This fic nails that dynamic—between Mulder’s Mulder and Mulder’s Scully— in all their hilarious glory, and turns it saucy and spicy.

Read Right to Left (Manga Format)

I have returned to watching demon slayer after a year and it came up while I was having a serious late night talk with my big sister. I was talking about the relationship between Michikatsu/Kokushibo and Yoriichi and it turns out we both see each other in Yoriichi's shoes and ourselves in Michikatsu's place. Definitely surprising, but really relieving to know that we both worry too much and we are not so far apart in skill as we believe.

This is technically the first piece of fanart I've ever made for the characters in Demon Slayer, I have made OCs before but I never drew an actual character from the story. For context this is mostly just a fun "what if" scenario with them meeting in the afterlife. I like to think Yoriichi's love would reawaken Michikatsu's humanity.

alright i was doing so "good" at avoiding putting up spoilers but who am i kidding. I must show people everything that I am happy about.

In order to facilitate better balance (even if she needs a stand), I made the feet larger and I think I will maybe not do the ankle joint, but do the hand joint for better posing. I'm still considering it. I feel like if I put a magnet or hole in her foot to pose on a stand, it might work better if she had full foot + legs.

And I realized that this just... looks like eevee. So I made one with an eevee tail. And now I'm like, maybe she's too far from a Usul to be convincing? I guess the usul body type isn't the most conducive to this kind of body and now I'm second-guessing myself.

I spent a while fiddling with those legs to make them look better with the chunky body, but they ended up in a quite... wolf-kitty-girl kind of way. almost leaning towards generic. And I thinned out the ruff quite a bit (and it doesn't have its full detail). I had to flatten the stomach a little and make the leg joints very large because so much was showing from the side (and it looked way weirder before this, believe me)

But anyways: am I convinced I can make a perfect usul? maybe not, but i am going to make a very cute "something" and that's all that really matters
