those 7 are doctor octopus, kraven the hunter, venom, green goblin, norman osborn whos separate to gobby in this cause i saw that idea and was inspired, the rhino and sandman

ok so doc ock in this universe is as per usual otto octavius and hes a man in his late 40s who wears hawaiian shirts all the time

i love raimiverse so rosie is here too and married to him and shes trying her best

so his backstory is he made the arms to make a safer and more direct form of manipulating control rods in nuclear reactors, but he didnt believe 1. it would fail or 2. anyone but him would be up for doing the test run, instead he opted for a "if you want something done right do it yourself" approach

and taking a moment to say the plant he picked out for the demostration is where pearl foggers, our spiderperson here, dad and stepmum work

thats a surprise tool that will help no one later

so the demostration happens and everything seems to work as planned but during the whole immediate celebration the power started rising uncontrollably and caused a explosion, of the people in the room with him otto was the only survivor due to the fact he wasnt able to move from where he was standing and had the arms to shield him

he ends up really fucked up from this cause of both shrapnel and burns but also radiation exposure cause while the rest of the plant were able to shut down the reactor so there was only about a minute or so of it being open thats still a lot of radiation and also of course the bog standard getting fused to the arms

and furthermore it takes a good few hours for rescuers to get to him so he was just stuck pinned down and surrounded by dead bodies for a bit which isnt very good for your mental health yknow

anyway he finally gets rescued and then has to spend three months in a isolation ward to recover which is incredibly painful considering the amount of damage and is made worse cause everything he was wearing that could be removed had to be destroyed including his wedding ring

only to find once hes given the clear that he can go home that hes being painted as villain for the accident even through he tried everything he could to stop the power rise and has no idea what caused it

and his reaction to this is "if theyre going to call me a villain, a villain i shall be"

shes this 6'7 woman who is just as insane as any other kraven out there and its great, like she will start mauling you and also due to the fact ill have to remake her ref she is going around tits out while doing all of this too

so pearls best friend is this kid called daisy peachley and theyve both been friends for years bonding over being nonbinary and not neurotypical cause pearls autistic and daisy has adhd

but the problem is daisy has a MASSIVE crush on pearl but pearl doesnt feel the same way cause ones aroace but hasnt jhgfgh had that realisation yet

some infomation about daisy is pen is fostered but isnt exactly in the best situation aka the apartment is full of other foster kids who are all being basically neglected so daisy spends pens time out of the house

this all leads to one day at like 4am daisys out and about as per usual but instead of just messing around shes having a bad time and is doign some arson cause as kids pen and pearl used to spend a lot of time in this lil tiny shack they made for funsies and daisy has been maintaining it ever since while pining over the feelings and pens had enough and burns it to the ground

as this is happening pen sees something fall from the sky and as a 13 year old who is going through it she decides to check it out

and if youve seen the blob then we have the scene were dan the can man picks up the blob with a stick and it falls onto his hand but its daisy seeing the symbiote

obviously this is very scary to a child but whats more scary? the sound of people approaching!! so daisy makes a break for it

and then doesnt show up to school for a week to get used to this situation

now kjhgfghj the problem comes with a angry traumatised 13 year old being combined with venom so pens foster parents get cronched and then the two of them are just doing the worst way to cope with all these feelings by taking it out on everyone

Lucifer (S)

perma stressed in practice, not only does he have to juggle his regular work, he has to wrangle all his brothers and keep the order to make sure that it goes smoothly. without everyone goofing off.

i mean,,, coordinating the attacks is a setter’s job. and they get to touch the ball a lot. do u think lucifer would take sets from anyone else? no i think not.

also a really strong server. loud, high velocity, and a nasty spin that makes it go straight to the ground. 

ull never see this man dive after the ball hes the setter yknow so he trusts his team to bring the ball to him with a smooth pass.

ok wait maybe he might trust satan to handle attacks but not always.

there was a game where the opponents had super analyzed lucifer’s strategy and would keep shutting down his sets, while beel was doin p good he didn’t want to overexert him and he started rushing his sets

satan wasn’t having any of it and called lucifer out on it. said that they needed to switch it up.

and boy was the opponent in for a new kind of hell. when you put this boy on the offense-

he’s daring you to try and block him. but face it, you Can’t. this boy is a Monster.

