A glamour is a magic spell that changes/cover your appearance. Like in the show macaque should technically have 6 ears. for animation purposi I guess they are not drawing all of them, but we say he uses a glamour also for covering his scarred eye.

mmmmmm---- I think Wukong. Freenoodle is pretty chill with the DBK family after everything that happened. Mac is also quite alright since he was always in good relationship with them. I would say Wukong would just want to be sure his kid doesn't get hurt by the fire in any way

So the thing is that MK is hearing the past from both POVs. Macaque by definition can hear ANYTHING so yeah he could definitely experience MKs memories. But the thing is-does he want to? I headcanon that his future-present-past hearing abilities are something he only used a couple of times, and because what he heard from them was so traumatic, he decided to NOT use them again (like wukong laser eyes)

So- *sigh* technically, we don't really know MK immortality status. it's a grey area for now. Because on one side, he's a stone monkey, who, by nature like Wukong, can perfectly age and grow like a normal monkey. On the other hand, he's technically died already, and by the time he was created by Nuwa, both his biological fathers were already immortal (Wukong bc yes, Macaque because he's a demon, and he can die from wounds and illness, but can't age)

So to answer: we don't know yet what's with him. we will see (I promise that)

MK can't make the same clones macaque has. He can control a little bit his own shadow, and use that as a clone. so as long as it's his own shadow, it's more Mac area, if it's his own hair clone then it's Wukong's

Yes they know about them. No they aren't his kids let's say. My own personal headcanon for the Au (or the show in general) is that they are both Macaque shadow, like- clones with a little bit of personality just like MK clones represent specific parts of his personality. He has 2 of them because he lived 2 lives, one before and one after he was brought back to life.

Aaahh I’ve seen a lot of asks asking this one but honestly I don t know If I’ll ever draw that trope. Maybe bc Wukong should technically have canonically too much knowledge about general illness to be worried about normal daily life illness. If it was something more life-threating. Maybe yes, but I still have to cook.

The need for them to remain close by and wait until Mk is asleep before trying to leave. This means Mac has been through exactly what he is telling them not to do and knows the pain, sorrow and trauma that comes from feeling abandoned like this. They may be facing their past hurting their own kid through proxy and try to help him fight against the trauma. received a lot of questions from @chokehoe /thank you very much :D/ to make it more interesting, I've made it into a topic, and I've made some sketches! hope you enjoy!

So for your au where gojo locks geto in his basement, dose geto hate gojo now? Like I can imagine and understand why because he locked him away in basement, but I need to know.

This is a question I've answered before /You can search the hashtag, I could write more about it there/

He takes offence to it, of course, I don't think anyone would like someone locking you up. He still has love, Satoru is not a stranger to him after all, but there will be resentment. I think by the time Yuji shows up, their relationship will be very strained

Also does suguru use Yuji to get himself out? I feel bad for Yuji if so because then he’s gonna be stuck in the middle of that whole fiasco

I think he might take advantage of Yuji's kindness /oh yeah, manipulative Geto/ I think he'll want to get Yuji to take something from Satoru's room / and Yuji will have doubts about Gojo's mental stability/ If Satoru spots him, it's gonna be really creepy….

Was gojo just going to keep suguru locked in his basement forever, or did he have some other plan like suguru becoming a teacher?

I don't think he has any plan since he did it all on emotion. And I don't think Satoru will let him go anywhere now. Maybe he'll try to re-educate him /or maybe he's just calming himself down with these thoughts of re-educating/

Dose suguru have a plan for what he’s going to do if he does get out. Are nanako and mimiko ok in this one?

I think Suguru is just thinking about escaping right now. But even if he does, Satoru can easily find him by scent, will he have enough time to go somewhere before Satoru realises he's escaped? And if he is caught, will Satoru become even more insane? Suguru could also end his life if he realises that he has no other choice /I don't miss that thought/.

Nanako and Mimiko gone and are doing the same things they do in canon

Does anyone else know he’s down there, either by gojo telling them or by finding out by accident?

So far, only Shoko and Yuji know. I'll mention that the action takes place after the alley when Satoru "ki-lled" Suguru. Shoko knows because she healed Suguru /yeah, glued his arm on, that's just how I want it to be/. I think Shoko accepted since Satoru probably scared her, and she doesn't want to lose Suguru. But she probably wasn't surprised by Satoru's decision. To put it shortly

Maybe Megumi and Nobara will start to suspect something if Yuji !accidentally! says something XD like

Also, I can’t stop imagining if the basement was the laundry and gojo & suguru are having some deep conversation and all you hear is the washing machine going in the background.

omg it's interesting! I pictured this place as where Gojo dragged Yuji to. Because, in theory, it could have held Suguru. But maybe then he moved it to another location, as you suggested, or converted this basement into a more habitable space. That's how I imagine this

Has megumi or tsumuki walked into the basement because they needed something and just found suguru there and just didn’t know what to do so they just walked out, or do they not know? I feel like it would be funny but also creepy if they found suguru there because like the laundry used to be down there or something

Oh, this is gonna be really creepy XD I actually like this idea!

I think they'll get very scared and Megumi will probably encourage Nobaru not to ask Gojo since he heard from him about his ex-friend /understood from Gojo's description/ Since it's very strange and creepy, so better not to trigger Satoru

Why was gojos first thought to lock suguru in a basement in the first place?

I think he just realised that Suguru wouldn't be around him normally. And yeah, and he was determined to kill him.

Again, he did everything on emotion and from a selfish point of view. Also, I think he was just tired and just wanted to be around him all the time

I'm participating in Simblreen 2024

Hello everyone!! How are you doing???

Yeah, I know... I was MIA again.... and yes, It was still 'cause of my kittens... as I told you last time, they were sick... they were doing better, but sudenly one of the kittens, the younger one, got worse... I really thought i was going to loose her last week, She looked really haggard... it was three intense days of cares untill she gots better...

Fortunatelly, now they trully are doing it good... the younger is in a strict diet and the other kitten is doing good... the mom is also better, she is fully recovered from her surgery!! And I just wish them to not get sick again 'cause it has been a hell of two stressful months.

As you may know, Simblreen is really special to me... this is the third year I'm participating and I'm really sad 'cause I hadn't the time to finish as much packs as I wanted... I was mad last week 'cause i couldn't finish on time but this week I will be participating... I had 16 packs planned but with no time to sit in my pc to work on them, it was imposible... So there will be less gifts this year... I hope you understand.

In the other hand, yes, I have a few comission packs which I haven't delivered yet, I'm working on them as fast as I can to give them to its corresponding owner but although it may sound bold on my part, I ask for patience. I have not forgotten and I am working on them. I don't usually take this long to finish comissions so trust me, I'm really ashamed but the whole situation with the kittens has been unexpected and I need more than 24 hours a day now to catch up with absolutely everything haha.

Now, about the event:

This year I won't be doing a treasure hunt... It was funny last two years, but now I have too much info (and packs) to hide the gifts and the candies can be lost in the void XD haha so, this time I'll be doing a simple knocking door for treat or tricks and you will receive a riddle.... if you answer correctly, I'll be giving the link to the pack.

The event starts tomorrow 25th and ends on the 27th but of course, as always, there will be a limited time to have the gift while my porch light is on. However, after the event is finished, I'll be sharing all the packs [FOR FREE, as it should] in my patreon page... DRDT Chapter 2 Episode 14: First Impressions

Episode 14!!! If Ep 11 really was the 70% mark (apparently the dev said that but don’t quote me on it, I saw it in a YT comment), then it only goes up to Ep 16. In the first trial, the culprit was revealed in Ep 10, then Ep 11 was their final defense as the class unraveled all the remaining mysteries, and Ep 12 was mostly post-trial. If the pattern repeats, this might be the episode we get our culprit reveal!!! And it seems likely, with the forty minute mark. So excited!!!

Also fine if it doesn’t happen if course, but we’ll see!

Nico! Nico! Explain the blood on the wires and my life is yours!!! I’m still surprised Teruko got “hanging” out of that crime scene to be honest.

Ace is so funny. He’s technically right that people should ask the victim and not just the killer, but he has nothing to offer.

“That’s why she didn’t ask you.” J really is becoming the voice of reason huh?

“It’s hard to remember the evidence.” (Paraphrased). Eden.

[Teruko lists the evidence] And… she omitted the tape. Yeah, the trial would get pretty derailed if Rose noticed the oddity there right away.

