The house was dark and quiet. Tannufia lay snugly against me, one arm draped across my chest, snoring softly. Everything was cozy and perfect... why had I woken up?

A faint noise caught my attention and I strained my ears. Was that... sniffling?

I carefully lifted Tannufia's arm, rolled out of bed, and moved quietly out to the living room, pulling my nightshirt on as I did. There was no mistaking the noise now. I walked into the girls' bedroom.

Maddie was sprawled on her belly, drooling on her pillow. She wasn't having trouble. But Trajeda was curled up in a trembling little ball, with the sheets over her head, crying softly.

"What's wrong, Blueberry?" I asked, pulling the sheets back a little. She sat up, leaky eyes shut tight, and held her little arms out. "Come 'ere, honey." I scooped my daughter up, holding her close and rocking back and forth a little, like Tannufia and I had done many times before. "S'okay. You just had a bad dream. It's over now. You'll be alright...."

"Daddy!" she sobbed, rubbing her face in my shoulder. "Daddy...." and that was all I could get out of her.

So I thought for a bit. "Hey Blueberry," I said, carrying her out of the room so we wouldn't wake Maddie. "You wanna see somethin'?"

"...H-huh?" she said, lifting her head a little and wiping her eyes.

"I'm gonna show you what nighttime looks like on Earth," I said, grabbing a thick throw off the couch and wrapping it around us.

"Really?" she said, perking up, tears almost forgotten.

"Yeah really. But get yer hat - it's cold out there." I held her up to the hat hooks so she could reach. She put hers on, then grabbed mine and stuffed it on me. It was a little off-kilter, but it'd do its job so I didn't care. I stepped into my boots and carried her out on the porch.

"Whoaaaaa," said Trajeda, staring wide-eyed at the sky. She wasn't allowed outside past her bedtime, and - since she was young and her bedtime was early - she might never have seen the stars before, I wasn't sure.

"Them's the stars, " I said. "They're always there, but the suns are so bright, you only get to see 'em in the winter, and at night."

"They PRETTY," Trajeda breathed, still staring.

"They sure are pretty, Pumpkin."

"Earth got stars too?"

"Sure does," I said. "But Earth's only got one sun, and it's like Peta, it goes down every night. So on Earth you get to see the stars all year long, after bedtime."

"I wanna see Earth," said Trajeda, still dazzled. "The sky so... sparkly!"

"And that ain't the only thing sparkly," I said, stepping off the porch and heading down the street. Hopefully the buuds would be out tonight.... I took the stairs by the gate and came up at the top of the town wall, squinting into the woods. "Hey look," I said, pointing.

"Oooh," said Trajeda.

"Them's the buuds," I said. "They're always glowin' but you only see that in the dark."

"Mama showed me buuds up close once," she said. "They cute!"

"You bet, honey."

"Earth got buuds?"

"Naw," I said. "But it's got fireflies."

"Fireflies?"

"Yes ma'am," I said. "They're bugs that come out at night and light up, kinda like that. Except fireflies turn on and off, so you get a nice field full of 'em and there's all these twinklin' lights in the grass. S'real pretty."

"Lucky," said Trajeda, with a little pout in her lips.

"Hey now, Silen Fah's real pretty too," I said. "Earth don't got buuds, or two suns! An' all the tree trunks are brown."

"All of 'em?"

"Well, there's a few kinds that're white but yeah, pretty much. And Earth don't got farshanthis plants neither," I said, heading back down the stairs and stopping at one of the neighbor's porches, where several were potted. "Also, you don't get people with colorful hair neither," I said. "All the Earth people got is black, brown, red, and yellow. And white if yer old. You don't get nobody like you or yer mama."

Trajeda leaned her head back on my shoulder, with a shy little smile. "Okay, Daddy. Silen Fah pretty too." She fought back a yawn. "Thanks fer showin' me stars."

"Anytime, Blueberry. Let's get you back to bed," I said, turning from the neighbor's porch and going up the street again. Trajeda nestled into the crook of my arm, and by the time I got home, she was peacefully sleeping again. I tucked her carefully in - leaving the warm quilt wrapped around her - and went to curl up with Tannufia again.

Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi (BUÜ) öğrencileri, düzenlenen Hıdırellez etkinliğinde baharın gelişini kutladı. Ateş yakıp üstünden atlayan gençler; ok atma yarışması, halk dansları ve müzik yayınlarıyla keyif dolu bir gün geçirdi.

BURSA (İGFA) – Türk Devletleri ve Akraba Toplulukları Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi (TÜDAM) tarafından organize Hıdırellez şenliğine akademik ve idari personelin yanı sıra öğrenciler de büyük bir ilgi gösterdi. TÜDAM bahçesinde yapılan etkinliğin açılış töreninde BUÜ Rektörü Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz ve Rektör Yardımcısı Prof. Dr. Zekeriyya Arı da hazır bulundu.

REKTÖR’DEN TEŞEKKÜR

Öğrenci topluluklarının kurduğu stantları gezen Rektör Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz törende yaptığı konuşmasında; “Böylesine eğlenceli ve kültürümüzde özel bir yeri olan etkinlikte öğrencilerimizle ve personelimizle buluşuyor olmaktan büyük bir mutluluk duyuyorum. Geçtiğimiz aylarda nevruzu kutlamıştık. Bugün de Hıdırellez’i karşılıyoruz. TÜDAM’ın organize ettiği bu kıymetli etkinliğe öğrenci topluluklarımız da destek verdi. Düzenleyen ve destekleyen herkesi tebrik ediyorum” şeklinde konuştu. 

