Tasuku: The director asked me to carry you here since you slept under the kotatsu until evening.

Hisoka: But I didn’t feel cold even when I got out of the kotatsu… Could it be because of Tasuku’s body temperature? 

Tasuku: Maybe my body temperature is a little high. More muscle mass raises the body temperature. 

Hisoka: Your back is all muscle but feels warm and nice. 

Hisoka: Tasuku could carry me and keep me warm no matter where I fell asleep. A self-moving kotatsu perfect for winter. 

Tasuku: Who are you calling a moving kotatsu? Don’t assume I’m going to carry you everywhere on my back. Just wake up and walk for yourself.

Hey, same person who told you which A3! VAs can rap, again. TY for the Azami card translation. I noticed your help for some feedback. All I can say is that there is a manga turned into anime called “Kono Oto Tomare!” where it’s about a bunch of students learning to play the koto in a high school club. Interesting note, TWST’s Ortho’s VA sang the 2 openings of the anime called “Tone” & “Harmony.”

Though from what I researched about the koto through the internet & youtube, the standard koto is usually a 13-string instrument from the zither family originating from the Chinese zheng & se, but there are also 17-string kotos (which are called bass koto for having lower sound) & multi-string kotos (mostly up to 30 strings for solos that need a lot of notes to play). Koto players pluck the string with certain finger picks (called “tsume”) on the thumb, index finger, & middle finger of their right hand only & pluck the strings on the right side of the bridges, though most notes are played with the thumb. Players can change the tune of each string by moving the white bridges under the string. The traditional Japanese music sheet for the koto is mostly Japanese kanji numbers in boxes representing the duration of the note in a given measure. (Ex. a 七 kanji in a box means to play the 7th koto string in the length of a quarter note.) One of the koto music pieces some learn to play is “さくらさくら” though some of the advance players can play other songs from traditional pieces to koto renditions of pop-culture songs like Kimetsu no Yaiba’s opening “紅蓮華” & some can play solo or in groups, hence there are some music arrangements where it could feat. all 13-string kotos in one ensemble or one ensemble that includes a 17-string koto.

Hello! Oh, I've heard about that anime. This could be a good time to watch it.

"Pluck" seems to be the word I was looking for. The verb used to explain how to make a sound is 押す (press/push). I used "press", but it didn't feel right. I'll check a bit more that line. This was very helpful, thank you!! (´｡• ᵕ •｡`)

I forgot to mention in the Azami card story that the internet says “Heian Period” instead of “Heian Era”to refer a part in Japanese history.

What are the subjects?  Azami: There are various related to culture, art, and PE. You can do practical activities too. Izumi: I see~.  Izumi: Since all the grades are combined, does that mean you two can take the same class?  Kumon: What! You’re SO right! I didn’t think about that!  Azami: That’s true…  Kumon: Hey, so which class are you choosing, Azami?  Azami: …That’s a secret.  Kumon: Eh~! Why?!  Azami: It won’t be fun if I just tell you. …Thanks, I finished.  Kumon: What, already? You eat so fast!  Azami: That’s because you’ve been talking all the time. Citron: From the festival where you’re going to perform?!  Tsumugi: Oh, yeah, Hisoka is performing there too. He will get a marshmallow assortment for that…  Itaru: That’s right. I heard there’s a marshmallow stand, so I’m checking what else will be there.  Citron: Since it’s a festival, there must be a soothing salary and a goldfish scooping stand!  Tsumugi: Ahm, do you mean shooting gallery?  Itaru: A soothing salary is the comfort of company slaves.  Tsumugi: Ahaha…  Tsumugi: There has to be goldfish scooping at a Goldfish Festival, but does it have other exclusive stands?  Itaru: Something unique besides the marshmallow stand… Itaru: …Fufu.  Tsumugi: Itaru-kun?  Citron: What is it?  Itaru: Sorry. The enigmatic delicacy is attractive to the viewers!  Itaru: Absolutely.  Citron: By the way, they say fy~ at the end of their lines. I heard many people are into the contrast with realistic avatars.  Tsumugi: Heh, a talking goldfish sounds interesting. But why a goldfish?  Citron: I don’t know… but I can sense an intense fixation for goldfishes from them.  Itaru: That’s a bit uncommon. In the basic course, you draw the body pattern, eyes, and mouth in a pre-made goldfish body to complete it…  Owner-manager: But in the full course, you start by making the structure of the goldfish body.  Itaru: I understand. So what do you want to do, Citron?  Citron: I wanted to do it from zero but I’ll take the basic course for now!  Citron: No matter the course, I’ll create a goldfish that lives up to that vtalent!  Itaru: Where did you get that enthusiasm…?  Itaru: Whatever. Then, two basic courses, please?  Owner-manager: On it! 

