what if the ghouls are just souls inhabiting bodies and What if summoning a ghoul requires a human vessel, meaning the clergy just randomly takes people. what if some group of people just was trying to summon demons for fun and ended up being a vessel or they just ran off quickly leaving the soul of the ghoul just to wander for eternity without a body.

"I can't believe CDPR made one of the romance options a COP" River is a cop for literally two thirds of a mission that is dedicated to uncovering the depths of police corruption in Night City, gets immediately booted from the force BECAUSE he tried to stand up to said police corruption, spends the rest of the game pursuing detective work outside the law, and in the base game mentions he's going to start work as a private eye so he doesn't have to return to the force in order to keep protecting people.

The only instance where the "River is a Cop" joke is funny is using it in the context of Johnny being pissy about it, which should probably tell you how low hanging that particular fruit probably is.

On the topic of Wriothesely knowing French or not: Hear me out, he's a duke so he does know upper class words. It's just that Neuvilette has a ridiculous vocabulary and is fond of old/obscure words that are very specific, so Wriothesely suffers anyway.

Yeah i do think back in his orphanage days he was given slightly above average education but he doesn't really need it in the fortress, then after he's the administrator he has to pick up more upperclass words for business relations.

But yeah i agree Neuv is OLD old, he came from ancient fontaine and has been a noble for centuries, he would know super old fontainian words noone uses anymore AND super fancy words noone but noblemen uses.

If wrio being mad or lost in thoughts makes him default to brit-english then neuv would default to ancient fontanian tongue and wrio would wonder what the fuck does beneisson means

If you put 4 people who speak Romance languages in a room, they can all sort of understand each other. I LOOOVEEE your comics and the silly-willy art style, i was reading the comics when it hit me "yo, I can sorta understand some words???" THEN I SAW THE BAH POST ABOUT BRAZIL. Congrats, it's a wild Brazilian!

We use Bah here as a surprised expression. Like "Baaah, she's dead?" Or "Bah, that's dope". There's the good surprised Bah, the disappointed Bah and the "what the fuck is this" Bah. Also, come to Minas Gerais, they love cheese and you will be VERY well received, we love visitors (seriously we love visitors, we will talk your ear off)

Ohh I'm taking notes ! Learning little stuff like that about spoken languages is so interesting ! It's always fun to listen and/or read and realize there's similarities from one language to another ! Though sometimes even if the languages are similar there can still be confusion and yeah the first exemple hat always comes to mind is the gato/gâteau sounding the exact same but not being the same thing at all. But that just makes the situation funnier imo