Mammon (L)

uhhh was abt to put him as mb, and go on some spiel where lucifer sets to him a lot bcs mammon has the speed to keep up w his tosses

but thinking abt it more,,, having him as libero makes sense. bcs hes the shortest–*mcshot*

got the best fuggin control. those receives *chefs kiss* perfection. the arc, the parabola HGNNN.

has the speed and agility to go after really far out balls and save them with his leg/foot. has definitely jumped into the crowd/over a barrier for a receive multiple timess.

hes the guy who gets ragged on the most during practices (bcs lucifer wants perfect a-receives like wth lucifer you’ve got like 5 other receivers--) but he also hypes up everyone when team spirit’s are down during a game.

Leviathan (MB)

super analytical of his opponents, can quickly pinpoint weak spots in their defense.

doesn’t get fooled by time delay attacks or pipes.

hes more quiet and sometimes forgets to communicate when hes focusing really hard on the match.

he’s that kind of blocker who makes you feel like you can only spike a certain way in order to not get caught by the block

imagine you’re avoiding his block so you go for a cross court spike but you just spiked it right to mammon. oof.

but he does get p tilted when hes not performing at his best or when he gets tooled (his biggest pet peeve as a blocker because that’s not fair the blockers are there to stop the ball from crossing the net but no apparently you can also use the blockers as a way to score points thats plain unfair.) and can sometimes beat himself up p badly. his bros are there to snap him out of it and focus on the game.

Satan (MB)

during practice (and even during some games) he likes to experiment with different lineups and switch up player positions. as a result hes got p rounded out skills.

i mean,,, it just kinda makes sense. he seems like the kind of player who could easily deduce where the ball’s going to go. the one who times the three-man blocks.

bro he does not hold back at all when he spikes. even if he’ll be blocked. he will try to spike through. and the scary thing is,,, the more worked up he is, the harder his spikes get.

for the most part tho p solid all around, sometimes even sets (when lucifer’s in a bad spot see above) 

that cheeky mb who’d make scathing remarks to the other team if they make rudimentary mistakes. things like calling their blocks a sieve stuff like that.

if u somehow manage to piss him off during a game good luck his spikes are now 10x harder rip to your arms.

Asmodeus (WS)

during practices hes the type of player who would do a spin and a twirl right before serving the ball. does it during practices, has done it during actual matches. 

has a fanclub and they show up during practices and theyre so fuggin noisy--- but he revels in the attention

theres a certain flair and grace in his movements that you just cant help but get drawn in. but oop- dont get distracted bcs oop he was just a decoy and you just look like a fool now.

he doesn’t hit as hard when he spikes. but,,,BUT,,,he tools the blockers. he aims for the sides of their arms to get the ball sucked in or the edges of their fingers to get a wipe and it’s literally so fucking annoying ngghghrh

sometimes, when he’s doing two-man or three-man blocks, he knows he gets targeted as the shorter blocker, so he makes sure to switch with someone taller right at the last second.

also joins satan in playing mind games with the opposing blockers. he’ll act all charming and friendly at first, and then he’ll start roasting their form. but then other times he chats up the opposing players and tries to get their number. 

Beelzebub (WS)

sometimes, when they go on runs, he breaks away from the group w belphie to go stop by somewhere to eat. now lucifer makes them run in the front of the group to keep an eye on them.

strong side hitter. that’s it. he’s their ace.

no block can stop him. lucifer’s strong, but beel has raw brute force thats just a bit stronger

good luck trying to. but you’re just gonna get your arm ripped off.

also a really strong server but doesn’t have as much control as lucifer does.

even in the back, his backrow spikes are still super fucking strong good luck to the opponents.

whenever hes up to serve, he reminds everyone to watch their heads. (mammon didn’t listen and went down one time during a practice game now he makes sure to steer clear of the ball’s path when beel’s up to serve.)

Belphegor (WS)

during practice, you’re hardly ever going to get him to do more than the bare minimum. 

so you know kunimi from haikyuu? that’s exactly his playstyle.

minimal movement, no wasted energy. until the latter half of the game.

oh man, again? he’s going for a third spike a-fucking-gain?

lowkey makes you wanna drop the ball just so this dam rally ends quickly

HELL YEAH!!! sorry this is delayed i was rlly tired this weekend for no reason sdgjdhgdfg (this is more analysis than headcanon at points but ill try to work in headcanons too)

phineas, ferb, candace, baljeet, and doof are definitely autistic so i’ll focus on them. i also like irving and maybe isabella being autistic but those five are Definite

phineas and doof also have adhd and candace is comorbid with Something Else but since i project my mental health onto her i need to figure out what im comorbid with first lol

ferb is partially nonverbal which is obvious but he does have strong passions and feelings, he just expresses them sort of clinically and straightforwardly.

