the monochromatic colors and the atmosphere of the art itself reminds me of how I've seen old romance movies are portrayed, I love it!

She was so close to him that he could smell her, a pleasant mixture of scents, all light and mingling, the scent both somehow unique to her but deeply nostalgic for Reborn in a way he didn’t understand. His eyes couldn’t figure out where to settle, taking in everything, drinking in her face, slightly flushed, the way she was shyly smiling at him, the way she was leaning into him, almost completely on tiptoe to hold the umbrella up over his head.

Just so you know, I would gladly read that 10-page ReboApp essay anytime hahahaha And for what they like about each other, I get them both so much??!! Apple's fave thing about Reborn being his confidence, since this is something she lacks or struggles with. I'm sure this trait of his inspires Apple to be a bit more comfortable with herself as well and to do her best/make do with what she has. Which then circles back to this trait of hers being Reborn's favorite. She struggles with her flaws but she always does her best despite all of this. This resilience of hers and her ability to adapt/continuous thinking on how to improve being his fave is very teacher-like of him (he really got that tutor mindset so ingrained sjdfhshdfh).

Hello, Dee!!! 

Not gonna lie when I saw that anon ask I got very nervous at first (was just not expecting it) but I was pleasantly surprised to see it was from you so thank you for sending in an ask!  And yes of course it’s okay to ask any questions related to any of my ocs! And this question is particular is so cute!!! 

So to keep myself from writing a 10-page essay where I project and then gush about all the great things about Reborn, I’ll keep it to one thing each that they like about each other ✨

Well, first I want to say the thing that first endears them both to each other, before either realize they’re in love (or falling), is their humour(?)! They both make each other laugh or smile so easily. Without even realizing it and like its second nature. Whether it’s on purpose or even by accident, by action or with words, they’re always able to brighten the other’s mood even on the worst of days and that ends up becoming a solace and something they seek from each other before they even realize it.

This whole thing ended up being longer than I thought so I’m putting the rest under the cut!

Now onto what Apple’s favourite thing about Reborn is… how do you choose just one 🥹?  

For her, one of her favourite things about him is his confidence. The way he always seems so at ease in his own skin, with every word, and with every action he takes. Almost always without a moment of hesitation.

 Even when the most ridiculous things come out of those lips, or he’s up to his usual nonsense, he does it with such little pause that it’s so easy to see how most others end up just going along and barely questioning him. 

That sorta confidence is rare in most people, but it's especially foreign for someone like Apple who struggles with her self-image a lot and is always doubting herself. So it’s not only something she admires in him but also something about him that she makes him reliable and strong in her eyes. Knowing she can always trust his choices, and feeling comfortable seeking his advice or rely on him when she’s in need (even if it's just an emotional need. She finds his confidence rather infectious at times).

As for what’s one of Reborn’s favourite things about Apple… it’s her resilience! Well, perhaps that’s not the right word, but I’m struggling to come up with the correct word right now, so bear with me as I try to explain. 

The thing about Apple is she is weak in a lot of ways. She’s aware of her faults, but even so, she always strives to do and be better. She is always looking to improve herself, whether that’s in her craft or just improve herself as a person (for better or for worse, depending on how you look at it lol). And that’s one of the things Reborn admires about her too. 

I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s never a straight and easy process for her. Sometimes it'll be one step forward two steps back. She’ll often whine, pout, cry or even say she’s giving up, and that it’s not worth it. But Reborn knows her. Knows she’ll say that and then soon enough will be getting back up and trying again and again until she’s satisfied. And when she’s done with that, she’s still thinking about the ways she can be better and grow as a person. I guess in a way she's very fortunate to have found someone patient enough to go through the unstable process with her lol. 

And so that’s that!

shfvhgfvgsv so sorry Apple, they are just very energetic teenagers brimming with Christmas spirit! Would she be the type to go 🥺🥺🥺 if Kurumi started going "Thank you so much for the food, Apple-nee ! 🥰" 😆😆😆 But tbh, I believe food truly will be able the most effective at stopping them hahahaha

Though Apple may be onto something with the Reborn connection! KanaRumi (and Yui by association) are also under Reborn's tutelage in some way, Reborn also became a mentor for Momina for a short period before (iirc) and then finally, there's Miruku who is straight up Reborn's apprentice! 🤣🤣🤣

But Butter I don't know what you mean by Kanarobo being scary 😃 Kurumi and Yui said she's cute! Look at her flying straight at you with a totally not menacing look!

Just as the Christmas celebrations are about to end, a loud noise suddenly started blasting out from outside the house/residence. The noise consists of a very loud christmas carol music accompanied by singing of varying…energy (50% expressive, 50% emotionless). When Apple goes to check what it's all about, she was greeted by a bunch of very familiar faces.

