Ode To L’Manberg: My Unfinished Symphony

I’m back with the second work in my series presenting story of L’Manberg as written in my main DSMP au (Symphony of Gods and Dreamers). The lore dumps I have posted about this au can be found under the Zorishy’s Bursona Lore tag.

Sally burned the flag and delivered Fundy’s “You had a dream and I followed it” line

Tubbo escaped the Manberg festival without being executed

Technoblade had no involvement in L’Manberg during this arc, only Pogtopia

Dream also had no involvement in this arc

Dream already had the revival book before the events of the server

Wilbur was badly injured in the explosion of L’Manberg and Phil killed him out of mercy

I JUST THOUGHT OF A HEADCANON FOR DSMP:

So, you know how C! Phil killed C! Wilbur, right? And there were a lot of "But Phil could have tried to talk him out of it and help him get better" which I understand. BUT, I just thought about something:

Phil saw how far gone Wilbur was and how adamant he was about dying and didn't know what to do. He didn't know how to help Wilbur because helping someone that far gone is very complicated and he didn't know how he would be able to help. So, he decided to grant Wilbur's final wish and kill him, and in Phil's mind, he was bringing Wilbur to his mother, The Goddess of Death. Kristin is one of the people Phil can always rely on and he trusted that she would be able to guide Wilbur in the afterlife, and, at the very least, save his soul since Phil didn't know how else to help. He thought that Wilbur and Kristin would be able to talk in the afterlife and Wilbur could heal in a place that isn't chaotic with constant wars. However, he didn't know that the death system was messed with(by DreamXD) to where the members of DSMP are sent to Limbo, not to the Goddess of Death. Phil didn't know this and unknowingly sent his son to what would/should have been an eternity of complete isolation, his own personal hell.

people forget that c!tommy literally was trying to save c!jack's life after he dropped him into the lava which is fucking frustrating not bc c!tommy doing a manslaughter suddenly makes him way more innocent- it’s fucked he did it even if he wasn’t Intending to kill c!jack, this isn’t doing an uwu baby defence thing. but it’s just way more interesting. bc like, c!tommy was so fucked up at that point he genuinely seemed to think causing serious bodily harm to someone wasn’t a big deal if he saved their life afterwards and even when c!Jack did die (which c!tommy did try and stop, like, you can watch his perspective he tries to throw c!Jack stuff to help him he’s just got shitty aim) he still sees it more as something to laugh off than something horrific and traumatic. and that’s a big part of why c!Jack despises c!tommy for it, right? bc not only did he hurt him he tried to act like they were still buddy buddy. and c!jack reasonably assumed that was, like, malicious. like c!tommy was Intentionally fucking with him. but in actuality c!tommy's idea of reality was so warped at that point he genuinely didn’t fully grasp how fucked up it is to hurt your friends for no reason bc that was the mindset he had to adapt to survive in exile. which isn’t to Excuse it at all, it’s an extremely fucked up thing he did no matter what, but the fact c!tommy Wasn’t trying to kill c!jack is kind of like. a big part of why it’s so fucked up. bc he was basically recreating his own abuse onto others while remaining completely oblivious to the fact (something he also does while working with c!techno, this is a Consistent thing he does and something not enough people talk about.)

i love the thought of cphil making cwilbur tea and just having a nice moment of peace together but also in my heart phil is absolutely shit at making tea and so it just tastes like water with the hint of Something that wilbur can never quite identify but it’s warm and kind and he will take his father’s comfort in a shitty tea over anything