Wow, immediately Rebuttal Showdown let’s go! Really cool Hu animation. I wonder if she’ll end up being the Ace attacker or not? She could still just be defending Nico because.

“That’s why I have to interrogate Nico.” I love the voice acting, the chillest Rebuttal Showdown ever so far xD

[Sword Reveal] Fan?… Oh, because the fan being broken implies a hanging, right? That’s where she’s going with this?

“Lost their temper at Ace” is not how I will put attempted murder, Hu, but you do you.

[Cut] Oh, the fan was used as a pulley??? Fucking how???

“The fan being broken would suggest a hanging.” (Paraphrased) Oh I was kinda right with my start of RS guess.

“Isn’t that wire Hu’s custom weapon?” Woo, Whit with the brain cell!

“Nico stole from Rose, so they stole from [Hu]” (Paraphrased) Yeah! Teruko and I think alike!

[Hu triple dots] Was the wire stolen? I’m almost second guessing it with how reluctant she is to say that.

{Hindsight between keys: Man I went back and forth a lot this episode huh}

[Veronika talks about Nico planning for the trial] Even though that kinda contradicts what Nico said earlier (I guess maybe they lied, makes sense in retrospect), yeah she’s right (assuming they aren’t wrong about Nico trying to frame Hu). Is she trying to help her newfound bestie, Hu?

“Did they even want to learn to paint?” Poor Rose T_T Also Nico please say something.

“If something was bothering you, you could have talked about it with someone you trusted!” You know, Eden tried to do that with Teruko, and Teruko shot her down. I wonder if that’ll come into play…

“I don’t trust anyone here.” :O Well that’s a reveal.

Woo new Hu sprite! She is breaking down! But bestie please I don’t think you can fix them!

“Hu, I—“ Nico looks so done lmao.

“You trust me, right?” They just say they didn’t. Man, she is not beating the savior complex allegations with this one, huh?

Bro please let Nico talk.

“Are you a billionaire? Because that’s rich!” Ace you are not as clever as you think you are. xD

“Murder is murder…” Indeed, J the voice of reason.

“Why can’t either Ace or Nico simply tell us what happened?” You know we’re fucked when Arturo’s the voice of reason. Although I imagine Ace will shout at him that he doesn’t remember because he was unconscious.

[Ace shouts at Arturo] Got the reason wrong, but the shouting was there.

“Don’t throw two birds and a stone in a glass house, asshole.” Mixing two idiots there, big guy.

“They put some sort of cloth on my mouth…” Ah, there’s the unconsciousness shouting. By the way, full confirmation turpentine is just chloroform in this universe, nice.

[Charles lays down the law on Hu] Thank you, resident brain cell holder! How did they even get out of the first trial without you?

“I was going to!” Yo new Nico sprite is crazy!!! They’re going in!

“I was going to…” Oh, they’re trying to remain calm. That’s pretty cool of them!

“If you say what you think happened, I’ll help.” (Paraphrased) Yeah I was wondering how the dev was gonna write this without it being a twenty minute Nico monologue, this tracks.

Yo “fake” Closing Argument is crazy.

THE FUCKING LIGHT!!!! HOW THE FUCK DID IT NOT OCCUR TO ANY OF THE FIFTEEN PEOPLE THAT TRIED TO SOLVE THIS!!! I guess cause nothing pointed to it but y’know.

“How would that have worked?” Broom to move the fan? I came up with that in my original theory on this thing, though I think that was for the very first method which was clinically insane.

[Broom reveal] Ah, close but not quite. That’s actually quite smart! I’m surprised no one thought of that either.

[Releasing wire] …Am I stupid or does this not work? What would the wire get caught on?

{Yeah I still don’t think I get it? Like if the wire was moving from above the fan to around the broom, there’s nothing stopping it from going from around the broom to above the fan, so Ace would just fall. Did it get caught on the tape somehow? But how would Nico be able to put it around the broom then? Also how does the fan break? The wire would exert force from above and the side, not below, which is what the image makes it look like. I don’t think I understood this I’m so sorry.}

Oh, Ace woke up before the murder attempt was over! Good job badjoe for calling that!

Also are we far enough in to confirm Nico did this by themselves? I don’t have anything against those that believed otherwise, but I personally like it better this way. I imagine the theories aren’t 100% dead, as always, but y’know.

“And then I… Y’know…” THAT’S WHY THE BLOOD ON THE WIRES DOESN’T MAKE FUCKING SENSE!!! Man, as much as I love the EP 6 CG, it was not clear at all that they were that close, especially when the loose wire seemed closer to the entrance. {Looking back, yeah, I’m just not good at perspective on these rooms. The wires were closer to Ace than it looked}.

… Well there’s the small bit on the end of the loose wire that I’m still not sure how it got there, but close enough!

{Yeah it’s not. Believe it or not, I don’t even think the canon method fully explains the fucking blood.

How the fuck was Nico using this exactly? I imagine the small bit of blood on the end is from the noose (which funnily enough, I kinda called there would be a noose, just got where Ace’s neck would be wrong), so then the middle is the part they used as a garrote. But… then where did the blood on the wire on the fan come from? Where they using both simultaneously?

Am I losing my fucking mind? How is it possible I still don’t understand the evidence even after All That? Has my brain simply rotted? And don’t even get me started on everything that wasn’t brought up! What the hell even is this case?

Then again, it’s midnight when I’m writing these hindsight observations, so I don’t think I’m operating at full brain capacity}

“What an interesting murder plan.” Veronika I love you.

“I tried to kill Ace and pin the murder on Hu. What else should I say?” I love you too Nico.

“And after all’s said and done, you can’t even say something as simple as “sorry”?” … Is Nico about to secret quote us?

“I tried to kill you because I don’t like you. Even now, there’s still no use to try and pretend that I like you. If I say “sorry,” you’re still going to hate me. So what else should I say?” Okay crisis averted. Still, this is a really interesting perspective, and I love it a lot. It calls back to Nico not understanding niceties like “please pass the salt,” which, relatable. If they’re not sorry, and Ace won’t get anything out of it, why lie? Very fun.

“D-Do you even regret what you did?” Poor Rose she’s taking this so badly T_T She still doesn’t have an answer as if Nico ever wanted to paint or not.

“I’m not Levi; of course I feel bad about something like that! I’m not heartless!” Yikes on calling Levi heartless, but interesting line for character analysis I guess.

“That was the worst choice that I’ve made in my life.” Wow, really cool new sprite and a lot of Nico info, this is awesome for us Nico enjoyers! (I call myself a Nico enjoyer like I don’t love every single character in the cast lol).

“My teachers, my classmates, my father…” Holy shit this is depressing.

“I’m not the victim here.” Damn, Nico. Just loving all this.

“So I don’t see the point in acting sorry.” Holy shit the sprites and the writing are on point today! {I’m sorry if my commentary’s not exactly thrilling, sometimes I’m just too invested to do anything but stare in awe.}

Rose: “I don’t know how to feel anymore” Sibling can you please give her a fucking answer damn.

“What does this have to do with the case? Everything.” Are we… doing “the pulley was used because they weren’t strong enough to murder otherwise” or…? I don’t know where else this would go.

“Coincidence? Hardly.” Does… Does Teruko already have Eden clocked (heh) as the murderer? No, right? It’s the strength thing probs.

“…They specifically intended for this murder case to be similar to Nico’s murder.” Wait does she actually think it’s Ace or Eden what?

[Non-stop, Bound Wrists] … I have nothing. Nico didn’t bind Ace’s wrists. What is happening.

[Bullet fired] Okay, slight nitpick that I’m pretty sure bothers me and no one else. I get that it’s hard to come up with phrases to shoot bullets at, but “there’s no evidence of that” or some variation is the thing that gets shot in, like, 90% of these Non-Stops Debates. Again, not really important, just wanted to point out a pet peeve of mine.

“One of the pieces of evidence was taken directly from the crime scene…” Oh now we’re bringing up the tape! Teruko didn’t identify it in the spinny thing so I was wondering if she was going to make the connection on her own, but I guess I should have never doubted the Queen.

“I finally figured out what this tape is…” Okay that makes sense. But has she actually clocked (heh x2) that Eden or Ace must have taken it? She’s acting real chill about it.

“It’s the tape from the gym.” (Paraphrased) Woo! It feels super satisfying to finally read those words in a trial setting. Another exceedingly common badjoe W, as they’re who pointed out the tape’s disappearance to me.

“That time Rose and I went to the gym together…” Oh so she knows knows.

