You tug on his arm and pull him into bed with you. “Five more minutes please” you whispered, hugging him close. “B-but It’s Valentine's day and I have a whole plan for us two” he said, but hugging you back too. “Mhmm, but I wanna spend some time with you like this” you murmured into his chest. “W-wha… u gotta stop saying stuff like that, it’s not good for my heart y’know” He stammered. “Love you…” u said, he sighed and hugged you tighter, “love you too, babe” he whispered into your hair giving you a kiss. 

Leviathan: 

He gave you a framed glass painting of a picture of both of you in anime style. 

He will surprisingly leave his room and ask you to go outside with him

“W-well, okay here goes nothing.” he stammered, he took a deep breath, held your hands and looked you in the eyes. “MC, out of all the gacha games and raffles I play and win, nothing beats the happiness of when I won your love… Out of all the anime, nothing beats the excitement of seeing how our story goes, And out of everyone, I’m grateful that you became the Henry to my Lord of Shadows. I-I LOVE YOU, MC!” He confessed, closing his eyes. “I love you too, Leviathan. So, so much” You replied, pulling him into a hug followed by a kiss which made the otaku red as a tomato.

C H A P T E R I

「 The Start of a New Year 」

"MC, are you heading towards the student council room?" You turned around on your heels to find Lucifer standing there in the hall, a folder in his hands, and a smile that recently crept up on his face. "Why don't we walk together? We are going to the same place, after all."

You felt a sense of exhaustion in his voice no matter how much he tried to hide it from you. But you knew him well enough. You were sure that he won't listen to your nagging at this time of day, so you decided to just humour him. "Sure, let's go!"

These past days, Lucifer seemed to be getting better than before. He ate breakfast together with you and his brothers. He made sure to sleep earlier than usual— which was still past midnight, but it was a start, and he spent time with his family more. You couldn't help but think it was your influence at work. In fact, you were sure of it. You knew that the brothers' lives were getting much brighter because of your presence. The reason behind it all didn't matter. You didn't want to think about what happened in the past anymore. Not when it was a sensitive subject for each and every one of you. All you wanted to do was enjoy the moments you have with them for as long as you can. Never in your days would you have thought that something could come between you and those you hold dear.

"Lucifer and MC have arrived, Young Master," the butler named Barbatos announced to the man who sat at his desk, papers scattered in front of him. Diavolo looked up from his work and lit up the moment the two of you came into view. The smile on his face was automatically mirrored on your own. You just couldn't help it— He looked absolutely adorable!

"Lucifer! MC! I'm glad you're both here!"

"I take it my brothers are late again?" Lucifer ignored the prince's enthusiasm, looked around the room, and sighed as he took his seat next to Diavolo's. The latter just chuckled as the former continued to speak, complaining yet again as you expected, "I told them about this specific meeting exactly a week ago, and yet they still managed to be late."

"Yeah, you even reminded everyone in the house. Counting down the days to today." You pointed out, fingers out as to count down from seven to zero, which got you a side-eye glare from the man. You ignored his stare with a smirk creeping up on your face as you accepted the cup of tea Barbatos set down on your place. "Thank you, Barbatos."

After you found your seat on the other table where the rest of the brothers would be seated, Diavolo turned his gaze from you to the man next to him. With his usual smile, he answered Lucifer's question, "Your brothers aren't late, Lucifer, don't worry. You and MC are just early. You know, as usual."

"Yes, it might be as usual for me," Lucifer started and looked at you again, "But not for MC."

"Hey— Wha—"

"Even I thought I was late when I saw them walking towards the student council room... I had to double-check the time."

"Lucifer!"

Diavolo laughed, and Barbatos watched in amusement as you and the Avatar of Pride playfully argued back and forth. Finally, the school bell rang, and the doors to the room opened, revealing six demons who were having their own argument.

"Just give me back my money, Mammon! It's been three weeks— I need it to buy the recent merch for my favourite anime!"

"Wh-Which anime are ya talking about...? This one, or that one.....? Tell ya what, Levi, I'll buy ya that merch myself! Just tell me which one!"

"No! I'll buy it myself, thank you very much! And either you'll just use that money you borrowed from me and say it's not enough so I'll give you more, or tell me I need to pay you back a lot of money for your services, which I don't need!"

"Speaking of money... Satan, have you seen the limited edition makeup that's all in rage right now?!"

"Asmo... How did you get there from money? And no, I haven't. I see no point in asking me."

"What?! But you pass Majolish on the way to the Royal Library! There's no way you couldn't have seen it there!"

"I don't always have to look at Majolish's window whenever I walk past it, you know..."

"But you should!! —And the limited edition makeup isn't displayed in the window. You'd have to go inside the store."

"That's the more reason why I haven't seen it!!!"

"Hey, Belphie, are you alright? You're almost falling over, and you're slightly tripping on your own feet."

"I'm fine, Beel. I'm surprised you can even notice that while you're carrying lots of snacks in your arms and eating them at the same time."

"Yeah, well, I worry about you... and I'm hungry."

Well, from what you were hearing, everything seemed to be the same as every single day. There was nothing new going on with the brothers, and you didn't even realise how that was supposed to be a good thing. Because now the calm before the storm is about to end.

"What?! New exchange students?!" The brothers shouted in chorus, most of them slamming their hands on the table as they looked in shock at their lord, the Devildom Prince. The man expected their reaction and just nodded along with it.

"Yes, that's right. We've already picked out the students. We just need to write and send them their acceptance letters, telling them what they need to know before they get teleported here."

