I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!! It's the best logical way the dsmp could've ended AND because it's so open-ended, it leaves a lot of room for the fandom to build on, which isn't something you see a lot in media nowadays.

HOWEVER, it has been really bothering me these past few days since it was released, and I've had complex feelings about it that I haven't really been able to figure out until somewhat recently. Though, this is probably just me lol!

I'm gonna try to make this as short and legible as I can, but as you know I'm so very bad at that so sorry in advance.

Dsmp has been my main source of entertainment and an escape from just life in general since I first started getting into it—which was back in mid-2020 or so, but that was less of dsmp itself and more of the fandom. Though I still really enjoy the content creators content itself, I've watched them less and less and on the occasion that I see a clip or quote by them (especially Tommy) it's SO jarring how much they've changed and matured, and it's only a reminder of how I've done the same. That's the feeling I got when seeing the new lore. Everything has changed, people have matured, relationships have drifted apart, and we are living in the present.

It's like the feeling of finding an old toy that you distinctly remember loving so very much way back then and realizing you feel indifferent to it now. You've changed, your taste of things you enjoy changed, your relationships with people have changed, and you've grown.

I don't want to go back but I don't want to stop reminiscing, and this ending has made me realize that.

Raccoon

You try to quietly scamper away from the door of your hiding spot and hit the back of the cupboard that you're hiding in, causing you to uncontrollably chitter.

The second the sound leaves your body you're freezing. You try to listen for Dream's movements but can't hear as well anymore because of your heartbeat increasing. After some time you start to slowly move closer to the opening again.

"There you are!" The sudden sight and sound of Dream cause you you to scream a bit. He reaches in with both hands, which apparently don't have fingers? and manages to grab you and pull you out.

"Put me down!" You shout as you struggle to try and get out. Dream just chuckles.

"Oh? And why should I do that?" He says as he give you a look that you don't know completely how to describe besides wild. "I was told to just do what I feel I need to."

You chitter a bit again as you end up looking at his eyes. "What? Nothing to say?" He says, as you try to read what else was in his eyes besides crazed.

This is insanity, i am NOT a-okay. ohmygod. theyre getting their hopeful epilogue. theres a chance for them no one ever expected. theyre moving on and living their lives!!!

Any favorite dsmp headcanons? Or any of yours?

I have an entire Google doc dedicated to heacanons that desperately need to be revisited and rewritten so I'm SO HAPPY you asked this!! Though, I'm not sure where I got them because i usually come up with them by something extremely vauge, or something i saw multiple years ago revamped to fit my interpretation of the lore. Of course, I'll only put my favorites, otherwise it'd just be mindless rambling and written works I'm not proud of <3

—Tommy was Aroace and used both He/Him and They/Them pronouns, but prefered masculine pronouns to be used more often.

—After the “Prison Incident,” Tommy suffered slight brain damage, which rendered him unable to perceive depth.

Because of this, Tommy became embarrassingly clumsy. They would constantly bump into door frames, knock cups over, and stand too close to people.

—There was never a day that went by where Tommy didn't gain a new injury. It may have been an odd bruise on his leg or a cut on their face from falling, but he always had something new.

It was rare to see Tommy without bruises or blood staining their face; most of the time, it was just from whacking himself in the face or the near constant nosebleeds he got on a daily basis for no known reason.

—Tommy had an excellent resistance to food poisoning because of how strong his immune system was, thanks to them spending the entirety of their life consuming less than edible things, including: mud, dirt, moss, small rocks, various types of bugs, flowers, unidentifiable berries, bog water, playdough, rain water, blues clues toothpaste, a chunk of the Egg, random mushrooms, old cigarettes, seaweed, puddle water, uncooked meat, Wilbur's cooking, paper, puddle water, grass, bones, battery acid, raw salmon, worms, and occasionally rotten flesh, oddly.

—Due to dying so close to lava when Tommy was resurrected, it reset his normal body temperature to the unnatural warmth, leaving them vulnerable to the cold.

—Upon being revived, Tommy experienced a sensory overload—after being in limbo for over two months where there was no sensory other than the occasional “visit” from another occupant—and, much like his body temperature, his tolerance for touch lowered drastically.