ÖĞRENCİLER BÜYÜK BİR İLGİ GÖSTERDİ

Organizasyona ev sahipliği yapan TÜDAM Müdürü Doç. Dr. Fatih Gürses ise Hıdırellez’in de nevruz gibi bahar başlangıcında gerçekleştirilen geleneksel bir şenlik olduğuna işaret ederek; “TÜDAM olarak böylesine güzel bir etkinliği düzenlemiş olmak bizleri mutlu ediyor. Çok değerli katılımcılarımız var. Öğrencilerimiz de organizasyonumuza büyük bir ilgi gösterdi. Topluluklarımıza ve programda görev alan herkese teşekkür ediyoruz” dedi.

Türk Dünyası Bilgi Yarışması’nda dereceye girenlere hediyelerinin takdim edildiği etkinlikte güneşin batmasına yakın Hıdırellez ateşi yakıldı. Yörük-Türkmen halk oyunları gösterisinin de gerçekleştirildiği organizasyon Türk dünyası müzikleri konserinin ardından sona erdi.

Sorry for taking so long to answer, I was gonna answer when I got it but then I checked the time and it was quarter to midnight. And then I had one of those mornings where it takes me forever to fully wake up.

I haven't really thought about overall dynamics between them before... I know I've written stuff about them, but I've never properly thought about them if that makes sense? I'll try my best though.

-Futaba's relationship with all the boys is very much big brother/younger sister. Ren is the brother she teams up with to prank people, Ryuji is the brother she plays games with, Yusuke is the one she talks about her interests to, and Goro is the brother she teases mercilessly. And all of them would end you without hesitation if you dared to upset Futaba.

-Makoto and Haru are older sisters of the group. Haru is the supportive older sister that always cheers the others on in everything they do, while Makoto is the more strict and motherly one who basically forces the others to take care of themselves, eat properly and study.

-Ryuji and Sumire are very close and often trade their training regiments and give each other tips. If Sumire worries that one part of her body is weaker than the others (for example, her arms can't seem to handle as much as he legs) Ryuji will suggest exercises to build the muscles in that area. And Sumire looks up tips for training without pushing injuries too far for Ryuji.

-Ann is the matchmaker of the group. If she discovers that one of the members has a crush on someone else, she will do everything in her power to help them hook up. Ren jokes that this is why she is the Lovers Arcana.

-Ren is definitely the most loving and protective of the group, to the point where he works himself half to death to make everything easier for them. So the rest of them make it a point to have at least one day a week where they just pin him down and force him to do nothing all day.

-I've always headcannoned Yusuke as very affectionate but never really being good at displaying said affection. So, since the thieves are his first proper friends, he wants to let them know how much he appreciates them, he just doesn't really know how. So he draws little things for them as a present or awkwardly pats their shoulders or stuff like that. It's a running joke in the group that the highest compliment from Yusuke is if he offers to share his jagariko with you.

-Goro and Ann are basically just mlm wlw solidarity. They often meet up to eat sweets and gossip. Also @renxamamiya and I had a conversation once where we said that they would watch trashy reality shows together and joke and bitch about each week.

-Ren, Makoto, Haru and Sumire are basically the chefs of the group since they're the only ones with cooking abilities, while Ann, Goro and Yusuke are the taste testers because they are gourmets/need to eat more to take proper care of themselves. And Ryuji, Futaba and Morgana are kept out of the kitchen at all costs after... The incident. What is the incident? No one knows, the thieves never speak of it.

IL EST DE RETOUR.

On a regardé les inscrits au Grand Trail des Templiers et un nom nous a fait sursauter : Benoit Cori. Souvenons-nous du casse du siècle en 2014.

Le contexte : Benoit Cori distribue des fessées sur toutes les courses du pays Basque depuis des années. En 2013, il annihile la concurrence sur la Saintélyon à la surprise générale. En 2014, il s'attaque aux Templiers. Cette année-là, le niveau d'excités au mètre carré est tellement élevé qu'on se demande si on ne doit pas mettre une muselière à certains champions tellement la bagarre s'annonce sanglante. En clair, le festival des Templiers 2014 ferait passer un combat de chiens au Mexique pour une puppy party avec des labradors.La suite, c'est Benoit Cori qui régale :

AVANT LA COURSE : « Je me suis restreint au niveau chocolat et alcool et la dernière semaine j'ai vachement fait attention à ma nourriture, ce qui m'a permis d'atteindre un poids de forme de 78kg (ça change des 87kg de mi juillet !) »

LA VEILLE AU SOIR : « Direction le resto pour la dernière pasta party ! Petite Leffe que je savoure (j'ai lu qu'une bière par jour était bénéfique pour la santé, si ça se trouve c'est des conneries mais du coup ça me déculpabilise !). Je me casse bien le ventre et en retournant à la voiture pour aller dormir je me retape quand même 3 pains aux raisins bien dégueulasses (ils étaient un peu périmés…) »

LE MATIN DU MONUMENT : « Je ne prends pas de bouffe car je compte manger une banane entière à chaque ravitaillement et ça devrait suffire. Dans les bidons je tourne au mélange moitié eau, moitié coca. Rien de plus ! »

LE MONUMENT : Benoit Cori remporte donc les Templiers en 06h36'39'' devant Sylvain Court, Alex Nichols, Sage Canaday, Zach Miller et Miguel Angel Heras. Les ricains qui ne connaissaient pas le type ont légèrement bégayé en thaïlandais. Derrière lui, on retrouve aussi des sagouins comme Jonas Buud, Nicolas Martin, Didrik Hermansen et Sébastien Spehler. Pour l'ensemble de son oeuvre, Benoit Cori aurait mérité la légion d'honneur ou plus simplement des pains aux raisins pas périmés.
