🔥Junho: the leader of F!NVL!! is feared by most of the industry due to his no-nonsense attitude & decorated history in kickboxing. deeply cares about his group members and is quick to defend them.

🧸Hanyoung: the most sensitive member of F!NVL. always quick to comfort hurting fans or fellow members, and does everything in his power to make sure others feel loved.

🧚‍♂️Saebom: a relatively quiet member who CANNOT BE CONTAINED INDOORS. loves cycling, running, rock climbing, swimming, and any other outdoor excercise more than anything.

🐈Minhyun: a korean-american who grew up on grunge-rock and anime. an extreme introvert who sometimes struggles with the inherent flashiness of the idol industry. references memes at every given opportunity.

🐣Chiaki: the youngest & only japanese member of F!NVL! despite his harmless appearance, chiaki spends most of his free time on social media keeping up with gossip and occasionally stirring the pot when he gets bored.

🦈Sanghyun: the leader of DIRE-X!! an extremely laid back guy with interests in swimming, surfing, and aquariums, but knows how to take charge as a leader when necessary.

🦅Chaebin: the most level-headed and professional of the group. works as a part time model & actor on top of being an idol. gives the best advice & LOVES doting on the younger members of the group.

🎀Taeheon: fun, flirty, caring, and cool, as expected of someone nicknamed "the nation's boyfriend" 😎 cares deeply about others, but sometimes struggles with how to express it outside of his idol persona. has a BIG crush on a F!NVL member.

🐹Hiro: a very earnest japanese member who takes every word of praise he receives to heart, and cherishes it deeply!! a momma's boy with a LOT of hobbies, including body-building, baking, gardening, and art!

🦢Kwangmin: ZERO-TOLERANCE FOR FANSERVICE. will NOT act cute for you, will NOT smile for photos, will NOT take a selfie with your phone. will throw your phone across a stadium if tried.

���Minsoo: a bombastically charming and extroverted korean-american who tries to make friends with anything that moves. fantastic at networking & socializing, but sometimes gets a bit ahead of himself and scares people off.

🐰Byeongchan: the extremely self-conscious and self-critical youngest member of DIRE-X. works harder than anyone to try to prove his worth. adores his hyungs & is deeply loved in return 💞

Seems like it has been a while since I've last posted (again) wow

Things happened and I'll spare the details - though maybe I should mention that I'm mostly investing my time into preparing my webtoon these days. Last competition entry didn't go well so I'm aiming to put out a remake for the next competition which is to be held next May (the old entry is here if anyone's interested: https://comic.naver.com/challenge/list?titleId=825241 but it's completely in Korean). I'm thinking about posting the English translated version on LINE webtoon Canvas if the remake fails to win the contest but that's till next year anyways

Oh yeah because of that and other projects I'm working on, commissions are open until the end of October. If anyone was thinking about commissioning me, I'll accept them just for this month :) After that I'm not sure when it will reopen - this also depends whether I win the contest or not so be noted I suppose

Hmmmmm also this might be sort of a letdown for some of you but I'm not so passionate about Riley anymore, I mean I am still fond of him but like, not to the point of being crazily obsessed. It's just that my obsessions always expired after few months or a year at most, that's why Riley was going on for an unusually long period of time but has finally met his end😵‍💫 Maybe my passion for him will reignite some day, but I'm not so confident about raving over Riley like I did in the past once again, considering how my old obsessions are sitting in the corner of my brain... Although for some funny reason, drawing Riley has become sort of a habit and despite my diminishing passion, I find myself doodling him whenever my tablet is on. So I guess Riley art might keep happening.... on a slower pace...? I dunno but I'll try my best

On the other hand, I do have a new obsession which concerns the Korean webtoon 'Garbage Time', a basketball sports webtoon where teenagers compete with everything they've got like their whole career depends on it (because it actually does). Currently there are official Japanese and Chinese translations in service, however English version is yet to be released which is a real letdown because I'd love to ramble about it on here as well. I guess that's all I've got to say for now so I'll sign off with my newest bae, Byeongchan Park, the ultimate GOAT of this series and the man of my dreams UEEEAGGHHH he's such a husband material and I'm allowed to say it because he's 21 years old (yeah he's playing with teenagers but for complicated reasons which you'll know if you read Garbage Time)

FEDS Paper: Bank Supervision and Managerial Control Systems: The Case of Minority Lending(Revised)

Byeongchan An, Robert Bushman, Anya Kleymenova, and Rimmy E. Tomy This paper investigates how bank supervisors’ enforcement decisions and orders (EDOs) influence the allocation of mortgage lending across demographic groups underlying a banks’ borrower base. Specifically, we investigate how banks’ mortgage lending to minority borrowers relative to white borrowers changes following the resolution of severe EDOs. We hypothesize that improvements in management control systems imposed by EDOs serve as channels through which EDOs affect a bank’s borrower base generally, and minority lending specifically. We empirically examine how changes in loan policies and internal governance mechanisms specified in EDOs influence banks’ mortgage lending decisions. We find that relative to white borrowers, mortgage lending to minority borrowers significantly increases following the resolution of EDOs, where this positive effect increases with the strictness of bank supervisors and severity of the EDO.