—Because of the magic transferred from the Revival Book to Tommy, as well as the effects of the Blessing (<- a headcanon not yet developed enough to be put into words)—and probably bits of radiation poisoning from hanging out in Tubbo’s lab too often—they glowed a slight purplish hue, really only visible in the dark.

Tommy, simply wanting to cause chaos, had told Beeduo that he swallowed an entire glow-stick and the radiation he got from Tubbo and his workshop had reacted to the liquid inside, and, the best part, they believed him. (They didn't actually believe him, but they together decided against questioning him further, and instead chalked it up as another cryptid feature of his he didn't want to admit.)

—Tommy occasionally worked part-time jobs at Las Nevadas as a waiter or bartender for pocket money to give to Wilbur.

—Tommy had the same voice as Finn from the hit show Adventure Time.

—While Tommy had a wide variety of songs they listened to, he used to only have access to The Able Sisters and animal crossing soundtracks, given that technology and the ability to access other servers universe-wide was still fairly unexplored.

Because of this, on the rare occasion Tommy didn't have his headphones playing, they would often have audible hallucinations of The Able Sisters in the background.

—Tommy had a habit of biting or chewing on whatever was in hand, to provide a sense of comfort and security.

Often he’d hold his communicator just to chew on it, as an attempt to focus the strong emotion that clouded his thoughts into something physical. Or, more often than not, he’d bite his pointer finger and just hold it between his teeth, which would slightly muffle his speech.

Developed from childhood, the sensory stimulation mannerism originated as a coping mechanism for stress or uncertainty, but gradually evolved into a subconscious habit over time.

—Starting in early Logstedshire, Tommy had begun talking to themself both as a way to cope with the isolation and fill the achingly unfamiliar silent atmosphere, and to continue practicing their German, Spanish, Russian, and Dutch, so as not to get rusty with the languages. However, as time progressed, Tommy's quiet comments to himself turned into loud discursive monologues about both everything and nothing, bouncing incomprehensibly between five different languages, often lasting hours.

This habit had persisted even after his solitude had long since ended, meaning, anytime Tommy would get lost in their own head, he would begin to unintelligibly ramble aloud without realizing (much to the disgruntlement of Technoblade and many, many more).

Oftentimes, it worried Tommy, due to the fact this very habit was one of the first few signs of Wilbur’s spiral.

—Despite their insistence about being 6’ 2”, Tommy was at most 5' 11”. He molded an enlarged raccoon paw-print to the bottom of each of his shoes, to not only disguise his footprints, but also to make him appear taller.

The mold doesn't effectively hide his footprints anymore because of his runner blade where his right shoe would be, and when putting the raccoon paw-print next to the elongated groove, it created even more distinct footprints than before. (<- this last part is a tad outdated considering I now have the unwritten design trait of him wearing mismatched shoes, which wouldn't work with a runner blade)

—Tommy had a bad habit of spending days “tabbing out” (canonically dissociating, like seriously i can't make this up) in dark areas with little to no sunlight or light in general—like their house from paranoia, a random cave to gather cobblestone, or the church for praying—enough that they accidentally grew an increased sensitivity to sunlight.

He did this without anyone's knowledge, but Tubbo was usually able to tell by how much Tommy squinted and shielded his eyes when outside.

—Due to how unnatural it was, the use of the Revival Book caused aging in any dimension except Limbo to permanently cease in its victim. For that reason, Tommy remained nineteen even around three years after the ‘Prison Incident’.

Eventually, Tubbo and Ranboo became fully fledged adults with the responsibilities of a child, mansion, and even a nation, yet they still remained in close contact with Tommy despite the difficulties that came with maturing while he stayed the same nineteen year old he was. Even still, he provided a welcomed constant presence in their chaotic lives. (<- I view this as more of a au than an actual headcanon because I like the idea of benchtrio being around the same age)

—Because Tommy learned to stitch sutures before any actual sewing techniques for fabrics, the original L'manburg uniforms—although almost professionally designed with the help of Niki—were very stiff and hard to move around in.