“But didn’t MonoTV clean up the gym?” Yeah that would be convenient for you huh. There’s still a chance Ace is the culprit and she’s trying to defend him, but it’s looking rough.

{Actually in retrospect yeah what the fuck?}

“…I attempted to restore the gym to its original condition.” Which would include the tape being there. It might be over chat.

“… why didn’t you recognize it earlier, Rose?” She didn’t look at the crime scene queen. But it was in the trash. Geez Rose is just gonna feel awful after this trial, I’m really interested to see where her character will go.

“Wooow!” Fucking David jumpscare-

Yo why’s David of all people being a hater you wanted them to lose the trial.

[David blames Arturo for Arei’s death] Considering Felicity, low blow. I hate David so much (/affectionate).

“I can’t even recall what day that happened.” Oh so she’s breaking down breaking down.

[Rose speech] The Rose angst is insane this episode, I’m loving every second. In addition, there might be a line here that could point to Rose!MM. But to keep the habit, I’m not elaborating on that (on this post).

“Rose. You are helpful.” Let me ignore the Terurose agenda for a moment and point out that Teruko’s still being way too chill about this if she’s about to call out Eden. Is she putting on a front? She mentioned hurting when Eden talked to her in the kitchen, so she probably does care, but isn’t letting herself show it? Oof if true.

“That I could be dismissive […] without consequences.” Oh we might be starting the “Teruko learns to trust a bit again” arc sooner than I expected. Cool! Also she’s not about to secret quote us right? {She wasn’t}.

“Thank you, Rose.” Okay I am no longer ignoring the Terurose agenda this ship is about to pop off I feel and I love that.

“…that tells me exactly who the murderer could be.” It might be Edenover.

Select Two People! But she said after Ace ran out, right? Is she gonna point at Ace and Eden, or herself and Eden?

Nope, Ace and Eden. Well, those are the two I landed on!

“It’s you two, right?” [Voice Line] You make it sound like Ace!Accomplice or Eden!Accomplice are even like remotely possible, and I find that funny.

“What’s your reasoning?” Veronika I love you but she’s spent the last ten minutes explaining her reasoning.

By the way, while Teruko’s repeating more or less the same lockdown logic I must have explained in at least three or four different posts (honestly kinda surreal ngl), it’s gonna be really funny if the only reason the class can confidently rule out Teruko as a suspect is because her handwriting sucks too much which is honestly the best argument for her innocence besides protag privilege :v

“I’m the least suspicious because I’ve been helping” is the second best argument lol.

“But to be frank, most of you are incapable of [acting logically]” Tell ‘em Teruko!

I’ll refrain from pointing bv out every suspicious Eden line because I always feel like I’m leaning too much on confirmation bias for it, but let’s be clear, I’m seeing them.

Hu: “Eden isn’t the killer! Don’t accuse her!” Bro.

“I do have evidence!” BDA?

Called it! If we’re bringing it up this early, though… I’m assuming it’s not so simple.

“You all are moving way too fucking fast.” I feel the same way Ace. {For the first time in the trial}.

“Hold on.” Wait is David gonna be the one to bring in the possible workaround(s)? Why the- I thought you wanted to lose? What the fuck is he even doing anymore???

“Oh my my my. That’s an issue.” You saw the body didn’t you.

“Because I’m actually the first person to see the body.” Well, there goes the “See No Evil” idea, which I kinda liked. Unless he’s just lying, which would honestly make more sense; he’d be trying to lead the trial astray again.

Okay but this is adorable.

“… at least one innocent person.” David, it’s- it’s at least two. How are this bad at math.

Nico: “Do you expect everyone to believe such an obvious lie?” This really is the Nico episode, huh? But it does make sense for them to push Ace as the culprit, I guess.

“He’s lying? Really?” Poor Levi’s got no fucking clue what’s going on.

“… he just conveniently avoided [the BDA group]” oh right they searched the whole floor before going to the playground David’s story is practically impossible.

Alright who’s gonna make the “What’s your source?” “I made it the fuck up!” meme with J/Nico and David?

“The only person who I need to believe me is Teruko.”

Are you just trying to go for a Teruvid angle to counteract the Terurose earlier? (/silly but really what the fuck-)

[David explains about Teruko’s skepticism] Yeah I guess. But, just so we’re clear: David still thinks the culprit is Ace and is just doing this to make them lose the trial right? Because otherwise what the actual fuck.

“AllI want is for Teruko to distrust others.” Motherfucker what-

[David’s whole Thing] You know, I really thought, I really fucking thought after Ep13, that we would get a break of a few episodes of David Bullshit, but no! What in the ever loving fuck is he even doing anymore???? No theories at this point, it is almost 11 PM where I am I do not have the brainpower to deal with this son of a bitch.

Levi: “Now that I think about it, Eden is in a good position to be Arei’s killer after all.” I feel a scrum debate forming.

“…why would I help it piece [the note] back together…?” I was right to avoid the bias. This line could be perfectly innocent, but the moment I read it, my mind said “she’s saying this too confidently, she had it planned, it’s Edenover.”

“Why… Levi, why?” While I do think Levi!Accomplice just 100% died of it wasn’t dead already, this line does read very funny with the context of that theory.

[Eden Breakdown] Man, {even after how much I’ve been sussing Eden in this and every other episode}, it sure does look like Ace is the culprit huh? Like, this scene is so beautiful and incredible it might just sway me to Ace!Culprit. The CGs are amazing, the music and the voice acting is terribly moving, the dialogue’s fantastic, holy fucking shit. I almost want to cry that was so fantastic. I— I wish I had more words, but that just left me speechless.

General Thoughts:

I don’t think I could have asked for more, this is just fucking perfect. Nico’s whole thing was great, the Rose angst was unexpected but wholly welcome, the tape reveal was revealed, David… Chiem, and the Eden CG stuff. Just absolutely fantastic all around.

…Slightly miffed the blood on the wires is still somehow not 100% consistent with the described method but WHATEVER it WORKS i do NOT wanna look at those fucking things again.

Theory Updates

Yeah it’s Ace.

Okay that’s dramatic lol. Eden!Culprit is not 100% dead, but off the top of my head, I can’t actually think of anything the characters can use to clear Ace rn. The only reason I believed Eden!Culprit over Ace!Culprit is that I didn’t think Teruko and even Eden could have missed Ace grabbing the tape upon waking up, especially with the sprite disappearing when Eden was on the ground, but… uh… apparently Teruko doesn’t trust herself so much.

With that glaring issue fixed, I actually think Ace!Culprit is significantly more solid than Eden!Culprit. No workaround needed for the BDA, no weird “are they even strong enough to do this” questions, and while the fish paradox Exists, Ace might have thought that putting fish there would make people think of Nico. Which, given the killer also somehow expected the class to figure out the similarities to Nico’s method when only a grand total of four people saw it, one of them being Nico themselves; yeah, I’d think he might be stupid enough for that.

EDIT: Also forgot to mention, Ace waking up before the murder attempt was over solves the issue of him figuring it all out. He actually straight up saw the method, he’d know how to replicate it.

And those Teruko-Eden CGs, man… I always had to really suspend my disbelief on some of Eden’s lines, even with venus’ narrative defense, but… come on. I’ve said this before; I have my limits.

All that added to the fact that Teruko seems to really want to start her “begin to trust again” arc, the fact David pushed for Eden!Culprit… it’s looking Ace!Culprit.

To be clear, there’s still things like Eden’s “Teruko, wait—!” that work better under Eden!Culprit, but I feel those are comparable to other potentially small foreshadowing moments such as Ace being weirdly fixated on the carousel. Eden!Culprit is, again, not fully dead, as other than strength, BDA and fish (all of which have workarounds), there’s not much concrete evidence clearing her. But at this point, I… don’t know. I’ve always felt kinda bad reading scenes like the kitchen talk with Teruko with as much suspicion as I did, but these final CGs, hmm…

Maybe my perspective will change with a clearer mind in the morning, but these are “first impressions” for a reason. They’re not meant to be very cohesive.

And if I’m wrong and it is Eden, well then I’ll have been wrong for a week or two instead of a year, so. Who cares at this point.

