Luce loved a good wine tasting, and with this one paired with a charcuterie option too, it seemed too good to pass up. The thing was though, it was labelled for pairs, and sure she could try it on her own, but then she may need to be wheeled away after having too much wine and cheese. Taking a chance, she went over to a person nearby and tapped their shoulder. "In risking feeling totally awkward for the sake of cheeses, would you maybe wanna share the two persons tasting option?"

Normally he would have flown down and found a spot to quickly change out of his suit before he went to find Lois, but he could hardly wait a second longer. As soon as he was back on Earth, he followed the familiar sound of her heartbeat to her apartment window and gave it a brisk knock. Deciding not to wait before opening it up himself, even as he heard her foot steps as she approached the window. “Lois! Don’t worry, it’s just me.” He didn’t have the faintest idea how long it had been on Earth. Saving planets off-world always had that risk but she looked the same as she did the day that he left. Just as beautiful and angry as she’d been when he told her. “I missed you. So much.” He said to her as though it helped at all. “Can I come in?”

Carter watched the man as he spoke and he figured that maybe they understood each other a bit better than he realized, considering Carter felt the same way about feeling like everything needed to be perfect.
“Unfortunately, I get what you mean. I don’t have much of a choice in leaving that. I make good money though and I have to look professional so I dress how I want. Maybe you could take some fashion advice.”

"Yeah, fancy pants. That's you." A smile tugged at Clark's lips at the humor of the nickname (and maybe some older brother shenanigans in it slipping out). He felt as if nicknames were a rite of passage with his own name, but it was certainly free game for him to give anyone else a nickname. "I'm usually forced to wear the fancy suits shoes while standing so straight you'd think a pole was shoved up my ass. And we can't forget that everything needs to be perfect, or I'm going to fuck up the whole family. We have a real fun time." He might've talked more than he needed, but if the talk of shoes wasn't going to have Carter second guessing why he was speaking to him, this might just do it. || @clarkxhale

Clark Kent faces about a hundred ethical dilemmas a day, but the one he'll never get used to is accidentally finding out that someone-- sometimes random strangers, sometimes his close friends-- has a serious health condition with x-ray vision, smell, or his hearing and having to figure if he should tell them, and how.

Eden: lol dont worry i will Eden: dragons are cool! I'll be honest, I've been toying with the idea of adding them to it! Eden: I've been reading and watching too much about dragons lately @clarkxhale
Clark: Well whenever you want to attempt just let me know. Clark: Those sound like some pretty fantasy like things. I'm sure it's good. You should include dragons too. Clark: Dragons are cool. @edenxoconnell

She knew of Clark. Eva had researched private investigators in her past, in fact she was absolutely sure her whole family had used to services of a private investigators —only the best of the best, of course. They wouldn't be who they were, without a whole team of protectors. After all, it was her father who told her from a young age, that people dreamed and reached their whole life to have the life they did. It certainly had its downfalls — being on everyone's wish list.
She could recall that it was a close co-worker of his that she chose to work with, in the end. "I just need to charge my phone." she spoke, motioning lightly with her chin to the outlet on his side.
Tumblr media
They've only talked on the phone, but she remembered his voice — besides, she did a quick google check — his picture popping out almost instantly. Her mind was a store room the size of Greenland; nothing ever got lost, nothing ever disappeared without a trace.
location: coffee shop, bar, anywhere public.
Tumblr media
"Are you my two pm or are you just trying to grab an empty seat?" Clark always met new clients in public, never trusting anyone to be who they say they are, or not have an ulterior motive. It wouldn't be the first time he'd been punched by the ex-spouse of a client for pulling the rug out from underneath of their many infidelities, or for information provided by those who had paid for his private investigation services. Any sensitive information that needed to be passed on would always be done in a secure way, but until he felt like he could trust the person to, at the very least, not throw punches, they didn't get the honour of his offices address. Of course, some clients found their way there themselves, however if aligned through the usual means then this was how it worked.

We've seen DP and DC be different universes where Danny and Valerie are the only heroes in DP, but there are thousands of heroes in DC. We've seen where DP and DC are in the same universe, and Amity Park just thinks the Justice League are ignoring them.
But what if DP and DC are different universes, BUT Danny and Val aren't the only heroes?
If we treat superheroes as basically cops/military with superpowers, then we can infer what heroes would be like using cop/military statistics. You could even use My Hero Academia society as a basis. Things like "heroes are more interested in protecting private property than serving the public" and "Heroes have high levels of PTSD and physical disability and aren't helped after they retire" are common knowledge in Danny's universe.
And specifically, the one I wanted to make clear for this prompt: In Danny's universe, heroes are highly likely to abuse their family/sidekicks outside the mask.
Suddenly, Danny's in the DC universe. For a low-stakes reason; if he's there because the DP universe imploded or his parents tried to kill him, he'd be too concerned about himself to act on his instincts. No, Danny's there for a vacation and there are so many heroes and kid heroes that he feels sick.
Maybe he catches Batman being rough with his kids, or overhears Superman "belittling" Superboy (Conner). Nevertheless...
Danny ends up thinking that all the Justice League are abusing their sidekicks and families and becomes a villain to save them.

the all new batman: the brave and the bold #1
[ID: several cropped internal narration boxes from Batman between different panels of him and Superman. Together the boxes all read, ‘Other than Robin and Alfred, Superman is my best friend. Some people are surprised by that. Because our styles are so different, people assume we wouldn't get along. But they're missing the point. When I'm with someone like Green Arrow, we're so similar that we feel like we have to compete. But Superman and I have different strengths. We complement each other.’
The first panel, underneath the first narration box, is Batman and Superman shown from the shoulders up as they both smile. Clark proposes, “How about this—I'll explain any Kryptonian customs. You analyze the clues.” Bruce adds on, “And we'll watch each other's backs.” Clark responds, “It's what we do.” The second panel, after three narration boxes, is Batman diving to knock Superman out of the way of a fatal blast. The third and fourth panels, after the last narration box, is after Batman solved the Kryptonian mystery and Superman just saved Bruce's life too. Bruce thanks him for the save, leading Clark to simply dismiss, “No problem. It's what we do,” as he puts his shirt back on. Bruce tells him, “Yes. It is. I suppose this means that, even without powers, you're still Superman.” Clark grins and responds, “And that you're another world's greatest detective.” Bruce quietly grunts at the compliment and tells him, “Let's get out of here.” END ID]