"Well, I'm glad you've all learned your lesson about randomly teleporting humans to the Devildom just for the programme," you say to them with a sigh and a shake of your head in disagreement to their former way of life. You then watched the brothers as they discussed their arguments about having new students. But you all knew that it had been two years since your year ended, and it was time to finally open up the programme once more. You still wondered whether it was a good idea to randomly pick out students and leave them no choice but to come here whether they like it or not. Seems like that's something you'll need to work on, too, just for the sake of the future exchange students.

"MC, I want you to write the acceptance letter that will be sent out for the new exchange students. You only need two of them; one for the human and one for the angel." Lucifer ordered, passing you the folder he was carrying earlier. It was filled with the new students' information, such as their name, age, home address, and other details that go deeper into their background. In one of the papers about the human, you saw what was supposed to represent a family tree, going far, far back into the past. It seemed like they were trying to make sure they didn't miss any important details; and by the looks of it, they didn't. A high wave of relief washed over you, and you smiled with a nod towards Lucifer's direction.

"Alright, I'm on it." You decided not to argue with the eldest Avatar on the subject. You secretly wanted to write the letters yourself, after all. You wanted it to be a way to somehow connect yourself to them, and writing the letter was your only choice at the moment since you had no other way of reaching out.

As everyone else discussed the details further, you went to work with high hopes.

RoR Parallel: Disha vs Kyoshi's convos (spoilers)

Ok....this has been bothering me.... since like....the leaks and previews were happening. Cause I feel like this is a parallel.

Disha's Convo:

Kyoshi's Convo:

I found it interesting that both question him, playing Devil's Advocate to him in a sense.

It feels less like Kyoshi is like "I found killing to be more humane than imprisoning people" and more that she's just.......testing his logic.

Of course they don't go as into detail as Disha's conversation. (Kyo why you so tight lipped? ;w;)

This might be because Kyoshi's conversation feels more like..... She's trying to comfort Roku. Try to set his mind at ease about how he killed someone. As well as assure him that he is a good fit as the Avatar (the whole "look within comment later" because mfer keeps doubting himself).

Both conversations revolve around his duties as the Avatar. Disha's trying to get him to shed the one nation mindset. Kyoshi about his self doubt. (Ironically in Kyoshi's convo, he is in a conflicting mindset of two nations, wanting to reject the Fire Nation side of "yeah you had to kill" vs the Air Nomad way of "no you should find a different alternative. Which reminds me a lot of her, how she was trapped between two mindsets. Something she doesn't want to do vs what she wants to do. Her Earth Kingdom and Air Nomad heritages conflicting within her. Her morals from Rangi and Lao Ge conflicting within her).

I dunno I found it REALLY INTERSTING but.... I'm also not sure how deep I should read into it. (All in all I found Roku's change over the novels a bit too sudden and rocky and just not handled well. This combined with Disha trying to be like "Kyoshi I guess looked within and that's why she chose to die" BS......esp considering we had two novels of Kyoshi yapping non stop when it came to analyzing herself and her actions. So while I think the novel wants to be like "she's imparting words of a mistake she failed to make"....I just don't buy the mistake cause it's not well written, so instead I see it more as "Kyoshi sees what Roku needs to hear" because it makes more sense and lines up more with her comforting him in that scene).

Sorry for the side rant, it's just hard reconciling the canon of this book with both Kyoshi novels and what we know of her char in ATLA/LoK.

Side, still related, take: (gonna be honest, looping back to Kyoshi's convo and the prison thing. I'm surprise they didn't bring up "rehabilitation," I feel like that's something Kyoshi would've tried to do esp since she's aware of the concept in a way when she comments on how "She could see Jinpa trying to convince Kirima/Wong into leaving the daofei lifestyle, they probs would steal his bison." I dunno, maybe this'll be something that we see in the next novel. I def think Kyoshi would've tried rehabilitation, esp since she saw how Te changed. If she didn't, it'd feel weird ngl.

And I feel like she was questioning Roku here so that he could make the connection himself. But he....just gives up with a "I dunno" TT0TT)

Last session my beloved boy got a new cardigan and.. well, while I love his cloak (poncho?? idk I made that thing up based on my favorite poncho but fantasy so-) he really does look great in green

anyways, my good friend and dm, Bird, described the cardigan as "green, with leaf patterns on the outlines, and a print of a fey flower on the back". now, I had no clue what a "fey flower" is. like, is there real dnd flowers of the fey realm that have canonical designs or no? So, I googled. and google informed me of a real world plant called the fuchsia fey. which is a puple flower. so naturally I tried to draw that flower... which didn't exactly translate well into how I sketch, so I just. lifted the sketch and put it in the drawing too? the golden and green faint lines around it are literally my sketch for the flower in low opacity. I love the vibe it gives, like its vaguely magical/ethereal. but then I wanted to balance the colors a bit, and suddenly kemi's pondering whether he should even keep his very recognizable cloak when (if my very bad acting somehow evaded notice of that fact) he's trying not to get recognized. it's part of why I had him buy new clothes, too..

anyways. second drawing includes his staff. which I do have a specific design for, its in his character sheet I drew a while back. he also looks so feminine in that one that my mom asked if "she's sitting on that branch" which. yeah kemi was originally designed to be my entire gender (purple with masculine pronouns is literally everything required for my gender to be stolen by a fictional character, and in our local language there's no gender neutral pronouns so I default to she/her for convenience).

the last one is awkwardly placed bc I literally ran out of space and went "oh, shoot, where's my favorite ref pose for laying low" because I unironically used that pose ref picture like three times before for like. my internet avatar character (thats my pfp) and for one of the gachatube ocs I have for my gacha arg series. I'm actually very proud of that one.

also I never drew kemi with his bangles around his legs before. mostly because I thought the shoes would get in the way, which like.. if he's standing upright they totally would, so I stand by that. but I wanted to do both sets of bangles and originally he didn't have shoes and had one on each leg, so. I stand by that one.

also decided to give him extra ear piercings for the one w the long rectangle earring. for flavor and color balancing and stuff. also also the leaves on the front of the cardigan are supposed to act a bit like if the fluff of hoodies and stuff were just. tree.

anyways fun note is that his shoes dont have like. fronts. its boots if you remove the toe caps entirely. weird ass wizard desert shoes.