Speaking of getting things wrong, the Nico thing. I got Nico!SoloAceAttacker (is that the right notation?) right, and the really obvious stuff like using the stool to reach the fan. I’m also gonna give myself half points for guessing the broom was used to move the wire on the fan all the way back in my first post, but other than that, I did not cook. In my defense, a lot of the evidence (Nico’s missing cloak, the missing tape on the pull-up bar unless it’s somehow the roll, the isolated weights and toppled weight rack, and who knows what else) ended up not mattering in the slightest, which threw me off. Also, I call bullshit on this explaining the blood on the wires, that splatter pattern still doesn’t make sense with what was described. I guess my life isn’t Nico’s after all.

On the other hand, I’m a bit more confident on the remaining aspects of the Arei murder theory now that I believe the culprit is strong enough to pull it all off without issue, but we’ll have to see on that. My guess for culprit ended up changing for now, but the reasoning for arriving at them (tape) was solid, so we’ll see how that pans out.

All in all, immaculate episode. Chef’s kiss. Perfection. Holy shit. See you again soon!

Yeah sure! There's a lot of those for Lovesquare especially. These are all from the last few years, because those are quickest and easiest for me to pull up, and frankly, there's quite enough of them.

Kagami is just trying to have a fun day with Marinette when Felix keeps messaging her. Apparently Adrien stole the peacock miraculous and won't give it back.

So this is a fun little fic. Felix is very annoyed at having lost his Miraculous, but hey, at least the kwamis are amused with the situation! There might as well be some sort of upside to being a Senti XD.

After a hard day of being Paris's most famous fashion designer and supervillain, Gabriel Agreste wants nothing more than a hot bath. But with the hot water tank always empty, he starts to wonder - why is Adrien taking such long showers?

So this fic is rated M, and it's rated that high because Gabriel comes to suspect that Adrien's long showers are due to him masturbating while he's taking them (no masturbation actually takes place in the fic). Then he notices that Adrien's long showers happen to occur most frequently during akuma attacks and draws his own hilariously wrong conclusions XD.

Marinette knew she tended to get tunnel vision when she was focused, but luckily her boyfriend Chat Noir was always there to watch her back as they fought Monarch. With their enemy having disappeared, however, they decided together that it was finally time to reveal themselves. In public. Face to face. It's a little silly to have to introduce yourself to your own boyfriend, but after all, it wasn’t Marinette’s fault that she never knew her boyfriend’s name. (Adrien has never been to school, and Marinette doesn't know him.)

This is adorable! The two of them are so smitten with each other, and Adrien's not used to people not recognizing him as Adrien AGRESTE on sight. Marinette's got quite a few surprises coming her way, she didn't expect her kitty to come from this kind of background.

If his Lady wants ultra rare Adrien Agreste merch, then that’s what his Lady will get! Written for the Miraculous Ladybug Secret Santa exchange.

This was really sweet and I love how mixelation wrote Adrien's internal narration! You really viscerally understood his thoughts and feelings. It had some of the intimacy of a first person perspective, but well, in third person.

Crossed Wires by @torvalvtt

Marinette has taken Adrien up on his suggestion that they share an apartment in university to help cut costs and be closer to school. This would be fine, except they both seem to have a problem with keeping their suits off around the apartment.

This was fun and hilarious. I loved seeing Ladybug and Chat Noir hurriedly try to come up with excuses for why they were in their own apartment, while Marinette and Adrien weren't XD.

This is adorable. Chat Noir keeps running into people who need help on Valentine's Day and sacrificing his own plans in order to help others. Luckily, all is not lost, even if everything he set up for his date is.

You. HAVE IT!?” “YES,” Rena shouts back. [Eagle deposits an heroic object of importance known simply as The Ball in Alya's bedroom. Chaos, a game of keep away, and bonding insues. Also, a spreadsheet.]

This was a really fun fic! Basically the NYC superheroes play this training game where they attempt to steal this one tennis ball from each other and hold onto it for as long as possible. It's led to this one, ratty ball becoming an important piece of superhero memorabilia.

Naturally, the Miracuteam continues the tradition.

I love how you get little vignettes of what all the different characters are doing, getting a glimpse inside their heads as they try to find, steal, and keep The Ball. If you're a fan of hijinks or the Miracuteam more generally, this'll be right up your alley!

This is a classic, adorable No Powers Adrienette AU. I love that Nino and Alya are a couple and are friends with Adrien and Marinette, but that Adrien and Marinette don't know that they have friends in common, it leads to some fun reveals!

This was fun and cute. An akuma attack gone wrong results in Adrien being a bit woozy and confessing his love to Ladybug... which would be fine, if he was Chat Noir, but as Adrien... well, there are problems.

Plus well. He HAS started catching feelings for Marinette as well...

It's cute, has some nice Ladrien, and just a nice, pleasant read.

I love this, it's a nice festive story, and I especially enjoyed Adrien and Alya getting to talk and bond and just... be friends with each other, rather than simply existing together in the same friend group! Oh, also, this takes place post-season 5, so Adrien's dealing with being an orphan now and all the complicated feelings that stirs up.

Surely it can’t be that hard to hide their feelings from their best friend? (A post-reveal, pre-relationship fic full of romantic crushes, best friend shenanigans, and a whole lot of dumbassery.)

If you just want a straight-up romance slowburn with these two just somehow being convinced their relationship is platonic (or that the other person wants it to be platonic at least), you’ll find little better to scratch that itch than “Perfectly Platonic (Unless…)”. It’s a little smutty and definitely earns its M rating because of that. If you want mutual pining, there’s a ton of that here!

This is mostly a Kagami-centric fic, with a touch of Lukagami at the end. I loved the callback to Adrienette’s automatic door troubles, and Kagami and Luka being sneaky XD.

And then after discussing it for awhile, decide to make a bit of a game of the identity reveal, having Chat come in on pre-determined days and seeing whether Ladybug can figure out who she is, all while they get to know each other, even if in passing.

Love the other Miraculous heroes making cameos as well, Marinette seems annoyed that Nino cosplaying as Carapace actually doesn’t tip anyone off XD.

Sadly he was pulled after two weeks, but it made quite an impression on him.

Merfolk and humans have had a treaty for a long time, so there’s a tradition where merfolk can challenge humans to a race, and whoever wins gets to ask for a reasonable sort of reward (in Marinette’s case, she wants to be allowed to captain a ship at a younger age than is usually allowed). Alya, Nino, and Adrien are naturally very encouraging towards Marinette, and luckily for her, a nice merman going by the name of Chat Noir shows up and challenges her to a race…

Yeah you can see where this is going XD. It’s fun, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

He blocks out the presence of all of his friends watching, and instead focuses on Nino - like Nino is a stage partner in a photoshoot. Except kissing Nino is nothing like a photoshoot. … Adrien kisses Nino in a game of Spin the Bottle, and then neither can stop thinking about it. Alya really likes how flustered her boyfriend is by all this. Marinette though, can’t handle it and keeps running away.

(And some Scarabella and Chat banter, I really enjoyed reading that as well). “Fake” flirting to make crushes jealous tends to turn real very quickly, and this is no exception. It’s hilarious, Alya’s the last one to figure out that her romantic relationship with Marinette is very much real XD.

Or in Adrien’s case, that he has to wake up in the arms of his true love every day XD. It’s very sweet and I love both Adrien’s and Nino’s relationship, and the relationship between the rest of the Miracuteam members as well, even though that’s not the focus.

I loved seeing Chat and Carapace excitedly tell each other about their awesome crush/boyfriend, not knowing they were talking about each other XD.

When tragedy sends Adrien Agreste racing back to Paris to run his father’s fashion house, Marinette doesn’t expect much from her very new, very rich boss. At least not until she is set up on a blind date with a very familiar face.

Much to her surprise, Adrien Agreste was hiding far more secrets behind his stoic business-like mask of temporary CEO. Maybe as many secrets as she had been trying to hide for years.

As they grow closer, Marinette fears her mask isn’t nearly as foolproof. Day after day, it gets harder for her to keep all her secrets well hidden from the surprisingly sweet man who insisted on staying by her side as often as possible.

Only she couldn’t afford to fail. Not when her biggest secret could spell the end of the job she’d dreamed about for years.

They might not be superheroes in this universe, but secret identities are still active here. Both Marinette and Adrien used to be involved with the Ladybug and Chat Noir movies, and both kept that a secret - Adrien especially, since if his father found out about it, there could be some bad repercussions, as he voiced Chat Noir without Gabriel’s permission. Marinette, meanwhile, is well known for making cosplay (calling herself “Ladybug” after the movie), and has been in contact with “Chat Noir” for quite some time before the story starts - not that she knows he’s the actual VA.