even phineas struggles with complex emotions and usually just focuses on positivity, because really dire situations can make him have a legit meltdown if he processes them (summer belongs to you, night of the living pharmacists, etc). some emotions are just easier to work with than others yknow? and you subscribe to a certain outlook and when things dont fit with that outlook you panic.

phineas is also really bad at reading people and thats why he never gets isabellas crush on him or that candace wants to get him in trouble.

phineas and ferb make their own stim toys, and have definitely gone above and beyond. a giant castle made of sparkly slime, the world’s longest tangle toy, a 100-sided fidget cube, infinite chewing rings where your teeth never leave marks so you can chew on them forever...they can share with every neurodivergent kid in the area. honestly i wanna write a fanfic where they make an autism-based theme park with this sort of stuff!

the gelatin episode was basically just them pursuing the sensory goodness of bouncy jelly

candace is very secretive abt her autism even tho she stims a lot and, like, sits in certain ways for optimal comfort and such, and her special interests in busting her bros/her boyfriend/ducky momo/certain bands/etc are Very Obvious. but her friends support and love her even tho shes insecure and they sometimes struggle for a while to adjust to her needs.

her brothers rlly want her to be more confident but its difficult bc theyre the savants and everyone loves them bc they have a productive creative special interest in building and being imaginative but she just gets so easily distracted so she feels less productive :(

(also i like the idea of stacy being autistic too which is why she’s sometimes late to the punch observing things and has a similar inferiority complex as candace and they totally bonded over these issues)

candaces whole ‘busting’ obsession is very much about her obsession with rules and order and keeping thing predictable and under control, though as the show progresses she warms up to her brothers’ behavior because it is, in its own way, predictable

candace rlly struggles with being seen as an Adult because shes been infantilized her whole life due to her emotional issues, and she still doesnt rlly know what being an adult truly entails outside of controlling her younger siblings, she copes a lot with her childhood passions and aesthetics since its easier than changing with the times. but once she has to get to college and everything then she adapts well and as we see turns her passions into a successful law career!

baljeets special interest in math is obvious but also he struggles a lot with expressing his emotions too, he has his own routines both in scheduling and the role-playing nature in his dynamic with buford, and tends to find things funny that nobody else does because of his niche interests

doof isnt diagnosed but perry knows how to accommodate his symptoms bc theyre similar to how candace, phineas, and ferb can behave at times, ie being socially clueless, needing to rehearse things, having narrow interests and passions they can focus on for hours, etc.

also doof does raptor hands a lot to the point its lampshaded

i can see doof having a lot of stims and doing a lot of stimmy things without realizing it, i think he chews on things sometimes for instance. he gets overstimulated easily and it gets him really pissy (theres always so much noise and light outside his building) so he needs something to ground himself which is why the routines with perry help.

everyone on this show is so routine oriented, like, its mostly a meta joke but everybody has a certain way they say things, theres a basic structure for how their day has to go and if it doesnt follow that structure they panic. baljeet has his color coded schedule in the most obvious example, phineas and ferb have their catchphrases and need to create one big new thing every day, candace has busting, doof has his dynamic with perry, etc. any time these routines are disrupted they notice and it feels very Off to everyone.

also i talked about my scifi story for like half an hour (to myself, natch) and figured out that a good way to handle the AB thing is not to have A decide to ruin the plan out of nowhere by trying to get back to the army base, setting off the system and putting B at risk because Oh Shit. its to have A be arrested for like. hacking and shit, planetside. And, of course, they take ID in that arrest (which would place the criminal mark next to B, whose only crime has been impersonation with permission and some minor licensing shenanigans that come from that), but they also take dna/biometric data, because, yknow, Fake Ids, etc. and yknow, they get the data from A, and it shows up as them being A, and everyones like :T HMMM. A is adamant that they are B, but their colleagues who were arrested with them kinda fuck that by referring to them as A (yknow, Shenanigans).

meanwhile B is at space bace. tries to call A like they’ve been doing semi-regularly, fails. assumes theyre busy. next day, tries again, fails, decides to call their younger bro, who goes ‘yea they got arrested by the govt’ ‘they WHAT? Put mum on the line!’ and all that ensues. they don’t tell B what A did (mum says ‘i dont think im allowed to tell you’) but B is panicking. because Oh, Fuck. the best case scenario is that they assume A is B and B gets a criminal recod, but that fucks over B, who is currently pretending to be A, so like, what are they supposed to do? How long are they going to have to pretend to be A, and will they want to swap back at all if it means suddenly having a record for crimes they didn’t commit? the more likely outcome is that they figure out the switch, and oh GOD, OH NO.