Your roblox pngs are so gosh darn cool!! Never seen em done like that before, the poses are so fluid and the lightings just right. What's your process like?

gaah!! thank you so much! it's actually a little less conventional than you'd think - but it works for me! idk how others do it anyway, i figured this out on my own. THIS guide will be a bit messier because it's late and i was talking to others during this but... hopefully it'll help!

i actually use the pose editor in a roblox game (or EXPERIENCE i ur roblox itself) named 'catalog avatar creator'. it exists to create and preview outfits - but you can also take cool pics in there an customize your poses (and even your items!)

you can even change background to various greenscreens, so that helps! i use this regularly to plan oufits before i may want to buy them! for example i haven't even bought the things for the tv head avatar i showed.

bu anyways, lemme show you how i do my pngs or 'renders'!!

first you either make an outfit in there... or just use your regular avatar! my current avatar is my silly space kitty i concepted in this game, so i'll use that to demonstrate.

FIRST you wanna click here on the sparkle button i masterfully highlighted in mspaint

2) and right away you see the pose editor!! click it!!

okay, at first glance THIS MAY BE SCARY!! but if you're even LIGHTLY familiar with even the most basic of like... 3d stuff WHICH I KNOW NOT EVERYONE IS - you will do swell. a lot of roblox editing things use this sorta system so you might've practiced there before? (i sure have in tprr's animatronic oc editor!)

3) what you wanna do is just select a body part you want to move. it will then highlight on your avatar and you can use the balls to turn em in it's respective axis. some angles will not work as well so move your camera while you do this

(but have a good camera point set in mind! you may wanna do camera trick stuff in your pose depending on what angle you're at. for example i disattach the tail from the body and make it slightly visible on the side. you aren't able to tell! makes it look nicer.)

to MOVE stuff and not just ROTATE it click the little arrows thing! you will move and not rotate that way. just play around with it :] don't be worried to de-attach things - roblox isn't exactly realistic so don't worry to mess around w that!

4) just pose it! go wacky! here's a few things to keep in mind

certain body parts are connected! and ofc, their respective items - i will cover this later.

for example, the pelvis, if moved, moves the torso as well. if you wanna make a floaty pose, move up the pelvis and rotate it first and then the chest (and other parts of the body)

references for poses may not hurt, but being an artist who likes drawing silly poses i'd say i have a DECENT enough grasp of good poses - so that definitely helps with the Flow of my poses you (anon) mentioned! practice makes perfect!

ALSO, you can save poses!

anyways, here's a pose i came up with!

but that's not all! i wanna move the items!

5) well, just click "apply" and re-enter the effects menu!!

then you click whatever you wanna edit and... boom! fancy new window! now you can play around with your item here - i won't explain that, just have fun!

but to move your item around just click "transform item" - it'll bring up the same options you had before while moving body parts!

aand... here's the result!

so, the pose is done... but we wanna prepare it for editing and actually take a picture! well, first, we can't use this background. so...

6) click the gear and then select 'environment' and select a good green, blue or pink screen! i have to settle with what's best since my fella is rainbow. (whatever doesn't clash with the edges of the character is best!!)

here you can also set the lightning! if you go back and pick 'camera & lightning'

I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU SET A LOW EXPOSURE AS IT MAKES LIGHTER COLORS LESS "FUZZY" AND **WILL** MAKE EDITING IN A SECOND EASIER! it makes it darker but you can edit that, too!

anyways... here's my final product after fiddling with the lightning!

7) take a pic! you can either angle your camera as is which is a bit limited... or... free-cam! which is a bit better but dear GOD is it annoying to control. (tho holding shift makes it less sensitive)

so... here's the final stage we'll do in-game! one last thing i did to make it look better is for a second turn my graphics to max and THEN take a roblox screenshot. (then turn it back down to not deepfry my computer)

honestly, i could've turned the avatar to face the camera with their body a little more when tuning my camera, but i'm not gonna fix that now i don't have much time now LOL let's speed thru this.

8) the TEDIOUS PART. yeeting this into an editing program.

your editing program WILL require anti-aliasing OFF options, a bucket tool and if you really wanna fix issues - a selection tool and just.. layers. and brushes. i use SAI 2 so it's specific to SAI 2.

if you did your camera settings right, you will have a pretty crisp outline everywhere, unless you're me and fucked up here. but this can be fixed. we don't want this fuzz that much

well, i use sai which has a nice bucket tool! i set it to paint with invisible/eraser bucket and adjust the rance of similar color. may take a few tries to get right pick 'similar colored area' or ' all similar colored pixels'.

personally, i pick all similar pixels.

AND TURN ANTI ALIASING **OFF**!! CRISP PIXELLY LOOK

before i do anything tho, i use the selection tool and pick up everything that's the same color as the background in it - being pink.

you can also use the selection pen!

some get tricky and pixel precise... remember if you use sai that the pen is fuzzy - but selection tool is more precise (not the lasso - that's fuzzier too)

here's the goober with all the Protected parts selected. then just invert the selection... (pointing at how u do that quickly)

9) ok NOW you get that bucket tool and just tap at the pink and watch it BE GONE... ofc, make sure you set it to transparent/eraser bucket tool

BOOM. gone. b-but... ENHANCE...!