Owner-manager: First, start drawing the fin pattern and its scales.  Owner-manager: After that, the eyes. You can use these stickers here, and later draw more things on it.  Itaru: What do you mean by drawing more things on it?  Owner-manager: You can add eyelashes or make the iris bigger. Some kinds have compound eyes. It’s up to you how to make them.  Citron: We’ll do our best!  Itaru: Then I want to do it like one of the sample lanterns.  Citron: … Itaru: (The scales should be like this. Citron’s ones…) Citron: Starting with the waves… and spirals here!  Itaru: Eh, that pattern is completely different from the ones in a goldfish. Are you sure?  Citron: Yes, it’s all fine! Notes: Citron says 社畜 (company slave), instead of 射的 (shooting gallery) to which Itaru replies something like “Not the company slaves mention…”

When Itaru says Goldfie Jr, he means that Citron’s lantern might have a similar style to Citron Jr (a doll made by Citron).

The owner-manager refers to Itaru and Citron by お兄ちゃん (onii-chan). 

Goldfie uses 僕. So there’s a good chance they’re a guy.

Hey, same person who told you which A3! VAs can rap, again. TY for the recent Hisoka translation. It’s interesting that the setting is at a festival feat. “goldfishes.” Though I’m not sure how TWST’s Riddle would react to a “goldfish” festival and/or at someone who told him about it & I mean Floyd. Also after doing some Internet research, the goldfish-shaped lantern that Hisoka (& I think Itaru in his card as well) was holding is an actual lantern craft mostly seen in the town of Yanai in Yamaguchi Prefecture where the city celebrates in a lantern festival showcasing the goldfish-shaped lanterns. Moreover, the goldfish-shaped lantern was created by a Yanai local inspired from the Neputa Festival in Aomori.

In Fragaria Memories, there’s a new MV where all the cast members sing together called “Bouquet of Wishes.” Speaking of musics, you can listen to the cast solo versions of “EVER RED,” “青空のメモリー,” & “ALL SO BAD.” For example, you can listen to the solo version of “ALL SO BAD” by Juza’s VA and/or Kumon’s VA.

In BLACKSTAR, the current event has Saki(the heroine) going on vacation w/ TeamW & there will be another event where Saki goes on vacation w/ TeamK. Also, the TeamW cards are way too sexy & based on the preview, TeamK’s will be sexy, too.

Also in TWST, do remember to get the free 10-fold key on Ortho’s B-day in JPN time. And this is optional, but before you read the Main Story Octavinelle’s dreams Ch., listen to A3!’s “The Contract” ‘cause the song sometimes helped others before fighting the Overblot battle in the Octavinelle Ch.

I'm pretty sure Floyd would jokingly tell Riddle that they should go to that festival. This was my first time hearing about this festival. I'm very curious about the play, sadly I couldn't get Tsuzuru's card.

They have solo versions? That's so cool. I have to listen to them.