That actually turned out to be most of the headcanons, my bad!!

Opinion on the seemingly divorced cbeeduo?

Very mixed feeling actually!!

Because on one hand, i love it dearly; its an accurate outcome to their marriage had cranboo not already died (skill issue) considering how incomparable they both seemed, how they both refused to get actual help or address their own traumas and instead tried to pull the classic "i love you more than myself and thats okay" (its not okay), and it seems like it was pushed by whoever they found themselves viewing as mentors (namely ctntduo and cTechno) whether that was on purpose or not. It also creates such a fascinating dynamic and i love brainstorming the psychology behind willingly separating for life from the person you thought you mutually loved the most, how they would handle taking care of Michael, and how they would go about their lives without eachother. (take my words with a grain of salt because i really dont know as much about cbeeduo as i wish i did lol, i just ADOORRREEE reading analyses of their relationship and the characters themselves)

On the other hand: OWIE OUCHIE YEOWCH!!!! It's SOOO painful to think about ohmygod dude. They were my last hope for a healthy marriage and we cant even have that. Michael with have to suffer the burdens of a broken marriage until they finally divorce and when they do he'll then have to suffer the burdens of two people who agreed to hate each other co-parenting him. And im not even going to start about how cRanboo and cTubbo with feel about it themselves.

On the other OTHER hand: cclingyduo marriage or calliumduo marriage. However, that would already be possible if cbeeduo stayed together because you could just have a ploycule, which i may like more than just a cclingyduo marriage or calliumduo marriage, im not sure yet!!

Cupid, my platonic beloved, you know i could NEVER ignore such a request. However, ya girl is seriously lacking in drawing worthy headcanons and just good headcanons in general so this is the best i could get, but THANK YOOUUU FOR PROMPTING ME TO TALK MORE ABOUT MY SILLY LITTLE HEADCANONS!!!!!

 —Tommy’s full name was Tommy Kraken Coward Careful Danger Innit, and on government or professional documents it was shortened to Tommy K. C. C. U. Innit. 

    The name ‘Tommy’ was given by Wilbur at their first meeting. Wilbur—even as young and inexperienced in reading people as he was at the time—was able to see the fierce determination to survive that shone in the younger's eyes as he ushered a smaller Tubbo behind him, using his free hand to wield a dirty stick as a make-shift sword; not unlike a soldier.

—Tommy's natural hair color was actually a golden brown—just a few shades lighter than Wilbur’s—but they dyed it to blonde when Tubbo dyed his natural blonde hair to brown. 

   However, he was forced to go back to being a brunette post-exile, mostly due to the fact it was too matted and unhealthy to even try to save, forcing him to get the messiest buzz cut ever.

    They re-dyed it sometime before The Prison Incident but allowed it to grow slightly past his shoulders even after revival and didn't care to deal with the brown roots. The length felt suffocating and claustrophobic, but he found comfort in the familiar feeling; even going as far as to purposefully only do half-up hairstyles. His personal favorite was half-up pigtails.

—Tommy always had, at the very least, five blades hidden in various places on his person at all times, to settle their intense paranoia; even as far as to have a razor blade kept under his tongue.

—Despite their bad experiences with heights, Tommy enjoyed sitting in high places and childishly swinging their legs off the edge. From this Tommy had grown into a very agile climber.

—Contrary to popular belief, Tommy was quite skilled in dealing with kids, so he'd often babysit the younger generation of the server in exchange for things only he found valuable such as mud, cobblestone, trinkets, moss, golden apples, bells of any sort, and cool rocks.

—Tommy found it difficult to tell that they're alive, and would occasionally spend days in a haze until someone reminded him to breathe.

   On those days—the days they felt like a mindless zombie roaming around without purpose, and he could swear he smelled of rot—plants would droop and wilt around him; a side effect of his reeking necromancy.

—Since his resurrection, butterflies have begun to flock Tommy, which left him to constantly wave them away. 

    They suspected it was due to the various flowers they kept sticking out of their pockets. Tommy does this not only because he simply likes picking flowers and collecting them, but also as a habit from war to ward away the rotten smell of the fallen soldiers.