NOT PERFECT!! CLICK THOSE OFF TOO! remove manually with pixel tool or whatevz if you must

10) look around the edges of the image and look for any fuzz like this... remove it! and if there's any jaggedies...? you can edit those in yourself, usually it's small enough to clear up yourself. (you can also just - save with a diff name, reopen original, copy the section you erased/has jaggedies and paste it into this edited version)

depending on what bg / greenscreen color options you chose (and yoour avatar's colors) and how careful you were... this may take a time to edit! it depends!

also, see texture mess up? depending on the texture and ur skill/patience... goot bye! i usually keep cover ups to simple things like this myself and i can edit things pretty well, too. u can embrace some roblox silliness and imperfections!

10) color adjustments i do to brighten it up...! once i crop the screenshot around the avatar to be a good size i copy it and paste it into the image again

and i set the layer effect of the top pasted image to SCREEN and fiddle with the settings...! (ofc, you can also use other settings - or even the regular color layer settings - but this one's more straight forward to me!)

then i may double check for stuff but... we're done! here's your finished "render" !!!

i don't have time to proof-read this currently, so i hope everything makes sense and there aren't any weird typos or left-overs from previous editing.

Lego Monkie Kid Season 1 (Show Recommendation)

Goku voices Sun Wukong and Sokka voices M.K, and the animation really had me like:

Main protagonist is destined to succeed said hero

Pros:

The main character is THE MAIN CHARACTER, and he learns good lessons and trains. 

Good choreography in the fights

Great side characters, including villains

Voice acting is well done

Art direction is amazing & colorful for such a simple artstyle 

Set pieces are 100% eye candy, the art director did their due diligence. Almost all the establishing shots look like cartoonish concept art.

5-6 titular characters, not 20, not 30, not 50 that are ALL the main protagonist. Less than 7 in this show get focus. 

Mei (Titular Female lead) is very fun and likable, she’s full of so much energy. Not only is she in the action in Episode 0 but by Episode 3 she gets more characterization and an upgrade so she can get even more involved. (Won’t say any more tho)

Her character arc isn’t revolving around liking the main character, it’s regarding personal situations pertaining to her life. Not her life revolving around what someone else does.

She’s allowed to be cool and get W’s, not just the boys 24/7

Mei & MK have the most pure & cute platonic relationship, something people/society/kids need to see more of. We need more platonic.

(Now, be advised, i just finished Season 1 so things could change between them but seriously M&MK have interacted so much whatever they choose to do for them as a couple or NOT do, works regardless because they have an actual relationship vs this shit:)

Than Carrot dangling “will they, won’t they’s” for 6-7 years

YES, i’m looking at YOU “MY HERO”

Plus, her Jumpsuit getup screams a cool fusion between White Ranger & Green Ranger = Mei is who you get.

Monkey King is 100% BADASS, lore accurate feats/representation of what this Monke is capable of. 

Sun Wukong China’s Superman for a reason, and if nobody considers him to be, ya’ll really should. 

There’s a reason why Goku’s base character traits took notes from both Superman and Monkey King

Cons:

Breakneck pacing (because it’s 11min, and the style is very fluid; The content is coming at you a little fast)

It is a kid’s show, so it’s not going to get super edgy or show serious blood or anything like that. That doesn’t mean people aren’t dropping the word “Kill”, this show gets serious, edgy. But not super edgy. 

(The writing is good despite it gearing to kids to buy Lego toys, Avatar style. Just because it’s family oriented doesn’t mean it can’t compete with Anime, boom. That’s what matters)

Just because it’s a “kid’s show” doesn’t mean lower the bar, doesn’t mean be lazy and treat your audience like they’re stupid because they’re children. And Monkie Kid did the exact opposite of settling for less.

Again, the episodes are 11min, so if you don’t like short watches, watch the show anyway. Trust me, it’s a good time.

The show’s aesthetic is like Rise of the TMNT (Which i’ll admit, i was a hater of due to my admiration for the 2012 take. But i’m going to give it a chance, i’ve seen some clips of the show, and i actually like what i see.)

Otherwise, the breakneck pacing which is personally NOT my style, but it’s not a deal breaker. Especially since this show is adapting a source material i admire: Journey To The West

Jokes are pretty good, wholesome show, the action is directed like i was choreographing this shit, just look at this gif:

These ARE LEGOS people, why are they really throwing hands on par with ANIME fight scenes (With the difference being if you pause it, you’re not looking at a derp frame, ALL THE FRAMES are for the most part consistent quality)

And the sound design, HOLY shit man.

I have at least a 3GB+ folder just for SFX for my edits, i love a good explosion and shockwave effect- so when i say it’s got good acoustics, that means it’s good.

First time through this show tho, Episode 0 is basically a movie (MAR 2023), starting Season 2 soon

First episodes per season are like 30min to an hour, all the episodes after are standard 11min stories- PER Season.

As of MARCH 2023, only 3 Seasons, so far. 

It’s not 11/10 or anything, but it’s a really good show, recommended.