Before the army base can be properly informed about the ongoing Situation (info was delayed because A demanded a lawyer, as you do) B gets sent on another mission with the squad, which helps put their actions into an emotional context. Explains why, when seeing D charge up a terrifying direct hit to a stationary C (whose ship had already been hit and was essentially ‘floating’ while she tried to manually fix one of the broken systems), B goes ‘fuck that’ and does a manual lightspeed jump to intercept the shot, which breaks through their shields and sends them fucking careening off into the void of space because getting hit at near light speed fucks you up real good. like, okay, fucking incredible maneouver, would have worked significantly better if the summonable shields for standard class weren’t Not Super Great, and also if D hadn’t fucking charged shot the bastard. fucking nyoom off into the void, 90% of the reason B fucking blacks out during that is that they got hit on an angle and fucking corkscrewed into the void like babe no amount of gravity stabilisers on the inside are gonna prevent you from wanting to vom, and thats assuming the gravity stabilisers weren’t fucked with IN THE HIT.

i guess the broad strokes is that A gets arrested, and before B can be like, questioned about it re:identity, they get fucked up real good on the last mission because part of them goes ‘if im gonna go to prison after this i might as well go to prison having saved my friends life’ and boom bitch, an unconscious pilot in a corkscrewing spaceship rocketing away from the encounter because theres noone at the wheel to hit the brakes. wild. theyre fine, as soon as L sees whats happened and processes what the FUCK just happened they basically immediately go ‘OH SHIT’ and completely disengage from the fight with D to chase after B’s runaway ship. shenanigans, etc etc, eventually everyones safe and back at base and B’s out fucking cold in the med bay and then like the resolution of that whole thing happens i guess? the fact A is not in orbit sorta messes with the original idea which is that both A and B would fly together, but A’s kinda under arrest for hacking like govt secrets of something trying to uncover the truth behind the DECAF ambush (i love that thats the acronym for the squad it kills me so bad) which means that if the story is entirely set in space, A never actually physically makes an appearance, which is hilarious. does complicate matters because its like, okay, so we’ve gotten a confession from B that they are, in fact, not A, and that they have committed that Worst of Crimes, impersonation with permission. at that point the folks have a few options. Jail B for ~crimes~, or let B continue to fly. Their squad would probably argue in their defence, with C’s testimony on the matter being particularly important from a procedural and emotional standpoint, since C has flown with both A and B. And that previously, C had something of a falling out with B where she almost accused them of being a different person. its more complex than that, but its like. yknow. turn around. willing to recognise the good in it, provided she eventually gets answers from the actual A, which B promises to set up once A isn’t, yknow, in lock up. And they’d be looking at B’s record, noting that they are a qualified pilot and attended flight school before transferring out to becoming a mechanic, that their criminal record is clean bar this shenanigannery and the confusion re: A’s hacking, and that their actual flight record during their time pretending to be A is. pretty fucking solid. Like. B has done nothing wrong aside from impersonate someone, and beyond that has just. done their job. they’ve followed orders, they’ve saved people, they’ve taken down enemy combatants, etc etc. and they go ‘you know what? we dont have the luxury of time to slot a new person into that squad to replace you, and so on, so forth, do fuck it! you can stay! but the moment things ebb, you will be on the first ship back to the planet to be dealt with’ and B’s like That’s Honestly Better than I thought that would go, so that works.

the only bit about all this thats iffy is trying to make sure A is still... relevant? that their presence, their actual presence, it felt somehow, so that all the shenanigans don’t come from nowhere. and also to have the information A obtained from The Hackening be useful somehow. like, its about the DECAF thing, and proves something about the incident, like that the space fleet knew D’s ship was active the entire time and did nothing about it, or some shit. thats the issue, cause i feel like being able to know anything about that incident requires explaining what D’s motives are, since its presumably tied into The Truth, and i dont knooow

esther, right. it makes sense for her to be part of the group that travelled to Divinice for secret shit, because she’s a good soldier and she’s a good communicator, very earnest, knows a lot of information, etc. it DOESNT make sense to send her to the parade. she definitely wants to go, and she probably had all the shit she needed to do so (paint, wig, etc) but it would be foolish to send her. instead, her group likely contained one of the human soldiers from Stolisia (who aren’t very common but do exist) or a similarly placed individual. and they would be on the phone with her during the parade (likely using Divinitian phones that they borrowed from kind folk in Black River, which is common practice)

theres a whole set up for it. esther and her group drive across the border, park in a specific spot near the river and a lil away from the town, then walk in. the town know them (especially esther, who has been a staple of stolisian border crossings since she joined the army 2-3 years ago) and they have the system. a few of the residents alternate in lending their cars, a few lend their living rooms for a few hours so the group arent in broad daylight, phones, etc. theyre all reimbursed, naturally, because they’re friends. pay for gas, pay for the phone bill, etc.