—When they purposefully thought back to it, Tommy found that their memories of Logstedshire were oddly hazy and difficult to differentiate from the others. 

    Although, on the occasion something occurred that reminded him of the unwelcomed remembrances, he’d often undergo an intense PTSD-induced flashback, which acted as a painful reawakening for not only the same overwhelming emotional state they were in all that time ago, but also the physical pain they indured at the time of the traumatic event they "revisited".

—Tommy never cared much for their health more than the basic survival needs up until he met Tubbo and started tending to the goat’s wounds; Tubbo had very little experience with the streets when he had met Tommy, and Tommy felt a primitive obligation to help the older boy. 

    By treating the tiny injuries on Tubbo, most of which he wouldn't look twice at if he were to get them himself, Tommy learned of his natural affinity for first aid.

   Later in life, Niki taught them more complex first aid; and for as long as it took to learn, Tommy was Niki's apprentice in the earlier wars—which proved quite difficult to do considering Tommy had to simultaneously juggle the responsibility of being a young General as well as a military strategist.

—After Exile, Tommy picked up both crocheting and knitting as a coping mechanism and as a way to get used to their prosthetic hand, per Puffy’s request.    

    However, this proved to be difficult because the various explosions in Exile had eventually tore up the palms of his hands enough that they held a constant, involuntary tremble from nerve damage.

  Tommy, being the workaholic they were, would frequently crochet or knit well past the point of their fingers aching.

—Their own hygiene has never been much of a priority for Tommy, and by extension, neither were showers.

   Not only did they frequently forget, because they didn't consider it important enough to remember, but they also found it unbelievably inconvenient, both time wise and because of his scars. Tommy was covered head-to-toe in scars of various types and origins, to the point that they couldn't stand looking at himself even in mirrors, whether it was because they could no longer recognize themself, or because the scars only provided reminders. Most of the scars were so sensitive that even running water over them caused unbearable pain, especially the permanently cold water from their dirt hut. 

    As a solution, Tubbo and Ranboo would check on Tommy every few days to see if they had taken a shower—as well as his well being, but he didn't need to know that—and if he hadn't, they would have the younger come over and gently pressure him into taking a shower on low pressure with the lights off.

—The Godling of Mischief, who preferred the chosen name of ‘Drista’, was a lesser known Godling only ever found in the form of a small pixie, dressed in red, white, and black jester attire with star detailing. 

    Drista resembled a thorn covered doll carved from twisting wood,  with a large wind-up key in her middle back, and doll-like joints that would emit an eerie clicking sound with every jittery motion; her  movements were erratic and twitchy, as if controlled by some unseen force. She has a humanoid figure with digitigrade legs, a second set of arms, eight insectoid wings, and a grotesque face too hard to describe; Drista would often don a porcelain mask that covers her entire face, designed to look like an entirely different face with an glaring expression, painted with stereotypical clown makeup. (<- not too happy with this because the inspiration behind the face is a VERY difficult to explain mask i found on pinterest)

—As an effect of having to take care of Wilbur most of their life, Tommy had grown quite a skill in cooking, enough that they were considered the second best chef on the server, right behind Technoblade's potato dishes.

    Tommy would occasionally even practice baking as well, though, they weren’t as good at it as they were with cooking. Because of this, Tubbo and Ranboo—who both lack the ability of cooking quality food despite both being adults, tax-payers, and parents—would always rely on him to cook the important food when an occasion occurs.

—At some point in late Exile, Dream had taken to carving a crude and messy Glasgow grin into Tommy’s face as a grotesque replica of the mask the older is known so well to wear. There wasn’t much to do about it when it was still healing and delicate enough for the stitches to pop open at even the slightest movement, but as soon as it had completely healed—which was well into his stay with Technoblade—Tommy subconsciously started a habit of scratching it as a way to fidget. Over time it got bad enough that they had managed to scratch a gaping hole through their right cheek, leaving their teeth visible. (<- i totally did made this on the spot for this very post and it needs to be re-done but i have no clue how lolol)

—After Wilbur’s death, Tommy took ownership of his trench coat and adamantly refused to alter the dimensions of it to better fit them.