I’m arriving home from the market after having to make a couple of stops to “Buy” supplies for my mother just in time for dinner. Being completely exhausted & hungry as I reached out to open the door a light breeze pushed it open enough for me to realise the door has been broken into I dropped my groceries rushed into the house looking around only to see that shadow figure jump out the window & my mother is collapsing to the floor I rushed over to her shouting “NO NO NO NO NOO!.. DON’T THI-STAY WITH ME MUM!” She then grabbed me by the throat & started choking me saying “You let me die, You let me DIE!” She then slowly turned into the short haired woman in Water Tribe clothing with bright glowing blue eyes while proceeding to shout at me with a loud demonic distorted voice . “YOU LET ME DIE! YOU LEFT ME HERE” “I’M SORR!-“ (choking noises) “ALONE TO DIE! NOW YOU DIE!..” then a bright light shoots out of her eyes then everything goes white then I burst awake in a cold sweat realising that it’s just another nightmare, I took a few deep breaths to calm myself down, breathed a sigh of relief & quietly said to myself “Another day, another set of push ups.-” *clang* *shouting & rapid footsteps* I start hearing a commotion going on above me *large gusts of wind blowing sounds* (Explosions) *rock crackling* (“GET BACK INTO YOUR CELL!”) *smash smash* (Cell Door collapsing) *thud* (choking In unbearable pain “AAARRRGH!..”) At this point I’m starting to panic *clang* (“Survive!..” *SNAP* “NOOOOooo!..”) *smack* (“DIIE BASTARD!..” *SMASH*) I then hear nearly guards on my floor repeatedly shouting “STAND DOWN!” “WE SAID STAND DOWN!” ( “STAND DOWN KID!” “DON’T DO IT!” *SMASH* *SPLASSH* *BLOOD SPLATTERS ACROSS MY FACE*) Then the guards said “GRAT! I’M NO THREAT!”- *WHACK* *THUD* then I heard an unfamiliar voice remark “Pathetic..” Then the food hatch slides open with my usual morning meal if you can even call it a meal sliding in & he says “Eat up, you’re going to need your strength.” As I reluctantly started eating he proceeded to say “Soon the Civilisations of the World will be free from it’s self imposed shackles & if I’m going to do that I’m going to need loyal followers & if you’ve managed to end up in here then that means you’ve got the potential for true greatness but only if you join me..” This man then looks through the small hatch only to see me aggravatingly looking back at him staring into his soul.. *angrily grunting*

He then takes a step back away from hatch as he says “Hm, Shame. All the same I’ve unlocked your cell, and he guards have all been taken care of, so don’t you waste this opportunity for a second chance at life & If you ever change your mind & want to be on the right side of history, come find me.”

He then leaves I quickly finish my food & once I’m certain that I’m alone i opened the cell door seeing the fruits of my rescuer’s labour all the guards in cell block are knocked out cold as I trying to find my way to the exit I started to smell fresh air for the first time in soo long, I finally see the exit & as I stepped outside into the sunlight I finally saw myself properly for the first time since I was first locked up in this horrible place.

-Just pretend that’s it’s your face-

“How long was I locked up inside that cursed cell? I must’ve lost YEARS OF MY LIFE TO THIS PLACE! I guess that would explain the ‘physical changes’ that I’ve been experiencing. I thought I was just sick..” I then looked around & also realised the Temple Prison has completely repaired since it was attacked sometime ago, as I’m approaching the bridge entrance I see the memorial dedicated to Rick at the base of it I see his old Metalbending wire launcher he used when he died as picked it up to closely inspect it I see something else & a wave of grief & guilt washed over me I dropped to my knees as my eyes welled up as I started reading the stone plack at the base of his statue “To the Hero of all Heroes, a man who died in the line of duty protecting his family In service to the White Lotus. May the Spirits guide you in the eternal afterlife Rick L/N.” “Rick’s my ..F-Father?!” (“Mummy everyone else has dad do I have one?” “Why yes you do little champ.” “What was like?” “He was stubborn, kind, a hell of a detective & definitely a huge smart ass just like you” “Why isn’t he here?” she then looks away for moment with a sad look on her face before looking back with a smile “Because he’s the type person who doesn’t give up, he just goes on doing the right thing. Even if- *her eyes well up* *Sniffs* even if it takes him away from his own family but don’t worry you’ll get to meet him someday, I promise….”) I hold the wire launcher close as I start crying harder than I ever have before. “AAAAAARRRRGGGHH!….”

Guard’s POV:

As the child’s cries echoed throughout the mountainside the guards locked up in the cell nearby wake up they see what’s going on & recognises that cry the cries of a child mourning their parents & look on in horror at the realisation that they’ve locked up an innocent child, as they watch on the kid sees them & looks at Rick’s Memorial Statue

M/R’S POV:

After a while I realise that I’m being watched by the locked up guards I look back at the statue & I stood up & made my way to the cell the guards backed away not knowing what I’d do only to be confused when I unlocked the cell door & said “You were my farther’s family, wouldn’t want you all to be locked away in a Prison Cell.” Which puts the guards at ease, as I turn away to leave a guard asks “Where will go?” “Somewhere that you can’t find me..” I then set off across the prison bridge to get off this damn mountain..

• Hello, my secret friends. A week ago, I checked my playtime stats from Sony PlayStation. So far, I haven't played my main game (that is "Gran Turismo Sport") since February this year. They even recognized my previous game, "Gundam Versus".

• TBH, I don't usually play consoles now, such as PS4. It's been overshadowed by my ongoing plans, not to mention playing my recent PC game "GTA V Online". Alongside with my big mistakes (from my past 2022) & working family business (making rugs). I'll discuss it in my "E.S.P.'s Year-End Artwork Summary" coming Dec. 31st.

BTW: I haven't touch the PS Plus subscription, yet.

We will live in a world where we can make changes to material, plants, and even humans by editing them. Nanotechnology will enable us to create materials with completely new features, such as water resistance and self-healing capabilities.

CRISPR-Cas9 has been around for a few years, but in 2023 we’ll see gene editing technology accelerate to give us the increasing capability to “edit nature” by altering DNA.