It’s mostly an Adrienette fic with the two of them getting to know each other after their unusual “first” meeting, where Marinette pretended to be Kagami in order to scupper the date with Adrien and get Tomoe off her back, with some intrigue and drama thrown in. Lila’s skulking around causing problems for the people around her, but she’s honestly not the main focus here.

This series is just plain fun! Like the title says, it’s a reverse crush AU, so Adrien’s head-over-heels for Marinette, while Ladybug’s smitten with Chat Noir. Which means that Adrien’s constantly trying to woo Marinette while Ladybug’s attempting to have normal conversations with Chat Noir (and failing), and both of them are oblivious to each other’s feelings.

I love the way non-fantasy executes it, with Alya literally carrying around a spray bottle because of how eager Adrien is, and Ladybug being VERY SCARY if you ever lay a finger on Chat Noir (seriously akumas will literally beg for their akumatized object to be broken just to escape her wrath).

Oh, also, Ladybug regularly stops by Adrien’s room so they can both lament how difficult of a time they’re having wooing their crushes, and just have fun together.

There’s a lot of entries in this series - 29 of them in fact - but most of them are pretty short, making it great if you want to devour some quick, cute, hilarious romcom action!

Dev gaining confetti ptsd xD what if he tried to hide it from Peri (his worry that is) but everytime he saw Peri and confetti he starts making simple wishes. Worried for a second go at magical back up.

The worry of “have I been making enough wishes? Is Peri gonna have to die again? Is he ok? What do I do?” Kinda thoughts.

Peri DOES randomly cough up confetti sometimes, yeah— same with rainbows! Which makes everything extra fun and silly. AND YEAH... DEV DOES FREAK OUT. It takes him a WHILE to get used to it, and even then, it's still a LOT. CAUSE... I MEAN... Peri exploded. In front of him.

Dev definitely suppressed the FUCK out of that, sure, but like... the kid is still traumatized. He watched his PARENT die. The only one that cared about him. While he was ALONE with him...

AND. YES. DEV DOES FREAK OUT AT THE GHOST MODE. Especially because it leaves a bit of confetti after— it freaks BOTH him AND Peri out, especially since they PROBABLY end up doing it the first time in front of him/near him. Dev ABSOLUTELY hides it though.

Him thinking he's alone in the room and being all emotional and then Peri shows back up/makes himself visible and Dev is like "WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?!" and Peri is just... "Haha I uh, I've been here the whole time, actually." It's funny silly but also the ANGST.

ADDING ONTO THAT, Dev absolutely makes a comment at some point about how their magic is all fucked up. "Why isn't your magic WORKING?!" While gritting his teeth and Peri just rattles their clearly cracked wand around ad they try to get it to work. He's CONCERNED but there's no way he'd let that show... but Peri probably already knows, honestly. This IS their Godkid, after all!

I haven't figured out the extent of "slightly broken slightly messed up" magic yet... but wish granting doesn't ALWAYS go as planned. Think of it maybe like how Cosmo's magic wasn't working well in the first episode, when trying to change Hazel back from being a fly. Exceppttt... it's like that almost ALL the time. And it extends to everything and not just blasting stuff LMAO, if that makes sense!

I HOPE THESE ANSWERS ARE GOOD RAGGHHH I LOVE LOVE ANSWERING QUESTIONS SO MUCH!!! Please never stop sending them I can never get enough HAHAHA!

PUUUHHHH ok I neeeeed to rant about this cause I am watching the Acolyte as I am writing this down and I am RAGING rn. (take this with humour, pls, it's nothing bad, I promise you, lol)

So, 4 min into Episode 6 and I am wondering, that's totally Ahch-To, right? Like, that's, that's so obvious. At that point I was just waiting for the Porgs to appear (tho, did they exist 1000 or what not years ago? idk) LOL. WDYM "Unknown Planet"?

But let's put that aside.

Then the scene continues, I will not comment on it too much, HOWEVER I totally see why people say it's reylo coded. And the more I watch the more I go like NO, NO, NO plllllsssssssss don't--

THAT'S LITERALLY WHAT I AM PLANNING FOR MY FANFICTION, GUYS YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO ME, DO I NOW HAVE TO WRITE "I HAD THIS IDEA BEFORE THE ACOLYTE CAME OUT" AFTER EVERYTHING I POST OR WHAT? I cry.

(It's not even the first time this happens to me. Remember the scene from Ahsoka when someone cuts Ezra's hair with the lightsaber? Yeah, I had that planned for a later interaction between Rey and Kylo. Welp. I refuse to post proof for that rn. It would spoil the story.)

1.) THE JOKER

Is this a basic answer?

Sure, but I don't give a shit! I really enjoy the Joker! I think he's hysterical in most of the Batman adaptations I've seen (yes, INCLUDING the LEGO Batman movie,) and there's just something about villains who are absolutely bonkers-crazy that really catches my attention.

2.) SCARECROW

BRO. IS. COOL.

His gimmick is FEAR, and if that isn't a really fucking cool concept then idk what is.

DOCTORS THAT TURN INTO VILLAINS HAS GOT TO BE QUITE POSSIBLY ONE OF MY FAVORITE TROPES.

3.) TWO-FACE

To be fair, I have no clue what drew me in to Harvey's character.

Or maybe it's just because I like his designs.

SLADE/DEATHSTROKE

BRO IS A MENACE.

I ADORED THIS MOTHERFUCKER SO MUCH IN TEEN TITANS (2003) IT AIN'T EVEN FUNNY.

That version of him was by FAR one of the best-written villains of all time.

The only reason I put him in "honorable mentions" is because I don't see him as a Batman villain. I grew up watching him fight the Teen Titans, so to me, Slade is the Teen Titans' villain.

Also, yeah, I'm calling him Slade because that's what I grew up calling him. So just don't go expecting me to call him Deathstroke every single time I'm talking about him, alright? XD

BANE

I mean, he isn't my FAVORITE, but I do like him a lot- ESPECIALLY in The Dark Knight trilogy. They kinda did bro dirty in BTAS, but I guess they can't all be bangers!

Also, I will protect THQS Bane with my LIFE.

So with Bendy copying Audrey to be a person (based on the two bendy bites) would that mean he would also copy the cat?

The reason I thought this is because imagine Audrey comes home to see the cat in loaf form only to turn and see Bendy also loaf-

AbsoLUTEly he would, you genius!

Loaf Bendy would be so precious, both as a toon and a demon XD Toon Bendy is gonna be limited to non-verbal imitations (loafing, stretching like a cat, pushing stuff over etc.) but our big inky boi has no such limits.

There's so much potential here for animalistic behaviors and I'm such a sucker for that, like:

Imagine he starts hissing at Audrey as the Ink Demon. The first time he would probably freak her out. By now, she's gotten fairly used to all his noises and he probably has been using his own version of gurgly hissing that's only called hissing for lack of a better term. Then one day, she does something he doesn't like, like reaching for the remote while he's watching TV, and he just full on cat-hisses at her. It would still be garbled cuz that's how he is and I imagine it would be a lot harsher than a regular cat's hiss. This new sound would definitely cause Audrey to at least flinch and possibly jump back (if she was on the couch, she would probably fall off b/c funny) in fear/shock.

Now, I'm split on whether he would feel bad and not do it again for a while (he hates it when he scares her accidentally, it brings up bad memories) or if he would try to abuse it to get her to do more stuff for him since she's used to all of his other threatening mannerisms. It would probably depend on the severity of her reaction idk

Another possible first scenario where Audrey hears him hiss for the first time could be her overhearing him playing with the cat. Cat thinks it's normal, he learned it from the cat so he obviously thinks it's normal, but Audrey would probably freak out even more because she's still secretly worried he's gonna eat the cat at some point. (I just remembered I named the cat Inkblot so I'm gonna start using that name again lol). He would be super offended by Audrey's overreaction, especially if she tried to separate them. Maybe he starts lecturing her on how Inkblot needs to learn boundaries through his language since he doesn't speak English or sign language and Audrey is just reeling that he's mentioning boundaries when he's constantly pushing hers

OMIGOSH HE COULD LEARN TO PURR

GUYS, I HAVE A LEGIT EXCUSE TO WRITE THE INK DEMON STRAIGHT UP PURRING IN THE FUTURE

yeah sure, it's gonna be garbled af and I was already planning on writing plenty of inky rumbling in the fic but now I can straight up call it purring which is splendid

ESPECIALLY IF HE LEARNS IT'S POSSIBLY HEALING

Problem, I don't think scientists figured out that purring is helpful until recently. (Google has confirmed they first started to suspect it in the 2000s, ugh)

Other problem, can Audrey get sick? For the sake of sick fics, I wanna say yes, but she's also not human so the logical/world-building side of me says no.

