This is a brain dead idea. Ppl are ruining it for everyone when they do this dumb shit. This can effect the entire neighborhoodâs pipes. Also if you have a bad landlord they are not going to put the work and money in to properly fix this, so either youâre going to be stuck with clogged pipes or the next renter will have to deal with it. Also ppl that do this ruin it for the rest of us who are decent renters. This is part of the reason security deposits are now sky high, landlords want to make sure they have the money to fix the things their renters break when they throw a tantrum and decide to damage the property. Instead of damaging a perfectly good home, and the plumbing of the entire neighborhood, try and look into creating a renters union or invest time in local government to push for better rent policies. Pouring oil down the drain is lazy, ineffective, and bad for the community and environment.