Gene editing can be used to correct DNA mutations, solve the problem of food allergies, increase the health of crops, or even edit human characteristics like eye and hair color.

6. Quantum Progress

Right now, there is a worldwide race to develop quantum computing at scale.

Quantum computing, which uses subatomic particles to create new ways of processing and storing information, is a technological leap that’s expected to bring us computers capable of operating a trillion times more quickly than the fastest traditional processors available today.

The potential danger of quantum computing is that it could render our current encryption practices useless — so any nation that develops quantum computing at scale could break the encryption of other nations, businesses, security systems, and more. People will be thinking more about where rare earth components for things like computer chips originate and how we're consuming them.

We’re also using cloud services like Netflix and Spotify, which still run in huge data centers that consume vast amounts of energy.

Do you have any OC family trees? YEs, i have an unfinished one, for my old project, and in fact all main characters in that story are somewhat related since they all are connected to the three god siblings

Favourite OC? Akila, she has been living rent free in my mind for like 3 years now. Shes my poor meow meow, my rotten soldier, my silly little boy, my blorbo if you will. Shes the main force behind the story she is for and i think i did a good job with her character.

OC you most struggled to make? at first, Wisteria i think. She felt very flat as her first concept was just 'nice queen everyone loves' but now that ive spiced her up a little she has unfolded.

* Sum up one or more of your wips! My Big Wip that wont see the light of day in years but lives in my head rent free: Big Sibling Spat dooms the world. But then one of the siblings die and now the other two are very pissed and its everyone problem now. Describe the setting of one or more of your wips Big wip is a heavy fantasy setting that takes place both in Hell dimention and Mortal dimention, its literally what you get when you google Fantasy Landscape, also a mix of tech/magic. Current wip is more lax, i imagine it being a mix of medieval-pre industrial aesthetic, there are some big technologic developments happening but still very early.

What are some things that inspired your stories? Real events? Maybe a dream? Many things, so many things. Mostly other media. Current wip started as a HK fanfic idea i had.

Satan pointed out his behaviour and called him a lovestruck fool and all he could do was blush since the wrathful demon wasn't really wrong

He feels irritated when mammon always calls you his human and that his your first

He's literally the avatar of envy so of course he can't help but growl and glare at the tsundere for his claims about you

When you turn down his invitations to play or watch anime, he makes that stupidly adorable face looking like a sad puppy

And you're weak to that shit

So of course you put aside any of your plans and spend time with him

Him confessing was messier than my life

He'll stutter the words that are already jumbled, hands fidgeting, eyes darting everywhere besides you and a face that looks like a tomato

When he shouted out the words "i like you"

He went poof, and his demon form came out

You can't help but be stunned and eventually laugh

Now you laughing didn't seem like a good sign to him

Was my confession that awful and did you think he was just joking, he thought

Already feeling like he wants to cry, you suddenly engulfed him in a hug, saying you like him too

Imagine the happiness he felt in that moment as he hugged you so tightly

You looked at him with wide eyes

Never in a million years would you think that mammon would actually offer to treat you

"Are you sick or something? Are you dying?" you asked concerned cupping his facd

"the heck, who's dying" he said gently swatting your hand away

Your touch always makes his face heat up so don't touch him damnit

Since you're teasing him, he'll actually feel the need to take back his words cause all he wants now is to bury himself 6ft under

"geez, if you don't want to, you can just f-"

"i never said, i wouldn't tho" you said smiling at him

"w-well of course y-you w-would agree, heh i-im the g-great mammon a-after all" he stammered, hands scratching the back of his neck

You actually said yes and he's fighting the urge to smile

You set the date for your dinner 2 days from now, so in those two days his utterly restless

His a mess and the eldest didn't fail to notice it

When lucifer knew why mammon was so out of it, he offered his little brother a pep talk on how to won you over

Mammon hesitated in accepting lucifer's help but if it ensures his confession to get a good answer he'll take the devil's hand

Amidst to mammon's dilemma, you already had the idea that he was planning to confess and you were more than ready to say yes

But for now, let's just enjoy mammon taking lessons from lucifer on "how to win the girl you like"

You of course would just have a bunch of question marks floating above your head wondering why would he call you for such menial things

What does he want you to do, eat the fish?, and finding a lost pen? Doesn't he have a lot of those and barbs is there to help him find it

Eventhough you're questioning everything, you still go

You secretly told barbs how he was acting weird with his imvite reasons

And Barbatos gladly filled you in on the reason why

You just stared at barbs stunned and the pretty demon just smiled

Already known of the demon's feelings, the next time he calls for you, you won't be able to look him in the eyes

This of course made him think that your avoiding him and that your uncomfortable with his company

So he sadly stopped calling for you, and it's been three days since you last saw each other

His experiencing withdrawal symptoms

Constant sighing, no motivation to do anything, blanky staring at his phone and just looking all pitiful

Barbatos had to take matters into his own hands

He raided the house of lamentation and kidnapped you taking you to the castle

Diavolo was quick to hug you the moment he saw you and he was like a big dog being deprived with treats for days

You both talk it out how you were not avoiding him and was just feeling conscious from what barbatos said