Screw logic, imagine Audrey with a cold, just chilling in bed, trying to get better, when Inkblot jumps up on her chest and starts purring. Audrey would appreciate the attention (since she's the cat's third favorite) but she also likes breathing and would keep moving the cat off.

Eventually, the cat leaves and she thinks she's free, closes her eyes, and suddenly the pressure is back but 10X heavier and way rumblier.

It's da Inky boi in his full demon glory, laying practically his whole torso on her and shaking the room with the power of his rumbles. Cue Audrey complaining and trying to shove him off, but not only is she sick but Bendy is obviously way stronger than she is. She has no choice but to submit to the cuddles, but she does convince him to just put his head on her so she can actually breathe.

Okay, I think that's enough silly self-indulgent ideas for one post lol

Computer light falling onto a silhouette could be seen upon looking into the room, Fyodor Dostoevsky was sitting in front of the many screens, planning his ever-so-successful plan to get rid of ability users. Not moving much for some time, one could mistake him for a statue instead, that's until he slightly jumped from feeling fingers moving along his sides.

Quiet giggling was all he heard when turning around, trying to catch the figure behind him, but unsuccessful upon the person disappearing before the dark-haired man could even touch them.

Fyodor’s ever so lovely s/o, you, have always loved doing little tricks to see just how much can you be unpredictable, even to this man ever since you noticed he doesn’t mind them… that much, at least.

Listen, Fyodor really doesn’t mind you having fun with your ability here and there, but is it really too much to ask to organize things in peace? In your book, it seems it is.

Fyodor has some things written down on paper, and only one copy, as he believes it’s better to not keep some things on his computer. As much as it is un-hackable, his words he wants to be safe just in case. Better be safe than sorry, but it would be so much faster and easier to organize if papers didn’t change their place the moment his eyes were even slightly averted from them, if folders didn’t change their places, or more, if you didn’t mess with his stuff.

The rat placed the paper on the table and turned away to get a folder? A little quiet sound could be heard behind him. Turning around, the paper is gone as if it wasn’t there in the first place and is on the other side of the room. He turns back around to get the folder, but now that is gone too and is under a table.

Whether it’s papers that are moved around. From changing tables to even being moved to different folders, to folders that were perfectly organized in alphabetical order being all messed up. Every time he turns away, you would teleport in, take a folder out of the shelf, and teleport away. After a moment you would teleport back into a random ass place and place it there. The worst is that you do it not only when he organizes stuff, but also randomly on days he doesn't.

Really, the organizing would be so much faster if he had peace… sad that he doesn’t.

Morning sun rays fell upon the figure sitting in front of the mirror in the room. Nikolai was sitting quietly, still half asleep as it was around 7 am and he woke up not too long ago. The white-haired man was making his braid with closed eyes, the hand manner practically natural by now, in the quiet room.

That was before he felt a slight tug on the back of his head, He opened his eyes in a fast movement, managing to catch only one thing in the mirror reflection behind him, the gentle light that comes with his s/o, you, using their ability.

A quiet sigh from the man could be heard in the room, a gentle smile on his face that he couldn’t stop from appearing.

“You just couldn’t stop yourself from doing that, huh, Dove?” Nikolai spoke knowing you were still in the room, as well as he noticed that he had to redo most of the braid he had done till now.

“It’s revenge for what you did last week, Kolya”

“I don’t know what you are talking about”

“Hmm… I also don’t know what I’m talking about when I say I won’t be baking the cookies you wanted”

“Wait!-”

That certainly woke him up.

You and Nikolai were visiting Sigma at the Sky Casino, although you disappeared around half an hour after the two of you got there. To where? A good question that the white head doesn't have an answer to.

Good ol' doubt in an answer for Nikolai's quiz. He just needs to wait till Sigma says the wrong answer and he will be able to-

Whirling around or looking ahead, depending on the male, both noticed a book on the ground, a piece of literature the bi-colored-haired Man could swear he didn't have in his office.

Sigma stood up and slowly walked over to the book on the ground, he bent down to pick it up. Just as he straightened up, a sound of something hitting the floor sounded throughout the office. Looking back at the desk behind the males, a folder the younger of the two was working on beforehand, was lying on the floor.

“Is all the stuff in my office gonna be falling down or appearing out of thin air now?”

Just as Sigma spoke, the sound of something heavier, like the book from earlier, flew across the office, and then a sigh was heard right after.

“I think so, dear friend!”

Nikolai was acting cocky for the next few minutes as things would fall or appear out of nowhere, thinking that you are playing with only Sigma for fun. He realized it was you when the folder fell off the desk, but what he didn’t realize, was that he wasn’t safe at all.

He should’ve remembered that you absolutely love to play around with him by doing something to his hair, so he should’ve expected the tug on his hair from the back or the feeling of his hat gone from his head that came next.

And he couldn’t do anything even if he whirled around immediately, as your figure disappeared in gentle light just as he did so.

“Goddammit.”

“Told you to look around.”

“But Sigma!!! I thought-”

The bi-hair-colored man entered his office quietly. It was quite dark, as the sun already started to set some time ago. He wondered what you, his lovely s/o, were doing at the moment as you insisted on staying in the main room earlier during your small talk with Sigma after spotting him walking around.

Upon laying his eyes on his desk once he got close enough, Sigma noticed that some things were moved around. The paper that he was writing on before got moved up by 8 centimeters, exactly 2 papers from the right got moved to the far left of the desk, in exchange, 3 papers from the left got moved to the place the 2 papers from the right were in before, he also had 3 files on his desk before, but now there was 5, and none of them being the 2 that were there before.

The reason behind that wasn’t hard to guess.

“You still here, dear?”

But it also wasn’t hard to guess that you stayed close by.

“Of course!” The response came with you appearing behind him, and together with a light tickling feeling on his neck.

…He had to start his work all over again.

…At least you brought cookies though.

He was just trying to comb his hair, but no, of course, his comb was not where it was meant to be, and of course, the spare one was missing as well.

His stuff had been going missing before being found in the most random places possible. Sigma didn’t want to assume his beloved was at fault, but at the same time, this was happening way too much lately.

His heels? Moved from the hallway to the kitchen.

The glass of water he left on the counter? Found in his office, once he got there.

Once, all of his hairbands went missing, and he found every single one of them placed around in books, folders, cabinets, and even under papers he left on his desk.

The bi-colored-haired man decided to speak up with a slightly louder tone, in case you were somewhere in a farther corner of the apartment.

“[Name]?”

“Yes, cotton?”

He decided to ignore that he jumped a little at your surprise entrance behind him. Should’ve expected you wouldn’t use the door.

“Do you know where my comb is?”

A hum came from you. “No. Why do you ask?”

“Can’t find it. Thought you would know.”

“Going into assuming right away, aren’t we?”

It’s not that the man doesn’t trust you, but you’ve done little tricks like this so many times that no one could blame him if they tried. The teasing tone in your voice didn't help the situation.

“Can you blame me?”

“...No.”

“...You have it, don’t you?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

I watched this after seeing a clip from Essaintl's thread on twt. And It gave me the idea of also sharing some moments I found funny/cool of cstaggeduo in this stream. Bc I love them and I just like to share clips now I learned how to clip on youtube (the firsts are a bit out of order):

I find interesting how Dream looks at Punz for a second in silence (tho for a second if im not hearing bad for one second he seems about to say "pun-" before Punz interrumpts him) in a almost coy manner after he says this, and then avoids looking at him in that same manner while asks Tommy "why are you trying to...ruin everything all the time?".

I just find this moment and Tommy telling the characther that didnt have a pov for most of a series and has be seen as just a monster for two years to let him look at him as peak minecraft roleplay moment.

I know it's supposed to be serious but I find this moment hilarious in a bittersweet way. They finally where getting somewhere with talking and then two literal seconds later they are about to die lol. I really loved the detail of Tommy turning to look at both Punz and Dream with a conflicted face and definetly grief knowing what's coming. I liked the detail he looks at both sad knowing all of them are gonna die.

And Idk seeing this It reminded me how messy and caothic these two are together and that's cute. Seeing Punz be supportive of the plan and Dream even when he's digging deeper on self destruction it's kinda sweet. Like both are good for each other in the worst way.