I saw your post on 18trip’s Nagi’s B-day, & I just look up any info on the multimedia project. It’s interesting that it has a travel & tourism motif & you can choose the gender for the MC (similar to the MC gender choice in Mahoutsukai no Yakusoku). I also looked up the cast for the 18trip charas, which feat. VAs familiar & new to me. Interestingly, if you choose the MC’s gender to male & pair it with the childhood friend chara Kafka Oguro, then this becomes another Reki-Langa VA situation. But if you pair the male MC chara w/ the chara Renga Nishizono, then the VA pair would be Fragaria Memories Noir Bouquet Arupek & Chaco.

Change of pace, I was wondering if you have the Azami SSR card where he’s dressed up as a man in the Heian Period ‘cause I heard you need to get that through event points.

Also, Paradox Live released a teaser on a new tournament where the groups are split into two teams where one team’s group battles another team’s group.

From the response on the BLACKSTAR info, do you think Aogiri has a similar aura to A3’s Azuma (though I did say that TeamC has Winter Troupe’s adult vibe & I just noticed that Aogiri’s hairstyle is similar to A3!’s Azuma)?

Unrelated, if you were to assign the A3! charas into TWST’s NRC dorms, which chara would be in which dorm?

Hi. Yeah, it's so cool you can choose the he MC gender. They're are fully voiced in the main story too. My first thought when I heard the male MC was "Kumon?!" (ーvー;). But you're so right about the pairs!

Yes, I have it. I don't think I have read the story yet, but I can translate it after I finish Goldfish Festival Itaru's card.

Maybe a little, but Aogiri feels... like he's tired? Maybe is because of his eyes.

Now for the dorms question... (-answer under the cut-)

I tried to sort them according to the dorm spirit and, sometimes, their vibes. 

But I think some of them could fit in other rooms: · Guy -> Ignihyde · Hisoka -> Diasomnia · Chikage -> Octavinelle · Tsuzuru -> Heartslabyul · Tasuku -> Ignihyde

An odd one could be Octavinelle Hisoka, but hear me out. He’s observant, empathetic, and capricious, traits akin to Octavinelle. He is also willing to help with anything you say if you pay the price (marshmallows). Looks wise, Diasomnia's uniform fits him better.

I placed Tsuzuru in Heartslabyul at first, but I thought about the great dedication he puts into all his works, his creativity, and his long nights working, that gave me some Ignihyde's vibes.

Tsuzuru: That’s nice to hear, but that’s pretty much because of the base script from the Goldfish Festival organizer.  Tsuzuru: The story adaptation went smoothly thanks to it.  Izumi: I’m glad the theme was easy to write. Answering your question BLACKSTAR question, Hinata & Aogiri are the newest members in Theater Starless that appeared in S5CH5 & became understudies. Hinata(VA is Daiki Yamashita) was invite by Starless’s old owner, Iwami, & got to join his favorite team, TeamB. Aogiri(VA is Taku Yashiro & singing VA is SHIN) went & hoped to be Starless’s designer, where Mokuren liked Aogiri’s designs, both Aogiri’s initial designs & test designs after listening to a demo song, & invited Aogiri to join TeamC as a performer & singer (Mokuren also named him Aogiri due to Starless’s rule on never revealing their true name).

However, both of the new characters are a bit suspicious due to Heath noticing their “color” where Hinata’s is a bit suspicious(not much detail was explained) & Aogiri’s is a strange “color with no light” that Heath doesn’t like; Hinata’s phone call towards the end of S5Ch5 of wanting to kick out Heath despite being a big fan of Heath; Heath made a phone call w/ a number received by Gui’s Master where he was warned that somebody dangerous was nearby; Sotetsu’s research on Aogiri noticing that Aogiri wasn’t involved in performing; & at the end of S5, Aogiri wants to help Saki(the heroine) “remember” something but it actually caused her pain.

Though for a tiny bit of unrelated info, Hinata’s least fave food are veggies except for french fries & Aogiri’s least fave food is mayonnaise. Irony is that Hinata got his looks compared to TWST Vil from the youtube comments & Aogiri would fit Pommefiore due to his interest in design & his least fave food being similar to Vil.