He was glad that was the reason but he's bummed out how barbatos was the one to say about his feelings for you

lucifer: he knew the moment the new exchange student locked eyes with mammon, he’s not stupid but the way his brother is acting around them is. in some moments he has tried to set them up weither he made a reservation at ristorante six but diavolo had to “cancel” or he needs mammon to pick up some stuff while he’s out but on that list are things that mc ran out of or things they said they needed and he needs to deliver them straight to mc. he definitely gets a kick when he sees mammon so flustered around mc or when he sees them together he just loves his baby brother and wouldn’t stand in the way of love especially if this is mammons first

levi: he heard from asmo that mammon had a crush on mc and went back in his room to collect the goods to give to mammon. what are these goods you ask? well they only consist of romance animes but only the really good ones that are super old and have one season with a cliffhanger at the end, every dating sim game that he decided to let him borrow only if he created his own safe file and got every happy ending and highly recommended romance manga that made levi cry. as much as he wants mc to fall in love with him he’s super supportive and wants everyone to be happy as he sees it he’s watching a live action romance anime with a really good plot but the male character needs to shape up and confess to the love interest asap

satan: saw it for himself the utter fool mammon and the rest of his brothers are doing to matchmake but he gets in on the action too he even creates a group chat so everybody even the dateables can help out. how does satan help out you may ask, the romance novels do all the work obviously. he buys the flowers, writes the poems, creates the atmosphere even inputs himself in their conversations to see some action, but it can only do so much because when mammon so as much opens his mouth satan facepalms because he manages  messes up and make it awkward. he tries but only so much before he needs to scream and tear something up. though when he's mad he doesn't see that mammons awkwardness actually helps the two get closer.

asmo: the avatar of lust isn’t blind but mammon sure is and it’s painful to watch so he imediently steps in and gives pointers. he also gives some pointers to mc to speed up the process so both of them can release the sexual tension. he tells mammon how to dress, what to say, cute date spots around the devildom to bring mc to, how to not be a complete idiot and make a fool of yourself but that needs some work soooo… he tells mc basically the same thing but drops hints that someone has a secret admirer even if that means asmo has to wake up early to drop notes in mc’s locker that are from “mammon” or sound similar to a certain greed demon. the things the avatar of lust does to see love blossom smh.

beel: doesn’t know what’s happening but he gets happy seeing mammon and mc together. he likes mc and he likes mammon so to see the two happy and giggling or out late because of some “errand” lucifer made them do together it just makes him overall happy. he wants to help but doesn’t know how to when the rest of his brothers are stepping in so he uses food to help, when he's alone with mc he makes sure there’s enough for them and says mammon made it or mammon wanted him to give it to you he's like a food messenger and sometimes becomes a third wheel not on purpose but because he needs to supervise the two because one he's hungry and wants their leftovers and two food brings people together and gets a front row seat watching the show. 

belphie: doesn’t know what’s happening pt2 and he’s the last one to help out only because he’s lazy and doesn't know what an avatar of sloth can bring to the table. but when beel reminds him he's the avatar of sloth he definitely creates some cute moments. like this one time when mc was studying and mammon was in their room he subtly casted a sleeping spell and when he walked back with the others they all saw the two cuddled up on the bed and definitely took pictures to send to the group chat. after that belphie kinda quits because he’s tired and doesn't wanna use his sleeping magic on others but from time to time when nobodies looking hell cast it just to see them together only for his eyes no one else.

Felt like crying, so I came to you, my friend! Mc and Mammon went out shopping, specifically to buy gifts for his brothers, as an apology. When they get back home they are met with hostility. They berate Mammon until Mc screams at them to shut up, then rips into each of them for their treatment of Mammon. Then finishes with "Don't expect Mammon to stay here when he can live with me in the humanworld. I'm done with you. Mammon, lets go, you deserve better, love" and leaves w/ Mammon. Thank you!

You came to me because you felt like crying and that gives me two (2) things to think about. 1.) I'm apparently someone who people see as a tissue? 2.) My angst is just THAT good. Also! Apparently today is rain on Mammon day and I'm here for it not me avoiding my exam to write these things

Soul-Searching (MAMMON X GN!READER ft. THE BROTHERS)

“You know, I’m proud of you for suggesting this.” Truly, you were. Mammon was your favorite and you felt for him, but you also completely understood where his brothers came from. At first, it honestly annoyed you as well; the constant stealing, the lying… You tried blaming it on his avatar, but even then it doesn’t explain the lying that comes with it. However, you do realize that it’s a habit and it’s a habit that is hard to fix, so instead of constantly getting onto him like the rest, you tried to understand him a bit more and give him some life advice. So far, you have managed to get Mammon to give back all the things he has recently taken from his brothers, and some of them even got an apology. You’ll be working on how to properly apologize, though, because oof, that was a mess. 

And now? Now you managed to take a small trip with him downtown to at least attempt to make things better. Mammon is now, or at least today, using his own money to buy some things that his brothers would be fond of: a new vinyl player for Lucifer (non-cursed), a new Ruri-chan t-shirt for Leviathan, a neck pillow for Satan because lord knows he has some cramps back there with the way he leans over and down to read his books. Then some perfume for Asmodeus that he had been swooning about, a gift card to Beel’s favorite restaurant for the glutton, and a heated blanket for Belphie. You were proud, truly, that Mammon wanted to do this. As a matter of fact, he was the one who suggested it. “Maybe… uh.. I could… ya know… buy somethin’ they like” is what he said. You were just excited and agreed to help. 

Now you were going back to the house with a few shopping bags and ice cream almost fully eaten. You paid for the ice cream, as a way to reward Mammon, and you’re sure he’s secretly thanking you for that because some of these items truly did burn a hole into his credit card, which is partially his fault. “Lucifer deserves more than some random vinyl player.” his words, not yours. Also “satan needs one of them neck pillows that massage it, too!” again, his words. So yeah, some money was definitely spent on these items, but… once again, you were proud. “I think they’ll love everything, Mam. They’d be fools if they didn’t.” Hearing you say that made Mammon feel a lot better, honestly, and a small rush of confidence came to the surface “Ya betcha they will! Nothin’ but the best from the Great Mammon!” You just laughed. 