Going to gush a little about a couple Kill Switch scenes that I appreciate because I think you're being too hard on yourself about whatever pacing issues you think you have :)

Every night, after the arcade had closed and the random roster race was concluded, Vanellope would sneak a heal kit out of Hero’s Duty, gather up some food, and then come to see him for a few hours.

Whatever true reasons she must’ve had, she’d always hide them under the guise of ‘keeping him company’. Perhaps it was her sneaky way of torturing him, forcing him to listen to her ear-gratingly-annoying voice every night. If this little brat weren’t his only ticket out of here, he’d have tried to kill her a hundred times over by now.

This part I particularly love because it does a really good job at communicating how King Candy thinks in such a small, casual paragraph! He's only ever used kindness as a manipulation tactic, so it makes total sense that he'd see Vanellope's kindness as the same thing; not true kindness, but some sort of means to an end, something she must be doing to get one over on him somehow. He's completely and totally wrong of course but this small thought process fits his character really well! There's so much I could say about just this part if I were better at wording things, but ye, I just love this!

His head arose at the sound, blinking a few times to squint at her, as though he couldn’t tell if he’d actually woken up yet. “... You’re back?”

“Well, yeah, obviously.” She replied, hoisting her haul against the bars of the cage. “If it took threats of violence to get ridda me, I’d’ve just left ya trapped in Diet Cola Mountain.”

Completely baffled, he just stared at her, slack-jawed. She really was a lot stupider than he initially thought.

This part I really like because I think it's another short but effective way to show how his thought process is going to develop about the situation. He keeps seeing her nice gestures as her being foolish and dumb, which I think will let his guard down more as time goes on and he sees this more and more as "oh she'll be EASY to manipulate" even though Vanellope is actually smart and knows full well to be wary of him, and he just can't process how her kindness does not equal stupidity, so his flawed world view there is pretty much setting himself up for failure if he misleads himself into thinking she's a lot dumber than she actually is (That is, if I'm reading into that part correctly. Mayby I'm overthinking a little bit there. xD Bad at wording things)

She shot a snarky look his way. “Also, you literally tried to kill me in Rainbow Lane, I don’t think you have much room to judge, there.”

He looked as though he were about to object, took a second to think about it, then shrugged in a surprisingly nonchalant manner. “True.”

Vanellope rolled her eyes before continuing on her original tangent. “So, what, d’you think every single other racer on the track suddenly doesn’t matter if they don’t win every single time?” When she saw King Candy open his mouth to respond, she quickly held up her hand, remembering who it was she’d been speaking to. “Actually, don’t answer that.”

And this part I don't have much to say about I just like because it's funny xD

And what I mean by the whole "pacing issues" thing is really just, like, there were a couple of parts that simply didn't transition between scenes very smoothly, and it comes off as a little jarring (in my opinion). I didn't have the chance to finish the edits yesterday as originally planned, but basically all I'm going to do is add a scene with Candy and Vanellope talking a little bit more before the Sinistar attack, because I feel like that part happened too quickly before they had a chance to build up a bit more of a consistent dynamic, and I'm also going to add a scene before Candy tries to attack her to show his anger growing a bit more naturally, as I feel like that part was glossed over a little too much. Like, he went from "I'm going to bide my time and wait for an opportune moment" to "Actually f#@% everything I'm going to stab this child right now" without exploring his worsening emotional state enough, lol. Those were really the only two issues that were bothering me about it. Like I know it's not the HUGEST deal, but I feel like I can make it better, so I wanna try, lmao

ALL of them? OKAY THIS is going to be a fat one so I am keeping it under cut! This is for the character dynamic ask meme ( x ) *knacks my cruckles*

🌹 Who's the flirty one and who gets shy and flustered?

I think at the beginning of relationship, he was the flirtier one, and he sure knew just what sweet lines to say seeing everything for its true worth, including flaws! She used to get flustered a lot while romance was still new. Further into relationship though, this side of Nanaya truly blossomed and she became more confident and bold about it! Midra, on the other hand, became more exhausted and nervous. Constant harassment, often very dangerous, by Inquisitors. But even in the safety of his own manse he became the type to skip sleeps and be too focused on research, that made him very stressed and no longer initiating flirting. It was then up to Nanaya to flirt him into relaxing for once, and she was good at it!

🥣 Who is more skilled in the kitchen?

It feels to me like they are both equally good at cooking, and both love doing it! The catch is that they prefer different foods XD However, this is not the case of each cooking for themselves or one who cooks deciding everything; they compromise and accommodate! For example, Nanaya who likes spicy food that Midra doesn't will cook a less-spicy portion for him! Midra not wanting to burn his insides certainly has aged sfdjhfdhss

🚘 Who is/would be the better driver and who is the passenger?

Midra would be the most responsible driver, letting Nanaya to just chill and stare in the window! Nanaya, on the other hand.....

sdjhdfhs Sorry, Yukari driving was the first thing I thought of XD Nanaya is the reasonable one in relationship, but for some reason I feel like her "dark side" would come up in things like driving or competitive sports! Granted, she does neither of these in canon setting xddd

🔥 Who has the temper and who keeps a cool head?

Again, aside of funny hypothetical scenarios like the one above, they are both quite reasonable people. Midra IS the one more likely to let bad things truly get under his skin and start to think of drastic decisions where Nanaya would ground him, but he still needs prolonger exposure to the negative factor to start 'losing it'. Not just talking the Obvious Thing, it is just his personality in general! Him crossing his psychological limit begins with twitching a bit and rambling to himself, basically ignoring the other person present and spiralling into reflecting on the past through very negative lense and talking about what he will do. So yeah, the good thing about how he experiences losing temper is that there is enough time to figure out what he is going to do and take precautions or plan how to help him. He is like volcano that started to smoke and will only erupt in a while, not like sudden explosion! With Nanaya, though... Good luck making her lose temper. Even her anger will be cold.

🍊 Who likes sweet foods and who goes for salty snacks?

Neither of them likes sweets much! Having like a pair of cookies once a week is Midra's final form. Nanaya would appreciate salty snacks though! Do not let her anywhere modern AUs, it will be a LOT of chips and doritos everywhere x)

📙 Who would be the tutor and who would need the tutoring?

Midra is literally called sage and 90% of his Manse is just books, so I am pretty sure he would primarily be a tutor for anyone, not just Nanaya :p At the same time, I would not say he is that perfect wise man archetype; if the subject is not very interesting to him, he will struggle to give it proper focus and respect! Might even sulk a little and claim it 'pointless', even despite needing to be educated on any topics! Nanaya doesn't have this problem though, and had he "insulted" a certain field she would definitely find a right approach to get him invested. Don't let anyone know Midra can be biased with fields of learning too though, this is not an impression he wants to make and he is not proud of that trait!

☀️ Who is more outdoorsy and who prefers to stay inside?

Midra used to enjoy being outside and observe nature, from clouds and sunsets to tiniest insects on the flowers, until he didn't. Nanaya on the other hand was the one loving to stay inside more, and also the type to shield the room with curtains to make it dark even at the sunny day! x) Again, they switched habits when Midra became reclusive if not depressed, so Nanaya both felt like at least one of them should go outside and needed to go outside sometimes to escape the tension and think. Sometimes it did come off as passive aggression if Midra refused to go take a breathe with her, where she'd say that sure, she'll be the only one to still remember what the outside looks like..

🔒 Who's more guarded with their secrets and who is better at sharing them?

In my interpretation of the story, Midra certainly managed to do significant acting behind Nanaya's back until it was too late, so there is that... The story aside, he is not naturally a liar type at all, but he is guarded and needs some help opening up. Nanaya knew how to make him feel safe talking about what is bothering him or troublesome past. She is not that ideal therapist wife of course, but she could tell he'd benefit from venting at all, and she'd still try to help (practically more than with wise words. wise words are his thing. :p)

At the same time, her own secrets do not weight her down much but they are "uncovered" at her getting too into discussion and blurting out too much information. And her """dark secrets""" were innocent, like kinks she'd be shy about or really embarrassing memory, so Midra would get her to elaborate by teasing her XD Basically, both need a push to open up, and both know how to help each other with it.

🍋 Who is more likely to be in a sour mood on a bad day? (Bonus: how does the other one handle that?)