Change of pace in A3!, somebody already completed the Chess event translation feat. Azami. Quick questions, do players get the Azami SSR through event points & if you have that card, do you want to translate it since I haven’t seen anyone working on it yet (of course I’m not requesting it ‘cause I don’t want to increase anybody’s workload)?

Also, I’m sorry for not announcing any chara B-days ‘cause it could get tedious to others when they don’t respond for a long time. Hey, same person who told you which A3! VAs can rap, again. It has been a while since you posted, but I’m glad that you are fine & loved your recent Hisoka translation.

However, I don’t want to be this 1 person to tell you after a long hiatus in posting, but I noticed 4 things on your recent translation: 1. Member of a troupe:…were about to throw if there was… Should this area be “throw away”? 2. Member of a troupe: I’ll let them here, then. I think the word “let” is supposed to be “leave” ‘cause you’re using future tense with the word “I’ll.”3. Chikage:…Quit complaining and come to help. I think the phrase “come help us” sounds natural to an English speaker. 4. Izumi: (I was who suggested it… Should this area be (I was “the one”who suggested it…?

Also, it’s a good thing somebody else is translating a Hisoka focused event story.

In TWST, so far Idia woke up from his dream thanks to Ortho (but only within the dreamworld) and created a plan to defeat Malleus and wake everybody up from an eternal slumber. The plan: Yuu, Grim, Silver, Sebek, and Ortho w/ Idia’s tablet travel across the dreamworld through Silver’s unique magic (Meet in a Dream), wake up the dream’s owner, inform them on how to beat Malleus, & give them an “invitation/cheat code” which transport them to the battle location for everyone to meet. In Idia’s words, the main traveling party members must go on a dreamworld journey to gather people to defeat the Demon King. So far, the Pommefiore & Scarabia dorm members know the situation.

In BLACKSTAR, TeamB & TeamC had a June Bride versus w/ TeamB winning the versus w/ their song “Armageddon” based on a story called “The Bride of Messina” against TeamC’s song “Blanche” based on Shakespeare’s “Othello.” However, both Mizuki & Mokuren did not like their original stories’ endings, so they changed them into happy endings, hence 2 versions each of their songs. After that, another June Bride event where the top members of each teams performed the first June Bride performance “Fragile Lake” again, which is based on “The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter,” “Swan Lake,” & “Giselle.” And then, TeamP performed a Tanabata performance by kradness called “星渡りの帰り道” which could be based on “The Little Prince” due to the CD cover. Currently, Aogiri’s singer SHIN sang a cover of TeamP’s song “黎明は待たない” and after checking Twitter, the story is that Kei ordered Hinata & Aogiri to practice & learn in TeamP & TeamW. Though thinking about it, the members being in & switching into different teams, past & present, are Mizuki(P to B), Mokuren(W to C), Ginsei(1st member, P to K, used to be in 2 teams simultaneously), Sotetsu (P to K), Yoshino (P to K), Gui (P to K, helped B), Yakou (P to K), Akira (1st member, is W’s singer & B’s understudy), Takami (in W, helped K), Menou(1st member, W to P), Nekome(1st member, W to P before Starless’s renewal), Lico(K to B), Qu(P to C), Zakuro(temporarily in K as a “performer”, joined C ‘cause he wants to be a “singer”), & Kasumi(joined Starless after TeamP’s formation, W to C, recently helped W).

But, why don’t you just stay awake?  Hisoka: …The winter troupe will drink together and have a chess tournament tonight.  Hisoka: I’m sleeping now because of that.  Izumi: (But you’re always sleeping, Hisoka-san.)  Izumi: Is the chess tournament for your role study? Hisoka: …I’m home. Izumi: Welcome back, Hisoka-san. Izumi: Where did you go… I guess I don’t have to ask. Those bags tell me everything.  Hisoka: Some marshmallows are refrigerated and delicious.
