His expression turned a bit sheepish as he ran a hand through his hair. "Listen, I uh, wanted to talk to you professionally for a moment if that's alright."

Will had been thinking a lot about his conversation with Cole. About what it meant to represent the Sons. About who the fuck he even wanted to be. He was thinking a lot about his 20 year old prospect self, so certain about this path and now at 38 he felt like there was few things he was actually certain about these days. But his dedication to this club, namely to Nate and Cole's leadership, was undeniable. And that was becoming clearer to him every day. So he thought he'd tried to move forward in that way, which meant taking a bit more responsibility for showing the prospects what this club was all about. Which was why he made it a point to find Malcolm at the clubhouse as soon as he was done with his work for the morning. "Hey Cohen, you doing anything? Who am I kidding, prospects never have anything to do until they have something to do," he told him with a laugh, crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned against the doorway. "You're hanging with me today, got a couple things I need to do and figure now's as good a time as any to have you help out. Important question though and answer honestly: you eat anything today?" @malcohen

"Um hey, do you have the new Arlo Parks on vinyl by any chance?" Beckett cleared his throat but still spoke softly to Malcolm at the counter. If there was any routine he kept consistent with it was collecting music. Who needed therapy when you had Nadine's plastic surgeon and a killer vinyl collection? When Beckett was lost in his head, music was one of the few things next to Reed that could actually pull him out or help him sit with it. So he was at Trax at least once a week and still hadn't managed to not be nervous about it every time. Interacting with people outside of his three friends had always been difficult for him because he never quite knew how he was being perceived. "Have you heard it by any chance? I heard it's really good," he added in an attempt to not be totally boring. "Any other recommendations, I think I uh, have space to buy one or two more." @malcolmhclland

The second thing that crossed Lou's mind was: I hope they continue to do so and give me an excuse to get rid of her.

Lou wants two simple things, really: Her family back and some control over her own life.

The way King Poseidon reddened in anger at the letter he got in reply the first time had been glorious, if Alabaster had to be frank.

If only it hadn't been overshadowed by Perseus still writhing with agony in his sickbed and Alabaster's life being on the line.

Defeated in war and sent to a foreign kingdom against his will, Alabaster has to navigate a foreign court with the unwanted company of Prince Perseus and Princess Annabeth. One problem: Someone tried to kill Percy and Alabaster is the main culprit.

Alabaster hopes the frigid air does flay his skin off. Better him due to the freezing wind than Ethan and Poseidon’s head guard.

Drowning in guilt, Alabaster finds a perfect way to take it out on himself. Percy and Annabeth are left to pick up the pieces.

Tales of Epirus

They had been holding out their own pretty well in the war, or so Lou had thought. Until Alabaster's letters home started only being addressed to their mother, until they got less and less frequent and their mother started preparing for surrender.

The worst part? It wasn't enough the occupiers stripped the palace of anything valuable. They demanded Lou's brother, too.

Lou Ellen was never supposed to be the queen, much less a puppet one. Alabaster was supposed to rule, not be torn apart from his crown and family.

“You will serve as an example of what fate awaits Atlantis’ enemies,” King Poseidon explains as Alabaster is dragged out of his cell, only to be shoved down to his knees before him. “While I understand that even former princes have their pride, it is my son’s wedding. This would be easier on both of us if you behaved civilly. Surely losing your crown does not mean you’ve lost your etiquette?”

Alabaster bares his teeth in an approximation of a smile. “Don’t talk to me about etiquette when you and your heir presumptive learned yours on the seas, amongst drinkers and whoremongers.”

Poseidon’s face grows dark with fury.

Stripped of his crown and made a political hostage, Alabaster's survival now entirely depends on the goodwill of Prince Perseus and Annabeth. Thing is, he's not quite sure if living is worth it. // or: how i imagine these three fuckers come to the arrangement they have in river's AU

"Heavy Harry looks like its about to go postal"

So goes one of the comments under this cartoon by John Draper for the SAR 520 Restoration SteamRanger group.

Going postal would not be too out of character for Heavy Harry, he is very easily angered; '01 for her part looks incredibly outraged, like actually personally offended.

For her part, R761 just looks confused as hell.

As a Victorian gunzel I had a good laugh, just cause seeing my bitter boy in a cartoon, even in a sardonic one is always a hoot. I appreciate the backhanded acknowledgement of both Harry and the Rs being representative of our state's flagship locos alongside '01. It hits just right.

I gotta say, this is one of the strangest comments I have ever seen:

In 1881 he was enjoying the simple life and even fell in love until he realized the school was in danger of burning down putting students in danger.