for the parade, esther sets up in a regulars house. they cant afford to go to the parade, but a friend of theirs can. so the human members pile into that car and head off into the city for the parade. when they arrive, they call esther, who sits in the living room and chats to the human soldier. perhaps in a video call, necessitating the wig (tho she could just have her phone camera face out and into her lap? ill admit to having never done a video call on a phone). the soldier wanders, records a lot of it, while esther and the host laugh and joke and tell them stuff. they just look like tourists, yknow. esther’s taking notes furiously, as is her job. eventually the parade wraps up and the call stops. the group comes back, they park, they maybe have dinner somewhere. the soldiers pay the families for their trouble (occasionally this is done in gifts. especially for families that regularly host them, they get personalized gifts. like if the mom hosts, and its the daughters birthday soon, the troops will bring that lil girl a present for her birthday as a small part of their payment. which means a lot to the people in black river since its not a very rich place to be)

so esther probably isn’t at the parade. which is unfortunate. she would still notice seora in the recording and ask questions, so it works on her front. it does mean that seora has never /really/ seen her before (she did technically meet Esther at the border tho).

it also means that Divinice now has no real excuse for the capture of the diplomats, because the spies werent caught. the only way for them to discover than the human soldiers were spies and not tourists would be if they had accidentally committed a separate crime and been taken in, revealing a lack of identification. but at that point, you also assume that the soldiers all have fake (or maybe even genuine) passports from a friendly country that they can use to get out of that. so the delay on working out that theyre stolisian would be..... quite a while, and would depend on the crime severity. its not as tho the soldiers about to murder a guy on divinitian soil. these spies are purely for intel designed to help with diplomacy.

so essentially divinice just captured those diplomats for no reason other than Ilsa being sick and fucking tired of it. you could potentially argue it as a direct response to the arrival of the stolisian president at the border, which is a bit...... strange, as an event. yes, Thalia has been reaching out the whole time via her diplomats and representatives on the fantasy!un, and the meeting at the border was reportedly quite peaceful. but the fact of the matter is that her arrival, with a fully armed military escort (albeit not in combat gear, but STILL) shook a lot of people. the border guards, who are used to the diplomats, are basically ok with it. but the maidens present for the cleansing were very shook, and that spreads quickly. the border heads were infuriated at the sudden arrival. its a threat to Divinice, they say. the leader of a ‘hostile foreign power’ appearing at their border without warning and an armed escort? nothing short of a declaration of tensions. and it was a bit of a mistake from Thalia to attend herself - likely her diplomat wouldve accomplished just as much and with less backlash from Divinice. but theyre desperate to fix the issue that Divinice has the power to solve and should WANT to solve, yknow.

Divinice saw Thalia coming to the border as a sign that Stolisia was starting to get mighty uppity. angling for a fight. so when they remember that the same group of diplomats have been trying to cross the border for a year they go ‘hmm, maybe this will make them go away’. perhaps it wasnt intended to become a full on capture. maybe it was just intended as a brief detainment. bring them across, get them settled, then tell them to fuck off and send them back home. then it sort of escalated due to miscommunication and the fact that the diplomats had an armed escort and now the whole group of like 8 people are in a holding room /somewhere/ and noone in Stolisia knows where or why.

essentially a series of mistakes. which is fair. but it then means divinice has nothing to stand on, which is entirely their fault. all they can do is deny that they are holding the diplomats and continue pressuring stolisia over the suspected kidnapping of Seora Cho. it just ends up being a pissing match, really.

but uhhh yea. the small group of regular border crossers have a few regulars they hang with. they very rarely stay overnight where possible, arriving in the early morning and leaving in the evening (they then stay in a very small base just south of the border built for the explicit purpose of acting as a place of rest between divinice and the more major military bases in the country).

esther probably does still need her disguise anyway, like in order to actually get into the town. /pretty much/ everyone in black river is pro-stolisia, or at least indifferent, but you can never be sure that there wont be officials in the area. hence, fake passports and disguises.

im thinking the big Fires in Urica took place just a year ago - that way i can have all that evocative bushfire country without having to explain why its been so bad for so long. can have ruins n burnt out cars and shit. i mean, youd assume the cars would be gone, but theres probably some around. like, i thinking one location near Gym 6 is the ‘Scorched Forest’ - wasn’t always its name, but it will be many years before its original name is fitting again. its full of firey pokemon and probably some Komalas. and i thinking on the route through the forest, there could be burnt out cars there, that people abandoned as they realised they couldnt make it north and fled back south, to town. itll be probably be all around the lake and a bit further north along the route to the next town.

