy  for  him  to  make  enemies  as  well.  not  that  he’s  upset  over  that  or  anything,  but  he  knows  he  can  be  a  lot  for  some  people.  ❝any  ideas  on  the  adventure  we  can  go  on?  i  have  a  few,  but  maybe  yours  are  better  than  mine.❞

scout blinked in amusement before bursting into laughter. this guy, unlike way too many others that she's met in the past, can actually take a fucking joke; she could tell. " believe me, i thought about it. that'd just be another arrest though and it'd be so inconvenient. " scout wasn't necessarily joking, although her tone sounded like she could've been. scout was certainly no stranger to being violent in the name of fun. laughing, she leaned against the bar, already a few drinks in, and definitely planning on getting wasted. a playful smile crept onto her face, a mischievous glint in her eye, " um, yes! did we just become best friends ? "

just for fun this time during 'sea of blood' I counted out all the venatori corpses I think we can be pretty sure were lucanis' handiwork before we show up (not including the ones he kills in his initial cutscene, and with an assumption that he's been at work mainly up and down in the areas we move through until we find him, not behind the locked door -- I think that's mostly the work of rampaging undead and other venatori-hoisted-by-their-own-petard suchlikes). can thus happily inform you lucanis has killed at least 32 venatori before rook and company get there. at least one of them he's impaled on their own weird crystal spike things the venatori mages cast as an AOE attack and that they're trying to keep him contained with when we find him. so he's clearly been keeping busy lol. that's my boy dispensing poetic justice and claiming some enrichment in his enclosure while he's at it good for him!

Patrick nodded his sympathies. “I kind of miss being normal sometimes.” Magic had brought him Lena and Cooper and Shey, so he’d always love it for that. But he missed dreaming of mechanics and not war. “Well, shit. Looks like we may be stuck here for a bit. Unless we want to try just running into the horizon. But Shey’s not much for endurance.”

scout's mouth pressed together as she thought of the best way to answer that while her niece was still in earshot. she shrugged her shoulders. "so far, but so was I." there had been moments already when scout noticed wonderful and unbelievable things crop up near the girl. something that suggested clementine was more like her aunt than just the attitude. "yeah, the stable didn't have horses either way." she sighed.
