webcomic/indie comic from the 2010s. basically a sci-fi short story about a young girl (with red hair?) who was being raised by scientists as part of an experiment. she receives a haircut/has her head shaved, in preparation for her annual brain scan/testing. it is revealed that while her body is human, her "brain" is artificial, made of computer implants throughout her skull and spine. at some point her biological mother (also a scientist on the same campus?) encounters her and is repulsed, viewing her as a machine who has murdered her daughter.

it was very poignant and it bruised my heart and i can NOT find it anywhere

wanted to work on all my personal stuff today but the super chef of the company i work for is sick and one of my coworkers wants me to draw a picture to gift to him and its gotta be done until tuesday ... i haven worked with watercolors in a decade and it SHOWS, spent 5 hours trying to get even just a test done and it looks like babies first watercolor adventure

i get such a sense of primal envy when looking at edwin’s clothes up close because god you can just tell his coat is real wool and made to last and not cheap flimsy mass produced garbage and auggagghhhh that was just STANDARD in his time. by no means am i saying i was #borninthewronggeneration because i like having vaccines and household appliances but. man. to have a personally-tailored coat like that that’d last for years and years……. and fabrics of fine thread-dense quality………. if only

i know in retellings draco always befriends hermione because he's a nerd or whatever but this morning i was thinking of a retelling where draco befriends ron because he literally just bribes him. like he sees that harry won't bother with him and lbr no one wanted to be friends with first year hermione but ron seems like he'd be easily bought and draco's dad told him those are the easiest people to get on your side. and also wouldn't it be fun to steal away harry potter's anointed best friend?

so he's like "i'm willing to forget you laughed at my name on the train" and literally just buys ron things until he stops being indignant. he buys him a new wardrobe. endless sweets and toys. he writes to his mother like "hello i'm working on something here can u help" and narcissa is immediately on board.

and ron totally is easily bought. he really is. he pretends to still hate draco but also his mother taught him some manners so it's only polite to accept the little git's gifts. his siblings are sick with jealousy, it's great.

and slowly ron's like "maybe he's not so bad" and progresses to "yes he's weird but i've gotten him to stop with the slurs so" to actual friendship that harry and hermione eventually come around to, too.

lmao ok Concept: the reason everyone on the team seem to realize that ingellvar rook and lucanis have finally reached third base -- i.e. Meaningful Cake Conversations (romantic and erotic not to say marital connotations) -- even though they don't really act all that obviously differently afterwards is that the monument by the caretaker's shop suddenly and inexplicably changes to the 'Love in Life and Death' statue and can't be changed away from it. and ingellvar's ears go faintly pink every time they walk past it.

Usable Nintendo 3DS for Sims 4

Not the first console I shared here, nor is it the first one I made. Check my ModTheSims for the others I shared so far. Model is from Model's Resource as I can't make those. But all the textures beyond the teal were made by me. This is made from the Slablet so anything that can do, this can do, just looks way more fun. Both screens display, yes, but it's the same on both of course. Ten swatches, all seen above. I actually first made this over 2 years ago, just resized it today as it was a little big so I could screenshot and share it. No it can't close, just pretend your Sims are lazy.

Since we’re on the topic of video games, im tired of these fucking remakes. Ive said it before but i’ll say it again each time. These companies dont wanna invest in an actually good remaster or port and would rather waste their time with these remakes bcuz “ooh look how shiny and better the graphics look!!1!1!1” often times it has an empty feeling because everything has to be ultra realism super 6000. Its gotten so bad that now regular gamers are starting to gaslight you into playing or enjoying them. So much has been lost artistically, (like the cool UI designs) that it’s now considered “juvenile” and that i need to “grow up” and “accept it” 😂
