“Did you just say ‘fuck you’?” (jakurai to jyushi)

It felt... dangerous. Saying that kind of word was a whole new level of edge and attitude that Jyushi hadn't been sure he was ready for or not. He'd just wanted to try it once, to find out what it would sound like -- how it would make him feel to utter pure vulgarity. He'd gone so far as to cover Amanda's ears as he did so, not wanting her to be disappointed in him if it turned out to not be a good idea after all.

He hadn't taken into account that Jakurai would hear him, but he was harder to disappoint... right? Jyushi could only hope that was the case as he heard that familiar voice interrupting the otherwise silent space around him -- nearly making the younger man jump out of his skin, startled by having an audience. He was quiet for a moment, then nodded slowly, his strong voice falling to his more casual whine as he fixed his eyes on the watchful blues of the doctor.

"I was testing out things to say in the next battle... Some of the comments online say that we aren't strong enough because we're too good to keep up with the other divisions." Wasn't that the whole reason they stood out? Training to better themselves? Looking out for the underdog? The power of the underworld? Well... that last one would probably allow him to use some naughty language but that didn't mean he had to use it. He'd come so far without it already.

"I don't think I'll use it in battle, though. It didn't feel too good to say it out loud."

The night had been going well. He'd been comfortable, happy, and hadn't missed a single cue! The entire performance had been an incredible experience -- and he was sure the audience had felt the same way. Of course something would happen to throw his calm (yet hyped) mood into the trash. Jyushi glanced to either side in search of a familiar face to hide behind and tightened his hold on his drink after realizing there weren't any within sight.

"Worry not, darling beauty!" He forced out from behind his vanity-driven facade. He could only imagine that they were concerned that he was drinking something alcoholic while he was still underage. What better way to settle their nerves (and, in turn, his own...) than by reassuring them that he knew exactly what was in the glass? "Yours truly may be under the legal drinking age, but I can promise you there's not a single drop of alcohol in this fruity concoction."

"Mm?" Kihoon's head lifted, the surface of the bar stuck to pale skin as he watched the gaudy man pick up his drink after a long performance. Tilting his head, long strands of hair stuck to sweaty skin, his voice higher with the wig on. "I wouldn't drink tha'."

Notes: I changed some “happy birthday” considerating the character who says it to gave them different feelings. If there are any mistakes, feel free to tell me. Oh, and don’t take me wrong for Jyushi’s crybaby mode! I just didn’t know how to call it...

Anyways, this is the first year Doppo doesn’t greet me on my BD login! I had April Fools’ Jyushi on my main page the 12th. But it’s okay! Thanks Jyushi (´｡• ᵕ •｡`)

maybe jiro/jyushi a bit? they seem like they would be adorable together and i love them as friends i want them to see them go guitar shopping together but by the time dhbat came out i was already too attached to the idea of jiro/nemu to be moved (and once dhbat came out became more attached to kuko/jyushi anyway)

so lol, i kinda and finally listened to the jyushi and hitoya drama track that came with noctiluna (i am working lol) and it was adorable lol, jyushi and hitoya rode their bikes out to the sea and had a lovely time 🤗

and so i’m sure hearing that the jyushi hitoya drama track was them going to the ocean immediately set off a lot of alarm bells, ik it did for me LOL but the track also went out of its way to explain that jyushi had wanted to go with kuukou as well, but he was mysteriously unavailable, much to jyushi slight frustration, and y’all gotta understand that the second round of manga drama tracks have hinted at developments that happened in this current track drop i’m so terrified the bat drama track might have something to do with the ocean bro 😭😭😭

i think i used to me more comfortable drawing ppl facing right (our right) but jyushi conditioned me to change bc otherwise it'd just be a face full of HAIR

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw

IDIA SHROUD's flaming hair gives me a headache... also jiro's curtain bangs pained me everytime back when i drew him 24/7... not a big hair fan in general sdjfnsdof

5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself

to be honest probs about 85% ends up on here... the only things i don't make public are like, commissions/gifts, twenty second doodles and self ship LOL so if i ever haven't posted in a while its a safe bet that i haven't been drawing much at all ><;