plus it means that the idea of the Org slowly eroding at the status of gym leaders is actually happening. Even if its because of an event the org/team weren’t involved in (i fucking hope), theyll take advantage of this fact. they are similarly waiting on the 8th gym leader to make a slip. They ARE aware of the laundering, of the money stealing, but they’re waiting for a public slip, or a good moment to capitalise on this knowledge to swoop and kick the out.

the only gym leader who doesnt strictly fit this mold is Isaac, who is firmly in the Org’s hands as an ally. but thats part of the idea - theyre supposed to be the orgs connection to the people. theyre an authority - they ARE a gym leader! and if they’re suggesting the gym leaders are failing in their duty, you’re inclined to believe them, yknow! so, if the Org can find a few ‘good’ gym leaders, convince them to side with them, they’ve got it all in the palms of their hands. Sonya is probably the only real spanner in the works because she’s very vocal about how irresponsible the Org firefighters were during the Big Fires by listening to the Gym Leader at the cost of peoples lives. shes basically the only problem. all the other gym leaders fall neatly into place. except for maybe gym 5, which would explain the delivery your character is sent on - Felicity would very much like to start making connections with 5 so she can keep a better eye on him and catch him if he slips, which he inevitably will. of course, 5 is so astoundingly lazy that this actually fails, because he makes you take it to the mayor of a near by town instead, because he refuses to deal with it. an older man who tries his best and thus is of little use to the Org.

the plan of the Org, really, is to dismantle the gym leaders while boosting their own ‘ratings’, if you will, so that eventually there will be noone to prevent them holding total control. the order of events gets a little shaky, but be assured that throughout ANY Team events in the game, the Org is sabotaging the gym leaders to make them look incompetent. except for a few, like Isaac, who they are deliberately securing as a power base. the city is very safe. there are a couple of slips, mostly because sometimes something has to happen (something such as what will probably introduce you to the Team :D). thats when they call Rhia in. in fact, ooh ooh, ooooooooh. i can play into that with when Rhia meets you. like shes telling you to watch out for Elliot, that he isnt super trustworthy, and then she has to leave, hence not getting into specifics. because SHE, over any other police officer, is called to handle an occurence in the city - because shes the least mobile. yknow, w/ the walking stick. she’s faster than they think, but you can only go so fast. though, if theres an event with Rhia in the city, that doesnt really let me do the whole ‘skip the gym’ thing.... hmm. well, it doesnt necessarily, but.... hm. there was definitely going to be an event in 3rd town, with Will, but having Rhia in that seems like overkill. we’ll just say the city is Safe. until the whole Fuck Shit, anyway.

what causes that, anyway? is it staged as like, a Team raid? an Org lockdown? both?? just a big fuck off confrontation. like, i guess the idea is that Team/Org is preparing to find the Legendary pokemon (whooo areeeee where???? where????? the east??????) and the Team is supposedly trying to attack the Org headquarters to prevent them interfering. so the city is in chaos as they come under Team attack (with a Team that seems suspiciously numerous) but you, having learnt the truth while you were in town 8 (theres a base there and Zeke probably tips you off, or Elliot, or both) strike at the Org tower with your bros to try and fuck them up. then you get to the top (dealing with Rhia and your rival, possibly) and fight Felicity and Dante, and both of them fucking scatter. just phoop right outta there. go ‘oh fuck’ and leave. whether they then both head for the legendary or just Dante, im not sure. i think the idea is that they split up, with Felicity attempting to salvage the Org, and Dante going to finish the Team shit, because someones gotta do it. course you kick his ass, he gets arrested (by the Champion, odds on), and you’ve done it. gj, buddy. Felicity PROBABLY intended to meet back up with Dante so she could take the legendary off of him and present it to the public. the thing with this event now, with you throwing a spanner in the works, is that now they have noone to frame. you already arrested Small Fry earlier (uh, nooorth? around SOnya’s town but not actually related to Sonya. well, not explicitly. the implication is that theyre probably trying to fuck her over), and while Jun was supposed to be there, in order to take the fall, he is currently still in the City dealing with the fucking riot shit. Rhia has gone AWOL in the sense that Dante sure as shit cant contact her (shes either like. in the city helping. contacting the International Police. or like. chasing down Felicity but with a huge delay so shes substantially behind). There’s noone left for Dante and Felicity to throw under the bus except each other, and they cant Do that. Dante probably has a few grunts with him, who were scoping the place in advance, but none of them are Big enough to take the fall adequately. theyre stuck. its a desperation move. instead of taking the legendary as the Orgs property, he plans to take it as th Team’s property, and if he’s not seen with it, he’s still fine. he’ll delay the big confrontation until a time when he can set someone up. he’ll capture the legendary and flee. of course, you arrive before Felicity ever can, defeat him, free/tame the legendary, and the Champion also arrives to fuck up his day. nicely done.