Midra IS the type to get really sour! He will not be outright toxic, except maybe very far late into his character arc, but he will be gloomy and say something bitter about things and people that didn't deserve this. Not about Nanaya though, bitter remarks towards her would just be auto-aggression about how she needed to do something better than to waste time on miserable old man. Again, depending on the severity of his reason to be upset she would either flirt him into cuddles or sex to help him to relax, or just hold him and make him feel safe enough to cry and thus, again, waste stress and feel better. (letting him fall sleep in her arms afterwards of course)

🦠 Who is messy and who says "damn you live like this?"

Midra is VERY messy! He doesn't clean his dishes, leaves his books everywhere, doesn't make the bed and usually his clothing either has a spot he never noticed or worn on the wrong side! He has many servants that would clean his own mess and not just wipe the dust or clean the floor etc, but very selfishly prefers Nanaya to handle the "personal" chores and not those servants. It is because she has a natural 'feeling' for how he'd like objects arranged... And if she is feeling tired or sick, he proves he is not that helpless; their rooms don't devolve into trash pile and he keeps them tidy. It is just both being unfocused and selfish.

✅️ Who cares more about being right and winning the argument?

They both care about figuring out the truth and not "winning"! If anything, whenever one beats another in the argument, another feels delighted with how smart their spouse is! I'd say they like losing these! But only with each other; losing an argument to someone else would make them feel frustrated and mentally punch themselves to get more insightful.

🍀 Who is luckier and who was born under a bad star? Do either of them believe in luck?

Midra typically believed himself to be unlucky for life since young age! Yeah he always felt like none of his efforts would avail him anything despite always struggling, that only either luck or turning to supernatural powers could eventually get him anywhere. Long history of having his efforts crashed by bad people or factors he had no control over......

You can see that culminating in him turning to seek Three Fingers to solve the problems with him and his allies being shunned from the start.. However, at some point in life, that mindset was seriously alleviated by meeting Nanaya to begin with! As far as he could tell, there was no luck or fate or magic at play in why she fell in love with him too, so!

Nanaya, on the other hand, was hopeful and the 'it too shall pass' person, but for the first time in her life she felt like she HAS been cursed... by having married him. It was after he did the Lord of Frenzied Flame attempt, that also cost them their baby. I would say it is a very justified point of breaking and being angry and heartbroken, yeah.

🗨 Who is chattier and who defaults to silence?

Midra is generally introverted, only getting more talkative about topics especially fascinating to him or with Nanaya in general! He likes to offer advice, but it is also exhausting. Nanaya does most of the talking with people! Well, she used to, before they stopped communicating with the outside world much due to Inquisitors getting worse. In a more happy, healthy, more social life, she'd be the social butterfly that can finally stay silent with Midra, whereas he'd generally keep mysterious and quiet but spill his heart out to her!

🦋 Who looks for magic in the everyday and ordinary and who needs it pointed out to them?

In the setting where magic IS real and everywhere, it is hard to say XD More vaguely speaking, both are stargazers and romantics, and same logic applies; first it was Midra who helped Nanaya to find joy and wonder in every leaf, later down the line she became the one to make him swim out of the depths of despair and appreciate the joys of nature and world for once. I am thinking about how their relationship developed in their entirety, and it makes me emotional how he once was helping her and then she started to help him in the similar ways ;-; Too bad in the end it availed to nothing because Miyazaki hates hope and good endings fdsjsfdhfgsd But:

🎇 Who is more impulsive and who is more careful? Does the careful one help keep the impulsive one grounded?

The answer from 🔥 ask applies here too; Midra doesn't 'explode', aside of the obvious succumbing to Frenzied Flame, but he can and will get a bad idea into his head when pushed past the limit of his patience and telegraph it for long enough so others take caution or plan how to stop him! Nanaya doesn't do impulsive decisions and is the more reasonable one, except for the obvious drastic reaction when he didn't listen about turning back on the Frenzied Flame research.

🎶 Who is more musical? (Bonus: can they play instruments or sing?)

Nanaya is drums and wind instrument type, she loves them and knows how to play them well! I do not remember whether key instruments are in Elden Ring setting, please remind me if there are because my memory is scattered! My point is, Midra gives me the vibe of someone who would try to study piano as tool of "intellectuals" to focus and relax but who didn't find much enjoyment in them after all. However, he'd be a natural at string instruments and enjoy them a lot!

Nanaya is very sweet and good at singing lullabies, but hopeless at singing just songs, especially on public! Her hearing evaporates when it is not a personal, intimate context XD She also hums melodies to herself often while doing anything. Midra is certainly not a singer himself, but enjoys listening to songs and writing down the lyrics and notes to stock at the library. He collects them!! While burning his library, Inquisitors had damaged quite a collection of folk songs.

🪀 Who's more playful and who is more serious? (Bonus: does the playful one ever get the serious one to join them?)

One is playful when another is sulking or embarrassed and vice-versa! They naturally react at their partner to cheer them up and/or get them to open up about something! Midra does this rarer of course, like I said before it mostly comes up if Nanaya accidentally exposed something awkward and it is far too late for her to take it back x) Nanaya though, has more energy and so to say "talent" at lightening up the mood, but that trait truly developed in this relationship. She always had this spark in her, just no people worthy of it before she met Midra.

😈 Who is naughtier? Either in the bedroom or by breaking the law, etc.

Nanaya is absolutely more naughty sexually, both with behaviour and with having more energy! She could catch him by surprise during him doing other stuff and he enjoys it. She takes initiative in sexual activities! However, from time to time, she happens to want to try something she is shy about.. and in these cases, Midra not only gets 'naughty' but has to get so to convince her to "elaborate" xD Besides, seeing her shy about these things is such a rare but adorable sight that he has a field day when it happens!

The for sure broke the law by researching Frenzied Flame for a while, although Nanaya was the one to understand when it was no longer a right risk to take. Midra would be the one having the idea to "break the law", they'd go through it together despite her doubts, but Nanaya would be the one to know where to stop or cancel the plan.

💕 Who is more romantic? (Bonus: how do they express it?)

Poetry and compliments and sweet dreamy plans and romantic gestures are Midra's element by default! He was no longer giving much of that attention down the line as dread, anxiety and depression were siphoning away his health even without any FF. Nanaya was less consistent about it and more on receiving side, but further in married life started to organise candlelit dinners or making sex more 'special'. Again: matter of finding a person worthy of showing this side to! She is also the type to have rare spurs of inspiration to write poems for him, but she doesn't like her writing and will probably eat the paper sheet if Midra points out she has something for him XDDD The main difference I guess is that Midra is consistently romantic as long as his mental health allows, whereas Nanaya makes 'surprises' when mood takes her!

🎀 Who has more talents/hobbies? Does the other ever feel insecure about this?

In a better and healthier setting, Nanaya would be the type to learn a new skill from time to time for sure! She likes trying out new things and keep the skill rather than ditching the interest in a week too. Could be learning how to paint, could be learning how to build a cabinet x) For now her specialities are sewing and embrodery (created her outfit by herself) + learning new recipes. But, again, given enough time and stability, she'd end up learning enough skills to barely need servants anymore XDDD

Midra is the bookish, educated man, with skills mostly connected to that! He WAS the flowers and garden man though, absolutely! Had they had a farm (and, again, been in a better setting), he would be hard to drag away from it. He would be THE cottagecore man x) Would observe insects and birds too + take pictures in modern AU. He admires how Nanaya's interests and aspirations are more varied but can't follow on 80% of them. She, at the same time, is absolutely not a kind of wife that feels the need to get her husband involved in every new interest, she understands and is content with him just listening!

🌸 Who is more likely to make the decisions in a high pressure situation? Does the other one like to follow their leadership?

Both! It pretty much depends who is faster at taking initiative for a decision under pressure! Midra's decisions under high pressure are more drastic, but if he is faster at commanding them, Nanaya will nervously swallow and listen instead of instantly arguing. She will soon get a grip and try to calm him down of course. But if she is faster at telling what to do, he will follow her lead. She is calmer and seems to plan ahead well even in highly stressful situations! Just needs to snatch the lead position first before Midra humbled her with his rare moment of assertiveness.

Okay that was fun!! I did not even realise how much of a clear mental image I had of them before answering this ask meme, so thank you for bringing out that part of my headcanons XD Honestly, their relationship feels very healthy... like if the one thing that ruined it WAS messing with Frenzied Flame. Nothing else would've ruined it otherwise, no conflicts and no Midra's descent into depression. They balance each other so well. No wonder this ship is so likeable, I felt like it was writing ITSELF this whole post!!