However, upon arrival, it was a different sight. As a matter of fact, you barely made it through the door before Beel was grumbling something about Mammon eating his custard, which is true, but it’s just a custard? “MAAMMMOONNN!!” and then there was Lucifer who appeared so fast you wondered if he was even real. He went on a whole rant about how irresponsible Mammon is and how another bill came in the mail that talks about Mammon’s debt. Satan and Belphegor teamed up to show empty hands, which left both you and Mammon confused, but then “do you see anything here? No? That’s because you sold our belongings, Mammon!” Mammon can be lucky that Leviathan was still holed up in his room because he just remembered that he also, at some point in the past, sold one of Levi’s figures. Asmodeus came last and honestly he wasn’t mad, he was just annoyed. “I saw you go through my things, Mammon. Nothing was taken, but it was still so incredibly rude!” 

Next followed a screaming match which was basically just Mammon trying to defend himself, trying to show the bags and apologize, but none of them would have it. It irritated you. Yes, they had every right to be mad because personal belongings should stay with their owner(s), but at the same time, they didn’t even give Mammon a chance to explain, especially after he’s been holding the bags up and attempting to apologize. “You’re so stupid, Mammon” “StupidMammon” “so irresponsible. You know better than that. Do you need another time out session, Mammon?” “I can’t believe you’d go through my stuff again!” by now your eyes were twitching and the voices echoing off the walls surely didn’t help your case. One more word and you’d snap, surely, especially since Mammon’s hand is now shaking and you grabbing it did nothing at all. “We would be better off without you.”

Ah yes, there it is. The final straw. The amount of anger boiling inside you right now isn’t even manageable anymore and you’re surprised that Satan, as the Avatar of Wrath, has yet to notice it. “Shut up! Shut up, Shut up, Shut up! All of you!” You yanked Mammon behind you, almost protectively and Belphegor found the need to laugh at it. “Really? You’re going to protect him?” Oh, there. That’s your first victim. “Are you really that dense, Belphegor, or is sleep still clouding your brain cells? That is your brother you’re currently making fun of and I don’t know about you, but I was taught that family sticks together, blood related or by choice. So how about you get your head out of dreamland, take this stupid heated blanket that he bought for you, as an apology, and wake up for a second.” yes, you did throw the bag at him and then you pointed your finger at Beel. You’d regret later on that you’re tearing into him as well because Beel means well at the end of the day, but still, he was also part of this. 

“You’re my least worry, Beel. Honestly you’re too caught up in your burgers and brawns to care for a second that your brother tries very hard to be liked by all of you. Sad, really.” you threw the card at him too. As a matter of fact, you threw all of the bags right in front of them. “And then Asmo.. oh my God, first of all, the world doesn’t revolve around you. Shocker, I know. If you were half as empathetic toward your family as you are obsessed with yourself, maybe you wouldn’t feel the need to always go party and drink your life away. Oh, I’m sorry, did that hit just a little too hard? Can’t be harder than the hangovers you wake up with on a regular basis.” You glared at him before turning your attention to Satan. “Honestly, if you weren’t such a baby inside I may actually be scared of you. You always complain about how stupid he is, how he needs to just learn, but you? What do you do all day? You hole yourself up in your room and read about worlds that you wish you could enter. News flash: you’d die before you had the chance to say hello. People don’t like self-proclaimed assholes. Mammon IS smart. He’s very talented, too, but you’re too far up in Shakespeare’s ass that you fail to realize that everyone has knowledge in different fields of life. Give me a break.” 

Satan was about to retort but you already moved on to Levi. “and you! Let’s be honest, if it weren’t for you wallowing in self-pity and fake depression, you would have absolutely no personality traits. What are you again? The Avatar of Envy? How about instead of being envious of others’ accomplishments, you actually start working on yourself. It’s truly pathetic that a couple millenia old demon’s only purpose in life is ramen and self inflicted emotional pain. Seriously, what are you? A pitiful loner? I can’t even begin to empathize with you in any way, shape, or form.” Your blood was boiling right now and maybe if they hadn’t attacked Mammon like they did, you would’ve felt bad about Levi’s sad face right now, but there was still one person left to deal with.”

“And you… beautiful, responsible, way-too-good-for-you older brother, Lucifer.” He’s been glaring at you this whole time, arms crossed over his chest but you stood your ground. You’re not quite sure how you managed, but you did. “You call yourself the best, the most responsible. You constantly say this family would fall apart without you, but that’s not it, is it? I think you’re just lonely. You force these six to be by you, to respect you and borderline worship you. Not because you deserve it…” you chuckled, shaking your head, “no. You’re just so sad that Daddy and Michael left you, mocked you, that you turned your sadness into anger and took it out on these six, but especially Mammon. Why? Because you see yourself in him. You call him your favorite brother, but it’s not because he actually is… he just reminds you of everything you used to be: fun, reckless, and feeling. Now you’re just cold, mean, and bitter. Don’t bother calling yourself the mighty first because without him you would be neither. Maybe if you pulled that stick out of your arse and actually tried to get to know your brothers, maybe you wouldn’t be so lonely all the time. Family, right? That’s what you want. How about you start acting like one.” 

You shook your head after that, grabbing Mammon’s hand and kicking the bags in front of you before dragging Mammon back out the door. “Those are for you, by the way. Not that you deserve them, but they’re Mammon’s way of apologizing for all the things you accused him of the minute he set foot into the house. Have fun. We’re going to the castle and, if we’re lucky, to a real home.”