this went tangential as fuck but i suppose the summary is - the org is slowly eroding trust in the League by presenting themselves as the superior defensive body (by throwing the gym leaders under the bus, notably ex-6, 5, Will, and 8, with shades of 7). Sonya’s town is burnt to shit still. The city goes into turmoil after Felicity locks you in the base in town 8 (from which you are freed by Elliot, probably), as a ‘distraction’ by the Team so they can go claim the legendary. of course, the People dont know this, but the Org do. so Dante and Felicity prepare to leave for the legendaries place (theyre waiting on a few key individuals, notably Jun) until you arrive with your Squad and you fuck them up. they flee separately, with Felicity seemingly disappearing, and Dante appearing at the legendary’s home to capture it. you fuck him up, he’s arrested by the Champion, all is well.

also Isaac is Org-loyal and its a deliberate plan to keep using the good influence of the gym leaders in order to get rid of the bad ones. eroding the power source as a whole, if that makes sense. Isaac is trusted by the people and as such anything they say that’s against gym leaders, even slightly, would be more readily accepted than anyone else saying it.

i still dunno for what reason AHC would have any interest in a country west of Thyssia. shit, historically, their relationship was probably exclusively with ‘east Thyssia’ so that when it was conquered and merged into what is now Thyssia, AHC was probably pissy about that. its probably what, in a delayed way, prompted the political marriage of Adelaide to Erick. to say ‘listen, us hating you because you were west thyssians and conquering our friends, thats behind us, we cool now ya?’ and they were probably also friends with countries to the east, like farther east than anything else in the story.

so what would they have with the west? specifically a small country between Thyssia and the west buckos. it could be a more idealogical alliance than a ‘we were buds’ thing, i suppose. like, more to do with globalization and the access to stories than anything. if the little country is one that recently sought independence from the westerners, perhaps, then maybe AHC decided to support this, since AHC is similarly proud of continuing to exist as its own entity as opposed to a part of a greater Thyssia. (which could happen in the far future, depending on how Thyssia and AHC react to Adelaide’s fucking chicanery)

so, that could work. at some point, a different ethnic group or different ideological views formed within the west, and in recent times (like, the last 50 years or so) theyve sought independence from the west. AHC, as a country proud of remaining its own entity, ruled only by itself, supports them in this drive, admittedly in a from afar, gentle back pat sorta way. platitudes, right. and perhaps the ‘current’ (20 odd years ago) independence was an easing method. like how russia became the soviet union ‘as it transitioned into a fully communist country’. that didnt happen, but its a similar idea.

so, sizeable group in the west demands independence from the west, AHC supports, and the West enters a state of compromise. the borders are determined and the new state is formed, but it functionally remains a subsidiary of the West. sorta like a colony, i guess? still under Western control, they run the place legally, like the big wigs, but the new country can elect its own officials and has its own government, except that government ultimately must answer to the Western one. its a taste of their freedom. this lil state is fucking stoked. they immediately begin on securing deals and trade with other countries independent of the West, since the West clearly has different friends. and one of their first ports of call would be AHC, since it was very open in its ideological support for the countries independence. it makes sense, yknow.

so, they become allies with AHC, with deals in place for trade and such. most of AHC’s items that it trades to NG (new guys, fuck it) would be items it recieved elsewhere, basically giving NG access to the world that it cant access just yet on its own. plans begin for an NG regional airport, allowing it to access countries that lil bit further off, likely via Thyssia or the West, since Thyssia likely has a pretty big regional airport. theres also the neutral country to the north west which could be a major regional hug (hence the negotiations being placed there later) and all that fun jazz. because, well, all that sort of global infrasctructure is located within the West’s borders, and while the citizens of NG technically hold a dual citizenship and can use these things from the west, they want that independence, gotta build their own.

but, theres clearly rules about it, and one of those rules is probably a No Military thing. the West doesnt want NG to have a military of their own. but its probably blanket too, like no military forces at all. from anyone. no armies. nada.