—Tommy had lingering slight animalistic body language from when he was raised from the age of four to eight by packs of wolves. (<- i wish i could elaborate but I DON'T KNOW HOOOWWWWAUH)

YEAAHHH THE TRIOS ARE COMING TOGETHER IN WAYS I NEVER THOUGHT OF!!!

So, fun fact about me, it's been YEARS since I've watched videos on those game (I've never actually played them), and I can't really remember much of anything so id have to dedicate time to reading about the games from wiki fandom or something before giving ideas.

I do however know that schlatt could be Tubbo's dad as a replacement for his mom, not only because people usually associate him as his father anyways, but also the whole emotionally unavailable thing and alcoholic thing. But I'm not sure if that's too predictable or not, and if theres another character from one of the games that has a personality more similar to schlatt or not sooo..

Also since repeating characters is something neither of us really want, Clara and Mia are going to have to be someone else other than Ranboo. Maybe Niki?

We also have to consider how different each of their ages are when the games take place

Cupid, this is SUCH a good ask so I'm going to give you multiple answers (I'm also going to pretend you said design aspects lol).

Generally I LOOVEE when people over-exaggerate the design of non-human dsmp members. Like giving c!Phil bird feet and a tail and winged ears, or making c!Ranboo asymmetrical features and changing their design enough that you can't even tell it started as half enderman half something else, or making c!Purpled actually look like an alien rather than just sticking purple entennas on him, ect ect ect.

I also will forever adore when people make scars really prominent and realistic, but as someone who's tried drawing scars before I can see why people don't do it often.

Even though MY c!Tommy will generally be a deer hybrid, raccoon hybrid, demon/imp hybrid, or a plain human trying to fit in (though currently I'm more focused on those last two), I LOOVEVVE it SO MUCH when people make c!Tommy a unique hybrid (a hybrid people don't usually use for him) and actually stick with it, y'know? Honorable mentions to you and your adorable dogger c!Tommy, and @/possuminnit with their possum c!Tommy!!

And finally, a few small details that I always love to see: Curly hair, hair noticeably dyed blonde, raccoon tail key chain, flowers hanging out of his front pockets, hair in half-up pigtails (or just pigtails), big noses, big angry eyebrows (its semi-true to his minecraft skin and also unbearably funny), angel fang piercings (this has been my guilty pleasure for years and i never considered adding it to c!Tommy's design until I saw art of someone else who it), braces (specifically star-shaped), a broken horn, wonky teeth, a brown leather jacket/trench coat, and that's all I can remember.

Cupid, you are severely underestimating how difficult that is that is for me because I have a tendency to filter what I see, and when i come across something that tics me off just enough I'll either ignore it or just block the account; as it sits I have sixteen accounts blocked and i only recently learned about that feature.

So i don't really come across any headcanons that I don't like unless it's the occasional headcanon someone made to obnoxiously and uncharacteristically woobify cDream or something along those lines, but even those don't linger long enough for me to remember them unfortunately! (or fortunately, depends on how you look at it)

HEYO CUPID!!!!! So, funny story, I wrote up a whole thing responding to your ask of how I've been doing and when I went to save it in drafts it just deleted it?? After telling me it's in drafts???? Very Annoying.

Anywho, I haven't been the best because life has been doin' that silly little thing it does where it feels like everyday is a repeat of the day before in the same mind-numbing loop.

However I've been keeping (mostly) sane by sorting pictures from tumblr and pinterest into detailed folders on my desktop for cTommy's design. It's not really something i can show off which is pretty lame, but it's all I got for making a solid design since it's very difficult to figure out a way it can be written and I can't draw for the life of me.

I'm gonna have to go with superhero aus and crossover aus (i cant for the life of me remember what they're called right now). if I'm being Specific, the superhero aus where 3/4 Sbi are villains/heros and Tommy's a civillian and crossover aus where cTommy gets sent to another universe to heal; I don't CARE that they're basic!!

If I'm being really specific, an au that I've only ever seen be done once (in a fic that is now one of my all time favorites even though it was discontinued) where those aus were MIXED. So that's my favorite!