They don't seem to plan on leaving unless they are given something, anything as a reward/compensation for their performance. What would Apple do in this situation? 👀✨

Apple:

Internally thinking: “Aah, it’s so noisy… at least they’re cute 🥲”

Externally says: *opens door wider* “Please everyone come in! I have tea and snacks!! Take the time to warm up and chat for a bit too ❤️✨🥰”

Somewhere in the back of her mind she is wondering if Reborn planned this to add some chaos into her peaceful evening lol

Mammon I'm sorry but you would be her first target she knows you got the money There's a more serious answer with spoilers I'm sure but in my mind I just keep imagining her doing all these morally corrupt get rich quick schemes 😆 Maybe she'd even try to get Luce to join a MLM and use her influence to climb the top of that pyramid fast... Reborn I'm sorry to say this but those expensive, one of a kind, guns of yours are gonna end up on the market I think. Just know in a world where there are no consequences for her and she doesn't have to worry about morals she would be a lot richer and everyone else would be a lot sadder(poorer) …and pissed off at her

i'm absorbing this info and updating my apple knowledge base 🫡🫡✨✨😍 i love the concept of her being an art gallery owner, since it really fits her previous job asjfbhdsvfdsh but also i love the game Ib so much and bc of it i personally would like to attend an art gallery/exhibit for an artist that i like hehe

speaking of charity events, makes me wonder how feasible it would be for apple to become a some sort of fundraising event organizer like the main group mystic messenger (RFA - Rika's Fundraising Association), if you're familiar with this game shdfvhsdvfhsdvf

Been thinking about what Apple does post-canon (not just post khr canon but post her story canon as well) as she's not affiliated with any specific mafia famiglia and, for reasons I can't mention because of spoilers, she can't work her previous job of making forgeries (which I don't even think I've gone into detail about here yet lol). So for a while I just said she made investments and stuff like that but it was so vague...

But! I have finally found something that suits her well and makes sense for her story! She owns a Art Gallery! A gallery where she displays her private collection of famous paintings, statues, and other works of art some real some fake but it's up to you to figure out which is which ;). And of course they have displays and exhibits from local artists as well and "sometimes" she launders money and helps others launder money.

And of course she hosts plenty of different charity events and also tries her best to raise awareness on the importance preserving the arts it's totally not just a tax write off I promise ❤️

Arcobaleno's Kids Part One: Reborn

I am here to introduce Reborn and my OC Apple's children, the twins Luna, and Luciano, and their younger brother Nico! (from left to right it's Luna, Nico, and Luciano).

This is a repost from my old art account (original post was privated a while back for a few reasons) so if this looks familiar that's why!

content warning for brief mention of unplanned pregnancy in the next paragraph (none others in the rest of the post):

I headcanon that Reborn really didn’t want kids. With his profession and reputation they’re nothing but a risk and he doesn’t want kids to be raised in that sort of environment/lifestyle it’s not even that publicly known he’s married in order to avoid the danger that comes with having a “weakness”. Thus, the twins were an accident. Then after a few years of raising the twins he realizes how much he likes having kids and is sorta sad to see them growing up so fast (he would never admit it out loud though) so he starts wanting another. I just think it’s a funny idea that the guy who never wanted kids ends up loving being a dad and wanting more lol. 

Some more info about them below 👇 

Luna is the elder twin. She’s very outgoing and charismatic. And also mischievous and playful as well. She’s definitely her father’s daughter as she’s a bit bossy and likes things to go her way. Is especially skilled in combat and using a gun, like Reborn, but doesn’t have much interest in carrying on his legacy or being involved in the mafia (Something he is actually rather relieved about). But also I like to believe Reborn would make sure all his kids can defend themselves properly at all times honestly.

(should be noted that in some scenarios and AUs she does end up pursuing a lifestyle in the mafia/underworld. Often as a hitman or even marrying into a mafia family. These are often considered sorta “BadEnd” routes for her though.)

Luciano is the younger twin. Is the spitting image of his father in terms of appearance but is more subtle in expressing his personality. He is the more reserved, and sensitive one of the twins. To others he can come off as apathetic and maybe a bit stuffy but he’s just not very good at expressing himself (or even he kinda considers it a waste of energy to show stronger emotions to people he’s not close with). He has a special interest in mechanics and was definitely a lego kid growing up (and probably still is).  Fun fact: Luciano was named after and in honor of Luce!

The twins have a very typical sibling bond where they bicker and argue but still care for each other a lot. Though with the amount they argue and get on each other’s nerves people would often assume they don’t get along at all…

Nico is the baby of the family. He takes after his mother more in appearance and he is heavily spoiled and doted on by the rest of his family (especially their father but once again he’d never admit it). Unlike his older siblings who tend to have a bit of a mean streak, he is actually very outwardly gentle and kind. Sometimes Reborn will look at him and wonder how a man with a past as bloody as his could raise such a sweet soul tho in reality he’s actually darker and more manipulative than what he seems. A wolf in sheep’s clothing if you will.

I also have since come up with a concept for a 4th child that only comes up in very specific scenarios and AUs so maybe one day I'll share more about them as well!