then the West gets antsy. they dont wanna let go of the land NG has, not really, its got access to the coast that the West always appreciates, and they probably start pushing strange restrictions to try and retain control. greater access to NG for the west, that sorta thing, stuff thats one sided and doesnt benefit the NG much at all. and NG starts prickling, and they call in AHC to help. and AHC is confident that this all be easy, send an ambassador, a few armed people to protect them, easy peasy, no worries. now, a few is a non definite number. 20 is a bit more than a few.

so the West gets really antsy. there are armed people in NG, ostensibly supporting NG against the West, this is war, they get real pissy about this. which is fair, because 20 is overmuch and AHC is clearly overstepping its boundaries substantially.

and thus, the war begins.

though, if this is what happens, and that the war began due to AHC overstepping its boundaries in an attempt to protect another countries independence, what happened to the lil country by the end? since, it was a 4 year war, with Thyssia stepping in and protecting AHC and NG with its faarrrr superior military force. then, after 4 years, a ceasefire was arranged, and King Erick made his naive decision to, i guess drive through NG to reach the neutral country in which negotiations were being held? idk. depends our far back inland NG reaches, if NG is a tiny thing snuggled on the coast then it was probably driving through the north western tip of Thyssia.

but then, because Erick was killed, and its determined that it was Western soldiers who did it, the war breaks out anew between the West and Thyssia, or, more pertinently, between Adelaide and The World. so what become of NG? well, if it was IN NG that Erick died, NG has gotta help out, theyre desperate to not seem shit, theyre incredibly helpful, but, well, are they still at war??? idk. esp if its not on their soil, if Erick died in Thyssia’s north west. do they independently reach for peace with the West while they battle Thyssia?

probably. the problem is, they were trying to reach peace with Thyssia’s help, and Thyssia cannot help them negotiate peace now because Thyssia is basically beyond negotiation for a fair while. so Thyssia probably brings in either AHC or another neutral country to support it, and they’d reach peace with the West. i think NG still exists. they won the war, essentially, though it was p much wholly due to Thyssia stepping in to help AHC help them, yknow.

so NG is still around. theyre probably still allied to both AHC and Thyssia. the west wont dare touch them now. they’ve been fully separated and made independent. thats cool.

it does sorta make the west into full on assholes, like indefinite dicks, but if i wanted i could make it be due to a leader and not the country? besides, the assassination of Erick was not government mandated. they cant explain how it happened, because they honestly dont know, but it was honestly just some rebellious assholes pissed that Thyssia stepped into a conflict that wasnt theres and started bossing everyone around, and they saw erick in his car and went ‘we;re in’ and blew him up. they were probably members of the Western military, but not acting under their orders, they basically went rogue.

yea. sure. so that mean the west are dicks. but if its just a particular leader, like one elected group that were subsequently removed, that could work. for instance, right, i feel a typical term of government is 3-5 years. so lets so its 5 years. that encompasses the entirety of the first 4 years of the war and the bits before, so it can include a build up of increased tension regarding the independence of NG. then, like a few months before the ceasefire, the West has an election and the party is like, tooootally removed, everyone just goes ‘are yall fucking stupid’ and votes them out. and the new party is desperate to right the wrongs, hence the subsequent ceasefire and attempt at peace that is thwarted by rogue soldiers, possibly the supporters of the previous government.

that government, the one that failed at peace because it couldnt ‘adequately explain how such an incident occurred), they probably stay in power at the next election, because any outrage over that incompetence has probably faded and been replaced with a frustration with Thyssia (or, Adelaide) refusing peace talks. so, theyre good.

on Thyssia’s end.... idk. their politicians probably remained the same in the lead up to and the first 4 years of the war. maybe even the beginning of the next 7 year portion, the Thyssia-West war. technically two separate wars. its at the elections during that war that Thyssia also makes a push for this stupid shit to end. Yes, Erick was killed, thats awful, but if this continues there wont BE a West. you tell someone youre Thyssian and they laugh. theyre the scorn of the world.

eventually it ends. but noones pushing for Adelaide’s deposition yet. but thats 90% because they dont want Jackson to be king yet. they want him to be king, of course, the speeches he’s been making in the recent years have connected well with the people and they think he’ll do well. its just that he’s still a teenager and he’s emotionally fragile, and everyones sympathetic about it. dont push him in yet.

then, of course, Jackson turns like 24 and everyones like ‘well.... he’s got his emotions in control.. he’s an adult.... the throne is his by right.... the fucks going on’

in hindsight, everyones pretty sure they shouldve pushed for Duke Andrew to take the throne. thats the big mistake, lmao
